My 5 1/2 yr old granddaughter loves this and I also used in my first grade class as a literacy center.
GREAT KIDS GAME
June 28, 2017
GREAT GAME FOR KIDS LEARNING TO READ AND PUT TOGETHER THOUGHTS OF THEIR OWN. I PURCHASED THIS FOR MY GRANDSON THAT WILL ENTER FIRST GRADE THIS FALL. HE HAS LEARNED TO READ AND THIS MAKES THE GAME SO MUCH FUN. HE IS DETERMINED TO FIGURE OUT WORDS AND THIS HELPS HIM RECOGNIZE WORDS. AS HE GETS OLDER I AM SURE HE WILL ENJOY IT MUCH MORE.
Very Enjoyable and Effective Learning Game
December 3, 2016
This is a well thought out game for new readers who are ready to learn very basic grammer. The physical quality is also very high. We are keeping the card residue to create other word groups when our grand daughter masters the basic game. The negative forms are made of sturdy card board so we can keep this going for a very long time.

My pre-k child really enjoys this game. It's a bit like "Mad Libs' only with puzzle pieces.
One of my FAVORITE classroom games/centers
July 12, 2016
I teach special education and LOVE this game for the lower elementary students. It's great for oral language development, sentence structure, increasing vocabulary, and also supports those students who aren't quite reading yet.A fun and silly game, easy to use as a center or a reward game. There are enough pieces for a good 4-5 students to work on this at a time, as long as they each make one sentence and put back those pieces when they are done, and then exchange for new ones.
Great product!
April 1, 2016
Such a great product and value. My Kindergarteners love making these silly sentences. My only complaint is that I wish the box had compartments to organize the pieces better. My kids spend a lot of time trying to sift through all the pieces trying to find the word they want, which ends up being a big mess on the table and takes a long time to clean up. I have tried limiting the number of pieces I Iet them use at one time, but they always seem to be looking for the word I didn't put out!

Fun, quick, and very entertaining party staple for up to 10 people.
April 24, 2017
This game is SO MUCH FUN! Often times for game nights it's hard to find a game for more than 5-6 people. This one can accommodate 10 players (11 if you include the narrator). The best part? It doesn't actually NEED a narrator because the game comes with a free app that tells you whose turn it is and what they get to do so that you're not fighting over the rule book every 2 seconds! Each game is played over 5 min, so you're expected to play multiple games, which typically means you get to be different roles throughout the night making the game that much more exciting and fun for all. We had such a blast playing this game and now it's a party staple!
BUY IT.

