Good quality, does the job fine.
June 26, 2017
I needed these for work. No microphone, just wired headphones. I was gonna get the Amazon Basics one but they were the same price so I opted with Sony. I see lots of people with these for music. I don't use them for music, primarily so I can't say too much about sound quality although I'm confident they're fine for the average user. Good design, foldable, comfortable, and adjustable. No complaints.
Comfortable and affordable
May 19, 2017
Very comfortable headphones that provide excellent sound quality. I like how the cord is long so you can use these even when you are on the treadmill. Music comes through very clearly, and your ears are not compressed to the point of discomfort. Most of the time, when something is this inexpensive, the product probably sucks. But not this time-- I highly recommend these affordable, comfortable headphones from Sony.
Best Headphones I've had!
May 17, 2017
These headphones are the best I have ever bought. I'm not a big fan of earbuds, so I am constantly looking for good Headphones to get. These have been amazing! For the price, you get what you want and so much more. They are so durable as well, I've had them for 2 years and they are still rocking!I love Sony and its quality products. I totally recommend these for anyone who wants to get good things at a lower price :)
By Far The Most Comfortable, Especially With Glasses
August 8, 2016
I had a pair from this headphone line in the past, and used them until they basically fell apart (one side stopped working, and the cushioning material for the ears eventually peeled away.) And yet after trying myriad other brands, I rate these as my personal best. After my first pair died (took several years of daily use), I went on a quest to try a bunch of different headphones. After wasting hundreds of dollars over the past couple years on everything from fancy $200 pairs, cheap Amazon-branded pairs, and plenty of random ones from places like Big Lots or Walmart, I finally just came back to these for a meager $15. There's simply no beating the combination of comfort (especially for people with glasses!), sound quality, and price. I work in front of a computer for hours at a time, and almost always have headphones (and eye glasses) on. I probably have a larger than average head shape too. Every single other pair I have tried ended up making my ears hurt before long, except this one. While the construction quality is decent, I do expect to run through a new pair every couple years, but at this price point, it's really hard to complain. In summary, I am so thankful these are back in my life.
Best Bang for Buck
January 16, 2015
These headphones are the definition of "bang for your buck." I actually own their predecessor, the MDR-ZX100. There is a little more bass than the 100s, but it's not going to blow you away. The cans do a good job of delivering music at high volumes with no distortion. The jack is more slender than the 100s, and should fit into most iPhone cases (fits into mine with no problem). The inline mic picks up my voice just fine, but note there are no volume controls. Just one button to wake up Siri or to pause music. The 110s also fold up a little more nicely than the 100s, and they will fit nicely in my backpack while laying flat.I suppose if there is a drawback, it's that Sony used a glossy plastic for the exterior of the cans. That means you'll have fingerprints visible. But that's all I can think of as as drawback.Overall, if you are looking for a replacement for an aging set, even if they are the 100s, I'd say go for it. If the inline mic is not something you think you'll use, there's a version without one that will save you a few bucks.
A good pair of headphones at a near unbeatable price!
January 3, 2015
Part of the reason I am giving these headphones a five-star rating is the incredible price I got them for on amazon - $10! For just $10, these are excellent headphones! I picked up a couple pairs so that my kids can use them in the van on long car rides when they want to watch a movie on the portable DVD player. We used them over our Christmas holiday travels, and my wife has been taking them to the gym with her, too, for use with the treadmill monitor. (We both despise earbuds and consider them one of the worst inventions of the century!)Hopefully, these will last a lot longer than the no-name discount headphones my wife purchased at the local drugstore last year. Those were more expensive than these and we had problems with those after only six months of use. Both of those have gone into the garbage can and have been replace with these Sony headphones. Definitely an upgrade!

