Side by Side Comparison of: GreatCall vs JANIZZ

Works great with Greatcall (Jigger bug). It is cheaper through Amazon....which Greatcall was disappointed to hear. But, it is and works great with their plan. Glad we got it. Saved about 20 dollars total.

Admittedly I am what is nowadays considered to be an "old dinosaur" I guess. I have for years been very reluctant to get any type of cell phone and especially a "smart phone" mainly because I wasn't smart enough or "tech-savvy" enough to know how to use one properly. When you consider the facts that I grew up in the days of a "party line" phone in my parents house as a kid, and even when I gave service as a Vietnam Veteran we all went through compass & map reading classes before the advent of G.P.S. systems---I just was not very receptive to the whole concept of using a portable telephone. But thanks to this Samsung Jitterbug Touch 3 - "senior citizen" - (I dislike this term also...) phone and the outstanding customer service people at GreatCall, I actually have learned to like and use this phone very much now. It is a high-quality smart phone but does not make me feel ignorant when using it because it's so simple to operate. Also the extra added advantage of having emergency medical help available and the assistance from the GreatCall folks 24/7 is so reassuring to have. The very kind folks at GreatCall were so extremely patient with my ignorance and took the extra time to help me out anytime that I needed it and carefully explained everything that I wasn't up to speed on. They even credited my account when I did not realize initially that I could use my home WI-FI for internet usage on the phone as well. I would personally highly recommend this phone and the super service from GreatCall for anybody that is from my era or "cell phone reluctant" folks such as myself.

this phone is great,.very easy to use,it has to be charged every night but that is no big deal. and the service plan is $50 per month .for unlimited talk and text. i bought this for half price, even full price is a bargain,

I like it....It does all I need. Since, I don't really do much internet on the phone, I can't say how effective it is for that. However, e-mails come up easy. I still have not used the camera but it looks very straight forward. So for everything is good.

This phone is very easy to use. I'm especially grateful for all the directions that are provided.

The phone is fabulous! With my difficulty seeing small print, this is the first phone ive found that gives me no frustration. It is simple to use and I can read it too!

Good basic touch phone without lots of bells and whistles. The camera feature does not zoom which makes it somewhat limited. It would be nice if the keyboard was bigger.

This is a Samsung Galaxy Ace phone,if you go looking for a cover. Like the bigger icons and pretty easy to use. Not that great of camera, but I didn't buy it for that.

Screen is very touchy. Was hearing a beeping noise because of screen. The customer service was helpful. You will pay more for unlimited coverage. Not very competitive with other phone companies. Verizon unlimited $45.00. Greatcall unlimited $55.00 with extra 100 MB in data.

This is a good "starter" smart phone--it's easy to use and a good, compact size. I am not happy with the sound, however, because it is very hard to adjust--the speaker mode is way too loud, but you can't hear it on regular mode at all because it resets to the lowest volume with each call. I am now going to have to study this more--something I haven't had to do with anything else on this phone. I do love the 5 star feature, which is the only reason I bought this type of smart phone in the first place.

Bought it while looking for a tracfone - I is basically $65.00 a month foe text and 10 cents each and limited internete --- I am returning for a nice Tracfone!

The design is somewhat easier to use than typical smart phones except the touch is way too sensitive and it dials numbers unintentionally. My previous slider phone had a real keyboard that I liked much better but thought I'd give this one a try. I may go back.
Porting my number took longer than expected, too, which isn't the vendor's fault.

it does what it is supposed to do and I mostly understand it.

Confusing set up

Phone itself is nice, but service bills monthly until you cancel - instead of pre-pay. Very disappointed with the greatcall company.

This is not well suited for the elderly. Too small and cumbersome to use.

Small, difficult to see with poor eyesight. Keyboard is small, difficult to use. Not worth the extra cost. Definitely which I had used this money for a different phone.

If there was a NO star for this product, that is what this would receive. BEWARE!!!!!!This was Old technology and when we went to activate it the monthly charges for use went WAY UP!

I love my Jitterbug flip phone and I bought this model because I wanted to download special apps. Returned to Amazon after 36 hours because it is very complex to work and it turns itself off if not manipulated within a minute or so. The keyboard is small and works best with a stylus, but by the time you find your stylus it has shut off. Very frustrating.

Gave the phone away.

I wouldn't give it a star if I could....
I bought this phone for my older mom. We opened the package and set the phone up but to our surprise she could not hear . After trying several things to turn up volume it was as high as it would go. Which is no higher than any other phone . So I sent it back and requested a refund. A week later I got an email that denied the refund because the package had been opened . I wonder how your supposed to know if you like the phone if it's in the package?? They wil not work with is at all.
