Excellent cheques, easy to cut down with good weight ...
May 29, 2017
Excellent cheques, easy to cut down with good weight and sharpness around the edge. Absolute steal. This is coming from a Las Vegas dealer. My only critique would be I think it would be better to have two tubes of green as opposed to the blue. If the blue is to be included, lavender checks would be a better choice to keep up with casino standard.
I really like this poker set
April 2, 2016
I really like this poker set! I was quite impressed when I received it as I was expecting a lower-quality material but was totally the opposite. The cards are not that great but then again you can purchase a better set without paying a lot. The chips have a good weight to them and do the job just fine. This is the complete set, you get two decks of cards, five dice, big & small buttons, dealer button, two cut cards and 500 chips (150 white, 150 red, 100 blue, 50 green & 50 black).I've been using them quite frequently now and so far, they're still just as good as the first time I opened the case.
Excellent Set for the Price
March 15, 2016
I bought these without the intention of using them for poker, but having a separate poker set I was very impressed with these. The weight feels nice, and the chips look sharp. There are certainly a handful of imperfections (printing is slightly off, or discoloration of white chips on arrival) but for standard guys night users I highly recommend this set. Case was slightly scratched on arrival and feels fairly cheaply made, but I have really had no issues with this. I would not recommend for anyone looking for professional grade, but to everyone else this is a great buy.
Chips are nice, heavy
November 30, 2015
No dents in the aluminum case as others have shown (that is a shipping issue, not a product issue). Chips are nice, heavy, solid, and I didn't notice any misprints or smudges. I dropped some a few times from table height onto a tile floor and they didn't chip or split. The cards were decent (and the same color, seriously I don't know why more sets don't do this in case you want to run with 2 decks) and the dice were decent (one had some paint missing on one of the faces). This + a cheap table liner made poker night a $60 investment for me, and now I have a set that will easily accommodate 8 players for years to come. This is your best bang for your buck if you want a set of chips for a decent amount of people but don't want to pay $90 or have shoddy plastic chips.
Excellent chip set
December 28, 2013
Just ordered my second set!I like these chips for several reasons...a) anyone who NEEDS to play with clay chips isn't the laid back type that our crowd likes to play with, we love this game and respect the etiquette expected of serious card players, but at the end of the day, if composite chips aren't good enough...just stay home. So yeah, these help weed out those types, lol.b) they are affordable!c) ordering extra chips in any of 9 colors is easy and affordable (around $6 for a stack of 50). you can tailor your chips to what your game needs (we play outside on warm nights and so using blues and blacks dont work so well as they look the same in low light. To fix this I ordered pink and yellow, so that problem is solved!).d) cut cards are included! I am a prick about flashing the bottom card of the deck, and I insist on using cut cards.A few minor negative things that I can mention are:a) the handle on hte case is a little flimsy feeling. hasnt broken, but I wont be butthurt if it does. I rarely carry this set like a briefcase, so whatever. It holds the chips and fits in the closet...good enough for me.b) the cards that are included suck...just throw em out.c) well, there is no C...I guess that's about it, lol.All in all this is a great set of poker chips. Like I said, I just ordered my second set instead of buying more blues and whites and a case to go with it.They fit nicely in the chip racks that you can buy here as well. We use em and we love em.
5 stars for value, expected quality and service.

I bought two of this item. One was shipped direct to a gift recipient, one was a gift to myself since I have wanted a poker set for years. Reading past reviews I was a little put off about this item but I am more than happy with the set. The set serves it's purpose and is of good quality for the price. It was well packed, nothing missing or damaged and no surprises. Same story on the set I gifted, he was thrilled with it and even called it a "perfect gift" since he is a poker player. The cards included are cheap throw aways as mentioned, but you could use them for a couple few games and I doubt anyone would really care. I bought the sets for the chips, and amazon came through with flying colors. The free shipping was the icing on the cake.