To begin, my family and I are cutthroat game players. I'm talking every moment we have to spare, we are playing games. The first thing you need to do is download the free app, it really clarifies the first stages of the game. That being said, our standards are WAY up there. This game surpassed those expectations. The first few rounds were a little rocky as everyone was getting a feel for game play. Nobody really knew what to say, or how to go about getting answers. After two rounds, the gloves came off and things got real. Accusations, deception, strategy, deduction...this game has it all. I lied to my wife and was totally okay with it. Another big draw is that with the app, you can determine how long you want your rounds to be. We found 8 minutes to be the sweet spot, just enough to accuse and back stab, and not too much to regret the horrible accusations you threw at your mother. The first night we played for 4 hours, that's roughly 26 rounds. 26 ROUNDS. It's a highlight of our week and everyone's new favorite game.
Love, Love, Love This Game!
November 14, 2016
My friend and I between the two of us own all 3 versions of this game, but we were missing playing the original so I picked it up. It's just as fun as I remember and it's fun to combine games. If you've never played, think Mafia, but with werewolves. The real challenge of the game is to be a good liar and figure out who's lying before the time is up. You'll find yourself saying, "Just one more game" until 2 in the morning. Super addictive! Super fun!
Our favorite game! Was hard to leave the house.
December 1, 2015
This is an incredibly awesome game. We got it over Thanksgiving weekend, played for several hours over 2 days with groups of 4 to 9, and it was great every time. I love the app that walks you through the game, and that you can choose which cards you use and customize the app as you change it up. To start, I recommend using 2 villagers, the seer, the robber and 2 werewolves. Then once you understand the game, ditch the villagers and add in the the masons and the insomniac, next add in the minion and the doppelganger (super fun). the drunk and the tanner were our least favorite, but as you play you will be able to customize based on which characters you like best..
Great Party Game with Quality Game Pieces
July 21, 2015
This is one of my all-time favorite games. We bought it last month for my sister-in-law’s birthday, and our whole family loved it. It seems a little complicated when you start out, but it is really very simple and easy to learn. It is easy to switch up the characters you play with to add dimension to the game and keep it from getting boring or old. This game goes really fast, which is AWESOME because if you lose (or you know you’re about to lose…) it only takes a few minutes and then you’re playing the next round. You get to play as a lot of different characters this way, which is fun since there are so many fun characters to play as!The best part about the game is the free app you can download on your phone. It has a whole selection of different narrator voices and background music, which is fun to play with. It also makes it SUPER easy to go through the game, and everyone gets to play – no one has to sit out to play as “narrator.”The quality of the game pieces is fantastic. The cards are thick, sturdy cardboard with vibrant colors, basically impossible to accidentally bend or rip in the heat of the game. There aren’t a lot of pieces, and none of them are very small, so it’s hard to lose them as well. Even the instructions are printed in full-color on glossy paper.Overall very impressed with the quality of the gameplay and the game pieces. It is a great party game and everyone loves it!
So good that my family had to hold an intervention
May 27, 2014
My first Amazon review because it's just that dang good!I just got through playing this obsessively this past weekend at Kublacon in the Bay Area. I tried a demo game on Saturday, and after one game I was hooked. I then played and hosted the game for about 16 hours on Sunday until my tablet died and my voice was hoarse from narrating. This is a near-perfect distillation of the Ultimate Werewolf ruleset. Playing has no eliminations, no moderating, and lasts less than ten minutes (we typically played between 4-7 minutes depending on the size of the group). Everyone plays. Everyone has fun. Everyone lies. It's the best of deception and deduction. Here's how the game works:Players each take a card from a pile in the middle, and there are three cards left in the middle (there are always N+3 cards being used in the game). Each card has a role on it that can range from a vanilla Villager to Werewolf to the really dumb to play with Doppelganger (really, just never put it in the game because it's horrible).Players then arrange their cards into a "board" with the three unselected cards in the middle, and the player cards pointing at each player. Then begins the night phase.During the night phase, certain roles take their turn in order. Seers can look at another player's card or two from the middle, Robbers can steal another players role and give the other player their Robber card. Troublemakers swap two other players cards without seeing what their roles are, and so on. Then everyone wakes up for the day phase.During the day phase, everyone must come to a consensus on who the werewolf is based on where the cards ended up. No one can look at their card during the day phase, so there is a chance that you may not be the same role that you were before and not know it. Everyone works together to figure out what happened and who knows what. A game of deception and deduction. At the end of the time limit agreed upon, everyone votes by pointing their finger at another player. Whoever receives the most votes dies and reveals their role. And that's the entire game.Basic victory is that Team Villagers win if at least one werewolf dies or if no one dies and no one is a werewolf. Otherwise, Team Werewolf wins. There are other victory conditions depending on the roles being used, but this is the basic one.You can play with one player doing the announcing during the night, or, and kudos to Bezier Games for this, use the free iOS or Android app to do the announcing for you.Like I said, the game is nearly perfect. Nearly. I feel like some rules can definitely be fleshed out or clarified a bit more -- perhaps a tree diagram of win conditions since that can be a little hairy once Tanners and Minions are involved. There was only one thing I really had issue with: Currently, the rules state that if the game ends in a tie of greater than one vote, all of those in a tie die. We ended up changing this to no one dies. This gives more power to the werewolves and, really, just makes more sense I think. I don't think there would be a situation where a village would willingly risk an innocent just because they're indecisive.All-in-all, I think this is such an excellent game. I probably ended up selling more copies of the game on Sunday than the Bezier booth did since I was encouraging every passerby to join in. "Five minutes. What could it hurt?" Next thing we know, we've been playing for five hours straight. If you played with me at Kublacon on Sunday (I was the faux-hawky Asian guy), thanks for joining in. I hope that it encouraged you to go and buy the game. If you're Bezier Games, I'm expecting my royalty check some time soon (Kidding!).

