Surprising good--definitely worth it! Great feel, best value.
September 16, 2017
I was genuinely surprised by these chips. I thought they'd be flimsy or feel cheap, but they don't. We use them many times a week to play Blackjack or poker and they work very well. The chips "feel" so good. We loved that the chips were not marked with monetary denominations (we made them $1, $5, $25, and $100, which seems to be standard for many casinos). The handle on the case is cheap compared to the case itself (which is good for the cost), so the handle could be better. Be cautious when lifting the case by that handle. However, the plastic handle isn't worth docking the product itself any stars.I saw that this set, with a damaged case, was selling from the Amazon Warehouse (or whatever it's called) for $10 less than the new price. The case is very handy, so I would hold out for the new set if you can.Bottom line: If you want decent chips at a great price, go for this one!
Great set for the price.
June 29, 2017
I don't know what the other reviewers have issues with. This set isn't perfect and I'm sure there are nicer chips but for the price it's very very nice. The whole setup is surprisingly heavy with all the chips, they all have a good finish, feel great in the hand and they are more than fine for any home play. I will probably end up replacing the cards with KEM or Copag though for a paper set they are fine, and the chips could probably fit in the case with a bit more wiggle room. But again, for the price this is a very nice set.
Very nice set
February 3, 2017
I decided I wanted to learn to play poker over the summer so I purchased this. The quality is nice, the case and chips are sturdy and reliable. I feel like a boss, rolling into parties with this baby....even with my sub-par poker skills. I'd recommend this to all levels of poker players. I have no complaints about the set and I plan to purchase it again as a gift.
Great buy! Extremely pleased.

Read a lot of reviews trying to find the perfect poker set. Loved the price of this set, but was nervous because many negative reviews talk about quality issues. Took the chance and ordered it, it's everything I could have hoped for. Case was what you'd expect, nothing wrong with it, 2 decks of cards are of a cheap brand, but who cares, that's not why I ordered it. The chips, are absolutely perfect. I love the design more than most chips I've seen, especially on Amazon, and the weight is perfect (theyre heavy, almost magnetic), the texture, the sound as they click together. Played poker with my wife today with the new set and I'm very happy. As mentioned, definintely going to buy a new set of Bicycle cards to go with it but very vey pleased about the poker chips and case. Definitely a good buy.
World Poker Tour, here we come! :)
February 18, 2015
Love these poker chips for the price. My parents used to have one of those round, revolving plastic poker chip trays with a handle on top -- filled with cheap, plastic chips. Great for how we used them when I was growing up.But these chips feel luxurious in comparison! The case is sturdy and the chips sit in comfort in eight trays. The chips are heavy, solid, and feel like real casino chips. They're unmarked so you can assign any denomination to each color that you want. The added bonus of blinds and dealer chips and two decks of cards is nice.So glad we bought these! Can't wait for our first at-home poker night!
High quality chips in a nice case!
August 15, 2014
These chips have a nice, quality feel to them. That may sound silly, but I wanted to avoid the cheapo plastic-y kind. These feel solid, the case is nice to have to keep them organized, and its not a pain to try to get them back in the right spots when you are done using them (some have strange slots that you can only put one chip at a time back, etc.).This set comes with white, red, green, and black/blue chips. it also has markers (large disc/chip) for Dealer, Small Blind, and Big Blind, and two sets of playing cards (one blue, one red, so you can combine them for some games, and easily sort them apart for others). The case is heavy (this is because the chips are high quality). I am very satisfied with this purchase!

Size and shape are just right
November 13, 2016
They arrived very quickly! I needed a second set of cards, because we play a game with four people each using four decks (not simultaneously). It is easier if we each have our own deck to shuffle while another hand is in progress. I wanted decks that were not the typical Hoyle color and pattern, because we have had times when two decks became confused, and it took me a few hours to reconstruct the four deck towers. I haven't used them yet, but they feel solid and new.
Great Value!

Great price for cards that are very well manufactured!
As it relates to Card Throwing.
June 1, 2016
I practice card throwing, and this seemed like a good pack to get a solid amount of cards for a decent price, as I tend to loose or chip a lot of cards pretty quickly.I personally feel these are significantly better for card throwing than the standard Bicycle cards. They're sturdier, hence more aerodynamic. My shots are more accurate and powerful as compared to other cards. For card throwing, I definitely recommend you give them a try. They are, of course, not better than specialized cards made for throwing, but they might be the best bang for you buck when it comes to regular playing cards.
Very nice playing cards
February 13, 2016
These are some very nice playing cards. I bought a couple sets of numbered poker chips but they did not come with any red decks of playing cards; just blue. When I hold poker night, I like to have 2 decks of cards at each table which is 1 red and 1 blue. These are standard index and have a plastic coating. Very good quality in my opinion. However, the corners do bend easily so make sure your players are careful.Only gripe I have is the price as they are a little more than a dollar a piece but I would buy them again when needed.
Great deal for great cards
November 2, 2015
Great cards. Doesn't feel cheap and one pack can last a while. I've been using one pack for over a month (not continuously) but it holds up very well. Highly recommended.
Very impressed
November 22, 2013
Very impressed. In all reality there is no reason for standard playing cards to cost $5 a deck. Having said that, some of the other "budget" cards had some terrible reviews (not laminated or paper-thin), so I was quite nervous with these... no worries.Good solid feel, nicely laminated. The slide nicely on each other.I am a math teacher and use these for in-class activities, hence the need for many decks. If you have a weekly poker night or formalized event, get fancier cards... but for everyday activities, these cards are a great deal

pleased with the time saving!

