Sorry I spent what I did on professional microdermabrasion. I was scared to use it at first & it took me a while to try it, but I now use it almost weekly. I was looking at the small home type ones and the one I had my eye on had sold out. I found this one on a deal for almost the same price as the home versions. Haven't noticed any significant differences in my skin tone but does help clean out your pores. I do like that it came with so many tip choices, I like to switch it up and this is a great option most other microdermabrasion machines did not offer. Great machine -works great if you know what you're doing. September 18, 2013 First off, I would have given 5 stars if there were more complete instructions. A DVD manual would be most excellent. I carefully read the reviews before purchasing the Kendal Professional Diamond Microdermabrasion Machine and am glad I purchased it based upon the favorable reviews.HOWEVER: This machine is not for the novice. I have studied skin care and kept up with my personal regime for over 40 years. This includes dozens of salon microdermabrasion sessions. Therefore, I knew how to use the wand and tips. And speaking of tips, here are a few:1. Do not apply a lot of pressure.2. Make sure the suction tips are flush with the skin.3. For best results, use sweeping motions.4. Avoid leaving the suction tip in one place to avoid abrasions and redness.5. Do not use over active pimples, cuts, lesions or moles.6. IF this is your first time with microdermabrasion, wait a couple of weeks before your next treatment. I was concerned about some of the reviews who said they were using it every 3 or 4 days.7. It works best in conjuction with Alpha-hydroxy peels and Retin-A. However cease use of peels and Retin-A at least 5 days before your next microdermabrasion treatment.Great Product - would recommend to others! Cumbersome but it works September 16, 2013 This device has already paid for itself. It's a bit intimidating, but once you get the hang of it you will love it. Hope that it lasts! I recommend watching YouTube videos of the process. The instructions left a little to be desired for. Less is more. Start with a finer tip so you don't irritate your skin. The machine is huge. You will need counter space or a big cabinet to store it in. | 14% nice but sent back April 14, 2016 nice product but it has a lot of moving parts with the directions its hard to figure out so I sent it back. the machine itself looks pretty well built not a flimsy machine. quality looked great just a little too difficult for me to figure out A good investment in me! January 20, 2016 I was excited to treat myself to this and then became intimidated once I got it. I stared it for a bit and then after watching a few you-tube videos I gave it a shot. It's great! For home use it comes with a ton of filters. Mine DID come with a manual, though videos were more helpful. I have not figured out what the glass tube things are for or how to use them. Once set up initially it's quick and easy to use. It's actually quite simple to set up but the lack of direction leaves you fearful you'll do something wrong and break it. My only REAL issue is that the place on top where you put the larger filter was on so tight that I ended up unscrewing the whole piece from the base and can't get it back in quite right. I eventually got the upper part off only to find it comes with a larger filter already in place. The suction is very good - start on low till you find what works best for you. Otherwise product is good and easy to use Great Machine but where are the directions February 11, 2012 The machine came quickly. It was smaller than I expected? In the box, there was a book of information, but none of which pertained to this particular machine. There was even a peice of paper stuck in the box that said "Since SI-BM02 has the same machine structure, appearance, adn functions as NV-108 described in the manual. Please read pages 9-10 for its basic description and operation. The "manual" tells you what you received and a small diagram of the machine only. It never instructs you on how to set up which I had to spend over an hour trying to figure out myself and while it works very well- for the price I would expect set up instructions for the actual machine that I purchased. When purchased, I think the description said that it came with the spray solution- I got two empty bottles with no clue how to hook up or use.Using with 40% glycolic peels every 7 days and seeing great result! |

Three Star Reviews: | 8% Awful instructions March 16, 2017 Really loved this product but it doesn't explain how everything works. The instructions are pretty bare, and trying to youtube videos was a nightmare. I would say with that combination it was difficult to navigate and I risked really damaging my machine. The picture shown is not exactly how it is put together. Not worth the money, but not a total loss. August 31, 2016 It's an alright machine. Its very bulky and if the company would have let me return it, I would have. Since I am stuck with the machine I give you a review. I have been using this machine for 7 months and have not noticed any real change to my face. My face feels soft after I am done with a treatment, but nothing more. July 10, 2013 I gave it three stars because i dont think it can really compare to the ones you find in a medspa. After using it a few times im just not so excited about it. It does leave my face smooth and clean but as far as acne scars i dont really see the difference yet. May 28, 2016 Received it yesterday and tried it out. Definantly works well, love all the different sized tips and replacement filters it came with. The only problem I had is that the on button is stuck pushed in. To turn it off and on I have to use the plug. Not worth it to me to pack it all back up and return and start over. Could see a difference in my skin in just one use. Clearly I should have waited till I had more money for a better machine :/The misters DON NOT SUCK UP WHAT YOU PUT INT THE BOTTLE. they just blow out air. Mine could be faulty BUT the design looks to my husband and adult kids to have no possible way to disperse they liquid in the bottle... so that makes me wounder about the other reviewers, and how the mister worked for them ~ curious.The tips, will they get the job done well enough but certainly not Spa AND NO WAY med grade.at max the sucking is pathetic and I saw the you tube video they posted ~ NO the suction is not that strong.so for the money yea its a deal... if it lasts more than 7 sessions cuz thats about the equivalent of 2 or 3 spa derma sessions with better diamond tips.Would I have bought it knowing hat I now know ~ YEA I WOULD :)doing my own at home and focusing on the areas I WANT focused on and saving the cash... One Star Reviews: | 12% and dirty. What a disappointment April 25, 2017 Returned this product. When I received this, it was used, and dirty. What a disappointment, I so looked forward to using this. The product received great reviews and I feel that Kendal probably was not responsible for the reshipping of the product but the distributor is the party to blame. I hope I can now find something comparable. USED and pictures to prove it. Received a few hours prior to pictures February 9, 2016 Machine has NO suction, parts were USED and worn. This is advertised as NEW. Received today, photographed today. Oil filter has someone else's skin flakes in it. The hose was already attached to a wand and a very worn our diamond abrasion tip as shown and compared to a less worn (but still used) tip. Going to return for refund immediately. BE AWARE that this is the second one I have sent back. the first was an HBSFo1, and still looked like it had been used, but at least it had suction! I cannot trust this seller, and she is on ebay, too! I tried to order another one, but realized it is the same seller: Shining Image.UPDATE: Seller apologized and gave immediate refund; however, there needs to be accountability for items sold as 'new', therefore, I will not remove my review. Maybe this will help anyone else who has had this experience. powerful suction micro-machine what?? November 19, 2014 I recently bought the kendall hb sf02 and the suction is almost non existent. I put it to maximum and still barely any suction. Ive used a $60 micro machine that has more suction than this one. So I called shining image to discuss this issue and everytime I call I get an answering machine telling me to leave a message. Ive yet to here from them but I will let you know what their response is. I bought this machine because I saw such great reviews about how powerful the suction was only to be very disappointed. Wish I could give it 0 starts July 28, 2013 I thought I had investigated all the home microdermabrasion machines and picked the best according to reviews considering the product and customer service. This machine is terrible. When the filter is in place and on highest suction it still will not do anything to improve skin and register full on the gauge. Stay clear from this. Dont understand why instructions which came with this machine are not clear or user friendly.I followed instructions purposfully and still the suction was very poor. I was very disappointed in this product. It's a dud June 22, 2012 I would love to review the product, but it never worked. I attached the hose and end piece as instructed,plugged it in, flipped the switch and nothing. There is a disclaimer saying it may take a while to warm up because of a rubber flap or something, but I left it for 30 minutes and nothing. I am sorely disappointed and will be returning. |