More verbs would be great!
October 28, 2016
I like it because it is a very kinesthetic way to learn about sentence formation. I bought this for my k1-going-k2 girl.the reason why I didn't give it a 5 star it's because they had 4 of each verb and only about 5 variation.. saw, jumped, climbed, ate (and perhaps 1 more)... I wished they had different verbs and present tense too... that would have been perfect.for "jumped" and "climbed", they have included prepositions too (great idea)do they sell 'extension pack' with verbs? :)
They love making the sentences and illustrating them
June 16, 2016
This product is a win with my kiddos. They love making the sentences and illustrating them. It will be much better if this product comes with an organizer that will help sorting and choosing the puzzles to make a sentence.
good enough; puzzled by one card image
June 11, 2016
It seems to have limited vocabulary, two many "the", "A" and "period" cards - could use more actual words, verbs, etc.Now to the most puzzling part of this puzzle game - did they really put word "hero" under the picture of a sub (as subway sandwich)? Does anyone else has this card? All other cards have the images that are exactly what the word says, so there is no explanation for why "hero" looks like a sandwich....
My students love this puzzle
August 16, 2015
My students love this puzzle. I hear a lot of laughter when they read the silly sentences. I just wish it was sturdier. I use it with first graders. They can be rough on cardboard puzzles. I think it will last one more year. I recommend it even if it might have to be bought again after a few years if it is used in a classroom.

Got it for my classroom and my students love it. I'm a special education teacher and I like that it helps students who are not able to write sentences independently have a model. I only wish there were more options (sentence structure is limited), but for the price it is great. I also like that it makes it hard to connect puzzle pieces if the sentence does not make sense (word type has to go in a particular order).
Great game for Kindergarteners
May 1, 2013
My kid has this game in her classroom. i wanted her to have more practice outside of class. It's a fun learning game. I wish there were a few more word options. I'm sure they keep it simple for beginning learners. But I find my kid wanting to add words. So we write them on paper and add them to the sentence line. But each piece is a puzzle piece connection, making the scrap paper additions look sloppy. So it would be nice if there were blank puzzle pieces that they could write in dry erase marker to make up their own words. The game has a big selection of nouns, but needs more adjectives, verbs and adverbs. And blank puzzle pieces that can be inserted for learners custom words.

A great party game
August 6, 2017
A great party game! The original werewolf takes place over multiple rounds with players being eliminated each round. One Night Ultimate Werewolf takes place over just one round, meaning no one has to sit out and wait for a new game to start. You shuffle up the multiple roles that come with the game and hand them out to players, leaving some in the middle of the group. Then you walk everyone through the order of the night, with many of the roles waking up at some point to look at other players cards or swap cards between players. Once the night is over, all players wake up and discuss who they think is the werewolf, if anyone. After a set time, a vote occurs and roles are revealed. If the werewolf is caught or there was no werewolf and the town didn't choose to accuse anyone, the town wins. If no werewolves were killed, then they win.I highly recommend using the app to walk players through, as that way no one has to remember all of the roles and do it themselves. My other recommendation is that while the game can technically be played with 3 players, it works best with 6 to 8 players.
If you can lie, you'll be very good at this fun party game. :)
April 24, 2017
Can you lie? If the answer is yes, then this is the game for you! Great party game, the more people, the more fun. Everyone gets a persona and then goes through a series of actions during the "night" with everyone's eyes closed. Shenanigans ensue, and then everyone "wakes up" and tries to figure out who are the different villagers and the 2 werewolves. Fast play...each round only takes about 5 minutes or so. Great app you can download that has fun music and does all the talking for you, but instructions are also in the box for someone to read. If you're not a good liar, like me, then it is rather difficult to convince people who you are or are not. :)
Fun for all ages
December 10, 2016
Great party game and the phone app is a must have if you get this game. Always leads to lots of laughs which is a good sign for any game. I bring this to family gatherings and everyone enjoys it, even non gamers. It's easy to learn and to teach. There aren't many components but they are good. The one downfall to me is the art. I wish it had a darker feel to the art opposed to the cartoony look. I've played this game A LOT and it doesn't get old. They have expansions out now that add characters. Fun for all ages
Drunkards beware!
July 20, 2016
PSA: If you try to play this game with a bunch of first-timers AND everyone has been drinking, you won't get anywhere. We probably read the rules/descriptions twenty times and then cleaned everything up an hour later. This one's not for the drunks, folks.
Fun, easy and quick!
February 27, 2015
Great fun with good replay value! The narration app is free to download and makes gameplay much easier due to a relatively changing and complex script for the narrator to remember - the options available in the app are great. When compared to the game I own that most closely resembles this one, 'The Resistance: Avalon,' this game is much simpler with more random outcomes - whether this is a good or bad thing is up to you and your gaming group. Production quality is much better than necessary, which is great! Instead of standard playing cards, which could be difficult to use depending on the playing surface, they've made relatively thick cardboard role cards which are much easier to pick up and move around. My first thought was that the cardboard would be audible and people would be able to hear and deduce what was occurring even when their eyes were closed. Using the app, there is built in customizable background noise which more than covers up any sound made by the cardboard/table. The only downside to this game is that to achieve a lot of replay value, there is a need for someone or multiple someones to lie - which isn't always ideal because it usually ends up being the same person/people so then nobody believes them during future games. Overall a fun game especially when you begin to mix and match the different roles, the more people playing the better.

