Five Star Reviews: | 53% these work just fine and super cheap compared to the brand name ones February 21, 2015 I've paid over $30 for these in the past but these at a 1/3 of the cost worked just as well. Don't overpay for new blades, these work just fine and super cheap compared to the brand name ones. Save the dough! Works great . July 2, 2014 Works as intended on old shaver from the age when they plugged into the wall and had good power for my beard.I prefer my older razer by Norelco, the newer rechargeable quit after a year so I will be keeping this old one serviced as long as possible. Glad to know I can still get shaving heads if not the older style razers. | 62% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Four Star Reviews: | 18% The rotary blades were fine. The new heads seemed to have an opening ... April 20, 2015 The rotary blades were fine. The new heads seemed to have an opening just slightly smaller than the old heads. I put the new blades in the old heads and my shaver is working just fine. The company shipped quickly. Happy with the transaction. They fit and work March 11, 2014 I was surprised they did not initially shave as well as the old Norelco ones I replaced. They have 'worn in' a bit now, so they shave as well as the ones I replaced. Give them time to 'break in'. review HQ4R Norelco heads June 22, 2013 These replacement heads seem to work just fine, I purchased them to replace old heads on my razor and give to my wife for her legs. They work just fine. I felt the shipping time was a little long, it took over a week to receive, but I'm happy with the purchase. Seem to work as well as other generic blade sets I've bought February 12, 2013 These seem to work as well as any other generic shaver head sets I've purchased in the past and the price was nice. I didn't notice any unusual pulling or rash issues as others have mentioned. I'd buy them again. | 19% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 10% Not impressed September 15, 2016 When replacing heads in the past the renewed "close shaves" were evident. But the latest heads have not performed as well - not much improvement overthe worn out heads that were replaced. Guess I will have to pay double the price to get a good August 16, 2015 These blades don't stay sharp as the original one. Guess I will have to pay double the price to get a good shave SATISFACTORY October 12, 2014 I have an older shaver that still works, so I still keep putting new rotary blades in it now and again. I can't believe the prices they're charging for new electric razors...crazy! Anyway, these seem just OK. Will pull a long hair if they get close to one. Supposedly self-sharpening. Of note, after 10 days of use, the HQ-4 little embossed metal disc fell off one of the heads. Still works fine but a bit odd to have that pop off. I assume some day even these will not be available and I'll do without as my good OLD Norelco will go forever. Not as free wheeling as my Norelco heads May 26, 2014 After cleaning my Norelco shaver thoroughly, I installed the new heads and then applied a drop of household oil to the heads, as directed by Norelco. But I noticed quite a bit of drag. The shave labored somewhat to spin them, and this hasn't ceased. Also, when I take them apart to clean them, the inner blades don't seem to drop into the outer combs with the same freedom as the Norelco ones. However, they do seem to cut well. Not the real thing, but acceptable February 8, 2014 I like saving money. I dislike the extortion demanded by manufacturers to replace worn parts. And I think it's possible to find non-OEM replacement gear that equals the original. But this isn't one of those cases. You'll save a ton. They work. But they aren't nearly as good as what you're used to. Not as good as original heads, but OK December 25, 2010 I'm updating this review, because although I originally posted that they didn't give nearly as close of a shave as the original heads, plus would 'catch' a hair now and then, they've kind of smoothed out and improved since then. Still not as good as the original, but far less cost, so it's kind of a mixed bag. But not bad, really - just takes longer to shave with these. | 14% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 5% Very dull cutter heads October 1, 2017 Dont buy, shaver cutter heads are dull and pull wiskers out instead of cutting! Norelco knoes what they are doing. August 15, 2017 The Norelco 3405 LC replacement heads manufactured by Norelco are vastly superior to these. No wonder, Norelco apparently knows what it's doing. I would definitely have returned the ones I bought for $11.99 had I acted before the 30-day return period. I'm definitely going to pay the difference in price and get the Norelco product!!! Good CD from March 14, 2017 Had to return product-did not correctly fit in shaver. Good CD from Goodmans ... new blades for my older razor would give a better shave, but that's not the case February 13, 2017 I thought getting new blades for my older razor would give a better shave, but that's not the case. The New Blade I purchased take a lot longer to give you a close shave and even taking longer it really is not smooth when your done. I thought at $17.00 plus was a great price for new blades for my Norelco 3405LC, but you get very cheap blades for the money you pay. Don't waste your money on these and pay a little more for some replacement blades. Now I have to pay twice as much for some new replacement blades. Not Always April 28, 2014 HQ4R heads are not exact replacements for HQ4 heads for Norelco 6424LC shavers. They fit, and they work after a fashion, but only with the lightest pressure while you're shaving. Press too hard, and you get a delightful grinding noise. Go with the exact replacements, if you can find them. | 0% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 14% The shaving head does not give a close shave like the original August 12, 2017 The shaving head does not give a close shave like the original. The center round cover on one of the three shaving heads has become detached, fallen off and is lost. I thought I was getting a great buy, but as the old saying goes,"you get what you pay for". I do not recommend this product. Very unpleasant & painful experience. May 14, 2017 Very disappointed in this product. These blades pulled beard hair as I tried to shave. They didn't even shave well - lots of stubble left over. I gave up after a couple of uses and went back to my old blades which did a much better job despite the fact that they're over 20 YEARS old! These new blades stink. Let my pain be your gain and avoid these completely! and I just now installed them in my Norelco razor because my old blades finally seemed dull. They are sharp compared to these "n May 19, 2016 I bought these in 5 months ago to fill out an order to avoid shipping charges, and I just now installed them in my Norelco razor because my old blades finally seemed dull. They are sharp compared to these "new" blades. All I can figure is the workmanship on these is inferior such that the clearance is too great between the shaving blade and the part that touches my face. With the old blades from Norelco, if I shaved over a spot on my face 2 or 3 times, it would be smooth. With these replacement blades, which I have used 6 times, I can go over the spot 10-15 times and it is not smooth. The blades are sharp (no pulling at my whiskers), but the whiskers are never cut to the skin. Enough whisker is left so that within 3-4 hours, I need to shave, and my beard grows very slowly. I do NOT have a Nixon 5 o'clock shadow until the day after I shave. I would not recommend that anyone buy these blades. Spend your money on Norelco blades. I might as well have kept the old dull blades! April 19, 2016 Boooo! As dull if not duller than the ones I replaced them with. Razor buzzed in a strange way while using with these blades. Almost felt like I'd not shaved at all. Tried reseating them in the head 3 times and same results. Razor Burn! May 11, 2012 Buyer beware!!I missed the section below in the description that says that this is not made by Norelco. They put alot of effort into making you think this was a genuine product.Upon first opening there is a terrible chemical smell that only makes you wonder under what conditions this product is made. Worked o.k. for approximately 3 minutes before becoming dull and the pulling and torquing on my skin began. I finished out the shave against my best intuition only to receive horrible razor burn over the next couple of days. Also gave me a terrible case of acne on my lower neck which I never get. Likely due to the fact that the razor did not cut cleanly and caused irritation.Stay away from this product. | 5% There are no reviews yet | 0% There are no reviews yet |