The feel of these chips is perfect and the case is well constructed

The feel of these chips is perfect and the case is well constructed. There is sufficient quantity for 6 players; but can accommodate more if you don't mind "buying" others as the night goes on.

Great item

I bought this for my nephew so he will quit asking me for mine. Great quality, although he doesn't use for poker, but for building things which goes to show the good quality.
Best Price for the high-end quality !!!
February 17, 2016
Just what i was looking for ! and the price is amazing for the wonderful quality of the chips, you really feel the weight, and the sound when tossed or stacked...... the aluminimum box is very sturdy. the interior is made of some kind of a soft black card board. put a sticker on the right side of the case to know wish way to open it, otherwise all chips will scramble, just need to be cautious, i marked mine with nail polish. Definitely recommend !!!
Nice addition to an poker set!
July 7, 2015
The poker chips are ceramic and play well for the set. Although the packaging is less than perfect. You need to be careful with the box it comes in because the chips can spill all over the place. Also this set is extremely heavy to carry. Although overall a nice addition to any poker set.
Nice set
December 19, 2013
I bought this a long time ago, and have used it many times since then. The chips are heavy and high quality. There has been no chipping and the paint has stayed on them. The carrying case is nice, and it is also durable.I use this poker set at least once a week with my sisters. We all love playing Texas Hold'em, thanks to this easy to carry high quality set, playing at one of my sisters houses or my house is super easy. The playing cards it comes with are not great, but I did not buy it for the cards, I bought it for the chips and the convince, and it is VERY convent. If you are looking for a great poker set, that is easy to transport for a great price, this is a good one. This gets 5 stars for being a great all around poker set that is easy to carry, and holds up well under weekly use.

