I'm considering giving these to everyone in my family for Christmas this year! Someone commented on storage - that best way to store is roll up and put into an empty paper towel roll - great advice - we do that! An empty toilette paper roll is perfect for the small one! I'm glad someone shared that info! Amazing, beyond words..... May 30, 2017 I have never baked with silicone mats before. I've used the standard tin foil and even parchment paper. What an amazing difference! Now I'm looking forward to trying many new recipes, and seeing what these mats can and can not do for me. As an at home cook, I highly recommend these versatile mats. Once you start using them, you WILL wonder how you ever did without them. It works May 9, 2017 This is my designated macaron mat set and I've used it twice; so far, so good. It does what it's supposed to do. I love how my macarons have a uniform flat base when compared to using parchment paper. Cheaper than Silpat. The smallest one doesn't fit my toaster oven but that's OK. Will buy more for future use. Great non stick mats for baking December 13, 2016 Giving this pack of baking mats as a Christmas gift. Chose these because they offered two sizes in the package at a decent price. I expect these silicon mats will perform as well as others I have purchased in the past. Great for baking cookies...no butter or cooking spray needed on the pan. Cookies won't burn on the bottom or stick to the mat. Also keep a separate silicon mat for baking fish or vegetables in the oven. If you haven't tried silicon mats before, now is the time and these are the best! January 21, 2016 Great product, great price - I am a parchment paper fan and finally took the plunge. These are the first silicon mats I've ever purchased. I do a lot of baking and had been watching them for a while. I like how the colors turn darker when hot and turn back to what's picture when cool. Not sure that's even intentional in the design but it helped me know when i could touch it. The sizes fit perfectly in my cookie sheets and you can't beat $3 each! I also like the feel of them. They feel sturdy and don't slide on the sheet, makes clean-up a breeze and no more cutting parchment paper wrong. I'm hooked. Excellent mats! June 22, 2015 These are excellent quality baking mats! For the longest time, I was skeptical of using silicone baking mats in the kitchen, but these proved me wrong. They have NO chemical/silicone odor out of the box or in the oven. I've used these probably 2-3 times a day, everyday since I've had them now (about a month) and they hold up very well. Nothing sticks to them (I've baked cookies, pretzels, chicken, onion rings, French fries, etc etc), and to clean I use a little warm soapy water and my Scrub Daddy sponge to get off any bits. I'm so glad that I don't have to measure and cut foil or parchment paper to line my cookie sheets anymore. The toaster oven size is the perfect size for my smaller oven, and the one I use more frequently. I roasted butternut squash in maple syrup to see how the sheet handled it. It was a gunky mess - parts where the maple syrup collected while in the oven were thick and burnt. After I transferred the squash to a different pan to cool, I started to clean this baking sheet. The darkened maple syrup came off within seconds. I couldn't believe it. I thought that surely the sheet was ruined, but that wasn't the case. It came off just running under warm/hot water in the sink. I did use a sponge with dishwashing soap on the darker/thicker spots, but didn't have to exert a lot of effort to remove the rest. After a couple minutes of cleaning in the sink it looked like it had never been used. Since then, I've been hooked. I love this baking sheet, and am SO glad I bought two. Clean up is easy, and cooking/baking with them is super easy. They're a great size for larger quantities of cookies, or veggies, and have held up really well to regular use. I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend others to purchase to try for themselves. A reliable kitchen workhorse. March 1, 2017 These Nordic Ware pans are kitchen workhorses. I have three sizes in my kitchen now, the quarter, the half, and now the large. They are all made from the same durable aluminum. They clean up beautifully and they last. They heat evenly and beautifully. And, at this price, if you ruin one, you won't cry. I use these for everything from baking, to roasting vegetables, to catching drippings off meats. The large size is especially great for all the sheet pan dinner recipes that have become popular. The larger size ensures that the food won't be overcrowded.One note is that putting these in the dishwasher will alter the color/finish of the pan, although it won't affect it's use. A couple of mine have been run through the dishwashers by others in my house. They aren't as pretty, but still work fine. These sheets are easy enough to clean that I think that it is far easier to clean them by hand. Best cookie sheet ever! November 19, 