Five Star Reviews: | 71% Exceeded Expectations. September 4, 2017 All my golf shoes are size 10, so ordered size 10, and fits as expected. Two 18 hole rounds and very comfortable. Temperature was 90deg, about 35% humidity. Very comfortable during the round and no issues at the end of the round. Nice looking and had good contact with the ground. Better than expected fit and quality. Exactly what I had hoped for! March 25, 2017 I had ordered a new pair of golf shoes from a different company and when they arrived they were much tighter than advertised so I sent them back and thought to try these. Comfortable from the time I put them on, great on early morning wet fairways, easy to clean the bottoms before putting them away and overall, a great golf shoe. Great fit, great traction, and great comfort for walking 18. July 11, 2016 I can't say enough about how much I love these spineless shoes. I have gone through many pairs of golf shoes and there is always something about the shoe no matter the brand that makes me want to get them off as soon as I finish my round. These shoes are extremely comfortable though, like wearing regular sneakers. The fit for me was exactly as expected, not to snug and not to loose, perfect for walking 18 holes. The material is easy to clean even though these are white and not having to worry about the spikes wearing down is an added bonus. I have to say that was one of the biggest reason's I gave these a shot. Having to replace spikes on shoes every year was just frustrating, and so far I have had no problem keeping traction without them. The bottom of these give plenty of traction as long as you don't plan on going out while its a downpour. Light rain I had no problem with however, and these are waterproof so no worries on that end either. Very inexpensive price on amazon as well which is why i gave these a shot instead of buying a different brand of spikeless shoes in a store and I am glad I did. You won't be disappointed. Such a comfortable shoe. I put them on and immediately loved ... February 27, 2016 Such a comfortable shoe. I put them on and immediately loved them. Having wide feet I always worry that I'll have to send shoes back because they are too narrow. These easily accommodate my wide foot. So happy. Might go hit a bucket just so I can wear them! They look great too. A bargain and twice the price September 29, 2015 For an older man with a torn heel fatty pad and peripheral neuropathy these are the first choice in shoes whether playing golf or running errands, in spite of them running a little small. WHEN we buy a second pair it'll be 1/2 size larger.Just played golf all weekend in the rain and these are much more waterproof than the $200 Eccos he also has.If the side of the soles weren't white they'd look dressier, but still, as is, they're getting worn to church on Sundays.(The addition of thin gel heel pads make the heel feel even better.) Very Comfortable May 21, 2015 These are my first spikeless golf shoes. I settled on this pair as the previous reviewers wrote how comfortable they were. They were right, these are very comfortable. I put them on and played a round of golf and had no problems. I was also amazed at how good the traction was, no slips at all. I may just buy another pair in a different color soon. | 65% Perfect fit! September 27, 2017 Fit well, light and very comfortable!! Got these for my son as he needed some golf shoes! My husband golfed all day in these and no problems ... September 17, 2017 My husband golfed all day in these and no problems with his feet at all. We ordered a 1/2 size larger since he has wide feet and they fit perfectly. Overall Good Golf Shoe August 31, 2017 They run a bit small and slightly narrow. I should have probably gone a half size up. Other than that they look good and feel great. Feel terrific on the feet June 30, 2017 The Adidas Men's Tech Response 4.0 Golf Shoe,Black/Black/White,9 M U, were very lightweight. Arrived 4 days earlier than expected. Feel terrific on the feet. Can't wait to wear them on the course next week. I love them! May 16, 2017 The most comfortable walking shoes I've had to date. Even better than my FootJoys. Great shoes. May 15, 2016 Great lightweight shoes. Breathable and comfortable. Walked 9 first day, then 18 with a cart the next. Feet felt great after all of it. Honestly not the most stylish golf shoe out there. My buddy called them "dad shoes". But I'll gladly sacrifice style for comfort and performance.I went up half a size and they fit perfectly. |