Great set of Poker Chips. Would suggest using different playing cards then what comes with the set.
May 5, 2015
I don't think there's a better deal on the Internet than this set of poker chips. I started a poker club with friends of mine last month, and the set of chips arrived just before our first poker night. The chips are weighted very nicely, and seem to be very durable. During out poker night, we were throwing chips into the pot all night long, and not a single chip was damaged. If I had one complaint about the set, it's that the playing cards are on the cheap side. We easily bent two of the card from the set during our poker game. Not a big deal, as card sets are easy to purchase, and, quite frankly, I didn't buy this set for the cards. Also, the big blind button has a couple of letters not fully printed on one side. Again, no big deal, as the printing on the opposite side is just fine.Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and am looking forward to our next poker night.
Decent chips, decent price.
August 22, 2012
I ordered this set to host Poker nights at the house. I would love to have some high quality, genuine casino poker chips to play with rather than cheap plastic chips that come in a carrousel. These chips -aren't- fancy casino chips. These are decent chips at a decent price and they are -way- nicer than cheap plastic chips. They feel good and have a nice weight to them. They are obviously massed produced in China and the chips have lots of minor imperfections. It's easy to be critical of the details but really, its nothing to worry about. If I continue to host poker nights, I'll buy some nice Paulson chips, but until then these will do great. The case that the chips come in is only barely strong enough to hold everything and will probably fail the first time you try to carry it. For around the house it's fine, just don't use the handle. If you'll be transporting the set a lot, I would suggest buying a better quality case. Other items in the case are barely worth mentioning. The playing cards are amazingly awful and will bend/tear the first time you try and shuffle them. Better cards are available cheap on Amazon. The buttons are functional but you wouldn't miss them if they weren't included.Breaking down the cost, it comes to 9 cents per chip. Casino quality chips online go for between $1.00 to $1.50 a chip. For the money (~$45) I think this set is an excellent bargin.
Great set for the money.
June 2, 2012
This would be a five star set if not for a couple of things:* The dealer, big and small blind chips are sub-par. The printing is smeared on one, and not centered on all. These chips are lighter yet larger then the actual poker chips.* The cards are pretty so-so.* The chips themselves do not match a previous set I bought from the same company in color. They do however match themselves, so if you aren't trying to match a previously owned set, the color differences wouldn't matter a bit.* The dice are too small (or the case is too large for the dice) so they rattle away inside when the case is closed. No big, as who really needs dice for poker anyway? The case is sturdy, and the interior is B-, the chips have a great weight and feel. Good product!
Pretty good, met expectations
August 10, 2011
For a $40 poker set with free shipping, this is very good. Obviously it's not super high quality, if you want real clay chips with no imperfections and high quality cards and whatnot, by all means pay for them, but I wouldnt expect greatness at this price. I did expect a serviceable set that would have everything I needed for casual poker games at home for 4-6 people and that's exactly what this is.It came with everything it came, and I like the distribution: the chips don't have denominations so you can use any that you like, but the typical White-1, Red-5, Blue-10 are what I'm used to and it's generally more helpful to have more of the lower denominations, so 150 white, 150 red, 100 blue, 50 green, and 50 black is perfect. It came with everything else it claims, dealer/blind buttons, cards, dice, case, etc.My case is fine, I can tell it's not the kind of thing that's going to hold up for a lifetime, but it's serviceable and it fits together fine, unlike some of the reviews on here.My only complaint is that the chips all came a little dirty and dusty, nothing 15 minutes and some wet paper towels couldn't fix though. There are minor imperfections throughout the chips but for the price I expected that, and nothing that would prevent me from playing with any of the chips.Overall, it's a serviceable set at a good value.
Great [Frankenstein] Set!
September 21, 2010
I was on the fence about whether to give the set 5 stars for the set itself, which it deserves as long as you understand what you're buying, or dinging the rating to 3 stars for the fact that it looked like this set used surplus parts and was stored next to a dust-producing factory. In the end I went with 4 stars as a compromise. But don't let that detract you from getting this set, if you're in the market for a very good but inexpensive set. And who knows, maybe the condition of my set was a fluke. After all, my case was perfect, which also sounds like a fluke.BACKGROUND:I already had another beginner set that I purchased about a year ago from Brookstone. It only had 400 chips in white, blue, red, and black denominations. The chips had a dice design on them and although they were resin and not clay, they had a very solid weight to them and made enjoyable sounds on the table. But after my last poker tournament, I realized I really needed more than 400 chips to host more than a couple guys. So I needed a new set where the chips would at least look similar to my existing chips, have similar feel and sound, and at least one new color. This set from Da Vinci fit the bill to the tee.PROS:* DELIVERY: relatively speedy with tracking information available* CASE: unlike many other reviewers out there, I inspected my case and couldn't find a single flaw with it. It also looks and feels more sturdy than my existing chip set case. It does come with a set of keys to lock it but I haven't found anyone yet who actually used them. The felt-like dividers in the case are standard for this sort of case, nothing fancy and not super strong, but as long as all you're doing is carefully taking chips out and putting them back in, they'll get the job done.* ACCESSORIES: as has already been mentioned, this set comes with a full complement of dice, two decks of cards (which I haven't opened but I trust the plethora of reviewers who say you might as well throw them away and use your own cards), big/small blind and dealer buttons, as well as a full assortment of cut cards. Maybe I just misread the description, but I was only expecting 2 cut cards in the case but I actually got 5, each a different color. The cut cards are pretty flimsy and not great quality, but most sets don't even come with them so having them thrown in as a bonus, even if they're cheap quality, is still a pro in my book.