Five Star Reviews: | 68% They both really enjoy it on top of being happy to getting to ... August 25, 2017 My husband & my stepson loves playing this in the house together! They both really enjoy it on top of being happy to getting to spend actual time with him instead being glued to their iPhones & tablets!! GREAT FOR FAMILY GATHERINGS June 7, 2017 I bought this for Memorial Day family gathering with our 6 year old Grandson. He LOVES it and is able to beat us all at these games! This arrived earlier than promised.Very sturdy and all pieces arrived in perfect condition. All the neighborhood kids enjoyed this game set.Thank you This is a great item. With the exception of the fold out ... February 27, 2016 This is a great item. With the exception of the fold out legs, it's pretty much ready to play with. The folding legs make it easy to store. It would've been nice if it came with a storage bag, but I just reused the plain box it came in and labeled it. It really is well made an nice that it has 2 games you can play. Great for young boys! My grandson is 8 years old and he loved this game December 26, 2015 My grandson is 8 years old and he loved this game. It was a Christmas present. It's two games in one. He loves sports and any kind of game competition. With the weather not the best, this worked well for inside fun. 2 games in 1!!! December 14, 2015 Nice quality product!! Great deal for the price!!! This is actually fun for both kids and adults!!!As two games in once at a very reasonable price, this was a definite winner of a gift that we all had fun with. Couldn't be happier with this purchase. It also arrived VERY fast. Another major plus. Awesome 2 in 1 Game... October 19, 2015 The corn toss game is a great game and has been one of the best investments made in keeping my kids occupied...for hours. Of course I had to get in on the fun when they played the football touchdown toss side, and mother tried to beat them at Tic Tac Toss. It's a really great game that the entire family is enjoying. Perfect for indoors and outdoors. Once the kids become bored with one side it is simple enough for even our four year old to turn the board over to play a different game.Thankfully it also comes with a bag to keep the talks back together. Storage easily and neatly in the closet and under the bed. Definitely worth the purchase. This is the second game we ordered from this company and I have no complaints at all. Their customer service is superb. | 88% Great activity to do with big brother (2 1/2 years ... September 22, 2017 Purchased for my daughter's first Christmas- she was 15 months at the time. Great activity to do with big brother (2 1/2 years older). He enjoyed playing the game from the start and could roll the cube, choose the card, and follow the directions with little help. He liked showing his little sister what to do on her turns and she loved being a part of the game. (instead of being left out of games with small pieces or with cards that she would tear up) Now that she is just over two and he's 4 1/2 they ask to play quite often. Both have a great time tossing the cube and doing the activities. Would recommend as a great first game for any 1-3 year old. Read no more, buy this. You won't regret it July 1, 2017 My 14 month old is obsessed with this even though she doesn't get the connection of the dice to the colored cards yet. She just grabs the whole deck and brings them to me so we can go through them all one by one. I'm sure she'll continue to love it as she gets older and we can enhance the rules. Seriously buy this. It's such a nice way to interact with your child. I've loved it and so has she. Great game for 2 year olds. April 7, 2017 My two year old LOVES this game. He's understanding more about rules, taking turns, and he gets to practice moving all kinds of ways and showing off his knowledge about colors and counting. I'm planning to buy this as a gift for friend with kids the same age. I do wish the card deck had an expansion pack because we're getting too good at the ones included with the set! Fun to throw, soft enough to throw at your kid March 25, 2017 Son loves it.Bought this for our neice, neece, nice. My son's cousin. She loves it.Pretty much if you have a kid under 5, they will love this. They won't follow the rules and you'll be stuck picking up cards for hours a day, but the color die is... just... like a flame for a moth. Kids love it. Playtime made Easy February 9, 2017 This game is wonderful for toddlers. Can't get much more than 3 or 4 turns out of any one session, but my daughter (16 months) seems to have fun, and even requests to play it sometimes. I'm not the best at playing pretend, and sometimes have difficulty playing with a baby for any extended period of time (I color coordinate mega blocks when we play, if that gives you any idea. Not so good with imagination). This makes it easier. There is really no objective, just roll the die, and read the card. Her favorite part is the cards. More the fact that they are cards than what is on them, but we can still work on colors, counting, and other learning situations while having fun. I plan on buying the dance version when she gets a bit older. A really fun game for a younger child January 28, 2017 This is a really fun game for our 2 year old grandson. It did not take him long to learn the game. He enjoyed rolling (or should I say "throwing" the die). He spends 45 minutes to 1 hour each time he plays, which is a long time for a 2 year old. |