Four Star Reviews: | 22% Nice pair of golf shoes December 17, 2016 This is the first pair of non replacement spike golf shoes I have owned. I am a casual golfer and really like the fit and grip of these shoes. They should last me years despite the fact that you can't replace the spikes. They are tough! Pavement, paths, gravel, are no match for the built in rubber spikes. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that they rubbed on the heel for quite a while until they broke in.I used the duct tape on the achilles trick for a few rounds and that seemed to do the trick. Pleased with purchase October 7, 2015 I wore the shoes on the golf course for the first time today. With new golf shoes it usually takes several wearings before I feel comfortable in the shoes. This pair is no exception. I think it will work out fine. Overall the shoe is comfortable, does not pinch, and provides excellent traction. I can give a better idea about shoe satisfaction after I wear them a few more times. So far I have no regrets in making the purchase. I hate to vote them down because they are well made ... July 9, 2015 I hate to vote them down because they are well made and look great, but they are quite small for the stated size, and the top of the upper cuts into the back of my heel sharply, and these facts both combine to make the shoes unwearable. An 11 might work better than my usual 10.5, but probably would not fix the issue with the heel. I did try on a pair of the Cardiff ADC 2 at a local shop, and I did not have the same heel issue, so it seems Ashworth has addressed this problem with their update to this style. ... 3 rounds and these are much lighter and more comfortable than "regular" spiked golf shoes July 7, 2015 I have worn for 3 rounds and these are much lighter and more comfortable than "regular" spiked golf shoes. Played one round with lots of dew and protection was very good. My single complaint is that the heel rides a bit high and I developed a small blister on the heel. It will be fine once the skin toughens up a bit, but overall would buy again. I got the brown color for $59. That's a great deal. Good shoes! May 24, 2015 I like the shoes. I ordered mens shoes because they are wider than women's shoes which I need. They are slightly heavier than a woman's shoe. That's what I don't like. When I did wear them, it was wet. I stepped in spot that was deep water without realizing it but my foot did not get wet. Amazing! I love the navy blue. | 23% Good for Cricket as well November 8, 2017 Bought these shoes for playing Cricket(not golf). Good for the wet conditions in the Pacific NorthWest where normal cricket shoes wouldn't provide enough grip. The fit is generally smaller compared to other shoes of the same size. I would recommend going for 1 size bigger or at least the wide-fit.Generally, happy with the shoes but giving it 4 stars as cannot be used on astro-turf surfaces. The base/sole is pretty hard and I started getting foot-aches after prolonged use on hard surfaces. Good, comfortable golf shoe. August 15, 2017 Comfortable out of the box. Good for walking the course. Not good for wet conditions as the upper takes on stains. I'd buy them again though. Definitely a good value purchase July 18, 2017 These are a little tight, but I wear sandals most of the time so my feet have spread some. I originally ordered by regular shoe size (9.5) but those were not wearable they were so tight. So I tried the 10.0M and they did the trick. I feel that they may be making a minor difference in my game. When I'm in the tee box, I feel that I'm more firmly grounded than when I was wearing sneakers. Definitely a good value purchase. they breathe nicely and are very comfortable July 18, 2017 Not advertised as waterproof and they are not. But, they breathe nicely and are very comfortable. Plus they give very good traction and feel stable. Great dry weather golf shoe July 9, 2017 Nice golf shoe. I haven't had a chance to wear them much due to all the rain here in New England. They are light weight and comfortable but not water proof. 9 1/2 fit as expected. What a treat to get into a golf shoe that essentially fits and feels like a light-weight tennis shoe March 22, 2015 This type of golf shoe was new to me. I have always worn the classic tassle-tounged spiked golf shoes that now are an anomaly. What a treat to get into a golf shoe that essentially fits and feels like a light-weight tennis shoe. The surprise? - they work as well as the old spiked shoes and are a lot easier to take care of as well as being so light-weight, they don't add any weight to a walk around the 18 holes. VERY satisfied... |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% Updated: 2/19/2017 February 10, 2017 After wearing them for a few more days, they loosed up and became more comfortable. The left foot still feels a bit tight in the front. I also noticed that the grey leather is easily scratched with reveals a lighter color underneath.Original review: 1/5 starsThese shoes are fine if you don't do any walking. But after walking 9 holes, I noticed that the left shoe's back end started to really dig in to my Achilles tendon. It left a big red mark there, although the right shoe fit fine.I should have stuck to Callaway shoes like I had before. Nice, but Tight Fit December 28, 2016 Good shoes and they are waterproof. Downside is they run a little small. With these shoes you can wear the low cut socks and the socks and shoes are pretty much the same out line June 19, 2016 These fit size wise, length and width. With these shoes you can wear the low cut socks and the socks and shoes are pretty much the same out line.I wore these on a 18 hole outing a couple of days after purchase in summary very comfortable, I like that the leather is fairly soft, the soft spikes did well on dry turf.I did get a