* CHIPS: ok, this is really why you're buying the set. 500 very decent quality chips. Amazingly, they have the same dice design as my existing chips, so they're a perfect match in design and color. That also means they have the same nice weight and sound. So it's literally the perfect extension to my original beginner set. This set gives me a stack of green chips as well, which really adds more flexibility to your games and tournaments and I now have very deep stacks of whites, reds, and blues to properly host probably up to 12 people if I really wanted to. So yes, the chips are the main reason you're buying this set and I really don't have ANYTHING bad to say about these chips.Of course, just because I don't have anything bad to say about the chips themselves doesn't mean I don't have anything bad to say at all. Read on.CONS:* CONDITION: This is my only gripe about this set. I've never EVER bought a new product that arrived looking used! The really curious thing is that everything looked used or dirty INSIDE the case but not outside. So how does that happen, I wonder?? The cut cards had smudges on them, possibly from the manufacturing process but still. They also had fine scratches on them. Again, probably attributable to their very cheap material and just rubbing against each other in the plastic bag, but still. The dice in my brookstone set were all plastic wrapped in a line. These dice are all loose. The plastic buttons have scratches. My brookstone set had each stack of 50 chips wrapped as a whole. This set has weird combinations. For example, in a stack of 50, you might have two sets of 25 chips wrapped separately, or one set of 30 chips and another of 20. On top of that, the plastic wrapping over most components FELT dusty. In some cases I could see a fine film of something, probably dust, but not on every component. Overall, the impression I got was that these sets were using left over parts, returns, etc to make whole sets. I don't know if that's actually what they're doing, but that's the only way I can explain the haphazard, random wrapping of stack denominations, loose dice, smudged and dirty components. Now, that being said, even though the chips are wrapped in weird numbers and the plastic wrap might feel or look dusty, the chips themselves are fine. And since I got 5 cut cards, even if some are smudged or scratched, they are still usable. So end of the day, even if this is a Frankenstein set and they are using all the leftover parts from other sets, manufacturing surpluses, returns, etc. it still doesn't detract from the nice chips, getting 500 of them, in 5 color denominations, in a case that should be sturdy enough for regular intended use, at arguably the best price (cost + free shipping) on all of Amazon.CONCLUSION:Knowing what I know now about this set, would I still buy it again? Absolutely. The fact that the chips are nice quality and match my existing chips makes it worth every cent I paid for it, probably even more. It has a nice assortment of extra accessories thrown in. The case arrived in PERFECT shape for me. So for what I needed, it's exactly what I was looking for. I could have spent 3X as much on clay chips and a handsome new wood chip box and quality cut cards, only to have the chip colors be slightly off from mine and have a different design, and feel and sound different. So my situation is probably a bit unique. But as long as what you're in the market for is a very complete beginner set, and you aren't worried about trying to match this set to a different existing set, then this will answer the mail for you and I highly recommend it.ONE LAST THOUGHT:Another reviewer already mentioned this but I think it bears repeating. If this does become your beginner set, you'll probably someday want or need more chips, be it to deepen your existing denomination stacks, or add new colors for added flexibility in games. At that point, rather than being in my position of trying and hoping you can find chips that are close enough to your existing chips, Da Vinci already sells additional chips in this exact design, in the same basic colors as well as a number of additional colors (yellow, pink, purple, etc). So you can always add on to your set without having to worry about mismatching your chips. That's a REALLY nice bonus.
Good quality chips and a decent case.
July 13, 2010
I am very satisfied with the chips. 500 is a good number and the distribution of the denominations is decent, and I got what was advertised (actually, my set came with one extra chip). While chip design is very basic (as you can see from the pictures) they do look nice. No dollar values are printed on the chips themselves so you can set your own values. Some of the chips have minor imperfections, such as the colors straying outside the proper pattern (or not completely filling it) or bits of plastic/resin sticking out from the chips from where I assume it was injected into the mold (which can easily be filed off with a fingernail). One of the white chips looked scuffed or dirty on one face. At this price (less than 9 cents per chip) I can easily tolerate these very minor problems, as most of them won't be noticed unless you're looking for them. I haven't weighed the chips, but I suppose 11.5 grams sounds about right, and that is enough weight to give the chips a good heft -- any heavier and it would just make the set more inconvenient to lug around. I can't really compare the texture or sound of these checks to ones made of clay, as I've never been to a casino or played with clay chips, but they feel OK and sound almost identical to what I hear on TV when watching the pros play poker.Like the chips, the case is basic but serviceable. I bought from amazon.com and it arrived in perfect condition, from what I can tell. I can't really say how durable the thing is, but it seems like it ought to be able to survive normal use for a good while. The latches can theoretically be locked by a pair of keys that come with the set, but I couldn't get it to work and don't really care one way or another about that. The buttons are nothing too remarkable, and they perform their requisite duty of sitting there and providing information. I haven't really examined the included playing cards very closely, but looked and felt like they were of fairly low quality. I like that the set came with cut cards ... it's a cheap inclusion and they are nothing fancy, but they are also something that a casual player like me wouldn't have thought to go out and specifically purchase. Six translucent, red six-sided dice complete the set and its theme, which are just basic, board game quality dice (normal sized, pipped, and not machined or precision-edged or anything).Overall, I consider this a decent/value purchase at $42.95 shipped. My friends and family (none of whom are gamblers or card players) were all pretty impressed by them and we've had a good time playing with them so far. This is one of the best sets you can buy for home/casual play, it seems. Fancier checks are available at a similar price if you want (or don't mind) the fact that values are printed on them, however.