Four Star Reviews: | 11% I was expecting 2 like other corn hole games June 17, 2017 It only has 1 board, I was expecting 2 like other corn hole games. Looks well made. It is a small board with small hole, but the grandkids enjoyed it. He loved playing with it but the leg broke easily March 1, 2017 We ordered this for our grandson for Christmas. He loved playing with it but the leg broke easily. We added a more sturdy screw and works great. Needs more clear cut rules February 5, 2017 I like the idea, but the game did not come with clear game rules (not normally associated with tic tac toe). As an example, what happens if the bean bag falls in the middle of 2 squares, or what happens when 2 bags go in the same hole. Improved Quality / Great Customer Service June 9, 2016 The legs both broke almost immediately after taking out of the box. The screws came out of the wood but then the hole was already stripped so couldn't screw them back in.UPDATE:Great Customer Service! I was sent a new board by the company due to the fact that our original one broke. We haven't had a chance to play with it a lot but the legs appears to be much sturdier than the other board we had. I think the company had some quality control issues at the beginning but hopefully they have those taken care of now. Advice to anyone who had their board break - reach out to the company and let them know...they were an absolute pleasure to work with!!! Had an early Christmas and this was a big winner ... December 22, 2015 Had an early Christmas and this was a big winner. Two issues with this product: one of the bean bags came apart, but it was a simple fix and the other was a leg that fell off. However a 4 year old slammed it down on the concrete, but again a simple fix. Yes I would buy again but would get an adult model next time for the rest of us to play with the kids. | 9% think it's better for a 3+ March 4, 2017 Such a cute game! Got this for my 2 year old for his birthday... he isn't too interested right now in it, think it's better for a 3+. I took the chance that he would like it, which will be great for when he's a little older! But such an adorable first game!!! Highly recommended January 8, 2017 This is an excellent game/toy! Our daughter is 2 1/2 and loves it! It teaches movements, colors, and a variety of other actions in a fun way that involves the whole family! Great for family game nights or for education programs! One small problem is that the outer frame of the play cards is different colors which can get confusing with some of the card instructions. For example, the inside of the card says find something blue with blue object, but yellow frame. This has confused our daughter, but only a little bit! Highly recommended. Great Game! January 22, 2016 My 2 year old LOVES this game. The cards have bright illustrations to show the child instructions as well as simple written text. Each card has a fun act to perform, such as "give a high five", "meow like a cat", "hop 4 times"... Even when we're not playing the game my daughter still enjoys looking through the cards and enacting her favorite ones. For this reason I do wish the cards were a bit more sturdy. They do bend easily. This is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. It won't stop me from recommending this game or from purchasing it again for gifts! Definitely worth the $20 I paid. GREAT game! January 18, 2014 My 22 month old daughter loves this game, & it is a great teaching tool! She has learned colors, counting, & numerous other things, all thanks to this game! She understood the concept right away, & she will often bring the big plush die over to me, to play! I only have a few minor complaints. For one, the cards are stored in a little cardboard container, which then fits inside a pocket on the die, & is secured/closed by velcro. The velcro is not very strong, & my daughter can open the pocket & take the cards out easily. She got them out & ripped the cardboard box that the cards are in, trying to take them out. The cards, themselves, are not strong, and she has already bent a few of them. So, this is definitely a game that requires supervision. You won't really be able to let a younger child/toddler sit there & play with it on their own, or look at the cards by themselves, etc. The cards, at least, will have to be put away when you're not using them with the child. Not a big deal, since the purpose of the game is really to play WITH your child, but I just wanted to mention it. The die, itself, can be left out...my daughter likes to look at the different colors, & then match them with other things of the same color, in the room. It's good practice for her! The only other issue I have with the game is that some things are a little advanced for the target age of 18+ months, but that's okay, it will only keep the game from getting boring, as the child grows. It would make a great gift, too! Fun First Game December 13, 2013 This game is a great game for toddlers. I purchased this for my 3 year old son as his first "real game" a while back when he was a toddler. It was a great way for us to interact with each other and have lots of giggles and fun! He would roll the dice (which he loved best) and then we would pick a card and act out what it said. The nice thing is there is no set amount of time you have to spend doing each activity. The cards teach different things such as animal noises (ex: "moo" like a cow), searching for a color (find something red), counting (ex: jump 4 times), expressions (ex: make a sad face), body parts (ex: rub your tummy), and actions (ex: play pat-a-cake). It's a lot of fun! There are 6 different colors. Each category is a certain color. For example, the blue cards could be finding a color. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because once my son got closer to 3 he started having interest in other games like Candy Land so it didn't last very long. We still play it from time to time but like I said, it doesn't last long. So if thinking of getting this, I would get it around 18 months-2 maybe 3 unless your child is like mine. The block is soft so it is easy to throw and won't hurt if the child accidentally gets a little crazy rolling it. Overall, it is a great first game and I'm glad I got it because it was good quality time with my son. Better for 2 years and Up. Rolls "orange" too often. December 2, 2013 I'd give this 3.5 if that were possible. But, a 3 would be too low for a decent toy. This is a fun little "game", but probably not so much for an 18 month old. He likes to throw the ball and bend the cards. I think it will be a hit in two months or so. The purple side is built so that it can hold the deck of cards. The added material makes the purple side heavier, which means for a big majority of the rolls, purple ends up on the bottom, resulting in orange on the top. This means we hardly ever roll a purple, so I have to "cheat" to keep the baby interested. |
