Nice product, bought for a Samsung TV in my garage. Not a match, recommend more research before ordering again...

Good quality sound
This is a BARGAIN!
August 11, 2016
This is the first time I've purchased a sound system without hearing it first. I was hesitant, but figured Sony wouldn't disappoint...and I was right! The sound quality is excellent and has real power. The bluetooth feature is especially cool - I have an iPod Touch and streaming from it is the main way I listen to music. Fantastic product, fantastic price.

An Excellent Sound Bar System
May 22, 2016
This is an excellent sound bar system for the price.I was sold this system as part of a recommended "bundle" with my Sony XBR55X810C TV.The leg structure on the TV and this system are not exactly compatible. Rather than it fitting the sound bar under or between the leg system of the TV I had to set it in front and now the sound bar block the remote sensor on my TV. If I had placed the sound bar fully behind the legs of the TV then the remote sensor for the sound bar would have been hidden.
Fantastic Sound From An Amazing System!
May 20, 2016
I really love this sound system! I love Sony's design with the HDMI inputs and output, it makes it simple and easy to hook everything up. The sound is fantastic, the system sounds great no matter what you play on it. Plus the wireless sub-woofer really makes movies and your tv come alive. I have no regrets purchasing this Sony sound system.

This model will not give you a surround sound home theater experience but it is a much better sound than listening to your stand
September 2, 2015
First one I received from Amazon was an open box. Downloaded installation directions from Samsung. Played around with settings only to learn subwoofer was defective. Returned to Amazon and needed to contact seller 28 days later when refund did not show up in my account. Once I got that issue resolved bought a second unit and found it to be working. This model will not give you a surround sound home theater experience but it is a much better sound than listening to your standard TV speakers. I liked the fact that the sub is connected via blue tooth which was one less cable to deal with to the TV. Bass and mid range is very good and can easily fill a 500 square foot room with sound. You can also play music from your phone via Wi-Fi. The sound bar also has a USB connection.
Product works fine if you own a Samsung TV
May 15, 2015
I almost didn't buy this sound bar because all the sporadic reviews practically scared me away. Let me be clear: if you own a Samsung TV, it is literally plug and play ... With the exception of purchasing an ARC capable HDMI cable and plugging it into the HDMI slot on your TV labeled, "ARC."I have the 2015 55 inch Samsung and I didn't hit ANY of the glitches that everyone else is complaining about. Maybe I got lucky, or maybe trying to hook up a Samsung sound bar to a Panasonic TV that's 5 years old, or whatever the below hiccups were, isn't a good idea in general.I also read a lot of reviews saying their current Samsung remotes won't work with this sound bar. Again, mine worked the second I turned it on so I'm not sure what all the fuss is about. The bass is great as far as I'm concerned. Other reviews state otherwise, but I felt it was completely adequate. Just don't expect anything other than a 6 inch subwoofer and you won't be disappointed.
Perfect Fit
March 26, 2015
