I needed a second set of cards, because we play a game with four people each using four decks (not simultaneously). It is easier if we each have our own deck to shuffle while another hand is in progress. I wanted decks that were not the typical Hoyle color and pattern, because we have had times when two decks became confused, and it took me a few hours to reconstruct the four deck towers. I haven't used them yet, but they feel solid and new. As it relates to Card Throwing. June 1, 2016 I practice card throwing, and this seemed like a good pack to get a solid amount of cards for a decent price, as I tend to loose or chip a lot of cards pretty quickly.I personally feel these are significantly better for card throwing than the standard Bicycle cards. They're sturdier, hence more aerodynamic. My shots are more accurate and powerful as compared to other cards.For card throwing, I definitely recommend you give them a try. They are, of course, not better than specialized cards made for throwing, but they might be the best bang for you buck when it comes to regular playing cards. Very nice playing cards February 13, 2016 These are some very nice playing cards. I bought a couple sets of numbered poker chips but they did not come with any red decks of playing cards; just blue. When I hold poker night, I like to have 2 decks of cards at each table which is 1 red and 1 blue.These are standard index and have a plastic coating. Very good quality in my opinion. However, the corners do bend easily so make sure your players are careful.Only gripe I have is the price as they are a little more than a dollar a piece but I would buy them again when needed. I gave as a gift...first I gave the poker chip set, then this, his eyes lit up :). What I got (and expected) is a piece of felt that has Texas Holdem printed on one side (t-shirt print style) and Blackjack on the other. It fits easily over our home table (felt is smaller than our table) or on our fold-up table (felt is a bit larger than table). I'm quite satisfied and enjoy using it.A quick note: it does arrive folded up, so you may want to give it a day to lay flat if you are hoping for a perfectly flat felt to get that faux "felt table" feel. Four Star Reviews: | 21% Good but with some flaws March 29, 2017 This is an overall nice set with good, heavy pieces. However, I have two complaints, one minor and one more serious. As for the minor complaint, a few of the chips had small cracks--not enough to go through the hassle of returning the set but annoying none the less. The more serious concern is that the handle on the case feels flimsy. I'm afraid to hold the case by the handle because I think it will break, so I usually carry it from underneath. I bought two so I could have Blackjack and Poker going at two tables. The felt is pretty heavy and the silk screened graphics are fine - they look almost professional. You could simply lay these on a table and your'e good to go but they would slide around a bit I'm sure. I ended up going the the fabric store and bought some soft fiber padding/backing, about 3/16 thick for about 20.00 bucks, a can of spray adhesive and some picnic table cloth clips and presto - padded gaming tables that were secured to the table - no sliding around and the padded top really gave it that Pro Feel! Party over, rolled them up together and now I have a traveling game anytime we need one - really a pretty cool thing to have for not a lot of cash! Good product overall. But expected more from quality. November 10, 2013 The design and size is very nice. Fits my table perfectly. Would be nice if they took away the dealer box artwork on the poker side since you would think that most people use these for home games instead of running a casino.For the price I paid, I expected more out of the quality of the material. I noticed that the material frays quite easily. Got a lot of fur balls forming on the surface that can be pulled off.It lasted through the first night without problems.I have not yet put it thru the washer. Will update when I find out what happens. Good, but gets fuzz balls after a while March 29, 2012 This isn't a bad felt, but after a while it does get the annoying fuzz balls. I've been using mine for over a year now. I stapled itto a piece of plywood for my home-made blackjack table and use it pretty frequently. I decided to try these out and am now sorry I did. Spend a bit more and get printed chips...much better option as the denomination on those won't peel, stick to other chips, fray, or come off. Missing items March 11, 2017 Arrived on time, but missing chips and one of the deck of cards was empty except for a couple of jokers! We don't actually need the missing chips or the card deck, but it should have been in the description! Great chips, Cheap case December 20, 2015 The chips are awesome, just as advertised but the case appears to be cheap. It arrives with a huge crack on the bottom side of the case but the packaging showed no signs of damage. Nice weight but the stickers keep coming off. July 20, 2015 I like the weight of the chips. The chip stickers keep coming off. I am overall happy with the chips, but the company needs to review quality control methods. Okay, not great. May 13, 2015 I ordered two of these, and they have some good points and bad points. First the good:+Chips are solid, and feel good.+Aluminum case is well-made.+The chips do look nice.+Decent values included in the set.The bad:-The nice laser-cut part is a sticker.