I absolutely love this board! I am a collector of Ouija boards, and couldn't wait to add this to my collection! The only issue I have is that one of the snap-in feet for the planchette was mismanufactured. The other two are fine, so I'll contact Hasbro for a replacement. That minor issue was not enough to warrant giving less than 5 stars, though. The board and planchette glow vividly, and the planchette slides easily across the board. The board has a bit of an arched shape to it, and I am not sure how it happened. Maybe in manufacturing? It has no effect on the use of the planchette. I plan on mounting the board on a wooden plank with a glass top to help protect it, so it should flatten out easily.

since buying this ouija board we have had many friends from the other side come visit us. My grandma who died five years ago stopped by and complained about my cooking. Now she won't leave. All she does it complain complain complain. So we summoned up my grandpa thinking he would come pick her up and take her back to heaven with him, but nope, he came to stay too. I smell his cigars all over the house and i hear his constant hacking cough all night long. Now lights turn on by themselves, the tv shuts off in the middle of my shows, i dont know what to do! Husbands and wives beware, with this board it is no longer till death do us part.

Gotta have it just for friends who have to make your home their favorite haunt.

it was great ,, i have experience and already auto write with a pen , it helps you seek answeres from the spirit world , oh ya while open mind to the board you have to think about talking to the spirit world ,, you can have fun with your subconsinius mind !!!! and try to remember your communicate to the spirit world ,,, or else the board wont work !!!!

No issues with the board. Bought it as an item to have around due to its age and I'm a fan of ouija board. I regretted getting rid of my last so was happy to find one like this at a great price.

Item came exactly as described in excellent condition, box was damaged, but that was fine since the actual product was in mint condition without a single scratch or scuff. Thank You!!

The planchette doesn't glide very easily needs felt material or something

The planchet glows pretty bright on this. Got this for the wife. We're waiting for the right Spooky Night to try it out!

It could be alil better but it's fine. I played it the first night I got it, it kept telling my friend to go home, then going to Goodbye, lol. So yeah I like it!

But it kinda feels cheap.Other than that. It is what it is.For the price- it could have had better quality.

this was fun for a while but like most other games, the teens lost interest. I wouldn't recommend this game for kids under 13 and that may be a little young. Probably high school would be better. My daughter and her friends had a lot a fun for a while but then it was on to other things.

This is standard board game quality, pretty much what I expected for the price. It's fun to play around with.

This Board definitely works. Well it did for me at least. It works perfectly their is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Although, I played it with 2 of my friends all three of us and it worked and it made us really scared because it said it was going to haunt us. Well it never did obviously. This was like 4 years ago. So if your reading this and you have this board be prepared for what they might say, here's a couple tips.• Don't let your fear show•Don't be scared cuz they are just messing with you• Always say goodbye• Be as nice as you possibly can be•When they laugh you laugh• Ask them nice questions not dumb ones•don't play alone•if something really really really freaky happens throw away the board (It Doesn't Come Back)And that's about it. And btw a lot of people say the supposeobly the board "comes back" well I threw mine away in the trash inside my house and it never came back so.Thanks for reading my review and be safe. ☺️

Everything is fine other than it is missing the needle that is supposed to be inside the clear part of the planchete

The board and planchette glow, and the set is complete. The item I received doesn't really fit the "very good" condition label it was given. The box is sticky, warped, and won't stay closed. The board is stained and was covered in drops of wax I had to scrape off - it damaged the board. Fortunately, I bought this for a Halloween prop and will only be used for that purpose.

Thought this would glow more, getting glow in the dark polish to add more umph. Also the smell on my particular board is very strong, and it doesn't smell nice

It looks great , glows in the dark and stuff but just wish i could get mine to work hahaha, maybe its cause i play it alone all the time , well try to , noone willl play with me though , my brother and sisters are to afraid i guess , and idk if just one person can get it to work , would totally give it 5 stars if i could get it to work lol

While this was a fun buy, it ended up in the Goodwill pile after a year or two of very gentle use. the black paint on the board started peeling in places I never even touched. I'm pretty sure this brought bad omens and maybe even an evil spirit into my fiance's house.. That has nothing to do with the product though! Please make a new version (maybe wood?) that won't peel so easily.

Not bad, but cheaper materials these days. I thought it would be fun to use the board as a tray during Halloween festivities but it's pretty thin. Again, it's just for a gag anyway.

I had one of these boards about 30 years ago. I got this one for my niece and noticed the following: A) The board is about 1/2 the size of the original leaving very little room to separate the letters.; B) The brass nail in the center of the hand moved displayer is now just molded plastic and no longer has magnetic effect; C) the feet on the hand moved displayer are no longer felt and are now plastic so it does not glide like the original. I would recommend searching for an original, older version if you can.

Board is Heavy cardboard -- not firm enough for the moving device to move intuitively.

I started using the board and began feeling rather uneasy. Dabbling in this is just not for everybody and most certainly not for me!!!

Truly junk! My nieces and nephews had only heard of a Ouija board and as a kid, I had such fun with my own. The planchette would seem to slide on its own to answer such questions as "Does Mike Maloney really like me?" I owed it to the kids to share the experience, and its chills and thrills.But this experience is so inferior! The cardboard board does not lie flat and the all-plastic planchette has "feet" that are plastic, too. The original Ouija board felt solid and lay flat, and the felt feet of the planchette meant that it slipped along with the slightest pressure. You couldn't tell if the spirits were sliding it, or your friend next to you was, or your own hopes and wishes were the driving force! You cannot have any such thrilling questions with this set, alas.Yes, this planchette glows in the dark but that is hardly a technological feat that warrants the price or changes. How much would it actually cost to glue on little felt pads to the planchette? And you would think Parker Brothers would know better than anyone how to create a cardboard board with some substance and the ability to lie flat, and yet this one has a raised middle!False economy, Parker Bros.! "Who plays board games anymore?" one of the kids asked when I brought out this Ouija board. Yes, who does? And with games like this, why would they want to?

the board is badly warped,will not lay flat making it very hard to move the piece smoothly. what do i have to do to flatten it?

It's a card board

This board came with it bent it took me like two months of setting things on it to to fix it. Overall though it does what its advertised to do. It will have you talking to spirits in no time. Unfortunately the spirits get upset that the board is all warped.

The quality of this Ouija board was very disappointing! The board was warped, made out of thin material and plastic, and expensive!

I thought the glow in the dark effect would be a nice added touch. I didn't know the planchette takes batteries! What a joke! Do not buy this.

The coating they used to make the board glow is so rough the planchette can't even move.

Tried it, nothing happened, yes I did plenty of research, but no luck whatsoever, BUT the board I bought it from , was in nice condition

The board is too rough because of the glow in the dark coating; the thing doesn't move across it. It's also bent. Buy the original if you want a Ouija board.

This item reeked of cigarette odor. Returned.