This bar puts out some sound! I wanted a new audio system that would be less obtrusive than the setup that I currently had. We had a nice surround sound system, but I have never been fond of all the wires everywhere. I would hide them as best I could, but it still was not attractive. I was looking for something simple and yet had great sound for watching movies or tv. This is a perfect fit.It is located on the cabinet that I keep the television on and it doesn't cover up any of the screen. The subwoofer is wireless and lives on the floor next to the tv. The bar was easy to install, I ran one HDMI Arc cable from the bar to the TV and so all of my devices that run into the tv can be heard on the sound bar.I was pleased with the ease of set up and not having cables everywhere. This is a simple work around for me, I know that some others out there would prefer to have their multiple speakers and a super sound system, but that is for them, this is for me. :)
Great sound for enhanced, casual viewing, but issues with ARC compatibility with non-Samsung TVs
February 16, 2015
I'm not an audiophile, but just needed better sound for my new Vizio 70". And, because I didn't mount the device on the wall, I needed a bar that had a small enough footprint (and price point!) to rest on the tv stand in front of the television but not block it (boggles the imagination that Vizio's own sound bar doesn't take this into consideration --- it's about 3 1/2 - 4" tall). I've plugged in my own stuff before for TVs, stereos, and computers, so I personally think the setup is pretty straight forward if you read instructions. And, the sound is great for our needs. The main reason that I cannot give this a 5-star rating is that I could never get the ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality to work and could only get it to work with an optical cable, even after hour-long sessions with both Vizio and Samsung. This is important because without the ARC /HDMI connection, you are forced to use the separate Samsung volume remote to control volume and you cannot use your TV remote to do so. As mentioned, I'm no stranger to electronic setups, and just couldn't get it to work. And, yes. The TV is supposed to be ARC compatible. So, unless you have a Samsung TV you could have the same issues. One caveat --- the only thing I haven't checked is to see if the HDMI cable I'm using for the ARC connection between TV and sound bar is compatible. I'll be checking that in the weeks to come.3/28/15 Update. Woo Hoo! It WAS an HDMI cable issue, and now the ARC function from the Vizio TV communicates with the television and I can use the TV remote now that I'm using a cable that supports ARC. If you check Amazon for "ARC HDMI cables" you will find a ton of inexpensive cables that say they are ARC compatible. I was using an older cable, probably one that did not support the current HDMI 1.4 or 2.0 standards. I am going to upgrade my rating from the original 4 to a 5.
good soundbar, would buy again.
August 31, 2014
I bought this for my television and love it. It is not the loudest system, but for the price, it does exactly what you expect to do. There is plenty of bass, and the options for connections is substantial. I love the bluetooth option to listen to music, but do have to say that the better sound vs the regular tv speakers is great.
Great for a bedroom or small entertainment room
August 11, 2014
The quality of sound is a significant improvement over my tv, Sony Bravia, stock speakers and I love the 3d music effect. I replaced an old component speaker system with this sound bar and I couldn't be happier. I will say my component system could get louder and had a little more bass, but the new system is much cleaner clearer sound. To top it off this new system has freed up my small space of large speakers and their receiver giving me more floor space. I will say that if I had had the money I would have purchased one of the larger watt systems by Samsung like the 750 watt soundbar but that was a little more than I wanted to spend.

