My New Favorite Muffin Pan !!
September 10, 2017
I had been using regular metal muffin tins for a long time. I bought this pan after spending 20 minutes trying to scrub remnants out of my "non-stick" muffin tin. Tried it. Its awesome.I couldn't help but compare it to traditional metal muffin tins, so just a clarification that's my reference point. This was my first time to try silicone bakeware and there are significant differences with the metal pans (some good, others not so much). I followed the instructions and lightly greased each cup with a little bit of oil, and the muffins easily pooped out when I pushed from the bottom. That was truly amazing. Here are my thoughts after baking with it a few times:PROS:CLEANS VERY EASILY. You can see how it compares with my metal tin in the pictures. There's barely any sticking which makes it easy to clean.Muffins just pops out. Any spillage on the pan just bakes and falls off as well.Muffins brown perfectly - just as well as metal muffin tins.Cools More quickly than metal pans.CONS:Very flexible. I had to put it on a metal cookie sheet to take it in and out of the oven easily.I had to increase baking time a bit in order to get a nice brown finish on my muffins, since these pans don't get as hot as metal.Overall, I've had a good experience and I like the silicone muffin pan. I'll definitely be trying out different recipes later on.
Perfect baking with almost no cleanup!
February 28, 2017
Perfect baking with almost no cleanup! I love this especially for cooking mini frittatas for breakfast and they make an absolute mess in a standard metal muffin tin that is really difficult to clean up. These are a breeze to clean! Just give them a quick wash in hot, soapy water with a little swipe of the sponge and you're done! I was so disappointed when my kitten decided to bite a couple of cups and punctured the silicone. At the time, this was no longer available for sale, so I had to buy another brand. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more of these and probably will buy at least one more so that I can cook two sets at a time.
Love it!

I just got this and I already made some egg muffin with sausage, kale, bell pepper, tomato and cheddar😊.I don't really like to bake but I feel like this is going to get me into it.
This is my go-to pan for egg cups. No other pan will survive eggs in the oven.
May 26, 2016
I use this pan to make breakfast ahead of time which always consists of scrambled eggs, sausage and something else. When I used "nonstick" pans the above ingredients stuck to them like crazy. Not so with this silicone pan. Its easily the only pan I use to make egg cups. You must keep a pan under it to keep it stable but that is little to ask and nothing to clean. Cleanup, by the way, is super easy even after 10 uses. If it seems like something is sticking just turn that cup inside out (push from under) and everything will fall off. Quick spray in the sink and its clean. I put it in the dishwasher anyway and haven't had a problem. Rate to 450+ degrees so nothing I do to it will break it. For so many cooking tools silicone is the way to go.
Great for flourless muffins
February 3, 2016
I have used this pan to bake flourless muffins with almond meal in my Breville Toaster oven. I remove the rack while the oven is preheating and load the pan with batter on the rack, then put the rack and pan together in the oven to avoid having to use a cookie sheet. It fits perfectly and bakes perfectly. (Remove them together, too.) These muffin cups are slightly shallower than you would typically see in a metal pan, but it hasn't been an issue, as the muffins rise past the edges. Though the manufacturer recommends greasing the cups first, I found that with my recipe (which contains melted butter) it wasn't really necessary and in some cases made the bottoms of the muffins greasy. When I melt the butter for the batter, I take a silicon brush and quickly brush the insides of the cups - that seems to work quite well. In any case, best results are achieved by letting the muffins cool a little in the pan and then "peeling" them out of the cup by bending the flexible pan sides and "popping" it out from the bottom. The cups will turn almost completely inside out, so this is easy to do once the pan is cool enough. If you don't use any oil/grease, you will have to do it more carefully, as it is likely at least some of your muffins will have portions that stick to the bottom on removal. Clean up is a breeze and I can literally fold the pan up for storage in my cupboard. I am very happy I bought it.
An Excellent Purchase
May 24, 2015
This turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I ordered it because I was told I could bake my muffins without paper cups or even an oil spray. Since we eat plant-based whole foods, avoid processed foods and do not consume oil, this item almost sounded too good to be true. When it arrived and I saw how "flimsy" it looked, I thought I might have made a mistake. But I didn't. I really enjoy using this item. I place it onto a baking pan for stability. I pour my muffin mixture into the respective holes and 22 minutes later voila! Perfect muffins. After they cool, I remove them from this Silicone item and they slide out beautifully, leaving no crumbs. Then the washing process is a breeze. The flexibility of the item allows for it to be folded easily with a rubber band for storage. I am delighted that I bought this and wish I had done so earlier.

