| A great toolJanuary 14, 2016 I purchased this item as a gift for my husband. I must say, I was afraid he wasn't going like and/or use it, as he owns a vast selection of power tools, and then some. To my surprise, he was very delighted with the gift. The battery keeps the charge for days, and the tool is good for hard to reach areas. I am thinking of purchasing one for my own use So much easier and more flexible than my big old drillNovember 23, 2015 This is my new favorite thing. I have a great big powerful drill but it is not the most flexible thing and I have trouble getting the right amount of pressure on it at awkward angles. Seemed like a lot of my curtain rods were just a little loose because I couldn't get the right angle. I used this to go back at all those little screws around the house (curtain rods, sound bar brackets, cabinet organizers) and was able to get everything tightened up. Goes a long way on a charge. If I had any criticism it would be that once you lock the head in place, it can still jiggle a bit. I'm hoping this doesn't get worse over time. Super Handy Portable Power ToolMarch 4, 2015 This tool is really handy, especially due to its versatility with getting into small spaces using the adjustable head. It's a lot smaller than my previous electric screwdriver but I don't lose any functionality, just the bulk. It's portable and has a clip for your waistband which is nice to have when you are picking it up and putting it down constantly. I have found the built-in LED light to be another nice feature my previous tool didn't have that I didn't know I was missing. but something slower and easy to jockey aroundFebruary 20, 2015 I do IT support for work and do a fair amount of low voltage cabling. I needed a cordless screw driver for installing faceplates, I don't need a full sized drill, which I already have, but something slower and easy to jockey around. I went with this because of the appearance of the versatile head. It does exactly what I need and expected and look forward to the expanded flexibility as I find new needs for it. | Great unit, lightweight and easy to handle.July 14, 2017 Had one before and loved it but lost the charger. Order new charger but unit will not charge, probably the battery. Ordered this new one. But they have changed the charging unit so they are not interchangeable also they no longer offer the travel pouch which holds accessories. | Lacks power but great for one reasonAugust 13, 2017 You're not buying this because you want power. You're buying it because it's the only such product that can be articulated like a crazy straw. You can click it into more positions than advertised. So it'll come in handy when you are upside down, balancing on one foot, contorting around a corner trying to make your bit connect with an elusive hidden screwhead. But in these crazy configurations it is difficult to apply much force via the handle grip. But again, this is more a small screw, wood cabinetry kind of gadget. Not bad as an extra drill for small jobs.July 30, 2016 I like the concept and glad I bought it, and I use it more than I thought I would, but just in case there are some designers reading this, I would change two or three things. First, I don't like how non-rigid the unit is when used straight on. Second, the F-N-R switch is in a bad place (at least for me), as I keep hitting it accidentally and putting it into neutral. Third, I don't like that I can't tell when the battery is getting weak; it would be nice to have some sort of guage. I fear overcharging it. Otherwise it is a handy little unit. This lower end priced power screwdriver functions, but the rechargeable battery hardly provides enough power for getting out tough screws, it drains very rapidly. The flexible head does not flip down enough where it would be useful in tight spots. Craftsmanship is solid, not top of the line, but not cheap garbage either. It comes with attachment heads which is convenient. I just wish it had more power to perform the jobs I need it to perform. | |