Sensational Sound Bar.
June 14, 2016
I was looking to upgrade and rid my living room of a bunch of speakers, and this fit the bill just about perfectly. I'm no audiophile, and I have a small space so there's really no need for a "home theater" set up, so the sound bar was a great option. Sleek, clean, simple, and it sounds much better than the TV speakers. The one criticism I have is that I can't seem to get it to work on anything other than the remote that came with the unit. I've got a Sony TV and a Sony Blu-Ray player and they're like two peas in a pod. Fire up the Blu-Ray and the TV turns on and switches to the proper input. The sound bar? Not so much. It doesn't seem to be communicating with the other components, but that may be due to it being connected by an optical cable rather than HDMI.

Set up is easy and it provides good quality sound for my Samsung TV. Bluetooth pairing with my phone\iPpad\Mac for playing music is great. I'm getting good quality for a great price. If you're looking for high end audio , this isn't for you. But if you want to upgrade from your TV's built in speakers at a reasonable price, you can't go wrong purchasing this
Great soundbar. Easy Setup. One Small Annoying Detail.
March 1, 2015
Night and day difference with this soundbar. Audio is clearer, dialog is more noticeable, and overall I am amazed at what I was not able to notice before. As previous reviews mentioned, the subwoofer is not that great but it does add some depth. For me, its great since I live in a condo and would not want to annoy the downstairs neighbors.I have it hooked up to my UN55H6350 and it integrates perfectly over HDMI ARC. I did not even have to configure it, it self-configured when I turned it on, which is a plus. I can control it via the main TV remote and the cable remote. Volume, power on/off, all works perfectly. I took a star away because of one tiny detail, but its a big one. Since everything is tied together, when you turn the TV on, the soundbar turns on as well, but there is a 5-10 second delay before the audio kicks in, which is annoying staring at the TV with no audio. It even states it in the manual in tiny writing. No sure why they couldnt just take the delay out.If you are having issues getting the soundbar to work over HDMI ARC, make sure you plug it in to the HDMI IN port that supports ARC on your TV. Not sure if all the ports on your TVs support it, but only one port on my TV did, so I had to do some rewiring. The most overlooked part is making sure the HDMI cable supports ARC. The cables that Amazon sells support ARC and they work perfectly.Overall, very happy with the purchase. Excellent buy for the price.
Nice option in place of crap LED TV speakers
February 26, 2015
I recently bought a Samsung 55" LED TV. Awesome TV but the sound is awful! We constantly were turning volume up and down and were having the hardest time hearing dialogue. Our solution, sound bar. I've been researching and listening to various sound bars at my local big box stores and ended up with this Samsung. I originally wanted to go with something on the higher end but I thought this was a nice compromise between price, features, and price.SETUP I chose to wall mount the sound bar beneath my TV. All hardware is included except for the screws to be used to attach mounting brackets to your wall. The template included made mounting fool proof. I am using an optical audio cable between the audio out output of my TV to the sound bar to push audio from all devices to the sound bar. Now I wanted to be able to control the volume using my existing TV remote. Since both of my devices are Samsung, I knew I could use Anynet+ to do this. Wrong. I've tried multiple configurations using both HDMI and optical and there's nothing I could do to get it to work. My TV will recognize the sound bar but that's it. I don't care anymore, I've moved on. I just need to use the remote that came with the sound bar, oh well.SOUND To be honest, this isn't going to blow your roof off. At this price point, you shouldn't expect it to. What it does do is give you nice, consistent sound for your home entertainment system. Mid range is the best I've heard around the $200 mark. Bass response is ok. The sub isn't really noticeable until you have it cranked or are listening to music. The sound setting have enough options to get the sound tweaked to just what you need. In conclusion, for $200, this is a great option to get some decent sound out of your flat screen. I think the $300 range had a lot more impressive options, but is it worth it? Not to me. I would recommend this to a friend.
Great at making sound, does have a few minor issues in other areas
January 22, 2015
Great sound, easy to use, multiple input types (Bluetooth, HDMI, 3.5mm, optical,) wireless subwoofer. It includes some kind of iron donut (called a ferrous toroidal core, which is a fancy way of saying iron donut) which wraps around the power cord of the sub and is supposed to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI.) I can't hear the difference whether it's installed on the cord or not. The downside is that even if you have auto-off disabled, it still turns itself off after a period of disuse. Not sure how long a period yet, but it's not less than 20 minutes. This will not cause it to turn off if it's connected to your phone via BT, even overnight. Does NOT autoconnect via Bluetooth, even if the source is set to Bluetooth. You must go into your phone or other device and manually reconnect. I know this is the soundbar's fault, because my phone auto-connects to several other Bluetooth devices no problem.
Bluetooth issues, but otherwise good speakers
December 29, 2014
Very occasionally (every few days, and for only a few seconds), the Bluetooth will cut in and out and be pretty annoying. I wish it wouldn't happen, but I'm pretty sure it's a common issue with Bluetooth speakers. I certainly don't miss the cable running to our subwoofer, and connecting the speaker itself via Bluetooth allows us to control the speaker with our TV remote. It's a mixed bag, and overall I think wireless wins, I just wish it didn't cut out like that. The speaker is great. The sound is good, loud, and full. The "fake 3D sound" is decent. I wouldn't write home about it, but it does the job. The subwoofer hits pretty hard and sounds great. It's not as powerful as a full receiver with surround-sound speakers, but it's heck of a lot smaller. Plus, I never got around to plugging in our back speakers (and ugh, all those wires) when I had a receiver, so it's probably actually better. For standard home theater purposes, I don't think we need anything better. The big win is that it interfaces with our Samsung TV, and we never have to use its separate remote. It's turns on/off with our TV, and the volume is controlled through the TV remote. It's wonderful.
Good Bang For Your Buck