My husband and I got this as a special treat for the two of us. We were amazed at the quality for the cheap price we paid. It's made of a nice quality plastic and it fits normal size cards. We put phase ten and cards against humanity in it. You simply push the button down at the bottom and it does it all within a few seconds. Saves us tons of time.
Great for all sorts of card decks!
September 4, 2017
While we don't play poker or many suited card games, we do play a lot of board games that have decks to facilitate the mechanics of the game. This shuffler is great for shuffling up those decks while still keeping the cards in great condition. No bent corners or creases. No arching cards or oily prints. And our kids love using it. We've had it for over a year now and it is still going strong.

March 26, 2017
We have used this shuffler for about 4 months without a problem. We are even on the same set of batteries. A shuffler like this is a must when using multiple decks for card games like Hand and Foot! One thing we found is that this machine works best when you place the cards in it face up. The machine grabs them better because of their slight bend. Glad we made this purchase!
Shuffle up and deal
March 19, 2017
We thought we would take a chance on this shuffler and we were very pleased. The shuffler arrived in perfect condition. I did read some of the tips on line and agree that short bursts work better than holding the shuffle button down. There are no instructions, but it is pretty straight forward how to use. We have used it for bridge size cards and regular poker size cards - both worked well.
Amazing for the price.
December 20, 2016
Got this because I was tired of shuffling hundreds of cards for Cards Against Humanity with a standard shuffler and this one can shuffle sooo many at once. This thing is also pretty quiet compared to the standard ones you'd buy at Walmart or Target or whatever and you can actually have conversations with your friends while you shuffle all those cards. I've had it for like 4 months now and it still works great. My only gripe is sometimes the cards get jammed as your shuffling them but that's to be expected. Also didn't like how weird the batteries were, especially because it didn't come with them, so be prepared to order those as well. Overall, pretty great product! If it stops working, i'll probably just order another one because of how cheap it is.

Sturdy shoe with nice smooth heavy roller
December 30, 2015
This thing does the job. The roller is great and has a nice heft on it. The build is nice and strong with very thick acrylic. It is very sturdy.I never dealt from a shoe before, let alone deal fast, but after a few hands, it's a breeze. The one thing to remember is after the game is over, you'll need a ziplock bag for your cards because it's open on top (if you are taking it somewhere). But I like the open top. Buy a card discarder, a chip tray, the green felt and you're all set to deal like a pro.
We take it camping too and it keeps the card nice and neat
November 11, 2014
We're huge card game players. We keep this loaded with 6 decks so that the cards don't have to be shuffled as often. We take it camping too and it keeps the card nice and neat. The front broke loose once and we super glued it back. It's still in great shape and we use it all the time. When this one breaks beyond repair, I'll replace it with the same one if it's available.