Clean up nicely!
May 31, 2017
Learned the hard way you can't put aluminum in the dishwasher. Bought these as a replacement and I will take care of them the right way! I have a 3/4 sheet from Nordicware as well - they feel pretty sturdy compared to other brands of aluminum pans I've purchased. I will say the 3/4 pan warped just a bit and started "bonging" after a few months, but it's really not a big deal. It's not at all to the point where it's making the pan too wavy. I highly recommend the Amazon silicone baking mats!!
FANTASTIC PANS!
December 29, 2016
Love these pans! I was so sick and tired of my cookie sheets, that sometimes tend to pop up on one corner. I have bought so many different kinds and still have never been happy with them, even with using parchment sheets. They never seems to heat evenly. So I saw these and took a chance and bought 2 of them. These pans are heavy. So far we have only used them to bake Christmas cookies. But what a difference. . .these pans distribute the heat evenly and round cookies came out perfectly. We were amazed that we no longer had guess at the length of bake time -- after the first couple of batches, we realized that we could then perfectly time the cooking to exactly 8 minutes per sheet for drop cookies, and 7 minutes for shapes. I will be going back to see if this company make other types of pans out of this same material. Hopefully I can then throw out every pie tin, cake pan, and sheet pan.
Best cookie sheet ever!
November 19, 2016
This is an update of my original review (if I left one). I have had these half sheet pans for about 10 months. I have bought so many high priced "commercial grade" cookie sheets in the past that I hesitated to buy these. HOWEVER... I am so happy with them that I don't think I will ever buy another brand - but also because I may never have to. The attached photo is what they look like today, after heavy use all summer (I sell baked goods every weekend from April through October.) I do always use a cookie sheet liner or a piece of parchment, but even so, I've never had pans look this good after this much use. They clean up like a dream and the NEVER do the "spring" thing in the oven. I can't give 10 stars, so I'll give 5.

The prefect pan to make Texas sheet cakes in!! So glad I finally found the right size I was looking for. I've made 3 different cakes in it and I just love it!!
Jelly roll is the size to buy!
December 14, 2015
I love the jelly roll size. Two of these fit perfectly in the oven on the rack. They are much easier to clean than one huge pan, plus easier to store inside cabinets. It is very well-made with measurements exactly as described. These are by far the most frequently used item in my kitchen.
Cooks evenly, wipes clean easily, nice weight to it, great pa!
November 4, 2015
I bought this pan for making pumpkin rolls. This pan cooks evenly distributes heat resulting in a perfectly cooked cake for my pumpkin rolls!! It's also very easily cleaned! It's a little lighter pan and its aluminum so it did scratch already, just a little scratch, but other than that I am super happy with it!! I might even buy another one because they're the perfect size for my pumpkin rolls and very reasonably priced! If I didn't notice a scratch the first time I used it, I would've given it a 5 star rating!Update: I just made my orange cookies and they cooked soo evenly!!! Every time I've ever made them on other cookie sheets, the bottom was always brown and cooked more! On this pan the bottoms were PERFECT!! They were the same color as the rest of the cookies!! So I am taking this from a 4 star rating to a 5 start!!! So what it had a stratch!!!

Workhorses in the kitchen
March 21, 2017
Love this sheet! I roasted butternut squash in maple syrup to see how the sheet handled it. It was a gunky mess - parts where the maple syrup collected while in the oven were thick and burnt. After I transferred the squash to a different pan to cool, I started to clean this baking sheet. The darkened maple syrup came off within seconds. I couldn't believe it. I thought that surely the sheet was ruined, but that wasn't the case. It came off just running under warm/hot water in the sink. I did use a sponge with dishwashing soap on the darker/thicker spots, but didn't have to exert a lot of effort to remove the rest. After a couple minutes of cleaning in the sink it looked like it had never been used. Since then, I've been hooked. I love this baking sheet, and am SO glad I bought two. Clean up is easy, and cooking/baking with them is super easy. They're a great size for larger quantities of cookies, or veggies, and have held up really well to regular use. I'm really happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend others to purchase to try for themselves.
A reliable kitchen workhorse.
March 1, 2017
These Nordic Ware pans are kitchen workhorses. I have three sizes in my kitchen now, the quarter, the half, and now the large. They are all made from the same durable aluminum. They clean up beautifully and they last. They heat evenly and beautifully. And, at this price, if you ruin one, you won't cry. I use these for everything from baking, to roasting vegetables, to catching drippings off meats. The large size is especially great for all the sheet pan dinner recipes that have become popular. The larger size ensures that the food won't be overcrowded. One note is that putting these in the dishwasher will alter the color/finish of the pan, although it won't affect it's use. A couple of mine have been run through the dishwashers by others in my house. They aren't as pretty, but still work fine. These sheets are easy enough to clean that I think that it is far easier to clean them by hand.

