Just great! I have four of these and they look good in my room where I use them for extra storage. They are sturdy and suitable for sitting (with reasonable weight) and can be folded flat when not in use. I store the clean sheets for each room which leaves my linen closet free for other items.

This folding storage ottoman is just what I needed. Perfectly described by the seller and more roomier than expected. It fits with any decor and can also be used as a tray/table to flip lid up. I absolutely adore mine and will be ordering another soon from the same seller.

When I opened the package I was quite concerned that this was basically another storage cube like the canvas ones I own. It is not. It is very strong and the lid feels strong enough for feet or sitting. My purpose was to hide some medical type items (leg compression wraps & unit, heating pad, extra chair quilt, etc) I have near my living room chair. I would love one that is twice as long but this will do for now.

This is a great piece of furniture for a small condo unit like my new place.Not only it is a seat, but it can also be used as a storage or a tray for my sofa.I feel so comfortable to sit on it.It is so large to store many item inside, from books to pillows, curtains, food, snacks, beer, wine, glass...etcIt can also be easily folded to tuck it away when not in use.The design is excellent. It is very nice leather. There isn't any bad leather smell. It is strong and sturdy. The seat pad is very memory form like to cause a comfortable sitting position.It just stands so fine with my other ottomans in the house.I love it so much because it is very handy for many reasons:1. I can use it as an extra seat in my living room2. I can use it as a storage box to hide and organize my items3. I can use its lid as a tray to put my coffee/tea cup on it.4. I can use it as a foot rest.It is not small nor big. It looks very cute. The Beige color looks very fitting with my espresso colored sofa.I really enjoy having this Songmics ottoman in my house. I highly recommend it. What an excellent ottoman. I wish it has more colorful color option in the future.

I bought this to keep way in the back under my desk in my cubicle at work so after working 15+ hours and I got back to my desk I could put my feet up and relieve the pain in my legs and feet. I is easy to put together and feels plenty sturdy enough to store things in at home or sit on at home if I no longer need it at work. Best thing is I got the black one and when I'm not using it is so far back in the corner where I sit that no one but the janitor who has to vacuum the area even knows it's there.

I was searching for an inexpensive foot stool and came across this product which has the added benefit of also being a storage container/stool. I order one with the faux leather covering which looks good in my living room. The only issue that I have with this is the initial odor from the faux leather. Like many vinyl upholstered products, it can take a few days for that odor to dissipate. I left mine out on my balcony for a couple of days to air out and now it's pretty much odor free and is back in my living room. I'm thinking about buying a second one, so I would have a matching pair.

Love this. It's exactly what I needed. I just wanted some kind of foot rest for sitting at my desk. I've got a small blanket or two inside, but that was more like icing on the cake, I didn't really buy it for the storage. Color was as expected.

I bought the charcoal 2-pack. A lot sturdier and heavier than I expected! I'm using them for storage, one in my closet, for all the small stuff I had lying around, and the other one under my desk for storage and also to put my feet on. I won't be using it to sit on unless there's people in my room and no room to sit, but it seems sturdy enough to support someone's weight. One thing I did not like was the strong smell, but hopefully that goes away, as it does with most new stuff. It has a warning at the bottom saying it has something that acts as a carcinogen, so beware if you have kids or dogs. I knew that before I bought it (from the comments) but went ahead and bought it anyway, seeing as so many things nowadays can be carcinogens, and it's not like I'll be eating off of it anyway. I wish they offered more colors, as I was originally looking for black or navy ottomans, but the color isn't hideous.

These are great product. I didn't have much expectation considering these are made in China and its so inexpensive but I was pleasantly surprised with their quality. These came in a small box in a very clever packaging which allows them to be folded. Once you set it up, its quite sturdy, I weigh 150lb, at least its great in holding my weight.I highly recommend this.