-The stickers on many of the chips were coming off when I got them. I am going to have to re-glue the stickers on.-The set is supposed to include a dealer button and the blind buttons. It does not. It has a dealer button and a plastic, solid yellow poker chip.-one of the two sets came damaged in shipping, the other was fine.My final verdict? It's a good enough value for the cost, but be prepared to fix some of the minor issues, and order a second set of buttons. Not great manufacturing quality April 28, 2015 Decent, but not awesome. My set came with TONS of imperfections around the chips. It's like the coat around the metal was not set right so it's somewhat rubbery, has gouged edges or edges with hanging material. Because of all this, they don't shuffle well. Not worried about the stickers as that was a known factor prior to purchase, and there was only one chip that the sticker fell off of out of the box. The rest seem solidly adhered. | 5% Quality is fine, just not useful for my purposes September 22, 2017 I took a gamble (no pun intended) buying these cards. I use them as a base to make Artist Trading Cards (ATCs), which are basically miniature pieces of artwork. Most of the time, I glue other papers/fibers/embellishments to them, or draw or paint on them. Unfortunately, the slick plastic coating on these cards has no texture to it, while many other playing cards do. If the plastic coating has a slight texture, it's much easier to glue, paint, etc. over the surface. To use these for ATCs, I have to cover both sides in gesso, which is a tad labor-intensive and time-consuming. So while there is nothing inherently wrong with these cards, they just don't suit my purpose as I had hoped. I will most likely use the remaining packs as stocking stuffers at the holidays. :) Not bad September 9, 2017 Not bad for the price! One deck was cut just a tad bit bigger from the reds, but that's okay. Haven't opened the blues yet. Using a cut card already started to split one edge. I am happy with the choice for now. However, I had some complaints that cards were missing from new decks. I brushed it off to those who just didn't win! But after the party I opened up some new unopened(I took the cellophane off) decks and went through them and sure enough they were not complete. There really was no rhyme or reason to the missing cards. So it was a little disappointing. A little too stiff. June 29, 2017 Cards are exceptionally stiff, and difficult to shuffle. I haven't opened all of the decks but the 2nd deck has a couple of misprints on the back, which would allow someone to memorize those specific cards. They're still ok for camping and such, but they're still tough to shuffle. I took this to mean large numbers. The numbers ... April 1, 2017 I took this to mean large numbers. The numbers were small. I bought this and the rest of the blackjack dealing equipment and the felt is the weak link. It's nice/large and does the job but the marked off areas of the felt are painted on or silk screened and the paint catches on the cards. Makes sliding the cards over these areas a little difficult, sometimes they catch . It arrived on time, looked great and was excited to unpack it and start using it. When we started to unpack it, two rolls of chips were completely messed up with the stickers stuck together and the edges weren't smooth. One Star Reviews: | 7% One would think that for the price you would get a nice case. WRONG February 16, 2016 Never buy this one again. $.10 cent case .... One would think that for the price you would get a nice case. WRONG. 10 to 15 cent case is what you get and the chips are cheap. Terrible- terrible. Never again. DO NOT BUY THIS! July 22, 2015 These are absolutely horrible. The chips are cheaply made with many inaccuracies on the printing pattern around the edge. The chips come with sticker labels on them! Stickers? This cost more than $60 and I've gotten a set where the chips were printed for around $50. To top it off all of these stickers were constantly falling off. The first chip I pulled out of the box was missing stickers and then I realized it was stuck upside down to the chip next to it. Since these stickers have preset dollar values you're kind of stuck with them (haha no pun intended) except they fall off all the time rendering them nearly unusable. I've purchased them before about a year ago and and liked them but these cards, while they look the same, are so much thinner than the first order. We play Hand and Foot card game quite often with the family and use 6 decks at a time for the game and use an electric card shuffler. The first order of these cards worked great with the shuffler but these new ones are so thin the shuffler constantly gets stuck because it's grabbing more than one card and a time. Just go to a fabric shop November 18, 2011 This arrived the day before my first poker tourney, but the felt is thin, the "paint" would look hokey -- IF it was not flaking off, and it doesn't include table stays to hold the felt in place on your table.Yuk. Do yourself a favor like I did. Grab your measuring tape, measure your table, add 12" per dimension and march down to your local fabric shop. This is 1 yard of fabric. At my shop, that was normally $4.99/yard, but they had a sale on it for $2.99/yard. I could have bout FIVE of these for that price, but instead I got batting and table clips and still came out ahead.Thank GOODNESS their quality control is terrible, because I can return it to Amazon for a full refund.