The only pan I buy now
January 1, 2016
Love these pans. I cook and bake daily, making almost all of our food from scratch. And I bake thousands of cookies and lots of brownies and sheet cakes. I used to buy new cookie sheets / baking pans every single year because they would just wear out. And I hated that pop they would make in the oven as they warped from the heat every single time. Not these pans. These pans are gorgeous. Nothing sticks to them but I still use parchment or foil or silicone to keep them beautiful. They are heavy duty, bake and cook evenly, no warping or popping. Keep in mind though, they will get that caked on brown stuff if you use cooking spray and cook on them directly. That's from the spray being baked on over time. That happens with any pan. These pans are so good I still use the baked on pans. I just use those ones when I need a sprayed pan for a meal and I use my beautiful shiny ones with silpats for cookies and such. I will never buy another brand of pan again. Ever.

Quality
September 28, 2015
I just bought these from costco at a better deal but they are definitely quality! I did a comparison with my old sheets... Side by side in the oven and used storebought cookie dough (kind that comes in little portioned squares). The cookies on my old sheet started burning on the bottom so I took them out a few minutes earlier than the nordicware. The nordicware cooked the cookie perfectly. they came out rounder and did not start burning on the bottom like the ones on my old sheet.

I made a batch of chocolate chip banana bread muffins and was so happy when they just pooped right out
September 6, 2017
I think I'm converted to silicone baking items moving forward! I was tired of trying to scoop out muffins, cupcakes, etc from my regular metal muffin pans and bought this after seeing of my fav food bloggers link to it. I made a batch of chocolate chip banana bread muffins and was so happy when they just pooped right out! Could me surprerior (not really) baking skills or these silicone baking tins helped me turn out a batch of perfectly cooked muffins! I'm a fan!
No Oil Needed!
August 9, 2017
I just used this product for the first time to make pumpkin muffins. I didn't grease the cups as instructed. The whole point of silicone, for me, is to not have to use grease or oil. I follow a low-fat whole foods diet. After letting the muffins cool for 15 minutes after baking, I slid a butter knife around each muffin in its cup. They popped out effortlessly -- no sticking. I soaked the muffin tin for 10 minutes. Clean up was super easy because no oil or grease was involved. I merely swiped a sponge in each muffin cup and the residue dissolved. No scrubbing required. I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 because it's so flimsy.
Perfect for baked eggs, easy to clean.
June 9, 2017
These are just awesome if you make the baked egg cups or quiches. The pop right out of the pan, nothing sticks. I had tried making them in a metal muffin tin but it stuck everywhere and the tin was impossible to clean. Silicone is great for eggs! I made some blueberry muffins and I was not as happy with the result. They did not rise as high and they browned on the bottom but the sides and top where white. It also took longer to bake in the silicone pan. I think I will use this pan for egg cups or anything prone to sticking (sticky buns) but stick with a traditional tin for my muffins. Bonus is how easy it is to clean, love that!
These are very good muffin pans
January 13, 2017
These are very good muffin pans, especially for the price. With most silicone pans, they need support to keep them from flopping around when moving from the counter to the oven.I'd recommend these to anyone who makes muffins regularly and like easy cleanup and good heat transfer. The muffins I made (cornbread) came out nicely and evenly browned with no sticking. I used a touch of cooking spray in each cup to ensure easy release. After 200 muffins, these are holding up just fine.
Nifty Pans!
July 16, 2015
I keep a continuous stock of bran muffins in the freezer and eat them for breakfast. I was looking to save money on the muffin cups. I made my first large batch of muffins a few weeks ago after purchasing four of the silicone pans. This was an experiment. I tried cooling on the counter, cooling in the refrigerator and not cooling. Pulling muffins out of the non-cooled pans did not work so well. Pulling muffins out of the refrigerator cooled pans worked the very best. I left the pan in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes after cooking.I noticed that the two center cups did not cook as well so I plan to put a little less batter in them the next time I bake. I also noticed that in general, I needed to cook my muffins a little longer in these cups to fully bake them. Instead of 16 minutes, I cooked them for 22 minutes and they did much better. I did not spray the cups and the muffins cooled in the refrigerator came out of the cups with no problem. Next time I may try experimenting with a non-stick spray vs. the cooling time in the refrigerator to see if it makes any difference. Altogether, I am very pleased with the pans! Summary:Pros: Flexible pans - easy to store. No muffin cups needed. Muffins come out of cooled pans with no issues. Dishwasher (lower rack) cleanup was no problem after removing heavy soil.Cons: Center cups did not cook as well (manageable; not a major issue). Need to compensate cooking time to fully cook muffins.
Not quite there yet
March 15, 2015
Since I purchased this silicone muffin pan, I have used it to make Paleo egg muffin recipes and a Paleo meatloaf recipe. For both of these types of recipes, the pan worked well for me with no non-stick cooking spray. My only complaint is that the pan is floppy and I have to use a cookie sheet under it when I am baking in it. It is a minor inconvenience to have to get out two pans to bake one pan of muffins. If this pan were strengthened in some way so that I didn't have to use a cookie sheet under it, it would be great. However, as it is right now, the pan seems to be a great idea that has not yet been perfected.