Chips are fine for the price; case is subpar.
July 17, 2017
This was an impulse buy on a day this set was heavily discounted. I set my expectations accordingly for this pretty inexpensive set of chips, and I would say that I'm overall pleased with the purchase. The chips are good enough for a casual home game. If you are trying to impress people with your chips, then spend more money for nicer chips. But if you are looking for a set that you can pull out for an impromptu gathering or a home game, this will do the trick. I think the color distribution of the stacks is just fine. The thing I'm not thrilled with is the case. My main issue is that the chips, in stacks of 50 as displayed in the case, do not fill up the entire row for the chips. So instead of the 50 chips fitting snuggly in each of the 10 rows, there is enough room leftover in each row for a few more chips. The liner of the case is very cheap, too.Overall, I was buying this set solely for the chips, and wasn't too concerned about the case, the cards, the dealer button, etc. It met my needs.
Good Chips/ Bad Extra's
December 29, 2016
The chips themselves were excellent, but some of the side items lacked quality. The cards cracked and the corners bent on first use so they were useless. There were chips to designate both the big and little blind people which I feel were un-needed.I would have liked to see some plastic pieces that would go under the cards in each deck to help hide the bottom card of the deck. Other then that it was an excellent set of chips. There were 4 colors and an adequate number of each.
Great Poker Set for the Price
July 11, 2016
Let me start with the case... the aluminum case is rrally nice, but had a couple places where the case wasn't completely pressed together...The inside of the case was pretty nice the chips, 2 decks, and markers for dealer smal and big blind lay semi-nicely into a plastic holder with what seems to be a felt liner on top... the tip of the inside of the case has a nice foam protector...The chips are are decent which is what I expected for the price range of a 500pc set... they are uniformly tound and thick and have some decent weight to them... there aren't any values on the poker chip faces which can be good or bad depending on preference... the chips do have minor flaws where the width of the poker chip faces might be a little ineven with the other chips...For $30.00 this poker set will definitely be satisfactory, but if you want really nice quality chips then maybe keep looking... I give this set a 4/5
If you grouse about the quality of these chips, you probably don't have enough money to be playing poker anyway.
March 4, 2016
After reading a ton of reviews here I figured that, at the price ($35), odds were good that I was going to get a box of 500 serviceable betting disks. I was, in fact, correct. These are not perfect, but they're all uniformly round, of uniform thickness, and have a nice heft to them. They will serve your wagering needs more than satisfactorily. If you're reading the reviews and questioning whether you should buy these or not, ask yourself "when a quality set of 500 poker chips can easily cost upward of $100, how much credence should i really give to someone's review criticizing minor and cosmetic issues with this set of chips?" The answer is "not much."Reminds me of the people at the $3 blackjack table complaining about how others at the table are playing. If you're that great a player, you should be at a higher-stakes table. If you're a poker superstar, what are you doing buying this cheapo set of chips? If you're not a poker superstar, these are the chips for you.For all us regular humans, this is going to be a fine set of chips.
Chips are great. Case is not.
January 27, 2016
This is a great set of poker chips to have around for card night. They are really heavy! No they aren't exactly casino quality. Go to a casino for that. If you're ok settling for slightly less than that and don't expect everything to to be perfect for you (especially at this price) then you'll love them. That being said, you're buying the chips. The case is garbage. It can't handle the heavy weight of the chips inside. The first set I got was totally destroyed in shipping. The second came a little dented. so now I am careful with it at home when I take it out and put it away. If Amazon ships it properly it'll last you for quite a while.
Good Chips for the Price
February 18, 2015
I got this as a gift for my nephew, who is only 9 years old. He wanted to learn poker and I thought this would be a good starter set. That is exactly what it is...a starter set. If you're looking for an opening price point set of "heavy" chips and don't really care about the quality, this is the set for you. The chips are fine, but they are not uniform and the coating on some of the chips was cracked/scratched. The case is lightweight and will likely damage easily, but I really can't complain as the price is right and I'm not that picky. If you're good with decent chips and playing with your close buddies, these are perfect. If you want to feel like you're playing at the Bellagio, spend more on something else.

I am giving these 4 starts as they arrived later than expected so we did not have them for our family camp. Upon returning I opened one of the decks and liked that they had their own box. So I actually would give the cards themselves a 5 but for my purposes this round, it was a waste of money.

Shuffles pretty well, but LOUD!
August 26, 2017
I like the idea of this shuffler but it is LOUD and quite annoying when in use. Also, we really only shuffle two decks at a time and have found that it occasionally leaves cards unshuffled. Perfect for use when we play a card game that requires six decks - takes forever to shuffle those until I purchased this nifty item. The only think I don't like is that it uses C size batteries, which are harder to find and slightly expensive. Finally I discovered that the Dollar store carries them!
Its pretty fast Shuffles the cards well Cons
January 18, 2017
This isn't the most expensive card shuffler you will find, but it works for game night really well!Pros: Its pretty fastShuffles the cards wellCons: Its loud!!It is cheaply made.I don't anticipate this lasting a very long time, but it is good for card games and makes shuffling decks so much faster! Very happy with this purchase and will likely purchase again if this one breaks. Would have been 5 star if the construction was a little more sound.
"must-get" item for card games with massive decks
January 11, 2017
Left it in the common room of my college dorm for one night, and suddenly one of the plastic hooks that holds the transparent tray in place is missing. Mostly just as usable, but the tray no longer stays in place when shuffling. So I can't say much for the durability of this cheap plastic item, but this is near-invaluable if you often play cards against humanity, as it shuffles the massive deck in seconds.
Not bad for the price
February 6, 2016
The springs in the battery compartment kept bending over so they weren't making a very good contact and so it was running very slow. I had to hold them back with a flat screwdriver with one hand while trying to insert the batteries with the other. Tricky. But once I got them in it seemed to work pretty well. A few times the cards got stuck but not bad for the price.

January 16, 2016
I was looking for a card shuffler to use when we play cards at home. I came across this one and figured I would give it a try. It is fast and efficient, but doesn't feel real solid. It is pretty self explanatory on how to use (which is good because no directions came with it!) and operating doesn't take a lot of coordination so the kids are comfortable with using it. It will handle up to six (6) decks which is a lot cards!! It also works with the cheaper cards (paper ones) like go fish, old maid, ect, and with the standard style of card so it really is usable by the whole family.I received this at a discount for my honest and unbiased opinion. Please click the "yes" if this was helpful and thank you for taking the time to read my review!!!!