like'em so much, I bought two.
August 16, 2017
I've been using these for 10 months. I purchased them because they have what I describe as an analog volume control. Many earbuds offer volume control, but this really means a remote control for the volume in your phone, mp3 player or so on. Enter in the SanDisk Clip mp3 player. On it's lowest volume it's still too loud, lower the volume and there's no sound. Theses earbuds solve that problem, because you can lower the volume independent of the mp3 player.Quality of sound is also very good. I don't pretend to be a sound expert, but I do hear bass and treble that more expensive earbuds don't produce in both radio and my music. I like these so much, I ordered a second pair, but I've never had to open them. Even with falling asleep and using these for ten months, they still work perfect, no broken wires, never lost a rubber ear piece. Finally the cord is also very hard to tangle.
Buying a spare--- just what I needed
May 22, 2017
comes in a nice plastic case with 3 extra sets of ear bud gels.... and two soft plastic over the ear holders ( I didnt expect these)The ear buds are comfortable in the ear even when fully inserted. Those extra over the ear holders are super easy to setup if I decide I need them when walking or exercising, They are a soft gel plastic also and don't even know they are there. The cord is a no-tangle cord which I really need..Also, comes with a mic -clipThese are a bargainOH the sounds quality is VERY GOOD
By far the best "in ear" headset I've ever owned!
April 6, 2017
These freakin' rock! I cannot even begin to tell you how many headsets I've gone through in my lifetime. You drop your phone, the headset gets ripped out of you ears and breaks. Tablet drops off your lap, again the headphone break. Shorts in the headsets.... not THESE babies. They've been through all of that including the door of my car closing on them and have not broken. The rubber pads are very soft and interchangeable with multiple sizes included in the case AND the rubber pillows DON'T fall off and get lost! I've even slept with these in my ears when I've gone to sleep and even though I am a side sleeper with my ear on the pillow, I don't wake up with sore ears. I've bought additional sets: One for work, one for the car and one for home just for myself. I love that all the colors these come in make it easy for your kids to know at a glance whose earphones belong to whom. These earphones also have great sound and work great with phones too. There is a click "off" button at the vee of the cable so that you don't have to search for your phone to end the call. Crystal clear sound. You will get a lot of use out of these earphones.
If you have loud kids and you like to listen to books or want to work out in peace these are amazing
July 22, 2016
I have bought so many headphones over the years and the main problem with all of them is that I can hear my kids screaming through my headphones. Not these, even if you're not at full blast and you're like medium with your volume on your headphones on your phone, it totally blocks out all noise around you. Their high quality, they are very pretty. And I don't have to listen to my kids yell, fight and bicker her all summer long! A mother's dream!
The best $10 earbuds you'll ever buy
December 17, 2015
Great fidelity! I go through a LOT of headphones. And I mean a LOT. I've murdered approximately 20 sets of earbuds with mic over the last 8 months alone. I work in a lab, and they get caught on EVERYTHING. So I was looking for some that looked a little more sturdy than the ones I buy from Fasttech.com and of higher audio quality. These fit the bill perfectly! They sound great, and I really mean GREAT! They're earbuds, so they're not going to be super high-quality when it comes to sound production, but these are among the best I've used in this regard. I've had vastly more expensive headphones that didn't sound as good or hold up as well as these. The cord is a little shorter than I'm used to, but that actually helps to keep me from catching them on things and ripping the plug out of the jack on my phone. The volume control does sometimes get caught on my tie or shirt and go down. When the volume slider is all the way down, there is ZERO sound coming out of the buds. Most others just cut the sound down enough you can't hear it unless it's quiet around you, but these produce nothing. So it gets a little disorienting sometimes. I'll hit the button to restart my audio book and when it doesn't come on I spend a little more time finding the cause than I used to. But that isn't really a complaint, more of an observation. These are absolutely worth the $10. I wouldn't buy them if they were even a few dollars more because I go through so many pairs the cost can be exorbitant. That said, I still am yet to experience even a slight loss of sound or fidelity in either ear.
Incredible.
September 9, 2015
These are far and away the best headphones I've ever had the pleasure of using. Mind you, I'm used to the complimentary iPhone sets. These provide very crisp sound with a degree of noise cancellation. For the price. They rock. I'd even be willing to pay more for quality like this. They are shorter than my preferred length, but I doubt I'll notice that after a couple days.