Pretty good pans
July 1, 2017
These pans are pretty good. I bake a LOT of cookies and use them often. I haven't found a use for the lids though. I thought I would use them for storing cookies before I decorate them, but I find it better to bag the cookies and store in Rubbermaid containers so they stay fresher. One strange thing I noticed is that they creak when I take them out of the oven and allow them to cool. I've never experienced that with other pans.

I actually bought this pan, because I bought the Vremi 3 Piece Silicone Baking Mat Set and wanted a new pan that the largest mat would perfectly fit into. I've used it several times already (with the mat) to make keto pizza (chicken crust, cauliflower crust, and fat head crust) and sausage & cheese stuffed jalapenos and sweet peppers. I have not had any problems with it. It's the perfect size for my oven and cooking needs and it cleans up easily and still looks brand new. I'm considering buying other sizes of this brand, if available.

sigh...not the dimensions listed in product description; can only conclude that these pans have been changed to improve profit margin (similat to canned goods that no longer are full size by ounzes, but priced the same or higher). These pans are nearly an inch less wide in width and length than described..they are 11.35 x 8 inches as described on attached label and 1 inch deep. Had hoped for the bit larger size, as I have a spacious counter oven, but won't quite fit a half sheet. Will make do. Of course they are lovely pans, they are NordicWare.

March 9, 2016
I really have no complaints for the jelly roll pan. It has never buckled. My only real complaint is the marks left behind by the sticky stuff used to affix the label. It leaves a dark mark that cannot be washed or scoured off. Oh, and for those who have never cooked or baked with aluminum from "back in the day", aluminum will scratch when used and it may get "chalky" if run through the dishwasher. That is just the nature of the metal.
Cleaning in between prep and baking was easy. The pan is lightweight but very sturdy
December 2, 2015
I bought two of these. The first was so that we would have two half sheet pans and another after getting the first and realizing what we had prior was not half sheet. I did not use it to bake cookies, but fried chicken. Wife has celiac disease so I decided to fry up some chicken because she had been craving it. Used the pan and a wire rack in the prep. Worked out well.Used them again to finish cooking the chicken in the oven after frying them. Cleaning in between prep and baking was easy. The pan is lightweight but very sturdy. I'm very pleased to have a fine product manufactured here in the USA. Wife should be baking cookies using these soon!
Great value!
November 28, 2015
Fantastic baking sheet that conducts heat (and cold if left in the refrigerator) amazingly well. I bought the half-sheet and quarter-sheet. Be aware that these items' finish will scratch fairly easily. I accidentally used a heavy-duty Scotch-Brite pad on the quarter-sheet, and the finish is now heavily scratched. However, this does not affect its use - only its look. So, I still highly recommend this product.I do not wash this item in the dishwasher. The product information that you receive with the item says that while you can wash them in the dishwasher, it will cause discoloration but will not affect it's cooking ability. So, if you want a dishwasher safe baking pan that will look brand new after several washings, do not buy this product.

Heavy duty half sheet
May 26, 2017
I've used the half sheet pan a few times a month for almost a year now, and it still looks good as new. I always line it with parchment or foil before I bake, and maybe that's why it's held up so well. But the pan is very heavy duty, and there's no doubt about that. It's lasted longer than any other pan I've bought in the past. I've used it for cookies, roasted vegetables, bread, even a whole chicken! Everything always browns evenly, and come out the way they should. One star is deducted because when I first got this in the mail, it was heavily dented as I had ordered a heavy cast iron skillet as well. Amazon's poor packaging resulted in a circular indentation in my half sheet from the bottom of the heavy skillet. I wish I had complained about this to Amazon since the dent is very unsightly, but it doesn't seem to affect the heat distribution of my baking. So, other than this minor defect, I'm a happy customer.

Very high quality tray. Will definitely last a lifetime. Wish it had a stainless steel top layer so that it wouldn't scratch so easily (aluminum is soft). Very convenient but it isn't as nonstick as expected or describe. This is my first silicon based bake waree so will have to give it a few more chances but I prefer the std bake ware where I can apply non stick
Seems like a good product.

