I know this saddle bag is actually for horses, but I wanted something to put on my scooter for carrying stuff. If you're not already familiar, motorcycle-specific saddle bags are CRAZY expensive and do the exact same job, so I went for this nice little canvas bag instead.Bottom-line: it fits perfectly! I mean, it's two bags strapped together in the middle; pretty simple concept, and it works for both horses and bikes equivalently. The canvas is rugged and a decent thickness, and the bags are fairly roomy. I can fit a week's worth of clothes into one bag, and random books and stuff in the other to keep me occupied when I go out.I've been using the bags for a little less than a year every other weekend, and I've yet to see a loose string or a tear anywhere in the bag. I got the light-brown bags, and they are a nice milk-chocolatey color that looks very natural.So yes, I'm not ACTUALLY using the bags exactly for what they were designed for, but darn do they work! Maybe next time I visit my grandparents' place I'll take these bags with me and try it on their horses.

I love the canvas rugged look. It is very roomy. I put my long riding raincoat on one side and all sorts of stuff on the other. Great for an all day ride. It has two smaller pockets on top that are handy as well. It ties securely on the saddle and is waterproof. I highly recommend it.

Bought this for my vespa trip, and it worked out great. I was traveling for a week in England in September, and used heavy duty plastic/zipper bags to "waterproof" it. I wish the buckles would stay in the tightened position (they loosen throughout the ride), but overall, love 'em.

Superior quality, they are made of solid construction, roomy, with great connection points, I like the quick snaps on the openings

This bag is tough and economical. Holds all four easy boots and the pockets on top are easy to reach for gloves and cell phone.

The man in my life wanted a bag that he could carry all of his personal things in but not to big. Since he is a truck driver, he just loves this and uses it when he's takes long drives or vacations. Yes he would recommend it!

The colors of the pack I received don't match the picture

True. They are not the same color as the picture. Black trim on a purple brown.The buttons on the small pockets stick. I can't see using these for horses. Anything above a walk will spill gear out of the bag.I use mine for a motorcycle.

The color is way different than pictured

Not the best for the motorcycle, at least not mine. Had to but cardboard in for structure and the wind pull the lid up over the closing clips. Would be perfect for horses and trail riding.

These bags are decent quality, but they are nothing like their picture or description. The certainly don't have a "rustic" look, which is the reason I picked these over other saddle bags. They are typical shiny nylon. The brown bag, for example, has black trim....it's nothing like the image at all! I feel very misled by the picture AND the description.

They have a good design. Not at all what is pictured. Get decent fabric and line them. raise the price 10.

I bought this bag thinking it's exactly like the picture, brown with a tan trim. But instead I got brown with a black trim. Disappointed but I'll still use it. Bought this to mount on my motorcycle so I gotta Jerry rig something up for it. Still better than spending $100 for a motorcycle saddle bag.

Terrible quality, I returned the product. The velcro closures on the pockets were not sewn completely, making it impossible to close the pocket

Snaps fell apart immediately and didnt have the little pockets like the picture.

Bought these thinking i could use them for my motorcycle, the actual bags are larger than the dimensions listed and the color that i got wasnt brown like the picture but some ugly red color with black straps. I'll be returning.

I was hoping to use these saddlebags for my Vespa but it's a no go. I had read a previous comment where somebody was able to use them as such. I didn't like the color either, more rose than brown.

False advertising. Not what was pictured. Burgundy not brown. The flap cover straps will not tieten.

The photographer must be a magician. They look & feel cheap. I returned them immediately.

Not true to color at all its a burgundy color not brown and its a Velcro latch not a plastic one.

These look terrible and have no way whatsoever to attach to anything for a secure fit