April 10, 2017
Nice table top poker table. Easily folds away for storage. The only real downfall is that you cannot just open it up and lay it down to play right away. You definitely have to lay it open and give it some time to settle otherwise the ends of it bow up from being tucked away. For the price it definitely does its job.
VERY large!
December 19, 2016
This is HUGE!!! That is the only real drawback as I had to ship and it cost alot. I have a similar one, and I should have looked at the dimensions, because mine is about the same size when open but also about half the size of this one when closed...Not sure how, but it is!

Works but had to adjust
July 19, 2017
Works great, only reason i gave 4 instead of 5 stars was because the weighted roller under the black slide was not in place, after about 3 minutes i managed to force it back into place without breaking it. Now it works perfectly and i highly recommend this for anyone who regularly plays cards! I use for Poker nights with the boys.
Works Great After Small Adjustment
July 10, 2017
Four star only because it needed an adjustment before it would work. Had to do an adjustment on the roller because it would not rotate freely and would not ride down the ramp. Reading other reviews, thought I would have to physically modify something via removing some material from the roller. I found that on removing the roller from the assembly by sliding the plastic "bearing assemblies" up and out, the plastic silver cover on the heavier internal roller was not fully pressed together. This made the roller assembly wider than it needed to be and it caused the fit to be too tight, preventing free motion of the roller. I pressed the covering together, aligned the o-rings (rubber tires for traction), put a drop of lubricant in the bearing for good measure, and reassembled. Works as advertised now.

Good price = Cheaply made.
August 15, 2016
I have purchased poker chip sets in the past, as far back as 2005, and the common theme is that the case is very cheaply made. They are also made differently. At one point I had to go into a billiards store to actually hand hold and inspect and pick out a very nice sturdy case. If that is understood, then this is a good product for the price. The one I received had a plastic insert which had cylindrical rows for the chips to sit in, as opposed to a bar between chip rows. I am not a fan of the plastic insert. Also, the blind buttons were not the ones pictured- not a big deal though.I am however curious about the chips. They feel much more like plastic and not 11.5 grams. I have another set that is 11.5 gram clay composite and they feel different.Overall, this was a gift for a 14 year old so for the price, I am satisfied with it. Unfortunately they skip out on quality in the case to keep the cost down. I would suggest paying more for one in a store that you can physically examine first, or trying a more expensive one online.
Good feel and weight, poor color/graphics quality
April 22, 2016
Bought it based on the reviews that the case wasn't very good but the quality of the chips were excellent. I didn't find that the quality of the chips to be that great. Weight and feel is good. The colors and graphics on the chips on the chips are messy, spotty and blurry. Seems many of them should have not passed quality control. Maybe these are the chips that failed quality inspection and that is why they are relatively inexpensive but it would be nice to know that so I can set my expectation. I don't remember reading that the graphics were subpar in any of the reviews. I personally would have paid more money for chips without this problem however, other chips offered on Amazon did not have better reviews than this item.
Cheaply made but a good set if you don't want to spring for clay chips
March 7, 2016
You definitely get what you pay for with this set.Pros: Great price and have a good weight to them, carrying case makes transporting the chips super easy, has plenty of chips for a table of 6+ peopleCons: The cards it comes with are awful so before you start playing make sure you buy some nice plastic cards, many of the chips have holes in the plastic coating that exposes the metal underneath, there is also a pretty pungent smell on these chips when you first open themOverall this set is worth around $35 so I am happy with my purchase. If you want something nicer go for clay chips.
Okay, but not high quality.
December 2, 2013
The good: if you're looking for a decently-priced starter set (as I was), then it's fine. The chips are clay and feel good in the hand. The bad: the case feels cheap. The handle looks like it might not be able to hold the weight of the case (it's a bit heavy, but it's 500 chips so it's kinda expected). The case come with a set of keys to lock it with, but they're cheap and seem to be just for show--after multiple attempts, I have not been able to lock the case shut. The felt is also cheap; upon inspection, the chips are covered with a black dusty-ish residue that I figured out to be stuff coming off of the lining. The paint job on the chips is decent but a little messy--some of the lines aren't very clean and there are a few chips where you can see excess paint has dried on the ridges. One other reviewer mentioned the color of the white chips; it's true they're not snow-white, but more of a very light taupe or off-white color. This doesn't really interfere with the usability of the chips, so it doesn't bother me as much.I'll update my review once I've used them a few times.
Meh