Folding Storage .. if I didn't put it together myself (which was a three step process) I wouldn't even know it was foldable.I use it as my vanity bench now as the cushion is soft enough for me to sit on for hours . I usually have two people (125 lb. and 140 lb.) sitting on it at once. Holds great, never a doubt.I would recommend this for anyone looking! Ive looked on multiple websites, My pricing range was no higher then $50.00 (1.ashley furniture, To expensive) (2. Ikea *pricing just right but the product was material was cheap, not a strong hold) 3. Bed Bath and Beyond (some were in the right pricing range but not as big) (4. Target, to expensive), (5. K mart,to Expensive), (6. Walmart, Most people gave the worst reviews about the product) Amazon's was truly the best bang for your buck! Its a lighter grey then I though but still looks great. The bin inside of it is a little dinky as it comes with Velcro side straps that you hook to the edge of the ottoman, but if thats the worst part about this product it Im still an extremely happy customer!

Great product! A lot sturdier than expected. I'm 340 lbs and I can sit on it no problem. They're very roomy and are a great buy for how little they cost. My cats even love crawling inside them of the lid is off haha

Good item, but under desk watch out if you have a under table slider for keyboard, your shoes will hit it. Otherwise ok.

I do like this ottoman not as much as the previous one that I owned, its a little stiff, not enough cushion. Although I does serves its purpose. I use it at night to climb onto my at night bed and in the a.m. I use it as a stool to put my make up on.

Just what I wanted. I wanted something to put under my besk at work to put my feet up. It easily hold my feet. It like .4 secs to put together and it came in the mail super fast!

I purchased two of these "smallish" ottomans and they are the perfect compact size and sturdy seating for removing boots and shoes at the door. Storage is the plus.The price was very good.....the lightweight portability of these also makes them a good buy.I am very happy with this purchase.

I need a ottoman to go under my desk to kick my feet up when at my desk. Worked great. And I can store some junk in it as well if need be. Was worried that this thing folded out the way it does that it wouldn't feel solid .. I was wrong ... Very Solid. Price is a bit much for what it is but worth it for what I needed.

love this little footstool. also love the extra storage. i bought it so that my 20 year old cat could hop up on it & look out the window.perfect & not to tall. very pleased & it looks nice in my livingroom.

I bought this to house my toddlers tall toys. He has car slides and big awkward toy garages, and this fit all of them perfectly. It also comes with a little box that velcros inside to the top for your smaller items that you don't want to get lost at the bottom.The one (slightly serious) issue that I found is that my toddler was able to (very very easily) rip off the buttons on top of the lid. I would like to say my 1 year old had super human strength, but after I caught him in the act of yanking off the first one, I realized that these were quite loose. The buttons are definitely a choking hazard for a small kid, so I actually just removed all of them from the lid, by snipping the strings they were attached by (it's really just a couple of loops of thread, not the type of stronger material you would expect on an upholstered item). You can't even really tell that I took the buttons off, I included pics below, but if you have a little one, you should def be concerned about it being a choking hazard and remove the buttons immediately.

Super easy to put together, just simply take out of the box and unfold. Folds back up and packs slim when not in use. Top is sturdy and cushioned. Has a small tray storage container inside. Great purchase for $35 Prime shipping.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I needed a second footstool for occasional use for my new couch. Did not want to spend a lot of money. I was pretty skeptical, but the reviews were good. This little footstool is awesome. It is very sturdy. I ordered the dark charcoal gray, and it is very nice. For the price, I don't think you can do better. I wish it came in more colors.

I can't believe how solid these are. I'm 255 lbs and I stood on them and jumped and felt absolutely zero give. The material is nice and they assemble in 20 seconds. A really great buy for the price. I wish that there was more cushioning on the top, but that luxury is at a different price point.

I love them but don't let someone stand on them. They say they support 400 lbs...uhh no. They are cardboard and cloth. If you use them the way they are intended, they are just fine. I love to rest my feet it. I don't think it would be a good idea to put anything in them other than something really lightweight.

Attractive and comfortable budget item. The tweedy fabric isn't super heavy duty, as I expect maybe three years of use out of it before my cat claws it to the point of disposal, but the price is right and it does its job (storage and seating) just fine.

Looks nice & does seem somewhat sturdy. We've had it less than a month & it already has a rip so not a very quality product.