Product looks nice. Comes with wall mount brackets if you need. Super easy wireless setup with Samsung TVs. It sound pretty darn good for only $230 delivered. Much better than the TV only speakers. I mainly purchased this for my dad. He's hard of hearing and the this setup clearly improves the depth and clarity. Great sound for the price.

Sound quality great - Volume not so much
October 14, 2017
I'm being a bit generous with 3 stars. The sound quality is excellent. The two issues I have is the HDMI ARC connection and the overall volume is disappointing.I got this unit to replace a 40 watt sound bar (with no subwoofer) that produced volume just barely above the TV speaker max volume. For this new unit, being rated at 300 watts, we were expecting to be blown out of the room. Wrong. It just barely matches the output of the old 40 watt sound bar. Although in fairness the Sony unit is a better quality sound, however, I bought it for more volume. My guess is the subwoofer may have around 250 watts (plenty of low tone rumble and explosion volume) and the bar itself is closer to 40 or 50 watts. It will do, but we are certainly not thrilled. As for the HDMI ARC connection, it seems to do nothing. I have it connected from an HDMI ARC port on my TV to the HDMI ARC port on the sound bar. I thought it was supposed to control the volume directly from the TV. Nope. It seems to do nothing. The workaround was I had to use my TV setup to program my TV remote to operate an external sound system (after going through about six different suggested 5 digit remote codes). That did work to allow my TV remote to also control the Sony sound bar volume. The HDMI cable seems to make no difference connected between the TV and the sound bar or not connected.

Sony Sound Bar
April 18, 2016
Very Nice Sound Bar system. I put this unit in our bedroom for our Tv and We really enjoy the improved sounds. Well worth the money for this system if you need a better sound system. THE Reason I gave it 3 star's is, because it took So Long to Get Here. It was in stock BUT, It didn't ship at all for several days and it was over a week to reach me by being shipped USPS....VERY POOR if you ask me. And, I'm a Prime Member too! : (
It's probably good vs its competition, but I just expected more from a sound bar.
February 10, 2016
I did not hear much difference vs the stock speakers in my 4/yr old Sony 48" TV, so I returned it. I was looking for greater clarity / ability to understand people speaking in movies so I can stop using subtitles so much (I really like to hear all the dialogue!), but it didn't deliver much improvement. There was some simulated surround sound, but not great. FYI, my TV is in the corner of a small living room with a 10' ceiling.

