The comforter is no down comforter, it is thin but keeps you very warm. Looking at everything, plus thew reviews and the outside design we decided it would be best to get it dry cleaned instead of throwing it in the wash. If you are looking for a soft thick comforter this set is not for you. If you want a beautiful comforter set that will take a little extra care then definitely purchase this. The painting is very nice, and is of a nice landscape. Many reviews stated that the painting did not portray the image in the picture. I disagree, it may not be exact on some, but mine was exactly the same. the colors are beautiful and vibrant. They will look amazing in our living room among all of our family pictures. I believe that the paintings are just under 12"x16" and there are three panels. Many would think this is small, but it is a good size in most living rooms. I like the painting myself. Four Star Reviews: | 12% Four Stars April 19, 2017 Bought this for a gift never seen it but the person I bought it for said it's good Color is more burgundy than picture indicates, still looks good September 29, 2016 The set appears more burgundy in person than indicated in the picture, it is not a bright red. The applique design appears to be on there pretty good and after a run through the washer & dryer (according to instructions) I do not see any signs of peeling. All the pillows have been washed and dried and survived the process fine. The red and black pillow shams on the other hand did not fare quite as well in the laundry, there is a backing on the inside of the sham that sort of melted together in the dryer (even when run on low), however I was able to stretch the shams back out to normal size and will still use them, just use caution with them.The comforter is very fluffy and I was unable to fit it into my washing machine (it's a commercial size). It went a few rounds in the dryer to fluff out the folds from shipping and came out no worse for wear. Wish the material had a softer feel to it, however perhaps it will soften some in time. It does look as good as I'd hoped (sans color difference, not a deal breaker though).The kit comes with everything as advertised and was delivered promptly. I also had to do a return with the shipper and it processed smoothly. They were responsive and credit processed as agreed. I like it. August 9, 2016 I really like the pattern and the color, the only down side is the fabric which is pretty itchy on the top. The bottom of the comforter is great, not at all itchy, but the top is pretty uncomfortable. It was way more than I expected and I loved it. What I will say, however, is that mine is clearly not a painting: it is a canvas print. Though it looks beautiful...the first disappointment is the black area where rocks are supposed to be. The clouds look great, more or less everything is just like the picture. Minus the rocks. It looks like in mass producing it, they just blacked out the rocks. The mountains need some work too. The red looks great in contrast to the other dark areas. I kept it and put it in a low frequency area. It was less than $15 so what did I expect. Not a bad buy for the price I guess. So my next issue, it was supposed to be prime 2 day shipping. However, I guess because I ordered it July 4th that had some delays. I didn't get it until the 9th. Checked on the 7th thinking it would come that day...it said 'not yet shipped'. Then, it pushed back the date...guaranteed delivery on the 8th. checked on the 8th, then it said, guaranteed delivery on the 9th...really! That was the most disappointing 'prime' shipment ever since shopping with amazon. Anyway, I put it up with 4 small pieces of scotch 3m double sided mounting tape on each frame. It holds nicely because the frame is lightweight and I didn't want holes in the wall. A nice effect is how the picture stretches over 3 canvases...so for $14.30, I can compromise with the flaws. A good investment at a low price July 2, 2015 Just received this. Took less than three days with Prime. Would have given The Cloud Tree five (5) stars but was a little unhappy about one feature. Whereas some have said the orbs in the first of the paintings-the left hand one--were too prominent, I can barely make out the outline of one orb. Pretty much just undefined black in the whole lower left corner. In retrospect, the black may be a perfect foil for the "angry" red clouds in the third painting. The three paintings march up exactly when hung close together. That may be more important than no orbs.I am pleased with these paintings. Originally bought them for my office but did not look right. After walking around my home looking for a new place to hang the paintings finally settled on a far wall in my living room. A room decorated in beige and gray with platinum drapes. These trick photographers are as talented as the artists... You get what you pay for. February 15, 2017 The type of print and low cost is why I bought this. For the cost, the value is as I expected. Overall, the three frames were smaller than expected from looking at the item online. Lastly, the plastic material with the portrait imprinted on it for one frame was not glued properly in place around the frame and had to use glue to repair the defect during improper or poor manufacturing. Long wait and picture flaws November 21, 2015 First of all, I didn't get this until nearly 2 months after I ordered it. I got it so late matter a fact, I completely forgot I even ordered it. I was excited once I discovered what it was but disappointed upon opening it. The painting does NOT match the painting in the picture in several different spots. Most of them were minor expect for the mountains. The mountains had no "shade to them" like in the drawing where you see the white lining to define them. Instead it was just all blended together and didn't look good, could barely even tell what they were. I haven't hung it up yet because I am going to buy some paint brushes and add a little to make them pop like in the picture, but I shouldn't have to. Overall these are nice pictures, and the canvas is quality but just be prepared for a long wait and design flaws from the original. Budget Friendly Art! Also after washing it became lumpy and didn't sit right in the bed. The pillows look nice but I will be looking for something else that fits my needs better. I like the look of it March 30, 2016 I like the look of it. As other reviewers have said, the top feels a little rough and odd. It feels fine on the underside. My complaint is that the sheets of cotton, or whatever material is inside of this, is thin and bunches up and lumps all together. It's a bit of a pain trying to get it to flatten out. I do toss a bit when I'm sleeping. So if you don't move much while sleeping, this might not be an issue for you. I'll be replacing it and use it as a guest blanket so I don't have to deal with it as often. I just saw 4 stars and went with it. But when my set arrived, one pillow is already ripped open along the seam. I feel like my guest bedroom is trying to look like a three star hotel and is feeling like a one star hotel. I like the design, but after reading the reviews below, I take it that I'll have to basically not wash the comforter or we'll have an issue. I washed the pillow cases last night before reading this and I'm afraid to go look in the washer to be honest.I'm sad I spent this much on this and could have gone to Walmart and gotten better quality for the same price. I guess I know where I'm going for bedding from now on, even though I HATE shopping at Walmart. :( I'm very sad this didn't work out like I wanted and I'm also very grateful I was doing up the guest room that only sees people in it four times a year or so.If I didn't have guests arriving in less than a week, I'd send it back. But I need something for them to use, so... here it will stay, I suppose. No washing for that comforter until it's 10000% necessary. When I got the package the paint was still wet when the shipped it the when I took the painting apart the paint started to come up . When I tried to get in touch with the seller she asked me to send her pictures of the damages when I emailed her the picture she siad she woukd give me back part of my money . I let a few weeks go by and have not hear or seen any money back to my account . So I got in touch with Amazon customer service and they siad that they would handle it .