I purchased 2 of these silicon muffin pans and tolerate them.I also bought the OvenArt 12 Cup Silicone Muffin & Cupcake pans and there are 2 notable differences. The OvenArt silicon muffin pans are heavier and stiffer than the Keliwa equivalents. Secondly, nothing I have baked (even egg and cheese based recipes) sticks to the OvenArt pans while pretty much everything leaves some of the cooked item in each cup of the Keliwa brand.
Muffins don't rise as high. But easy release and non-stick
September 17, 2016
I bought this muffin pan hoping for the convenience of non-stick without having to worry about the possible problems w the chemicals in Teflon type pans. After baking with it a few times, here are my thoughts.Pros:Non-stick. Muffins come out easily without sticking. I still use a little bit of non stick spray out of habit, but it's not really necessary.Cons:Muffins don't rise as high as in a metal pan. See picture for the comparison ( I was shocked to see the difference!). The muffins tend to come out kind of flat without the nice high dome and they don't seem to brown as well. Also have to remember to put a pan underneath otherwise you can't move this pan since it's so soft and floppy. I always forget! So my conclusion is to use this pan for things that don't really 'rise ' much but have high potential to stick, e.g individual egg cups, muffin style lasagne cups type dishes. For muffins or baked goods w leavening, I would stick with my metal pans.
- easy to clean - cool down quickly Dislikes

Likes:- easy to clean- cool down quicklyDislikes:- not as firm as I thought it would be (had to put a solid base under the pan to move it into the oven otherwise all the ingredients would spill over)
Good, but not great.
June 30, 2015
UPDATE: since I purchased this I have been harassed with emails by this seller to provide them with positive feedback. They put you on an email distribution list without your consent and the unsubscribe link conveniently does not work!!!I wanted to purchase something that would be easier to clean since I make "scrambled egg white muffins" each weekend for my meal prep. This is great in that it definitely is easy to clean. My old Standard non-stick muffin tin, no matter what I did, would not get clean after several uses. So for that purpose, this has been fantastic. The cons of a silicone muffin pan are: you need to put the pan on a cookie sheet before you pour in your batter or, in my case, liquid egg whites. If you don't, it is impossible to lift without spilling the contents all over the place. Take it from me- I'm still finding egg whites in crevices of my stove I didn't know existed. Another con, my egg muffins have a hint of silicone flavor in them which is really unfortunate. I have to douse them in hot sauce and even still, I can't shake the feeling that I am ingesting silicone somehow. I have not yet used it for actual dough based muffins yet- so it could just be that the texture of egg muffins allow for silicone flavoring... Time will tell....

Caution recommended
October 12, 2017
IF I'm using a silpat mat or a rack for roasting - this sheet pan is fine. IF however, I want to bake directly in this pan - for brownies or a sheet cake, then there are the dings - one of them pretty significant - that need to be considered. And so I always resort to my old sheet pan instead of this 'new' replacement. This is the sort of thing I should have kept in mind before ordering. Sometimes items ordered are pristine & work wonderfully from the get go.. and sometimes you get something FAR from it. This sheet pan is one of those 'far from it' items. I won't buy another sheet pan online, but will shop in a store for a replacement - probably from another brand since I don't know who allowed for a dinged up pan to be sent out in the first place. Disappointed.
The logo is unnecessary and just annoys me!

I love sheet pans similar this and have owned many in my lifetime. Everyone else I know must love them too, as my supply of five sheet pans had dwindled down to two. I needed more - so I ordered these since they were so well reviewed. When they got here I was really disappointed in two things: specifically they feel a little lighter weight than the ones I've owned in the past, and they have a sizable raised logo that stretches across about a third of the bottom of pan – which is exactly what I don't want – I don't want one more place for gunk to get stuck.
Not Good!
June 22, 2017
This would have got 5 stars if not for the dents and there are a few, before purchasing I read in reviews that others have received them dented as well but I figured I might get lucky, didn't happen! The dents are not from shipping so your guess is as good as mine. I would have returned it but for the price its not worth the hassle. This would be a nice product if not for dents but again... reviews indicate many have received this item dented. I would recommend to others looking at this item to look elsewhere, preferably locally where you can actually see the item.
Fits Breville Toaster Oven, Nice quality pan, Metal darkens when washed in dishwasher
June 11, 2017
This fits my Breville Toaster Oven (Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven Breville BOV800XL Smart Oven 1800-Watt Convection Toaster Oven with Element IQ, Silver) just right and I like the heft of the pan -- it is the kind that won't warp. My problem is: when my husband accidentally put this into the dishwasher, the metal darkens and now have spots from Silpat that I use on top of it. I don't know if I should toss this away but I wouldn't bake anything without the silpat on it, so I figure my food won't touch the metal directly. For this, I deduct 2 points -- truly, it is very easy to toss everything in the dishwasher and I'm sure we are not the first/last person to have done so.
Thin Material
November 16, 2016
I am disappointed by how thin this pan is. It's only 20-gauge. While the pan has wire embedded in the rim to prevent or reduce warping, the thin gauge is not so good for even heat distribution. My other sheet pans vary from 12-gauge to 14-gauge.