March 10, 2015
A friend of mine had bought a Klipsch model with a good result, but I wanted to keep my system "all Samsung." However, after living with this a few weeks I am somewhat disappointed. The bass seems weak and the overall sound quality is only somewhat better than the TV speakers, even when adjusting for the 3-D effects or the type of show. The only exception has been a recent experience with a Blu-ray HD movie. The sound was much fuller and richer, with more bass than I had heard before. Not theater experience, but definitely better than the TV sound alone. I also listen to some of the music channels over cable, but, again, the sound does not knock my socks off. Maybe it is the FIOS signal not carrying enough of the sound dynamics--and not giving the speaker a chance to shine.
It's not bad for a smaller room
January 1, 2015
It's not bad for a smaller room. Keep in mind though that if you have a large spacious room, it probably won't cut it.I bought it for my Samsung UN60H6350 60-Inch TV, merely because of the deal that Amazon had on this soundbar for the post-Thanksgiving sale. And also due to the fact that it was also made by Samsung, as the TV (which didn't work that well -- read cons below.) I live in a small apartment, so it is plenty for my living room, that is about 15 ft. x 20 ft. Plus, I would not want my neighbors to watch TV with me, if you know what I mean.So here's my pros and cons:PROS:- This soundbar has a good balance of sound/base for a small room. (Again, the room I have it in is about 15 ft. x 20 ft.)- It has a wireless subwoofer (which unfortunately needs to be plugged in :) The sub adds a good tone to the sound, although don't expect it to be anything supercool.- The remote is somewhat small and easy to use. (Although it was not compatible with my Comcast set-top box remote that is designed to be all-in-one, so I had to control the sound separately when watching cable TV.)- It is a pretty low-cost solution for an OK sound.- It can connect via a digital audio/optical cable, as well as the HDMI, which makes sound more "crisp", i.e. better than an analog connection.CONS:- The sub, although being wireless needs to be plugged in to the power, so the whole wirelessness doesn't really cut for it.- My main beef is that I was under assumption that if both, this soundbar and my TV come from the same manufacturer (i.e. Samsung) then they will have seamless connectivity, hopefully wireless. Well, I was wrong. Evidently, the multitude of models of TVs and other devices that Samsung makes created an incredible compatibility clusterf88k among all of them. Like in this case, my TV turned out not to be "expensive enough" to allow wireless connectivity with this soundbar. So I had to purchase digital audio cable separately to connect it to the TV.- It did not come with the cables. Seriously, how difficult is it to include the digital audio cable, or an HDMI with it? After I opened it I had to connect it with an old analog AUX cable because there was no digital audio cable included. (I had to wait for an additional week before all the cables were delivered after I had to purchase them separately. I would've loved it if they at least mentioned it in the description.)- It doesn't come with a [decent] amp. Which is OK for most applications, but sometimes when I play movies I have to crank up the volume to the maximum to ensure that I can hear the dialog/speech in the movie. This makes explosions, gunshots, and sound effects way too loud and out of balance. [This soundbar doesn't have it's own dedicated "center channel."]
Worth it on black friday Sale, would not pay full price
December 28, 2014
This was a BF sale item, if I would have paid full price it would not be worth it. the sound is good when volume is turned up. But when the movie or show has dialogue that is low or whisper, its hard to hear and need to turn the volume up, then when the music or crash or action from the movie hits, the sound is loud and needs to be turned down, hard to control. if you are watching a movie loud its no problem, but with a baby its hard to watch that way all the time. You cant really control the setting to much as there is only -3 to +3. The wireless sub is great, but again the bass form the sub is low and can not be felt or heard all the time unless volume is turned up, also depends on location sub is placed. For a room or small area is great and better than the TV speakers. For my living room I will purchase a better higher quality soundbar, i didnt expect much from this and again would not buy for full price, but for my room and for the price its great.
Practical: the price is better than the sound.
December 11, 2014
I think my review really follows what I was looking for.I wanted a simple soundbar that would hook up to my Samsung TV and keep running wires to a minimum. I figured at ~$250 this should be a decent system and look clean.Pro:Mounted easilySyncs with Samsung TV super easylooks good and has a nice narrow sub for a clean setupCons:The sub is terrible. The bass is muddled and the sounds blended together. This is in a fairly small room so and overall the bass is less that desirable. If you are listening to music, not ideal. It does not 'hit' on songs. Changing the settings helps, but don't expect to get a cinema experience or a party sound out of it.There is a huge power brick associated with the SoundBar. So if you have plans to create an outlet behind the bar, scratch that, you basically have to run it through the wall or hide the brick somewhere. The sub cannot be fully unplugged. I thought it would have a cord that detached so you could use the smaller end to run it through a tight fit, not the case (not really a con, but just an annoyance). If you have a Samsung TV, that is the only reason I could see buying this like I did (same remote for volume/power/etc). If not, and you have to run a cable from the TV/receiver to the soundbar, I think there are better options that will give you a much better quality sound.