Very Good Headphones for the Price
June 4, 2017
Good headphones for the price. Sound is good not great you would need to buy more expensive headphones for better quality. I bought it for comfort since any headphones in my ears gets uncomfortable and always pops out if I move my head. I love that it has a Mic so I can answer calls on my cell phone when listening to music or an audio book. Also love it for conference calls because it covers both my ears and helps keeping noise around me from being a distraction.
These were great for the price when I needed new headphones
April 7, 2017
These were great for the price when I needed new headphones. They're not going to be studio quality, but they're good. Better than apple headphones for sure. If you're looking for studio quality ones, I'd invest in some Audio Technica's. These are good headphones though, and I used them for a long time before deciding to buy studio quality ones. For the price, they're very good.
Great sounding headphones at a great price!
June 21, 2016
These are great sounding headphones. There is a ridiculous slew of endorsed, unbelievably overpriced, bad sounding headphones out there lately. Don't be silly and stick with the tried and true. If you need to pick a status symbol, pick something other than headphones. How about a face tattoo? ...Please do consider these things carefully.
These headphones are light and comfortable with good sound quality
May 28, 2015
This is exactly what I've been looking for. These headphones are light and comfortable with good sound quality. I can wear them for hours with no discomfort at all. They don't squeeze my head, make my ears sweat or do any of those unpleasant things other headphones have done. My only complaint is that people can't hear me very well through the microphone. I find I have to quickly pull the headphones out if someone calls me while I'm listening.FYI The cable is about 3 feet long. But as I bought these primary to listen to music I'm only taking one star off.
This is a good set of headphones to throw around and not worry ...
February 12, 2015
This is a good set of headphones to throw around and not worry too much if I break it given its cost. The plastic headband started to weaken and spread quite a lot only after a few weeks of light use, but again, given the cost I am not too worried if I break it - but I'm knocking a star off for it. I wouldn't buy another one pair if the band breaks because I don't have a large head and the band stretching this much shouldn't happen for an average sided noggin. The stretched band also results in a looser fit which means a reduced seal with the ear that lets in ambient noise. The ear pads are comfortable despite sitting on the ears for hours some days - maybe that's due to the spread headband. The set is pretty light. The cord is on the longish side if you just use this with your cell phone. The lows frequencies are almost nonexistent. There's just enough to let you know there's a drummer pounding the bass, but it's definitely nothing overpowering and not punchy or boomy - it's just barely there. The mids are recessed and slightly veiled and the highs are just meh - I don't think there's much reach on the high end. But really, this is nitpicking because these sound so much better than a $200 seat of Beats and an outstanding value at $15 which is what I paid for mine. I think these go as low as $10 on occasion. For the cost of a set of winter ear muffs, I have a decent set of headphones that play music well enough for mass transit commuting - and also keeps my ears warm ;)My better set is Audio Technica's ATH-A900x which are probably on low end of the high end, but those are too unwieldy to take outside imho. So comparing these two headphones, I can easily say the set of Sony's has great price to performance ratio.
Great iPhone music headphone, not so great for phone calls
February 9, 2015
Got this to use with iPhone 5s. Description said it would work for both music and phone calls. It works perfectly as a headset for music -- quality rivals much more expensive headphones. Where it falls down is in phone call management. When I use it I get complaints from callers that I'm breaking up to a point where I take the headphones off and use the phone directly. Also, if I have the headphone on and playing when a call comes in, when I take the call the sound doesn't come through the headphone -- I have to unplug the headphone and plug it in again. The mic/on/off button is very touchy, and sometimes turns off the music when I am moving around. That's a bit annoying. Maybe it needs a clip so that it remains stationary when the person moves around.I bought this because I'm going to be in the hospital for a while and I wanted to listen to music and take phone calls without disturbing my roommate. Not sure it's going to work that way... but for $20 it's a great set of headphones.

Great product, especially for the price.
February 1, 2017
So far these are great, especially for the price. I leave them at work and with the ear hook find them comfortable to wear all day. The sound quality isn't a good as my more expensive headphones but it is clear and not tinny like the cheap ear buds tend to be. I love that I can pause from the cord rather than turn my phone off and access my podcast app. Very nice design and many accessories to help fit any ear. I've had them for about a month now and use them 4 days a week so hopefully they will last a good amount of time.
terrible. Static noise during first use
June 19, 2016
Returned, terrible. Static noise during first use.Update: Stoon sent me another pair to try and the sound quality is good. However, for some reason when anything touches the headphone stem connecting to the phone, it either pauses or triggers voice command. Not the best product, but excellent customer service.
The headphones came in a nice plastic package
May 4, 2016
The headphones came in a nice plastic package, maybe accurately called a box. I'm pleased with the sound quality itself, and the wide range of earbud tips is a welcome luxury. The cord seems strong, and the bass is definitely powerful. Overall, after nearly three weeks of usage, I'm happy with the headphones, and would be willing to purchase them again.4 stars instead of 5, because the label on the package is "Mosidun" - a Google search led me to a page on DHGate (I believe) where these are being sold in bulk for just under $4. So I removed a star for the nearly 200% markup - not entirely fair to the consumer.
Great sound! Base is nice
March 3, 2016
Great sound! Base is nice! Really nice carrying case and multiple ear size peaces. Strong cable and good quality integrity. The R and L ear peaces are a little bit difficult to make out but not that big of an issue.Con: the ear buds are far from the microphone. Making calls you have to bring the microphone closer to your mouth.