Good poker set to play with your friends and family
October 8, 2016
Good poker set to play with your friends and family. Case is not the greatest but as long as you don't throw the case around it should last awhile. There is a lock for the case I can not seem to get it to lock at all, it just spins in a circle with the keys. Over all It comes with Chips (good quality) two decks, with a dealer, big and small blind coin. It works and looks great for small poker get together events. I'm happy with the purchase.

This is a great buy. The chips are high quality. The aluminum case is good. (not the greatest, but works. However the inside of the case is pretty crappy. The plastic that holds the chips together is cracked. I may have to fix it at some point with some tape. You also get a big blind, little blind, and dealer chip, which also seem good quality. And you get a deck of "OK" cards.I bought this for the chips so i am not too mad about the cracked and broken plastic in the case. But that is the only reason i did not give it 5 stars.NOTE: The plastic Hoyle cards and casino dice in the case do not come with this. I bought this in addition to this set and use this case to hold them too.
Great chips. Bad cards.
March 3, 2015
The chips in this set arestandard, and much like all the other chips that my friends have purchased. When new, the chips are a little gritty/grippy, but I expect that to go away once people use it more and oils naturally seep in.Car is nice, set is compact. One star off for cheaper quality cards in the set. I bought a Bicycle pack after their first use, since it was very flimsy. Functional though!
Great chips, decent exterior case, shoddy crap inside the case.
January 28, 2015
The chips are fantastic, but the inside of the case is junk. The exterior of the case is fine but the inside is made of the cheapest and thinnest plastic available. When it arrived, it was already broken during shipment. Since I knew from previous reviews that this was a common issue, I went ahead and kept it instead of going through the hassle of returning it.