This item serves its purpose. I ordered it in April, and didn't notice till today, but it did not come with the dealer chip or the blind chips. This is disapointing and I use a candian quarter for a dealer chip. I wish I had noticed that it was supposed to come with them earlier because I would have notified Amazon to see if I couldn't get the chips sent in an envelope or something. That's my fault, not theirs for not noticing. So keep that in mind. The cards are pathetic. I use bicycle brand now, but the cards that come with this are a very thin, paper. It's like they used a printer and standard office paper to print them. The chips themselves are pretty good. There are a couple of the white chips where the blue paint bled onto the white, but I'm not sure if this was a defect, or if perhaps someone set them in water. Either way its a downer. I noticed that after a couple uses, so it might be that somebody set it in a water ring or something so use caution. Over all for the price I'd say grab them, just pay attention to missing items, avoid getting them wet, and buy a couple sets of bicycle cards.
Satisfactory cheap chips with worthless case
March 5, 2012
The case itself is an awful plastic mockery of a real chip case. The hinges on mine look like they could snap any second. But for 500 chips, the price is outstanding. I just need a backup set for larger games, so these go in the closet for occasional use. If that's your situation and you're really careful, then the case will probably hold up for awhile. If you're buying this as your main set, then plan an alternate case strategy. Now, as for the chips, they are OK, but just OK. They match the common dice pattern that a lot of folks have. But they seem like they are a notch down. A few were chipped and the quality is a little "plasticky". I'm used to the soft feel of quality clay chips and you won't have that here. They smell pretty bad out of the box. Like chemicals. But that fades if you air them outdoors for a couple of days.As I said, this is a good backup set, but not a very good primary set.

Quality is fine, just not useful for my purposes
September 22, 2017
I took a gamble (no pun intended) buying these cards. I use them as a base to make Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), which are basically miniature pieces of artwork. Most of the time, I glue other papers/fibers/embellishments to them, or draw or paint on them. Unfortunately, the slick plastic coating on these cards has no texture to it, while many other playing cards do. If the plastic coating has a slight texture, it's much easier to glue, paint, etc. over the surface. To use these for ATCs, I have to cover both sides in gesso, which is a tad labor-intensive and time-consuming. So while there is nothing inherently wrong with these cards, they just don't suit my purpose as I had hoped. I will most likely use the remaining packs as stocking stuffers at the holidays. :)
Not bad
September 9, 2017
Not bad for the price! One deck was cut just a tad bit bigger from the reds, but that's okay. Haven't opened the blues yet. Using a cut card already started to split one edge. I am happy with the choice for now.

The cards are a great size. Bright colors and very sturdy- not at all flimsy. However, I had some complaints that cards were missing from new decks. I brushed it off to those who just didn't win! But after the party I opened up some new unopened(I took the cellophane off) decks and went through them and sure enough they were not complete. There really was no rhyme or reason to the missing cards. So it was a little disappointing.
A little too stiff.
June 29, 2017
Cards are exceptionally stiff, and difficult to shuffle. I haven't opened all of the decks but the 2nd deck has a couple of misprints on the back, which would allow someone to memorize those specific cards. They're still ok for camping and such, but they're still tough to shuffle.

I took this to mean large numbers. The numbers were small. Having eye sight issues just mean I have to look more closely.Size of numbers should be high lighted or darker when describing the cards.