January 10, 2015
This game is pretty fun. You can download an app that will help orchestrate the game, which is really helpful so no one has to sit out to make sure it all went down correctly.Once you move past the basic setup, it's up to you to balance the game correctly. There are some pretty hilarious things that can happen when no one has any clue what's going on or people start lying just to see people's reactions! It can support a lot of people, which is great for a filler or party game, but I've found that the sweet spot is around 5-6 people. The downside of this game is that if someone is a Troublemaker and swaps a Werewolf with a non-Werewolf, the person who used to be the Werewolf will immediately announce that they had been the Werewolf and the game is over in 2 seconds. On the plus side, the game takes no more than 5 minutes to play, so if you have a lame round, you shrug it off and just play it again.

December 17, 2016
A bit too complicated for my kindergartner, but will work once she has conquered more words. The idea is great, just geared toward a certain level of child and will probably not be exciting once it has been played several times and they conquer the supplied words.
Make your own.
May 21, 2016
Not enough variety of adjectives or verbs to keep a child interested. Great nouns, and only 4-verbs and maybe 10 adjectives. Become repetitive very quickly. Good for a child learning sentence organization but not advanced enough for a 2nd grade reader.
Something is missing
July 29, 2015
Not as fun as I thought it would be.It's pretty difficult for the children and not as fun.But the quality is good, and at least it teaches the correct grammar.
Cute game
May 22, 2015
It needs more variety, especially with the verbs, but my 1st grader likes making long, crazy sentences with this game. It's a fun way to introduce or reinforce parts of speech. Also, I wish it had commas so those long sentences could be punctuated properly.
A good start
May 4, 2013
Just a pity the verbs are all in the past and there is a lot of repetitions. Could do with as many words as there are cards instead of many cards with the same words. The pictures are brilliant and help the little ones decipher the words.

Great Game.. But Marked Cards Are Common
August 30, 2017
One of my all time favorite games.. but Bezier Games makes some flimsy and often marked cards. I bought my first deck, luckily with only a few villager cards and the insomniac card marked at the edge of the card, but I decided I was going to exchange it since I want the whole experience when I have a big group over. When I got my second one I was pretty happy with most of the cards... EXCEPT the mother flippin werewolf cards that were printed visibly different at the back and the drunk was marked! So 2/2 times so far I've gotten marked cards in my deck at the time of opening. On top of that even if the cards weren't marked, they are made pretty cheaply and can become marked after some games.Like I said, fantastic game in concept. But if every time a new player buys this game and automatically receives cards that make this game unplayable, it becomes incredibly annoying. Bezier Games needs to make their cards out of better material that doesn't mark as easily.
Three Stars