Contains defective chips. Shame on you Amazon
July 5, 2017
Three star review as I believe this product should be listed by Amazon as "seconds" as in rejects!I have not gone through all of my chips and with that being stated, I would guess that 90% of the chips are perfect. The chip is designed so that the number of dice from 1 to 6 is stamped on them. With some chips the stamping is off and not placed where it should be. This does not affect the chip other than someone in "quality assurance" should be pulling the defective chip and not selling the set to Amazon. Also, the set comes with two decks of cards. I was not enticed to buy this set so as to receive the two decks, however, during the first use of these decks, one card became bent. We bent it back, began playing, and within minutes that card separated into two sheets, one on top of the other as it was now two cards and not one. (junk)That said, the chips are fine for the money paid. The case is OK, however, the metal used is too thin for the length of the case.OK, perhaps 3-1/2 stars.
Case good, VERY thin insert holding chips inside
December 14, 2015
The case itself was solid and in good shape. The interior plastic insert that holds the chips is VERY thin and seems to crack easily. My first order was packaged horrible by Amazon, so it bounced around and may have cracked that way. I returned it for another, and again, the next one was also cracked, not as bad, but still. I decided to keep this one, mostly because I think it may just be a matter of time before the insert just cracks again since it is very thin.
The chips and accessories are presented very nicely, comes in a neat looking box
April 26, 2015
Da Vinci 500 Poker Set:Pros:The chips and accessories are presented very nicely, comes in a neat looking box. Comes with a lot: cards, dice, small blind, big blind, and dealer cards, etc.Cons:The Quality is far less than stellar. The chips seem okay, but have scratches, debris, and dust all over them. The case came slightly stretched and although many of the components are metal it is defiantly poorly made. The cards are very thin and poorly made, and the small and big blind cards are very low quality and the ink is faded.Overall: Not great and would defiantly not recommend for 60 dollars including shipping. If you can get cheaper (50 and under) than a good buy.
Take a risk, try modification, or return...up to you.
January 2, 2015
So, I bought this to increase my poker chip collection as I often hold games at my house of 10 or so people. When this arrived, it was packaged nicely and undamaged. The weight of the package was expected for the amount of chips and case. When I opened the shipping boxes to reveal the metallic case and chips, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the case. It appeared study, had a nicely reinforced edges and corners as well as a well constructed handle and locks. It appeared to be ready to hold the chips it came with. Once I opened the metallic case, I was greatly let down. First thing I noticed was the liner which holds the chips did not fit the case. It was significantly smaller than the interior of the case. This resulted in a major gap in usable space with an exposed "base" of the case. Second thing I noticed is that the clearly visible spray adhesive used did not hold the chip liner in place. After I attempted to modify the liner for my needs, I gave up and tossed it out, using nothing to keep my chips organized. Thirdly, the liner itself I'd made of flexible plastic with a black velour like material. This was easily broken and quite fragile. Mine was busted when I opened the case. The fourth thing I noticed is the blind and dealer chips that come with this set do not have adequate printing and the text was partially off the chips before we even started using them. Finally, my case closed with extreme difficulty as the top and bottom of the case do not completely align. It takes great effort with and without the chips in it to close. Overall, this case has more negatives than positives however the case itself is very sturdy and does its job for me. Even after attempting self-modification, I had to dispose of the liner. The spray adhesive is exposed however does not effect the chips because the adhesive never really worked anyway.
Be careful about Quality.
December 26, 2013
Not sure if it is Amazon Packing or the Manufacturer - However I received two in a row with damaged cases or missing pieces. The chips are GREAT - I doubt real clay, but well built, feel heavy, and are printed well. The blind and dealer chips are also very useful (however I had to buy a "Small Blind" chip. The chips are the only redeeming quality - the locks on the case don't close well after day one, and the cards are throw away. Essentially you are buying the chips. The set isn't bad, just inspect it when you get it.
Awful quality control. (Updated)
May 25, 2010
First off, the chips, which is what most of you will be buying this item for, are of good quality. They're nice and heavy and make a nice sound. That said, the rest of the set is pretty abysmal. The cards are your run of the mill cards, very average. I went ahead and invested in a few decks of KEM plastic cards before buying this. The dice, dealer buttons, and cut cards are all acceptable. Nothing extraordinary. The buttons and cut cards feel a bit cheap. The metal case is the worst offender. Mine wasn't properly aligned so closing/locking it properly is a pain in the neck. Inside, the pseudo-black-velvet base (the thing that holds the chips and cards) is already falling out and bent in certain places. The base also does not fit the case properly, and an unappealing "bald spot" runs down the left side. The rest of the deck is also somewhat damaged. A few chips have white spots due to the colored parts falling off. The small blind button has quite a few scratches (I suspect the other ones do as well, but their color makes it negligible). Finally, the case has a small dent on one side, about the side and depth of a quarter. The value of this set is nowhere near $120. Even $40 would be pushing it.The box the set arrived in is in perfect condition, so I'm ruling out shipping problems.I bought the set from ChipsAndGames.*Update*I've received my replacement set from Amazon (Amazon's support is great). The replacement set didn't have any of the obvious defects, but the overall quality is still a bit iffy.Once again, if you're looking to buy nice poker chips and the rest is just a bonus, this is not a bad deal.