sore spot on my left foot from the tongue of the shoe rubbing up against my foot and that is the reason for 3 stars. I've never had that happen before with any golf shoe wearing similar socks. Sent them back but liked the look February 1, 2016 Not sure about the arch support. If you have a wide foot, they are a bit narrow. Sent them back but liked the look. The shoes are great, just ran about a half size too small September 2, 2015 The shoes are great, just ran about a half size too small. I reordered and the slightly larger size fit perfectly. Foot Fits Fine June 27, 2015 nice looking and easier on the old tootsies. being a diabetic I have to pay attention to anything which might cause foot issues. these seem to fit the bill. | 7% They only made them look good October 23, 2017 Nice shoe but Adidas neglected the foot bed, seriously everyone wants to make their shoes look good - which these do - but golf is a walking game and these give absolutely no support and no cushion. I bought Spenco's excellent orthodic insert and ditched the ones that came with the shoe. Shouldn't have had to add the insert. Three Stars September 4, 2017 Fit as expected but durability was an issue. The heal area wore out very quickly No arch support! August 9, 2017 Must have been made for people with flat feet this shoe had no arch support! Three Stars March 12, 2017 They aren't as sturdy as traditional leather, but definitely are able to be worn for 6 hours without discomfort. |
Two Star Reviews: | 2% Got what I paid for! June 3, 2016 Despite the favorable reviews, I was disappointed. Next time, I will gladly pay more for FJ. These shoes were perfect since this is the second time I've purchased them December 7, 2015 These shoes were perfect since this is the second time I've purchased them. This last purchase was made on August 21st and the shoes are already falling apart. The original pair that I purchased lasted almost 18 months, but his pair is falling apart after just 3 months. Two of the permanent spikes in the bottom of the shoes have broken out and the shoes leak. Worst part was the front tongue area cuts into your ... August 21, 2015 These shoes felt a little larger. Worst part was the front tongue area cuts into your foot. Amazon was good about return as always. Nice quality but you better have narrow feet May 23, 2015 Narrow at toes, tried on within 5 minutes toe hurt. It seems the plus being waterproof carries the minus of being more narrow. | 2% Very disappointed! September 6, 2017 My husband wore these only a few times before the heel feel off. Very disappointed! Every shoe I buy are a 9. 5W. ... March 27, 2017 Every shoe I buy are a 9.5W. These were marked correctly but are way to narrow. Went and bought a pair of Foot Joys that are 9.5W and they fit perfectly Two Stars January 28, 2017 Nice looking but size to narrow even though it was supposed to be a 3X! No way ... the heel of my foot started to hurt so bad I had to take them off October 30, 2016 After wearing for more than two hours the heel of my foot started to hurt so bad I had to take them off. There is not enough padding in the heel of the shoe. It felt like the spikes where coming up into my heel. Two Stars September 2, 2016 Surprised to find out that these are not waterproof. And therefore are not playable |
One Star Reviews: | 1% If you have defect throw them away February 11, 2017 Right shoe sole (6 months) came unglued, called taylormade/ashworth and they said take them retail store for evaluation. No store would take them for return. Warranty worthless and ended up throwing them away. I've attempted to repair them but the quality is not good. February 10, 2016 I've had the shoes since May and wear them about twice a week. The right sole is separating from the shoe at the heel. I've attempted to repair them but the quality is not good. | 3% Very narrow February 4, 2016 Decent cheap shoe. The medium is very narrow and I would question if it fits anyone with a normal D with comfortably. Might work for cart riders but not recommended for walkers. July 28, 2015 The shoes fit properly but have basically no functional padding between the spikes and the inner sole. This resulted in my having to give up my game on the 17th hole due to the pain from the pressure of the spike assemblies. I wanted to return or exchange these shoes for a better quality item. They were purchased on June 6th as a Fathers Day gift and were worn for the first time yesterday on July 27th. And, now I find that the item is no longer eligible for return as of July 11th. I have searched everywhere for some means of getting help from Amazon by either e-mail or phone and only keep going in circles ending up at "view return policy". As a long time Amazon customer, I am very disappointed in the apparent absence of any direct means of communicating with this company. I have been ordering just size 12 regular but this ... December 19, 2014 I have been ordering just size 12 regular but this time since they were golf shoes and I wanted to have a little more room I ordered size 12W.I figured I would need the wide width. These shoes fit tighter than the regular size 12. I am trying to send them back. |