Game was everything as described. Box was a little damaged when it arrived.
I love this game
June 7, 2017
I love this game, I played it at a friend's house and thought I would buy it myself. Unfortunately it is made out of cheap material and easily rips when punching the cards out of the holes.
Incredibly fun game, but the product itself is poorly-made
April 15, 2017
This game is SO much fun! We started out with three players to get the hang of it, and it was fun but nothing amazing. Then we played with five, and it was a blast! Everyone got really into trying to logic out who was the werewolf, and there was plenty of (good-natured) yelling when a werewolf managed to slip under the radar. We played for several hours straight and had people asking to come back the next day for more. We have also played with seven people, which was fun, too.The only reason this didn't get five stars was because of poor product quality. The cards are in a punch-out cardboard sheet, and the back of one ripped very easily as I was taking them out. This is a problem because all the cards need to look identical when face-down. We had to put duct tape over the backs of all the cards so that the ripped one wouldn't stand out. Also, we have only been playing the game for a few days and the color is starting to come off from the front side of the cards (with the character faces.) I would prefer a better-made game that will last.
Requires several players, not kid friendly
January 22, 2017
Unique party game! Very cool concept. But you really need a lot of people to make it work, at least 5+, and they all need to be pretty smart and really pay attention. It's not exactly kid friendly, as younger players will be completely lost and even older players will tend to be totally confused at least at first. I think the game needs to be a little better at explaining the strategy in the rules ... it's been very difficult to find repeat players after a lot of initial confusion on figuring out what-the-bleep is going on and how to even win. The mobile app for this is practically a requirement, because of the confusing rules involved.
Werewolves not included
November 23, 2016
Meh. Didn't come with actual werewolves. Maybe I don't get it but this game wasn't all that fun. We played with 4 people and I think it would be better with more. It can't be worse. I wanted to stop after the first round but that made me feel like a crappy parent so I stuck it out.

Cards ripped immediately
July 24, 2017
Love this game and bought it the same night a friend shared it with me. Got two day delivery but when I was popping the cards out of the cardboard the backs peeled and now it's almost impossible to play since the Ayers know the cards that have been ripped. Happened in the first 5 minutes. Sad.
Great game, terrible packaging.
May 17, 2017
I love playing this game with my friends so I decided to get my own copy. Within 2 minutes of opening the box, 4 of the cards were torn on the back trying to get them out of the frame, ruining the entire point of the cards, especially since the biggest rip was a werewolf card. I feel my money has been wasted because of this packaging.
Fun and addictive
March 4, 2017
Fun and addictive! Cross between Clue and Heads up 7-up with quick game play. Unfortunately, my box was shipped to me damaged, otherwise it would be 5 stars.
Poorly made; ruins the game
December 25, 2016
I really thought the game was a great concept, but the poor workmanship of the product ruined the game. The cards are punched out of cardboard, and the cards are all off center so that you can totally tell from the back which card is which. The two werewolf cards are so far off center that there is no white border on the bottom and all the other cards have a white border. Some cards are stamped a little diagonally. Its like playing with really bad marked cards. No point in playing. I'm sending it back.

I'm so disappointed! My son had gotten this game for his 2 daughters to play. We all played and loved it! When I ordered it to use with my RtI students - kdg. and 1st graders, the game I received was very scaled down as compared to my son's game. No board, no cube (as cheesy as it was) which totally changed the game! No shaking of a die, no moving around a board. Took a lot of the fun for the little ones at home and at school. No fun way to acquire an article, noun or verb. Haven't really figured out how to play this game as it is right now. Wish I could return it! Please bring back the original game - no it wasn't perfect but so much more fun for the kiddos!

Unfortunately not much direction in this game. My college aged daughters had both played using the website but couldn't figure out what we were missing vs a different version of this game they played at their schools. Frustrating and worthless purchase on my part.
Worst packaging for a hidden role game
May 17, 2017
worst packaging ever...As a hidden role game, the most important part is not being able to set the cards apart. These "cards" came in a punch-out cardboard which damaged the card easily and can them apart..
Fun game, terrible card quality!
March 21, 2017
One Night indeed! My game group and I played one round of this game and the back of the cards showed tearing and scratches, from a light shuffle! I am surprised since the cards are very thick cardboard. Don't buy this version unless you want to handle every card lightly like a newborn. I will not buy any other games from this company until they resolve this print issue. My $8 deck of Love Letter lasted 100x's longer than this!

Very bad finishing. The background pics of cards are not exactly the same. The white edge (background borders) are not the same for all cards. Also, there are some scratchs on the background pics. NOT PLAYABLE.
Poor quality control on printing
January 5, 2017
I cannot rate this as a game, as I never played it. But I gave a copy of it as a gift and it was unplayable. The backs of the cards were inconsistently printed/misprinted, so after just 1 play through, any of the players could automatically identify who was a werewolf rendering the game pointless.I bought a few weeks before Christmas, so hopefully it was just bad quality control in the short term...Amazon fully refunded without a hassle.