October 30, 2014
NOTE: There is a NEWER version of these speakers available! I really don't know if there any better, but I would get that model if I could go back in time.Pros: Sub is nice and powerful. Gives my small apartment a GOOD rumble when spamming grenades in battlefield. Crystal clear sound. Not muffled.Cons: The user-interface/configuration options available on the system is extremely limited.
The sound bar itself is great, the clarity and volume are good
October 19, 2014
This system is OK. The sound bar itself is great, the clarity and volume are good. However, the sub woofer leaves a lot to be desired. It is great at louder volume but is barely noticeable at regular viewing volume. This is even adjusting the settings to the sub woofer at maximum volume. However, for just over $200, it is a great improvement over the TV speakers. I have found that the sub woofer placement in the room makes a big difference. But it would be nice to have an actual volume knob on the sub woofer itself.

Low expectations apparently too high (If you're good enough to seek out HDMI switching you're too good for this sound bar)
January 8, 2016
HDMI switching and ARC are great features. Unfortunately that is all you are paying for with the HTCT380. Sound and build quality are awful. The sound is, for lack of a better adjective "tinny" and almost hollow sounding. There is also a bit of a disconnect between the sub and the main channel that slowly drives you crazy b/c you keep trying to convince yourself it isn't there. No matter the changes to audio settings there is no way to make music or voice sound quite right. The main channel's tolerances are fairly low resulting in low vocals causing distortion (too low for main channel, not low enough to send to sub).I would not expect volume leveling at this price point, so I am not complaining that the unit does not have it. However, to solve the issue of "tinny" sounds and disconnected vocals you have to leave the sub level high as well as the bass on the main channel. This ends in barely tolerable vocals and unnecessary moments of wall shaking sound effects and music.Don't do it. Buy any other sound bar without HDMI switching at this price point and you will be satisfied with the sounds quality. In the end accept that you have to pay a premium for both the features and the quality and this won't deliver.

September 30, 2015
Am marking this down based upon the lack of design compatibility. The sound bar blocks the remote control signal for my Sony TV. Placing the sound bar behind the TV means the remote for the sound bar won't work. Seriously Sony have the TV designers and the sound bar designers get together - it can't be that difficult.

... well with this sound bar but Amazon did a great job helping me out of this problem
March 13, 2015
Things did not go well with this sound bar but Amazon did a great job helping me out of this problem. The first one I got worked for a day or two and then the wireless subwoofer started howling like a mashed cat and at a very high volume. Pulling the plug stopped the sound. Amazon, right away, exchanged the unit for a new one. The new one worked fine for three or four weeks and then I got no sound. I checked all of the connection and they were okay. I disconnected and re-connected all of the cables and then the unit would not power up. I check the power supply with a meter and it was fine. I contacted Amazon and they said to send it back. I don't think I will try another Samsung. I gave this unit two stars only because Amazon was so nice to me.

Not very good at all. Good bass but everything else is no better than the factory TV speakers.

The bass is phenomenal but the sound bar itself isn't near as loud as I expected. I have fairly significant hearing loss and have trouble hearing people talk on TV. I bought this hoping it would help but i still have to turn this one way up and it barely gets louder than my factory TV speakers. It has awesome sounding bass but the mids and highs are crap. My friend has a soundbar (granted it's a good chunk more expensive) that I can hear his TV perfect. I was hoping for those results with this one. I fond myself not even using it for normal TV because it's no better than the factory speakers. I use it for movies though just for the nice bass it provides.