Easily stained and scratched
February 21, 2017
Very easy to stain and scratch. These are good trays and they don't seem to warp in the heat, but you have to be very careful to not scratch or stain them. The first time I used one I got a bit of sugary syrup on it in the oven and it burned right onto the pan, it seemed like it was going to be easy to get off but it just didn't come off and the spot remained sticky. Plus while cleaning it (just using sponges) I scratched the tray as well.

I still really like these but they don't really stand out to me ...
June 19, 2016
Unimpressed. Mine stained even from hand washing. Doesn't say made in the USA. Guessing made in the USA with foreign metal? Who knows. I still really like these but they don't really stand out to me as top quality. Does the job. I'm not a big cooking enthusiast do not a big deal, was expecting a bit more. Perhaps my expectations were unrealistic?
NOT Dishwasher Safe
March 2, 2016
The pans are nice, decently heavy, and work well in the oven. Unfortunately, I listened to other reviewers who claimed they put the pans in the dishwasher "many times" and had no fading or tarnishing. Have been handwashing them up to this point, but yesterday put the small one in the dishwasher. It is now stripped of the shiny silver coating and is tarnished to a dull grey. Terrible looking and likely unsafe to cook on, so it will need to be thrown away. DO NOT be tempted to put these pans in the dishwasher!

I'm not much of a baker and I wanted to try the latest and greatest kitchen item
July 12, 2017
I contacted the seller when they emailed me about my review of this item. I don't understand the purpose of a silicone product. You still need to oil them and you need a support under these. My first batch had sticking problems, so the muffins didn't come out clean. I went back to my metal pans and liners. I'm not much of a baker and I wanted to try the latest and greatest kitchen item. I like my silicone gloves, but not this product.
- Easy to store - Easy-ish clean up CONS
June 21, 2017
I bought this with the intention of making "egg muffins" for breakfast. I usually make them in a normal metal muffin tin. I was intrigued by the idea of not having to spray/grease the silicone. Here is what I found:PROS:- Easy to store- Easy-ish clean upCONS:- It took longer to cook the "egg muffins" in this than in a normal metal tin.- The muffins never seemed to brown around the edges like they do in a normal metal tin. I missed that.- It didn't clean up as easily as the metal tins do.All in all, it was a fun experiment, but it didn't really suit my needs. It may work great for regular muffins/cupcakes. I didn't try those.
Not a good substitute for the metal baking pans.
November 28, 2016
Yes, you can wash it in a dishwasher but the muffins are not baked as well as they do in the metal ones. I stopped using it after a few times and went back to the metal baking pan and to washing it by hand.
Cool but not realistic
August 21, 2016
I was excited to make my egg bake muffins with this but once I started pouring the liquid into the cups I realized I would have an issue transferring the flimsy pan into the oven. It sounds cool to have a silicone pan that is flexible but I would say it's not very realistic.
Fails silicone pinch/twist test
October 28, 2015
To everyone complaining that this pan is too flimsy and not non-stick... the packaging EXPLICITLY states:-- "Place pan on a baking tray for easier handling & removal from oven."-- "Always grease the pan with oil at every use to eliminate chances of sticking."The follow-up email I received from the seller reiterates:-- "Always place the pan on a cookie/Metal sheet. For easy handling since the pan is too flexible."-- "Always grease the pan with oil when baking to eliminate chances of sticking."-- "Let the muffins cool completely, for them to easily pop out. "So I don't see where the confusion comes from on either of these points. And actually, a quick Google search reveals that silicone bakeware is, in fact, NEVER completely non-stick -- so the instructions to grease before use are totally legitimate. You'd have to do that with any other silicone muffin pan.HOWEVER. That same Google search unfortunately also reveals an easy method for testing whether the silicone in your hand is 100% filler-free (pinch or twist the material, and if it turns white at the crease....that indicates impurities in the silicone). This pan absolutely fails that test.So...the fact that it doesn't hold up to a widely accepted test, yet claims to be "100% BPA-free, filler-free, and worry-free premium silicone" -- for me, it automatically drops this product from a potential of 5 stars to 2 stars at best. Someone's not telling the truth here. I decided to return it for this reason alone. Then as others have also stated, it has a funky chemical smell. Some reviewers say the smell doesn't go away after washing, or that it makes their food smell or taste funky. I personally didn't test this, because I'd already decided to return it for the previous reason. That being said, many others have been perfectly satisfied with the pan and given it a positive review---so it may be exactly what you're looking for, at a price you like. Unfortunately it's just not right for myself and my family.I received this item at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.
They're OK but not great - and NON food-grade silicone. I wouldn't buy them.
October 20, 2015
I bought these to make egg muffins. I love to make up a batch of them with scrambled egg, with onions, tomatoes, sometimes cheese or jalapenos, and they pop right out of the liner without oiling or spraying them. They even brown a bit on the bottom, and them I just eat them like that, or put them on a whole grain English muffin. Baking with these trays is pretty easy, I just put the muffin tray onto a sheet pan for stability, and bake. Cleanup, however, is a bit tricky. Even after a soak in very very hot water for a significant amount of time, my egg muffins still leave film and egg on the muffin cup indentations on these trays. They're OK - I guess. I tried using paper liners for the egg muffins, but then lots of the egg stays on the muffin. I may try using parchment to line the cups in the future. The bigger problem I'm having with cleanup is, since I have to wash the baked-on egg from the silicone and do it very well, even a small amount of dish soap is being retained in the silicone material no matter how well I rinse the muffin tray after washing, making the product possibly taste bad in the future (I don't own a dishwasher - seems the majority of reviews are positive by people who do - dishwashers seem to do a lot more than hand washing some things can). Anyway, so that's just a warning - use less or no dish soap if you must - if this is a problem you encounter, like I did.