2016 This is an update of my original review (if I left one). I have had these half sheet pans for about 10 months. I have bought so many high priced "commercial grade" cookie sheets in the past that I hesitated to buy these. HOWEVER... I am so happy with them that I don't think I will ever buy another brand - but also because I may never have to. The attached photo is what they look like today, after heavy use all summer (I sell baked goods every weekend from April through October.) I do always use a cookie sheet liner or a piece of parchment, but even so, I've never had pans look this good after this much use. They clean up like a dream and the NEVER do the "spring" thing in the oven. I can't give 10 stars, so I'll give 5. The only pan I buy now January 1, 2016 Love these pans. I cook and bake daily, making almost all of our food from scratch. And I bake thousands of cookies and lots of brownies and sheet cakes. I used to buy new cookie sheets / baking pans every single year because they would just wear out. And I hated that pop they would make in the oven as they warped from the heat every single time. Not these pans. These pans are gorgeous. Nothing sticks to them but I still use parchment or foil or silicone to keep them beautiful. They are heavy duty, bake and cook evenly, no warping or popping. Keep in mind though, they will get that caked on brown stuff if you use cooking spray and cook on them directly. That's from the spray being baked on over time. That happens with any pan. These pans are so good I still use the baked on pans. I just use those ones when I need a sprayed pan for a meal and I use my beautiful shiny ones with silpats for cookies and such. I will never buy another brand of pan again. Ever. Jelly roll is the size to buy! December 14, 2015 I love the jelly roll size. Two of these fit perfectly in the oven on the rack. They are much easier to clean than one huge pan, plus easier to store inside cabinets. It is very well-made with measurements exactly as described. These are by far the most frequently used item in my kitchen. Quality September 28, 2015 I just bought these from costco at a better deal but they are definitely quality! I did a comparison with my old sheets... Side by side in the oven and used storebought cookie dough (kind that comes in little portioned squares). The cookies on my old sheet started burning on the bottom so I took them out a few minutes earlier than the nordicware. The nordicware cooked the cookie perfectly. they came out rounder and did not start burning on the bottom like the ones on my old sheet. |

Four Star Reviews: | 8% No more sticking! October 30, 2017 Good silicone mats, great for rolling out cookie dough, cutting pastry strips for pies and baking. Easy to wash in warm soapy water and easy to store (just don't fold them). They have a silicone-y smell when you first get them but it goes away after a couple washes. I just wish they came in bigger sizes. So much easier lifting cookie dough off these bad boys. So I'm hoping I will find more uses where it will perform better. June 30, 2017 I bought these mats to save on parchment paper while baking cloud bread--it did stick a bit where on the parchment it doesn't. So I'm hoping I will find more uses where it will perform better. if you don't want to keep wasting money on parchment ... June 8, 2017 if you don't want to keep wasting money on parchment paper this is your answer. Has worked well so far. Works perfectly... some staining. April 12, 2017 These are amazing. Nothing sticks... clean up is a breeze. Saves money on parchment and foil. Stain easily. (Seasonings burn on, no smell tho). The staining doesn't really bother me. Love them. I use them mainly for homemade oil-less French Fries Great product, a tad too big August 17, 2016 These work great! I love that they are keeping my new pans looking nice, and they are easy to clean with just warm soapy water. My only concern is that these say they fit half-sheet and quarter-sheet pans, but they are just slightly too large. They don't fit completely in the bottom of the pan -- one side or another is always going up the edge of the pan a bit (like 1/4" or less). It's not a lot, and it doesn't impact the effectiveness. June 28, 2017 I actually bought this pan, because I bought the Vremi 3 Piece Silicone Baking Mat Set and wanted a new pan that the largest mat would perfectly fit into. I've used it several times already (with the mat) to make keto pizza (chicken crust, cauliflower crust, and fat head crust) and sausage & cheese stuffed jalapenos and sweet peppers. I have not had any problems with it. It's the perfect size for my oven and cooking needs and it cleans up easily and still looks brand new. I'm considering buying other sizes of this brand, if available. Heavy duty half sheet May 26, 2017 I've used the half sheet pan a few times a month for almost a year now, and it still looks good as new. I always line it with parchment or foil before I bake, and maybe that's why it's