Not impressed
November 3, 2017
I'm not as impressed with these headphone as other reviewers. So far they've sat in a drawer for the majority of time I've owned them because they don't stay in your ears during any kind of physical activity. They're fine if you're just sitting there or laying still, but I don't know how many times these earbuds fell out or were pulled out of my ears because I moved slightly and the cord (which is too short) got yanked.
Not as good as they use to be
August 14, 2017
This is 3rd time I ordered these earbuds. While the sound is still excellent and crisp, the earbuds seem to only last 4 month each time. This new pair also doenst have as good of a mic. The mic seems to be further away from my face and I have to pull up closer in order for my calls to hear me.
Love the durability of the earphones
September 22, 2016
Love the durability of the earphones. Can put them in my pocket on- the- go without having to worry about the cords being damaged. Sound good. Have to hold the mic to be heard. Plus the mic brushes against your chest
They're alright
September 6, 2016
I wasn't too impressed with these earbuds. They sound okay for $10, but I've bought earbuds for only $5 more that sounded much better. I only used them for a few weeks before deciding to get better ones, but at least they got me through when I didn't have earbuds
Not as good as you think they're gonna be.
January 7, 2016
These headphones come in cheap wiring and the volume button is actually a slider so it doesn't change the volume from your phone. The sound quality is alright and it has a lot of bass but for me it wouldn't fit in my ear at all. I guess for 10$ you get what you pay for though. Nothing special, so if you were expecting 50$ headphones you are going to be EXTREMELY disappointed. I'm not going to to purchase these ever again.
Good sound and feel sturdy and solid
December 24, 2015
Good sound and feel sturdy and solid. I do have problems connecting these to my iPhone 6. They randomly pause/skip my music and also I can't use them for phone calls because they periodically end the call. It seems like the headphone jack is messing with the internal parts of the phone causing some problems when I move it around. Normal iPhone headphones don't have this issue so I doubt its 100% my phone's problem.

July 13, 2015
Received them quickly but they are difficult to keep in the ears despite trying all the various sizes of rubber tips. Unable to control the volume on either a ROKU or an analog radio. I'll try some other devices as time permits but doubt that they will work. Should have purchased something better.

This headphone definitely did not meet my expectations for a Sony brand. The sound is flat. The cord seems to be already shorting after the second use and even though the sound is flat i expected at least a sound of clarity. This Sony headphone really let me down coming from a brand i trust and purchase all the time. If i had one good thing to say about this item is that it's comfortable on the ear.

June 12, 2017
Wtf? Where are these positive reviews coming from? To be fair- I didn't listen through these. Why not? I couldn't stand to have them perched and pinching my head. These are the most ill-fitting, small and uncomfortable headlines ever. Good for 9 year old kids.

Really shoddy and defective product with no return shipping
March 26, 2017
I think the seller of these headphones is selling counterfeit copies of Sony equipment but I don't know where to report this activity. After plugging them into my work computer, both sound jacks (front and back) were immediately disabled. IT came over to update the sound drivers and after, they only worked in the back jack with really bad sound, but the cord was way too short to reach me even in a seated position (it's like a 4-foot cord). They're also really uncomfortable and press against the edges of your ears. The seller would not pay return shipping, so that's your first hint that they're peddling counterfeits. Either that or these headphones are just really bad, but a lot of people have Sony headphones... so I don't know who to believe.
Very, very disappointed and frustrated with these headphones.
August 29, 2016
These headphones sound great, but the wires are weak and break really easily. While at work, I have to have rubber bands around my phone and the headphones cord for them to work, but they still cut in and out and I constantly have to adjust the rubber bands. It is extremely frustrating and I don't even want a replacement, because those will be disposable too.

Doesn't connect properly to my phone even when I remove the case. With any slight movement it activates ok google when I use it on my phone because the part connecting the cord and the audio jack is too loose. I can only use it on my laptop or on my amplifier.

Absolutely awful headphones. On my iPhone 6 these headphones would activate Siri automatically, hang up phone calls, fast forward music, change songs, and turn music off randomly. I went to groupon and bought Apple EarPods from groupon for $12.
If your phone is "broken," it may just be these headphones
November 14, 2015
These headphones were terrible for me. When I plug them into my iPhone 6, they interact poorly with the digitizer. Causing the phone to think I was pressing buttons. I could not even listen to a podcast without the app fast forwarding or pressing the home button every few seconds. Thanks to these headphones, I wasted many hours at the Apple Store and spent ever more hours wondering what was wrong with my phone. 1 new phone later, I realized the problem was with the headphones. I do not have this issue with any other pair of headphones or any auxiliary cords.