Spotted and ruined after one wash!
October 11, 2017
Was looking forward to these pans since they fit perfectly side-by-side in my oven and they have great reviews. But after one dishwashing, they completely lost their lustre & smoothness. Not sure if the protective film came off or what but not the quality I expected when so many customers raved about them.As another reviewer put it "There were map-like spots" after the first wash and they never look shiny again. See pics to see what this means exactly.I still use them even though they look embarrassingly gross, but only because I use them with a cooling rack too, (Stainless Steel Cooling Rack - 10 Inches X 15 Inches Heavy Duty, Commercial, Metal Wire Grid Rack) so my food doesn't actually touch the nasty pans.
Started corroding after the first use
July 2, 2017
The first thing I cooked on this surface was a batch of 6 tortilla flats with pesto and ham toppings. Upon removing the cooked food, I noticed that the aluminum beneath had turned a rusty brown. I hand-washed it and was able to remove the stains, but they just continued to accumulate from other foods. Now, if I scrub off the brown stains, my wash pad is covered in black residue. The surface of the pan also "springs" when lifted. Considering the fact that I bought these to replace rusty steel sheets on which I could not cook without aluminum foil, this is absolutely wasted money.Never use these without a sheet liner. Not even once.

One of them had small dents in it so I didn't feel like I could gift it
May 25, 2017
I ordered these for a gift initially. One of them had small dents in it so I didn't feel like I could gift it. Amazon replaced them and I kept them for myself as the event passed for the gift. When I washed them, one of the sheets appears as though the finish has come off in places. It is a darker gray and not shiny at all like the rest of the cookie sheet and the other one. I am afraid to use it now because I don't know what is underneath the finish. I would replace these, but cannot find a link to do so since these are already replacements. Very disappointed in this product and glad I didn't give it as a gift.
Loved it until it warped just over a month of use
January 16, 2017
Let me start with saying I loved this pan at first. It was the perfect thickness and baked my cookies evenly. My purchase date was December 8th, 2015. Now, just over a month after ordering my pan SEVERELY warped. I was baking pizza in the oven and placed the pan on hot pads. It immediately warped. It was a pretty expensive pan, so I am disappointed. Overall, it has received excellent reviews, so I am kind of shocked it warped on me. Just a little disappointed.
like me, you ordered this based on America's Test ...
December 23, 2016
If, like me, you ordered this based on America's Test Kitchen recommendation and link, you will be disappointed. This pan is not the one they reviewed which fit their best rated rack. I ordered both intending to give as presents, but the dimensions of this pan are not as large as the previous half sheet pan, so the rack doesn't fit inside the pan. I attempted to order this directly and via the America's test kitchen site, but the pan that arrived was the 'natural' version rather than the original half bakers sheet.

Water gets trapped in the edges!
February 16, 2017
I hand wash these in my sink, and water gets trapped inside the folded edges. You can shake it, and it doesn't come out. Nordic Ware also recently changed their company stamp on the sheet pan to a deeper stamp than they previously used. This makes it difficult to remove cooked on oils and fats in these grooves. I like the thickness of the metal, but this new design sucks.