Ordered two - one works, one doesn't
October 31, 2016
Ordered and received two shufflers. One works OK, the other doesn't. Didn't try them both soon enough so the return period had expired by 9 days by the time I tried the second one. My fault. Several issues. Deflection tabs too low not allowing tray to be inserted at the top, card pick up wheels don't pick up the cards and interfere with the tray being inserted, and shuffle switch works intermittently and requires too much downward pressure when it does. Price was OK, though now, for me anyway, it is one shuffler for the price of two. Tsk, tsk, shame on me.
So I thought ordering this would be great. Well it is ok
August 1, 2016
We play Hand and Foot every weekend with my in-laws and shuffling four decks gets to be a pain. So I thought ordering this would be great. Well it is ok. The shuffler runs on "C" batteries which is fine, so i inserted the batteries and got ready to shuffle up four decks. The shuffler is kind of loud so it is hard to talk while it is running. One side seems to feed quicker than the other so that is kind of a pain. We used it for a couple if weekends but now hubby says he would rather shuffle by hand. My in-laws still like it since they have a hard time shuffling so many cards by hand. Would I buy another one probably not, it was cheap enough price wise but not quite the quality and performance I was hoping for.
Okay-but doesn't work without a little assistance
April 4, 2016
Overall I like this product in that it shuffles a large volume of cards easily. However, within a few uses, we had to start holding the part where the cards land as they are shuffled, and gently lower it as the machine shuffled. Failure to do this results in the cards getting jammed. I'd still recommend it if you are looking for an easy way to shuffle a lot of cards, but just know going in that it doesn't function perfectly.
An OKAY product
February 7, 2016
No instructions included, just look at the picture on the box and you'll figure out how to load the cards. Dont expect a good quality product.Does it's job just fine, eventually. I struggled to insert the four "C" batteries required. The springs inside the unit to hold in the batteries are weak, flimsy and are too long, as a result when you insert the batteires each spring that holds in the battery will bend and one or more of the springs will not make a solid contact with one or more of the batteries. My shuffler didn't initially work because there was no contact with one of the batteries. I had to take out each battery and then use a small screwdriver to push down on each one of the springs and then slide in each battery carefully to ensure a solid contact with the spring and the end of the battery. Have used the shuffler a dozen times now, still doing its job.
I'd go for a better quality one if I were to do it again.
January 31, 2016
It does the job, but it does have a couple things I would change.1) It requires a large, hard to get battery to power. I believe it's a D battery. Not my favorite.2) The restraints that hold the plastic door in came off. One of them can't be put back in at all, making the door fall off frequently and need to be held on manually while shuffling.I wouldn't buy it again.
Mediocre quality but still quite serviceable
August 8, 2014
It seems as though quality is very inconsistent for this item. Mine had absolutely no instructions, requiring a little detective work on my part...it's not even obvious without a photo which end should face up! Also, one of the slides for holding the card receiver came snapped off in the box, which didn't significantly impair operation but is a little bit of an inconvenience. Finally, two C batteries does seem a bit excessive in this day and age.Operating the shuffler is pretty simple. You split the cards you want to shuffle into two piles, rest them on the top two trays of the device, and press a kind of finger pedal at the base. Motorized gear wheels slide the two piles together into one interleaved pile. To effectively shuffle any deck, you will have to feed this though a few times, just as you'd have to riffle the cards several times to consider a deck shuffled. The piles should be approximately the same size, or the remainder of the larger pile will not be shuffled at all. So it's not like you push a button and all your cards are shuffled.Despite my complaints, I'd say it's a decent buy for the price I paid ($25). As a player of board games and CCGs/LCGs, I'm more wary of the condition of my cards than your average poker player; a damaged card, for me, could require a purchase of almost $100 to replace it, in the worst case. Since other forms of shuffling are pretty ineffective and I sound like a tool when I keep asking people not to riffle shuffle your precious cards (with dragons on them), something like this serves as a good solution. I recommend this, or one of the nearly identical shufflers available on Amazon, to other board game geeks out there.

Heavy-duty, but trays won't stay in
June 21, 2017
Heavy-duty and high-quality, but the little black trays won't stay in. The little spring-loaded pins that are intended to hold them into their slots aren't substantial enough, so the trays pop out when cleaning or even when just folding the table up to stow.

Shoddy, but sufficient
March 31, 2017
Works for intended purpose but slightly shoddy workmanship when it comes to the paint. It was clearly stacked on other, drying boards because there are small paint stains on the back. Overall it works for what I need though. Maybe try a competitor's product as long as the price is comparable.

January 29, 2017
The table top itself is quite sturdy. Fits perfectly on my round dining table. The chip and cup holders are great. The felt and paint on the felt isn't the best quality and may be prone to peel or flake somewhat easily and the bag feels somewhat weak and like it might rip but for $40 it's not a bad deal at all.
Serviceable, but with a critical flaw.
September 11, 2016
Got this to bring to an annual retreat. Main problem is that it does not include a holder or case of any kind for the 300 chips and 2 decks of cards that it includes. So you are left hanging when time comes to clean up. Going back to amazon for this reason, and I will look for something that includes a case for the chips and cards. But does it have a fair price point considering that it's a complete table top for 8, plus cards and chip all for under $50? Yes it does. I am aware that technically there is a puch attached ot the outside of the included carrying back for the table-top. However, this pouch is not large enough to hold all the chips, let alone the cards and the chips.

Roller under black wedge needs some after purchase work.
February 22, 2017
The plastic parts are ok and work fine. The problem was the roller under the black wedge would not roll down at all. It appears that there is not enough room for the roller to move freely. The plastic tabs holding the roller was putting too much pressure on the roller. What I had to do was to pull the roller out of the wedge with some force and sand down the tabs holding the roller to allow room for it to roll downward and hold the cards in place. Its still does not roll downward perfectly but now acceptable with a slight tap of the whole unit to get the wedge to roll down. Another option after grinding away some of the plastic on the wedge is to raise the rear of the dealing shoe 1/2" to 1" higher and gravity will help the modified roller slide down.
Okay
January 26, 2017
Pros:1. Low price2. Standard sizeCons:1. Cheap plastic2. Transparent shoe that may let players cheat easily. It's okay for home leisure. If game security is your concern this shoe should not be considered.
Too tight?
March 31, 2014
It holds card nicely but I would prefer if the width was wider than it is. When you're holding 8 decks of cards in your hands, it's difficult to get them aligned perfectly so you can put in to this shoe. Few cards will be little bit off from aligned and the dealing shoe will refuse to take them as width is nearly perfect match for the card width.

I ordered two of these, they arrived quickly and well packaged. Opened them up and one worked great and the other did not roll. I returned it and purchased a replacement.mMy replacement arrived and the roller was popped out of the card pusher and did not work. After smashing my finger and hurting my wrist I was able to pop it back in and make it work. Another note the third one I recieved with the popped out roller came all scratched up and has air bubbles in the plastic, looks weren't important for playing the games we used it for but it might be to you.