Okay the cards and the inside of the case are crap but the chips and the outside of the case are really nice. Since it is a SET, half of the SET is not good, hence 3 stars for "it's okay". If the inside of the case wasn't cheap busted-up plastic and the cards didn't look like children would play with them then this would easily be 5 stars.
I like the chips and the case
March 11, 2016
I like the chips and the case! However the chips holder is very well CHEAP!!! Yes I mean the black plastic that keeps chips in place also for the price I would include better cards! The stock are horrible and low quality! However, does the job
Cheap case
February 26, 2015
The inside of the case was broken when it got here and some of the chips were loose (I hadn't opened anything when I took this picture), so I won't be using the case. Even if it hadn't been broken, it's pretty cheaply made and smells like sharpies. I'm keeping the set because I like the chips and don't want to go through the hassle of returning it, but I'll need to find something else to store the chips in.
Low price, low quality
February 25, 2015
The "aluminum" case is quite flimsy and it's alignment is slightly off when closing the case. The interior plastic molds for the chips and cards are likewise flimsy. The chips themselves are pretty good - solid, weighty, and a good variety of colors. I can't tell what they're made of however. Overall you get what you pay for, as the price is lower than most other full sets.

Poor Qulaity ControlFor playing poker this set would be fine but I was hoping for something a little nicer. The features on the case do not line up when closed and the chips were not all the same color. Three packages of the red chips were different shades of red. Several packages of chips were already split open and very dirty when i received them. I am returning this set of chips since i bought a cheaper set at target. At least the set from target had chips that were the same color.
Returning it

Didnt even take it out of the box. Opened one end and their was a HUGE dent in the case...going back
Case arrived broken
January 19, 2014
The case arrived broken as a result of poor manufacturing. Would not recommend this unless you do not care about the super cheap case. Also it is HUGE and extremely heavy.
Cheap and plastic-y
December 3, 2013
The chips and blind tiles felt really lightweight and cheap. Definitely do not feel like clay. Unfortunately I'll be returning or selling these.
Poor Quality
December 20, 2012
The quality of the case is poor. It does not close well. And there seems to be poor structural integrity of the case. Some of the chips are dirty or damaged somehow?

The box was heavily damaged, corners were dented. Looked like someone dropped the cardboard box it's in 20 feet. Hopefully I can exchange this.

Ordered 2 and both came broken. Chip tray was cracked and broken.
Not worth a shot!!!!

Aluminium case is not that good. Chips were dirty and finishing quality is poor. Internal packing is not same as show in picture, gaps can be easily seen. Overall not a good experience.
OK if you know you're probably getting "B-grade" inventory.
February 2, 2015
I bought a set for my father a few years back. They were good. Nicely weighted. Good color. No problem. We recently needed chips for a party. We got these chips. Nicely weighted. Good feel and sound. But our product seems to have come from the B-grade inventory of quality control inspection rejects. The seller should say that. Two serious problems: (1) the case insert and (2) dull color. The case insert is made from paper thin plastic. The plastic insert I'm talking about is the plastic molding that organizes rows of chips neatly in the case. Ours was shattered when we first opened the case. I went to the trouble of getting heavy duty packing tape to reinforce the tray from the underside. It works for now, but when that tray fails we will have a complete mess of chips inside the case. That's not good. The second problem is the color. The set we got my father (same company I believe) was better. The whites were whiter. The chips that we received are dull looking. The whites are bluish-grey. The blues and blacks are dull and "ashy" to the point that players get confused between black and blue chips under normal lighting.Like I said, we needed the chips and had to use them. The chips do feel good in terms of texture and weight. But I cannot recommend this product.
cheaply made

Very disappointments with the quality of this ser. The felt liner in the case was coming apart and plastic under the felt was cracked. That is what happens when things are made in China.