I am really Surprised at how flimsy and thin cover is. Won't be ordering again...
July 5, 2016
For Nordic Ware I am really surprised on the quality of the lid for the Baker shEat. The aluminum sheet seems like any aluminum Bakers sheet I've bought from other manufacturers, so there is no difference there. However if you plan on using the cover, which I certainly do, I doubt that won't last more than a few uses! The cover is not even a snug fit on the Baker sheet. When I purchased these at a local restaurant supply store, the cover is certainly a lot more snug, fits the pan a lot better, and will certainly hold up a lot longer than this flimsy cheaply made cover, sorry to say... What used to be for Nordic Ware no longer is.. Shame to say
This one I will keep as it is in great need at the moment
April 28, 2016
This is the second quarter sheet from Nordic Ware that I have ordered. First one was full of dings and dents so was returned. I've just opened the replacement and it too has a dinged corner. This one I will keep as it is in great need at the moment. No more orders tho of this pan or supplier. I'll go to BB&B and see it in person. Quality control on this pan is awful!

Sticky residue - coating coming off?
September 8, 2016
It worked great for a couple of months and then all of a sudden it seems like the coating was wearing off. I went to go use it again and when I grabbed it there seemed to be a residue on my hands, that is what made me think the coating was wearing off. I tried to wash it in the dishwasher instead of hand washing it like I normally do and it didn't help at all.I stopped using because I was concerned it was no longer safe to use. Is this a known issue??

nope.
January 3, 2016
I was so excited to use this. I read the reviews and answered questions before using and ended up not spraying it. EVERYTHING STUCK. it was awful to get the muffins out - which lead to a terrible washing experience. Also - after putting the batter in the cups, we went to lift into oven and its incredibly flimsy. It wouldn't sit nicely on my oven rack. We ended up having to put it on a cookie sheet, but in lifting it the batter moved all about.Overall not happy with the product. I wouldn't recommend it and would return it if I could.
NOT Non-Stick
October 8, 2015
Product description says non-stick but the product itself and the unwanted marketing email from the vendor both say that it must be greased with oil to avoid sticking.
Not non-stick.
September 7, 2015
Made egg muffins and they stuck on the first try. I didn't oil the pan because that's the whole reason to have silicone. I've never had a problem with silicone muffin cups sticking, so I went back to those. Overall, disappointed.

Gross
October 12, 2017
A friend of mine ordered one of these and I borrowed it and loved it so I decided to purchase one, however it came with some nasty stuff on the bottom I can't wash or scrub off without scratching the pan and it was completely covered in this gross dark black dirt that was really hard to wash off.
This product is a total disappointment
September 23, 2017
I don't understand why this product is so highly reviewed. I ordered it based on those recommendations, however, the product is a total disappointment - not nearly as well made as the reviewers and product maker suggest. Have used it 3 or 4 times and the bottom of the pan is completely scratched up. All I have done to it is wash it, take it in and out of the oven, and store it alone on a shelf. These scratches must be from taking it in and out of then oven, a normal process which all my other bakeware seems to survive unscathed.Furthermore, the pan it self isn't solid. That is to say, the bottom pops back and forth depending on which side you touch, like the pop up button on a bottled drink that let's you know if it's been tampered with. It has yet to bow in the oven but I'm sure that will come soon enough as I have only been using it at 375. I wish I could return it but it is out of date as I only bake once a month or so. I will be sure to recycle it. You have been warned.
Silver residue after washing -- no thanks
November 30, 2016
Sent this back right away. After washing for the first time lots of silver material came off while drying it. After many washes and lots of dry wiping the silver residue persisted.
Lost quality after first wash
September 25, 2016
I bought these because of the high ratings. When i got the item it looked so promising. But, sad to say, after the first wash, it lost it lustre, smoothness and quality. There were map-like spots.
Horrible Product!
August 4, 2016
Horrible product! Used them each once and as soon as I tried to wash the sheets trays with a sponge it turned all nasty grey and tarnished looking as if the coating was coming off or something. They were too disgusting to cook on after that so I just threw them in the trash. Don't buy this product!

Not good quality AT ALL. disappointed
November 9, 2017
I bought these June 25th, I used them once, put in dishwasher because they’re heavy duty aluminum and restaurant quality. It totally messed up the whole sheet pan and it came out like it was rusted. No warning about it on package or anything. I usually have good luck with Nordic Ware but can’t believe this heavy duty sheet pan can’t withstand a home dishwasher.

I bought Nordic Ware because I thought it was superior product. When I received it, it was full of all kinds of awful dents. Seriously? Next time I'll know better.

This pan is really hard to clean and stains easily. The first time I washed it there was water spots all over it that would not come out. My food sticks really easily even after I've oiled it the food does not cook evenly on the pan. I have to soak the pan for a long time to get anything off of it. I will be returning.