While a decent set of chips for the price, the case actually came with a broken handle, making it worthless. The case was dented as well, but I don't really care about that. Busted handle makes it the pits.I wouldn't buy it. Can't vouch for competitor's cases, but I'd try one of theirs and skip this one.

January 28, 2017
Poker set is very nice, but it arrived fairly damaged, both ends of the bottom of the metal case were smashed in, and the felt covered plastic was broken into pieces. Not going to go through the hassle of returning it (the sucker is pretty heavy) but I wanted to publicly air my grievances, though of course it's impossible to tell if it was damaged prior to shipping, or during shipping.

July 25, 2016
The case is awful. It really feels like it might fall apart if I just held it by the handle for about 10 - 15 minutes. The corners and seems are all bulging and separated. I give it two stars because the chips were OK. They have a good weight and I didn't see any obvious cracks. Just about every chip has paint and form flaws, but I'm not that picky about them.
Disappointment!
July 18, 2014
I bought his set for my husband for Father's DayWhen it arrived the littleMetal Brackets that basically hold the box together were falling off. Two of them are now completely off the box. And you can not pick it up anymore. The chips starting to chip paint or clay pieces off as well!
Disappointed - Usable, But Not Good
March 8, 2014
Let's start from the beginning. The case is very shoddily made: there were a few cracks on the (what felt like plastic) surfaces, and the metal trimming was bent in several places. The black felt padding on the inside of the case would rub off on the chips, and there was a fairly unpleasant smell about the whole inside. The packaging around the chips inside the case was extremely flimsy. The plastic wrapping around both the black and green chips was already broken upon opening. And, like previously mentioned, the plastic that was intact had black dust all over it from the felt lining of the case. The chips were very dull looking, and the colors weren't as shown in the picture. The red chips were the worst: they were a brownish brick red rather than the vivid red shown in the pictures. The white and green chips were also dull in color. The chips felt light and cheaply made. When running your fingers along any given chip in the set, you are likely to find places where the plastic wasn't properly sanded down after being detached from the rest.Overall, I'm very dissatisfied with this purchase, and plan to return it. In fact I'm not commenting on the cards or buttons as I've not even opened them. This is a cheap poker set. Of course it IS a poker set, so you could certainly play with it if you want. But it's not quality, and certainly not worth the price.
Missing a red chip
September 26, 2012
The box (suit case) was short 1 red chip.... that's incredibly annoying The inside of the case is also built really crappy. The particle board (it wasn't wood) that creates different pockets for the different colored chips was stapled together, except half of the staples missed the mark, and a good portion of the inner slates were too short so there's viable gaps. Long story short, I got annoyingly giped 1 red chip and it's assembled poorly

Our daughter has been getting more and more into board and card games, so we decided that we might want to invest in a card shuffler so she can get involved in helping get the games ready by shuffling them. We purchased this and it showed up two days later (as expected since Amazon is awesome with Prime) but when we got the shuffler, we ended up having to get a refund. The shuffler was clearly not new. so all in all it wasn't a horrible buy. Just very cheap and no instructions
April 4, 2017
Very cheap looking, and came with NO instructions on how to start it. You have to have C batteries, I think, and place one half on the deck on one side, half on the other and then press the plastic level down. Even then it was a 50/50 chance it wouldn't work. Bought it for my grandpa for his birthday since he loves playing bridge, so all in all it wasn't a horrible buy. Just very cheap and no instructions.
You get what you pay for
March 3, 2017
Came cracked. Didn't have instructions. Springs for batteries were way to big to insert batteries without having something else hold them down. Doesn't shuffle evenly beteeen and one side will go down far more quickly that the other.
Wish it was better quality
January 29, 2017
I really needed this as it hurts to shuffle cards with arthritis unfortunately this isn't a very good shuffler. One side will work while the other side doesn't. Cards get stuck in it all the time. If you have help or an extra set of hands holding both sides of cards in while you are pushing the lever at the bottom then it will work sometimes. But don't hold your breath as this doesn't always work without the cards getting jammed sideways in the holding tray either. It uses 4 C Batteries so it can be expensive to run.It is just not a good product.
Think again
July 5, 2016
We used this machine for about six months, no problems other than using to many batteries. Then it stopped and would not distribute the cards evenly from each side. So we gently took off the small plastic window. We discovered the parts in this machine are so thin, you would not believe they did not come apart earlier. The piece inside at either side, for distributing the cards from one side to another is placed together with the tiniest of welds, micro in fact and no way to weld back. Better parts and a higher price to compensate would have made this 6-Deck Shuffler so much better.

