Well made, flexible, long, but perhaps a litte more restrictive in terms of water flow.April 12, 2016 These feel like really well constructed hoses, and they are long and plenty flexible for any reasonble gap behind a washer. They have really nice, thick, rubber washers, and I didn't have any issues or leaks, and as I removed my old rubber hoses, I noticed one was completely missing the rubber washer - it had rotted away, and the metal itself was starting to corrode in 2 places, and I would think it was a good candidate to start leaking in a major way.One criticism, and I'm not sure if will matter to some - I had just replaced my mixing valve, and it was corroded and jammed with sediment. So when I replaced it, the water flow was tremendously improved - it could really fill fast, hot, cold, or mixed. But when I replaced the old rubber hoses with these braided ones a couple of weeks later, the water flow rate dropped noticeably. I didn't notice any restrictors in the ends, so I'm guessing the inside diamter is just smaller than the old ones.It's not a a deal breaker, and if I hadn't just replaced my mixing valves, I probably wouldn't have noticed, but if you're super focuses on flow rate, I'd try another type. | Don't pimp my dryer.January 10, 2017 Like all modern washers these are painfully slow (those of us that are old enough know that it used to only take 20 min to wash a load), but in their defense with the turbo wash option this washer is at least faster than a lot of newer machines. The dryer steam option is useless. It literally just squirts water on your clothes during the last few minutes of the cycle and leaves your items wet. I called LG to see if this was just a problem with my machine. They told me the anti static option that uses "steam" is supposed to leave clothes slightly damp in order to prevent static buildup. Sometimes items come out more than "slightly" damp though. There is a version of this dryer without the steam option that is somewhat more affordable - I recommend opting for that version.The pictures here make the glass look quite transparent, but for some reason these actually have tinted glass which is bizarre and largely defeats the point of having glass - unless you are right next to the machine it is difficult to see through the glass to see if there is something in there.Load capacity is great. | | Internal Diameter too Narrow.December 24, 2016 It can be used for washing machines but the internal diameter is smaller than typical washing machine hoses, which slows down the washing machines during fill cycles. No where on the product label does it say Watts. It says "Made for Electrolux." Only on the outer plastic bag does it say Watts, and that is just a sticker that is placed over another sticker underneath it. I bought the exact same model of Watts hose five years ago, and it is a completely different hose (larger inner diameter, has red stripes on the hot water hose and blue stripes on the cold water hose) -- this one has a smaller inner diameter and no stripes. Inside diameter is ridiculously tiny.March 19, 2016 The ID (inside diameter) at the connectors is about 3/16 of an inch. That is less than a quarter inch opening. It will take forever to fill my Kenmore washing machine. Yes - the coupling will screw on to the washing machine but that tiny hole that the water has to pass through on each end will slow down the flow of water (amount per minute) in the washer significantly. The pressure will remain the same but the amount of water per minute to fill the machine will be reduced radically. It will take about twice as long as normal to fill my Kenmore washer. There are two fill cycles and the rinse cycle so the whole process of laundry will take about twice as long. This is like filling a swimming pool with a drinking straw - it will take forever. I purchased Certified Appliance WM60SS2PK Washing Machine Hose (2 Pack), 60", Stainless Steel and found that they have a 5/16 opening which will fill my machine a little faster than the Kenmore hoses it came with.Oddly enough they are all made in China (naturally!) but the hose from Certified are considerably better made and heftier. Very Poor QualityApril 11, 2014 The description states for a washer, a standard washer with standard fittings which they all are. They did not remotely fit my washer or even the faucet which it must. Even the cheap rubber washers were flimsy and very loose. So much for quality control. Keep in mind there is no writing or psi rating on the hoses also they seem very cheep compared to others at the box stores. If you still purchase these washer hoses test them outside first.