The features are simple enough and setup was no problem, but this doesn't sound nearly ad powerful as it professes. Also, with the optical cable the volume seems to drop and raise unexpectedly and I can't figure out why. These are the moments where I wish that I'd bought this in-store. Not to mention Amazon shipped this late, promised me a $10 credit on my next purchase but didn't deliver. Unfortunately a bad experience.
Underwhelmed
December 2, 2014
I chose this sound bar based on the reviews and listening to a similar model in the store. First problem was that it does not include an HDMI cable or optical audio cable to connect to TV. Yes, it does have anynet, but it wasn't compatible with my TV (2010 Samsung Plasma). Set up was simple after a trip to the store to get a cable. The sound is mediocre. It gets louder than my TV, but the richness I was looking for wasn't there. The bass only kicks in at high volumes, so it doesn't add any depth at normal levels. I wasn't even sure it was on most of the time withough checking the lights. I changed several of the settings, including the treble and bass to try to eek out the best sound but had no luck. The movie setting did seem to improve voice sound during TV shows and Movies. It is a nice looking sound bar, the Bluetooth worked great for playing music from my phone, and I like the wirelessly connected bass but overall I was dissapointed and returned the system.

No improvement from sound on my Samsung TV, wasted money
Gave this system two tries and both had problems.

I had to return this thing twice. The first one sent stopped transmitting HDMI video about two weeks after I received it and required a reset to restore HDMI functionality. Additionally, it would drop Bluetooth signal very easily and become distorted, even when the transmitting device was within 15' of the soundbar. The second one I received worked at first as well, but dropped the subwoofer several times for no reason. Then it developed a new problem where it would randomly push the volume to max without touching the remote. At this point I gave up on the product.

This product has failed me. My original purchase I owned for about 1.5 years, when suddenly it just went out while listening to music over bluetooth. I tried other audio methods of input, and nothing. I was then able to find a used soundbar of the same model (I'm not sure the age or previous history of this one) and it worked great for about a year, but once again, the bluetooth just stopped working one day. It says "BT Ready", but my devices can no longer locate it. Since about 50% of my use of this speaker was through bluetooth, it's pretty frustrating, because now I'll need a new speaker (but definitely not another Samsung!)
Buyer beware of refurbished electronics

Caveat Emptor! This product did not work. After installing it, I had sound for 30 minutes at most and then it went into PROT! mode. A very simple online search revealed that this is a common error which indicates that either the unit has fatally overheated or a circuit is destroyed. This unit was supposed to be a certified refurbished item, yet it failed critically. I ended up purchasing a new unit from another retailer with which I am very satisfied. Be cautious about buying refurbished electronics online.

Speaker set is only a step up from free airline headphones. The sound produced from the bar sounds very boxy and not "clean". A similar effect is realized when putting your phone in a cup to magnify the sound. I was really excited to receive the unit, but knew within about an hour it had to be returned. So its back with amazon. I highly suggest if you are in the market for a soundbar to go to best buy and try the wall of sounds bars to see what I mean about the sounds. There is only one soundbar approaching clean sound and its made by klipsch for about $650.
Customer service didn't really care or have a way to fix the soundbar.

Samsung HW-H450 2.1 Channel 290 Watt Wireless - Worked for a week with my Samsung UN75H7150 using "TV SoundConnect". The sound started cutting out intermittently no matter the audio source - BD Player, Netflix, Amazon Prime, Dish. Then the sound bar no longer started turning on automatically when turning on the TV.Samsung customer service was of no help and actually hung up on me. My only friend in this whole thing was Amazon who cheerfully refunded me the money for the product and gave me a replacement suggestion, which I'm anxiously hoping will work a lot better than this piece of garbage.
These have performed great except for

These have performed great except for....They are always discoverable by a Bluetooth device, so if you live close to someone or have pesky kids around you they can hijack your speakers and play music through them at all hours of the night. Nothing short of unplugging the soundbar will stop it.

lot of problems with this system hooked up to a new visio 4x television. needed to buy a 5.2 audio system to have full control of all the acoustics a sound system has to offer. had to return two of these systems until I realized one needs both the tv and sound bar should be the same brand so one satellite remote will turn both on and off. had to use the sound system remote to turn on and off every time you shut cable and tv system. where as a visio sound bar and a visio tv are both controlled by the satellite remote on a optical cable without loosing comunication originally I hooked this unit up with a hdmi cable to creating another problem, and yes they both shut off but turning back on you needed two remotessee my visio posting