This is nice for what it is. Nice utility for placing things in. Not especially comfortable though when using it to rest my feet. I get that feel over my heel/ankle area getting sore after resting on it a bit due to it's lack of cushion.

These are just o.k. Not too strong, smelled a little funny. Served their purpose though.

The delivery was great, I got it within 24 hours. The size, the color and the design was exact the way it was described. It just had this pretty bad smell, I left it open for a while but after 2 days the scent was still very powerful. I had to return it.

We use this in the master closet for a bench when changing and it does fit the purpose and works well under light use and the storage could be helpful.If planning to place in a high traffic area, family room I would encourage looking for proper bench/ottoman construction. I do not believe this product would last 6 months and remain sturdy in a high use area or with kids of any age.

Great for guest room or decoration but not for everyday use. It's not sturdy at all so be careful

I was very happy with this purchase but today the lid broke at the corner. Not sure if it with hold together now. Was using it to store babies toys. Wish I could get a replacement lid.

A little flimsy if you want to move them around at all. Don't plan on storing anything heavy in them.

Nice quality and sturdy but fabric has a strong smell to it so I hesitate putting quilts or clothes in them .

I had to return this. It was durable, but like other reviewers, the strong odor was a deal breaker. It triggered headaches immediately for me. I let it sit out for several days and the odor was still there. Also, it was a bit too small for where I wanted it. 15" is a lot smaller than it sounds. Be sure to measure carefully before purchasing and if you are sensitive to smells, stay away.

Kind of flimsy, not what I had hoped for

You get what you paid for. It came with a small hole in the plastic-ish fabric on the side, it's very small, miserably uncomfortable, and I wish I had not bought it. However, it was really cheap so I should not have expected too much.

This looks very cheap in person and has a horrible chemical smell that won't go away.

We got this for my daughters dorm room to be a stool to step on to get into her lofted bed, sit on, and store stuff in. It looks great and functioned fine, but two months into using it it collapsed when she stepped on it and she hurt her leg. She weighs about 100 lbs. It's dangerous to use it for a step stool.

I was super excited about this, it arrived, not so excited...the lid seems to be good quality but it did not come with the large panel, so the sides are caving in. Disappointed, but I'll use it for the kids toys.

The bottom panel is missing from one of the ottomans. Very disappointed.

unfavorable quality

I used this to hold my makeup and to sit on while I put makeup on (great for a small space vanity). However after about 2 months it has fallen apart a bit. Half the time I'll sit on it and fall into the cube because the lid is falling apart so much. And I've sat on it a few times and been stabbed by some of the staples in it. It drew blood from my fingers. Would probably fine as a foot rest, but not great for every day sitting.

update on my review, I've had this for a couple months now and it is not holding up very well at all and I use it just to store my daughters play dresses in :/

I was impressed with the great ratings and the CARB P2 MDF rating, but I regret buying this item. It comes with instructions on how to deal with the off-gassing odor, basically leaving it to air out for a couple of days. I left it outside and thought it only smelled slightly, so I brought it into my den last night. Today, when I went down there, the whole room stinks like a strong chemical from this item. I am returning it.

Had a very strong chemical smell and a package slip inside the box stated the product is coated in fire retardant chemicals, which are known to have serious health effects. Be careful if you choose to buy this.

This item has a HORRIBLE and VERY STRONG chemical smell! It was very strong and instantly made my living room smell. I then tried to air it out for almost two weeks and it still smells too strong. I bought it to keep my daughters toys in, but the chemical smell is too much to handle. I returned this product.

Terrible product broke already

Beware! Stank alert. The smell is sickening. I'm trying to air it out but no luck so far. I'll probably end up donating it to the Salvation Army.

Seems to work fine as a container but what makes this product not ok to use is the very bad smell that emanates from it even though we've aired it out outside for the last 3 and a half weeks. Still smells like something industrial that you shouldn't be smelling, let alone all the time in your living room. At this point we would return it if we hadn't tossed the packaging. We are going to throw it out instead.

Used it for a week and it fell apart at the corners. Very cheap product. Forget sitting in it you can't even put clothes on it. It is awful quality