Case damaged, but shipping box was okay. I think the contents of the case are too heavy for the case to survive some shipping stresses. Makes me wonder if it would have survived long if it hadn't been damaged when I received it.
Poor Quality
January 2, 2016
The case is extremely flimsy. The plastic insert is made from very cheap, thin plastic. The foam on the lid was glued on improperly and was falling off and the latches won't close when the case is shut unless they are forced. Sending back immediately.
Poor quality. Waste of time.

This set contains the same, very average "dice style" chips (likely made in China) that everyone is selling. The case falls under the same category and is of such poor quality that I was afraid to use it. It buckles and opens about 1/8 of an inch near the handle when carried. The various surfaces of the case while made of metal are flimsy. The small bands that run between the various rivets have scratched the underlying case surface. (Guessing this occurred during the manufacturing process as they don't appear loose.) Worst of all the dice and various buttons shift around while carrying the case. One of the buttons has an ugly scratch where the plastic gate was clipped. The dice have chipped inset (white) dots that were then pained over. In the end, the chips would have worked for me but I would have needed to find a different way to carry them. Returned.
Aluminum case broken
January 22, 2014
About 80% of the 500 poker chips are fine. The other stuff included in the set are not made with a good quality but I can live with that as they are just supposed to be bonus. The problem is that part of the aluminum case and the handle were BROKEN (the handle is not strong at all)!! not sure it's because of the seller or the amazon package, but must need to be returned for a refund as my money mainly pays for the case and chips, and this case fails completely.
Horrible Quality Control
January 21, 2014
Order two of these sets and both came damaged. Got my money back from Amazon, but what a waste of money to ship and return two sets because of damage. I don't think packaging was an issue as the packaging wasn't that bad. The case was crack, the locks were broken, the case was warped.
broken case
September 1, 2012
I should have listened to the other reviews but thought I would get lucky. Unfortunately I did not... my case was cracked when I took it out of the box. The packaging looked good so I do not understand why it was broken other than maybe it was not taken care of during shipment. In any case (not a pun), the quality of the case is very cheap and since it was broken it revealed being made of cardboard covered with metal paper. It is obvious that the case would not have lasted that long if it was used at all. Also there is only one handle so the weight of the chips alone would start cracking the entire case.Fortunately nothing inside was damaged from what I case see, though it is obvious the quality inside the case was just as bad. I will be returning the case and chip set, hopefully not having the same bad luck with my next purchase as the ones I bought.

Great chips, bad case
December 16, 2016
I'm very disappointed with this company. They don't have any contact information listed, my poker set came, the case that holds the chips was damaged when I received it, although the chips seem decent quality, although i have yet to use them because the case is damaged and I cannot travel with it
Do not buy this product
April 3, 2015
Bad product at around. The chips are different sizes and the inside case is all broken. The dealer chips are very poor quality.

Horrible
December 30, 2014
Inside of case was falling apart when it arrived. I ordered this product for a party and it came the same week of so I had to improvise and line the inside since the felt was stuck to the chip plastic and pulled apart when I went to retrieve the chips. This item was described as the picture looks however it didn't arrive that way.

Terrible condition upon arrival - I understand that I didn't pay for the top of the line; but cracked and falling apart shouldn't be the standard!!! Also bought one for a gift - not sure how to give a gift that looks like this; but shipping to return is too expensive to bother with.... What a waste of money!
I was really disappointed when I opened this case
December 25, 2014
I was really disappointed when I opened this case. This is a very low quality product and in no way "professional". The whole inside of the box was dirty and dusty. The very first chip I happened to look at was cracked. All the other chips have signs of low quality production. I will be returning this product.