Three Star Reviews: | 9% It is much smaller than I had pictured and only ... October 24, 2017 It is much smaller than I had pictured and only one board that is reversible. I must not have read the add clearly enough. But it fits the purpose of entertaining my 2 yr old. Very small August 17, 2017 It was cute, but very small. Make sure to carefully read the description/look at the picture. This is best suited for indoor use August 11, 2017 It's a clever game, but not suited to outdoor activities. I should have noticed the dimensions before ordering. This is best suited for indoor use. Disappointed big time November 2, 2016 it is really tiny baby size. I didn't expect it to be full size for that price, but seriously???? It's ok I guess July 25, 2016 It's ok I was surprised when I got it and there was only one board but if you don't mind walking back and forth then it will work | 1% the rest of them were already a little easy and he gets bored quickly April 24, 2017 We got this for our 21 month old son. While he likes the action cards (like "hop three times"), the rest of them were already a little easy and he gets bored quickly. This will be one that we will try every once in a while to see if he gets more interested, but it's definitely not a go-to at this point. Good August 12, 2016 Overall a good game for my little ones to play, but I was under the impression the cards would have gone into slots on the die rather than lay on the floor to be selected from. Doesn't deter/take away from the game, just a bit different from what I thought it would be. This is cute...but not as engaging as I had hoped June 20, 2013 Maybe it is my kid...but she likes to roll the cube...but is not really interested in the activity at 18 months. We will keep trying and see if in time she enjoys it more. At this point we roll the cube and talk about the color. Great concept May 28, 2013 I really liked this game and was excited to get it for my daughter. The quality is great and the cards seem as though they will hold up with frequent use. My daughter doesn't seem to be a big fan of it though, she told me it was a "baby toy". We do use the cards separately though and she seems to like that. I still think it's a great toy just wasn't a good fit for my daughter. |
Two Star Reviews: | 5% not recommended May 21, 2016 One leg broke within the first hour of using it. The screw came right out and I had to glue the wood and find a longer screw to hold the leg. Since it was so inexpensive I did not bother to send it back. The kids ( 3 and 6 years) found it sort of fun, but would rather toss the big bags of my adult corn hole game. P.S. It is pretty small too! Not good for a huge crowd March 28, 2016 Was smaller then expected, material was made well but deceiving in pic when bought. One Star December 28, 2015 Poorly constructed -- especially for children. Support arm broke within 24 hours of use. Received a very quick response from the manufacturer/seller who apologized--and although the original game had sold out, very quickly provided us with a replacement (ring toss) game. Wish they could have replaced the original Bean Bag Game, but we were very pleased with the customer service response to our problem. | 1% Ewww! September 26, 2016 I like the concept of this game and thought it would be fun but my kids just weren't into it. Additionally (this has nothing to do with the game itself) one of the cards came complete with an enormous bug laminated in it! and my 4-yr old is too advanced because she colors & shapes & emotions and all that good stuff and will not play August 7, 2014 And this is why I don't have any money...bought this thinking I could use it as a "fun" learning tool that I could have my 4 year old help me "teach" her 18-month old sibling -except that in my household, its target audience (18 month olds) would rather be running somewhere and not "follow" instructions to jump or do whatever, and my 4-yr old is too advanced because she colors & shapes & emotions and all that good stuff and will not play. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but this was a flop. Not very good March 17, 2013 My daughter is 2. She already knows her numbers and how to count- which the game focuses on things like "clap five tiems" and find somethign that is green. I wish there were some more advanced cards for her. |
One Star Reviews: | 7% One of the legs broke after 5 minutes of being ... August 29, 2017 One of the legs broke after 5 minutes of being used. The string for the bag that carries the bean bags came undone as well. I would not recommend Not Worth It September 9, 2016 This was flimsy to begin with and didn't make it through a summer night on the deck without warping and getting ruined. One Star June 17, 2016 WAS MUCH SMALLER THAN EXPECTED,,, MOSTLY FOR A YOUNG CHILD,,WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN One Star January 27, 2016 Both legs broke off within 5 minutes of my nephew playing with it gently on Christmas :(. | 1% All's good! Great product for my Granddaughter January 19, 2017 All's good! Great product for my Granddaughter!!! The fabric on the square is already coming off and ... May 23, 2016 The fabric on the square is already coming off and we've only used it once Not really PRIME December 22, 2015 Bought this Prime, but will not let me return if for free! Very frustrated!! What is the point of Prime if you can return for free also?! Beware if you are not sure you are going to keep it! gets boring June 23, 2014 my daughter didn't like this too much it gets boring after awhile it may be better in a daycare setting Meh January 29, 2014 My 2.5 yr old has no interest in this game. We've tried several times but he refuses to play. Might be better for kids that are good at following direction |