The card decks are imitations of Bicycle cards and extremely flimsy and cheap. I can't even use them. In addition to that, the button text ink is smearing off. I was really disappointed in these cards. I've purchased them before about a year ago and and liked them but these cards, while they look the same, are so much thinner than the first order. We play Hand and Foot card game quite often with the family and use 6 decks at a time for the game and use an electric card shuffler. The first order of these cards worked great with the shuffler but these new ones are so thin the shuffler constantly gets stuck because it's grabbing more than one card and a time. If you use a auto shuffler do not get these cards. The manufacturer obviously is cutting corners in quality to increase profit. I'm now stuck with useless playing cards.

A disappointment - won't work
October 4, 2017
I have purchased approximately six card shufflers of this style over my lifetime and have always been satisfied. This last purchase (a gift) is a disappointment. It will not work. I have changed batteries, taken batteries out and reinstalled them, asked it nicely to work, sworn at it - nothing makes it work. Now I have a lemon that is cost-prohibitive and bulky to return for a refund. I suspect the manufacturer is using cheaper materials now.
Worst Amazon purchase ever.
August 8, 2017
Without even a close second this is the worst product I've bought on Amazon. Returned the first one thinking I got the lemon. Found the second one to be just as useless. The gears don't grab the cards hardly at all, so you get no shuffling of the cards. Of the few that do go through, some of them end up sitting sideways in the receiver. I rarely review and have never given below 3 or 4 stars when I do. ... Until now. Don't be fooled by my one star rating, it's not even that good.
Two hands are better than one "non-shuffler"

If you like partially shuffled cards and bent corners, you will love this gadget. After trying to coax this shuffler to perform for about two hours, we finally gave up and shuffled our cards old school. There were no directions included with the packaging. However, I did find a video on You Tube showing how to set it up and operate it but I did not have the same results as the chap on the video. Unfortunately I did not open this product within Amazon's "return widow" or this "non-shuffler" would be on its way back to the shipper.
Piece of Crap
January 22, 2017
I am very disappointed with this. It's so poorly made it's a wonder it didn't fall apart when I removed it from the box. Not to mention one needs two people to shuffle the cards, one to push the on switch, and to hold one side of cards down, while the other person holds the other side down. My four deck shuffler works great, without help from anyone. Makes me wonder "What was I thinking?" when I thought I needed a six deck shuffler.

Chinese junk. It failed to work at all when we got it. I took it apart, compared the wiring to one that was given us that marginally worked - only on the right side. Reglued the tabs and connections and now it seems to work OK. We've now been through two sets of 4 "C" batteries. The one we were given by a frustrated friend still only runs on the right side. It takes two people to operate - a driver and a loader. The loader splits the six decks in half and holds them near the shuffler. The driver presses the run tab and manually starts the left side spinning. The loader then puts the cards in for shuffling.

2x defective, poor quality
July 12, 2017
This arrived with half dozen or more 12"+ folds on left side of table top and 3 on the other, think curtain cutains or pleats. Table was not flat either and had a washed out faded look throughout the entire top to include lettering- that did not mirror ad. The NOT birthday gift item. Serious defect? Used? Will try replacement for decision.* update on replacement.2nd table arrived after delivery delays with bag unzipped and 5" rip in seam. At this point I'm already disggusted. Table TOP is nice but BACK one quarter has a diagonal crease that creates a ridge for that quarter to not sit flat. So. Send back again? Refund and give up? Go back to a walk- in store shopping for things you NEED on time and to work properly because you can't trust Amazon? Too much work on big ticket/heavy items you need now.

Where do I begin. The package was banged up and destroyed. The UPS driver had to warn me that I would fall out of the box due to the tape and box falling apart. The table doesn't sit flat, I can't get it to. The cup holder and chip holder fell out. I'm going to have to fix it and straighten it out in order to even have it sit on a table.
Very disappointed

I was told the item was LIKE NEE.. WITH NO DEFECTS... however the product that arrived to me says other wise
Marks on felt.

Table came in nice package. Opened it up and had white markings on the felt near the seem. Disappointed that I now have to live with it or repack and send back.
Poor Quality
September 19, 2016
The quality of this item is poor. On the back of the table there are tears in the covering. The green felt is also tearing on the top at the seam. The table is not level. I would not recommend purchasing, I am disappointed that we gave this item as a gift.

The roller on the shuttle came broken. It's just not as nice as the ones I used working at the casino and those were pretty bad so....to me that says a lot.
WASTE OF MONEY - DOES NOT WORK!
July 11, 2017
Do not purchase this product. The black shoe doesn't even slide and there's nothing you can do to fix it. It's absolutely worthless. We thought maybe the rolling wheel just needed to be worked in so it could slide but after trying to roll it up and down, the plastic even got scratched and cracked. I read other people had the same problem but was hoping mine would be in good shape. I didn't bother returning it b/c I had thrown out the box and it was too much of a hassle.
Broken out of the box.

The roller was out when I received it and when I put it back in it just falls back out. The posts aren't long enough to stay in the holes to allow it to roll. I mean, I know it's a $10 piece of plastic from China but how do you screw up something so simple?