held up so well. But the pan is very heavy duty, and there's no doubt about that. It's lasted longer than any other pan I've bought in the past. I've used it for cookies, roasted vegetables, bread, even a whole chicken! Everything always browns evenly, and come out the way they should. One star is deducted because when I first got this in the mail, it was heavily dented as I had ordered a heavy cast iron skillet as well. Amazon's poor packaging resulted in a circular indentation in my half sheet from the bottom of the heavy skillet. I wish I had complained about this to Amazon since the dent is very unsightly, but it doesn't seem to affect the heat distribution of my baking. So, other than this minor defect, I'm a happy customer. unexpectedly disappointed...just fyi December 16, 2016 sigh...not the dimensions listed in product description; can only conclude that these pans have been changed to improve profit margin (similat to canned goods that no longer are full size by ounzes, but priced the same or higher). These pans are nearly an inch less wide in width and length than described..they are 11.35 x 8 inches as described on attached label and 1 inch deep. Had hoped for the bit larger size, as I have a spacious counter oven, but won't quite fit a half sheet. Will make do. Of course they are lovely pans, they are NordicWare. Very good and affordable October 23, 2016 Very high quality tray. Will definitely last a lifetime. Wish it had a stainless steel top layer so that it wouldn't scratch so easily (aluminum is soft). I bought "Checkered Chef Cooling Rack Baking Rack. Stainless Steel Oven and Dishwasher Safe. Fits Half Sheet Cookie Pan " and it fits inside this pad perfectly. I really have no complaints for the jelly roll pan ... March 9, 2016 I really have no complaints for the jelly roll pan. It has never buckled. My only real complaint is the marks left behind by the sticky stuff used to affix the label. It leaves a dark mark that cannot be washed or scoured off. Oh, and for those who have never cooked or baked with aluminum from "back in the day", aluminum will scratch when used and it may get "chalky" if run through the dishwasher. That is just the nature of the metal. Cleaning in between prep and baking was easy. The pan is lightweight but very sturdy December 2, 2015 I bought two of these. The first was so that we would have two half sheet pans and another after getting the first and realizing what we had prior was not half sheet. I did not use it to bake cookies, but fried chicken. Wife has celiac disease so I decided to fry up some chicken because she had been craving it. Used the pan and a wire rack in the prep. Worked out well.Used them again to finish cooking the chicken in the oven after frying them. Cleaning in between prep and baking was easy. The pan is lightweight but very sturdy. I'm very pleased to have a fine product manufactured here in the USA. Wife should be baking cookies using these soon! |

Three Star Reviews: | 2% Discolored and Wished They Sold Individuals September 2, 2017 I've had mine for about a week and they work well but mine have become stained after only a couple uses and are completely brown so I'm not sure if that's supposed to happen? It's nice knowing that I'm using something reusable the only thing that worries me is it is discolored.UPDATE: My roommate forgot they can't cut on it and did so so I had to throw mine away. The quarter size is the only one that fits in our oven (we gave the other 2 half sizes away to friends) so I will unfortunately repurchase a silicone baking mat through another seller since I only want the quarter size. I wish they sold individuals! they do maintain a great non-stick surface despite these issues March 16, 2017 The baking mats serve their purpose well but they are incredibly difficult to keep clean. Even after scrubbing them, there will still be a darker tarnish on the mat and a somewhat greasy feel. However, they do maintain a great non-stick surface despite these issues. but discolor easily. Is discoloration a given? June 30, 2015 Nonstick and easy to clean but turning brown starting at the edges after a couple of weeks usage.Update: This is what happened after 3 months. I estimate that I use the small mat every other day usually to reheat pastries and bake frozen foods in a toaster oven. I wash with regular dish soap using a soft sponge. The mat is totally brown and the colored parts are coming off like glue. I can't use the mat anymore as it gives off a plastic burning smell when the oven heats up.Can I get a refund? For the price, aluminum foil is much cheaper though wasteful. But foil might be less harmful in the landfill than these mats as I don't think they are 100% silicone.9/9/2015 Update: I was surprisingly contacted by the vendor offering a full replacement. I will try the new ones and, hopefully, will have better results. Vendor assured that these mats are 100% silicone.9/7/2016 Update: One year later and the big mats are great for cookies & reheating frozen foods in a convection oven. The mats are NOT made for a toaster oven though, as the second small mat I tested suffered the same fate as the first: browning, peeling & cracking of the colored parts. Also, make sure to always place the mats on a solid tray when baking and not one with any perforation as the mat will discolor at the exposed spots. August 11, 2017 I love sheet pans similar this and have owned many in my lifetime. Everyone else I know must love them too, as my supply of five sheet pans had dwindled down to two. I needed more - so I ordered these since they were so well reviewed. When they got here I was really disappointed in two things: specifically they feel a little lighter weight than the ones I've owned in the past, and they have a sizable raised logo that stretches across about a third of the bottom of pan – which is exactly what I don't want – I don't want one more place for gunk to get stuck. Fits Breville Toaster Oven, Nice quality pan, Metal darkens when washed in dishwasher June 11, 2017 This fits my Breville Toaster Oven (Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ, Silver) just right and I like the heft of the pan -- it is the kind that won't warp. My problem is: when my husband accidentally put this into the dishwasher, the metal darkens and now have spots from Silpat that I use on top of it. I don't know if I should toss this away but I wouldn't bake anything without the silpat on it, so I figure my food won't touch the metal directly. For this, I deduct 2 points -- truly, it is very easy to toss everything in the dishwasher and I'm sure we are not the first/last person to have done so. Easily stained and scratched February 21, 2017 Very easy to stain and scratch. These are good trays and they don't seem to warp in the heat, but you have to be very careful to not scratch or stain them. The first time I used one I got a bit of sugary syrup on it in the oven and it burned right onto the pan, it seemed like it was going to be easy to get off but it just didn't come off and the spot remained sticky. Plus while cleaning it (just using sponges) I scratched the tray as well. June 19, 2016 Unimpressed. Mine stained even from hand washing. Doesn't say made in the USA. Guessing made in the USA with foreign metal? Who knows. I still really like these but they don't really stand out to me as top quality. Does the job. I'm not a big cooking enthusiast do not a big deal, was expecting a bit more. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic? NOT Dishwasher Safe March 2, 2016 The pans are nice, decently heavy, and work well in the oven. Unfortunately, I listened to other reviewers who claimed they put the pans in the dishwasher "many times" and had no fading or tarnishing. Have been handwashing them up to this point, but yesterday put the small one in the dishwasher. It is now stripped of the shiny silver coating and is tarnished to a dull grey. Terrible looking and likely unsafe to cook on, so it will need to be thrown away. DO NOT be tempted to put these pans in the dishwasher! |

Two Star Reviews: | 1% They don't last very long, impossible to clean December 21, 2016 This item seems great at first, until you use it a few times. Every time I used it, it got a little dirtier, and even though I was diligent about cleaning it with soap and water, it never really got clean. It collects stains easily, and if the food you are cooking has any grease, oil, or butter in it, it adheres itself to the baking mat, and will never come off. No matter how I tried to clean it, the buildup eventually turned black with repeated use, and I don't feel safe cooking with it any more.The attached image is what the toaster oven mat looks like after about 6 months of semi-regular use.I love the idea of this product, but I wouldn't recommend this brand. Measure before you buy November 3, 2015 Measure the inside of your pans carefully, then check the mat dimensions. I'm having a very hard time finding mats that fit my pans or even finding new pans to fit the mats. I sent these back though I suspect they are quite good mats. Save your money.... October 3, 2015 Browns bottom of bread, rolls and scones too much and causes it to be hard on the bottom and very difficult to cut. Ordered to replace the use of parchment paper but will definitely go back to using the parchment paper. Small holes found after three months of semi moderate/ gentle use. May 10, 2015 I used the little baking mat a lot as of late but no more than any other baking mat I have purchased.The green mat now has a hole on the colored edge revealing the fiberglass underneath along with a few tinier holes.I no longer feel safe cooking on that area because of this.I am very careful with the mat I clean it gently and I never leave it around sharp objects.I only use utensils of soft plastic or wood.Bought 2/19/2015 discovered the hole 5/10/2015 :( SMALL MAT TOO BIG FOR TOASTER OVEN March 14, 2015 The mat that states it fits "toaster oven" is too big for my toaster oven. I'll keep it, but I am disappointed. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet | 3% Started corroding after the first use July 2, 2017 The first thing I cooked on this surface was a batch of 6 tortilla flats with pesto and ham toppings. Upon removing the cooked food, I noticed that the aluminum beneath had turned a rusty brown. I hand-washed it and was able to remove the stains, but they just continued to accumulate from other foods. Now, if I scrub off the brown stains, my wash pad is covered in black residue. The surface of the pan also "springs" when lifted. Considering the fact that I bought these to replace rusty steel sheets on which I could not cook without aluminum foil, this is absolutely wasted money.Never use these without a sheet liner. Not even once. Water gets trapped in the edges! February 16, 2017 I hand wash these in my sink, and water gets trapped inside the folded edges. You can shake it, and it doesn't come out. Nordic Ware also recently changed their company stamp on the sheet pan to a deeper stamp than they previously used. This makes it difficult to remove cooked on oils and fats in these grooves. I like the thickness of the metal, but this new design sucks. Loved it until it warped just over a month of use January 16, 2017 Let me start with saying I loved this pan at first. It was the perfect thickness and baked my cookies evenly. My purchase date was December 8th, 2015. Now, just over a month after ordering my pan SEVERELY warped. I was baking pizza in the oven and placed the pan on hot pads. It immediately warped. It was a pretty expensive pan, so I am disappointed. Overall, it has received excellent reviews, so I am kind of shocked it warped on me. Just a little disappointed. like me, you ordered this based on America's Test ... December 23, 2016 If, like me, you ordered this based on America's Test Kitchen recommendation and link, you will be disappointed. This pan is not the one they reviewed which fit their best rated rack. I ordered both intending to give as presents, but the dimensions of this pan are not as large as the previous half sheet pan, so the rack doesn't fit inside the pan. I attempted to order this directly and via the America's test kitchen site, but the pan that arrived was the 'natural' version rather than the original half bakers sheet. I am really Surprised at how flimsy and thin cover is. Won't be ordering again... July 5, 2016 For Nordic Ware I am really surprised on the quality of the lid for the Baker shEat. The aluminum sheet seems like any aluminum Bakers sheet I've bought from other manufacturers, so there is no difference there. However if you plan on using the cover, which I certainly do, I doubt that won't last more than a few uses! The cover is not even a snug fit on the Baker sheet. When I purchased these at a local restaurant supply store, the cover is certainly a lot more snug, fits the pan a lot better, and will certainly hold up a lot longer than this flimsy cheaply made cover, sorry to say... What used to be for Nordic Ware no longer is.. Shame to say This one I will keep as it is in great need at the moment April 28, 2016 This is the second quarter sheet from Nordic Ware that I have ordered. First one was full of dings and dents so was returned. I've just opened the replacement and it too has a dinged corner. This one I will keep as it is in great need at the moment. No more orders tho of this pan or supplier. I'll go to BB&B and see it in person. Quality control on this pan is awful! |

One Star Reviews: | 1% Silicone 3 Piece Non Stick Baking Mats August 24, 2017 I do not like these mats. They are sticky and WILL NOT MOVE at all. I am not using them for baking. I intended to put them underneath my toaster oven that is sitting on a table with a glass top. Wanted to use them for protection for the glass top but I cannot move my toaster oven a smidgen if I need to without picking it up and it's too heavy for that. I need things to move a little bit. I may return them since I won't be using them. Flawed July 29, 2017 The colored borders can't withstand heat like the rest of the mat as you can see in my photos. I only used them a handful of times. Made in China not USA May 12, 2017 Item description states USA as the country of origin. When I received it, it had a made in China sticker on it! It will be going back. No-Go for Me April 24, 2017 I love the idea, but my cookies no longer bake all the way through. Additionally, some of the cookies were slightly overcooked while others were not done. Damaged July 26, 2017 Opened the set up to find the one on bottom dented. The top one also had stains all along the backside. Hard to clean June 17, 2017 This pan is really hard to clean and stains easily. The first time I washed it there was water spots all over it that would not come out. My food sticks really easily even after I've oiled it the food does not cook evenly on the pan. I have to soak the pan for a long time to get anything off of it.
