The price is right for what they are...
February 20, 2017
This is an inexpensive set of throw over saddle bags. I was after something inexpensive that I could fill with padding to be "bumpers" to protect my motorcycle in case of a low speed tip over. I'm a new rider so protecting the bike from mishaps is an issue. Since installing these I've dropped the bike and it landed on these bags on the back and the engine guard up front, thus preventing any damage. To give you an idea of the size, I was able to put two empty one gallon water jugs into each side to pretty much fill the bags. There is one metal ring on each side to tie the bags down. It would be nice to have two rings on each side so that I could secure the bag front and back, but there aren't.They seem durable enough for my current use, but I haven't had them in any weather so don't know how they will hold up.
Fantastic product for the price
September 15, 2016
While I would love a full set of Wolfman bags for my bike, I just can't drop the money for that right now. However, as a low cost alternative, these things are incredible. The canvas feels very rugged and the construction appears to be sturdy. I haven't loaded them down to see what happens yet, but they work just fine for my 70 mile round trip commute stuffed with text books, my lunch, a sweater, and a few other misc things. These aren't flashy at all, but I have grown to love them - they are just an old-school quality rugged product - like something from my grandfather's generation - a canvas bag with tough fasteners that will probably last longer then I will be riding motorcycles. Honestly, for the price I was expecting something to last me for the summer, and I would have been OK with that - but I was shocked at tough these things are.
Good bag, good price
July 10, 2016
I had to cut the middle of the bag and re-sew in order to place it under my motorcycle seat so that it would not come close to the tailpipe. This was not a problem and easy to do. In fact, I was very much amazed that it is a double piece of canvas. The bag holds up exceedingly well. I would recommend buying a guard so that the bag does not have any chance of getting caught in the wheels. I would highly recommend this product. The fact that it can change its shape is better then any rectangle box that attaches to the side. Besides I can access my helmet lock with this when I would not be able to with a rigid bag.
Excellent for the late 40's - early 50's look!
February 5, 2016
Exactly what I was looking for. Very old school retro bags.Sort of army surplus gear look which goes well with my old looking Drifter 1500.They are not large, they are actually quite small so I am getting another one to use both. One over the seat that I will sit on, and one behind that one over the rack.I use roll top dry bags to keep things dry but don't like the modern colorful look. Now I can put the dry bags inside these canvas look bags. And the price is fantastic!
Really great buy for the money
January 17, 2016
Really great buy for the money, I use these as my everyday saddle bag and use my nicer and larger water proof ones for my long trips. Here are two pictures of them on my bike. You really cant beat 'em for the price.

I put this on my Triumph and it looks awesome. I had to modify it slightly so it would stay on at highway speeds but if you can tie your shoes u can handle it.

Great product, super fast shipping
September 14, 2017
Great product, super fast shipping, and very durable. The ONLY reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is due to the lacking of a second "D" ring on the bottom of the bags to fasten them to the bike with. I had to add an eyelet to secure it so it didn't flop around at 70+mph. If for some reason these wear out, I will buy it again. To the seller, PLEASE start producing in black, I will purchase another set right away if you do!!!
Great - But not great on a Yamaha Bolt with a slip on
July 12, 2017
Didn't work for my motorcycle, (Yamaha Bolt with V&H Slip On). But I wish they would have. They're not perfect, but for $20ish bucks, they're pretty great. In my case I had to send them back because they sat right behind my exhaust pipe and the pipe was blowing directly onto the bag. Not exactly idea. However, I still give them 4 stars. Had they fit on my bike, I would have kept them.
A Winner
August 29, 2016
As many else have said this is great value product. I am completely satisfied with quick solution for me carrying every thing in a back pack. Now I am using the bags on my sport bike in a unconventional way I put them over my gas tank. Why some mite ask why, a RC8 doesn't have much of a tail and did have an idea of using the passenger seat lock to secure the bags to the bike. Before this happened I took a fast trip to the store threw the bags over the tank. Then realized just it was just what I needed. The bags clear the handle bars don't slide and hold what I need. Another up side easy to just throw over the shoulder and off I go. I have not taken anything longer than 15 mile trip like this in city type of traffic. I do have to say for what I spent this is a win.
They hold my sandwich nice and safe.
June 23, 2016
I could have spend a $100 on a nice set of leather bags but i'd be risking durability. I know that the duck cotton these are made of are durable and for the price I figured it would solve the problem of storage on my motorcycle. I put these on my gl1000 inbetween the seat and rear fender, poking some of the bolts that were in the way through the saddlebags. For the price they fit the job well and even if they only last one season I would feel like I got my moneys worth. They fit a 12" sandwich, some sunglasses, gloves, a couple energy drinks. I really just wanted them to go out for lunch during work or run to the grocery store and pick up some ingredients for dinner. You'd probably be able to fit a 6 pack of bottles in each one or a bottle of wine. The problems I have with these is that they are floppy, they hit the tire on my bike. It doesn't really bother me but it's chewing up the fabric on the back. They are also quite difficult to get into quickly but they cinch closed well and I'm confident they won't come open. In the picture the front and back edges are tucked in but from my experience after a ride those edges flop out and make the bags not looks as nice but provide a convenient way to quickly get in and out of the bags. I think it is intended to tie these edges up but my rides don't usually last longer than 40 minutes and I don't need to secure cargo to that degree.I did also get asked which kids bicycle I stole these bags off of so there's that.
Easy To Pack In Top Case
December 21, 2015
These bags fit on my Kymco 2016 Like 200i perfectly and have enough room in them for a few quick trip groceries I also like the idea that they made of canvas and I'm able to fold them up and put them in my top case and use them as needed without having to leave them on the scooter or in any kind of weather.
Looks way cooler than nylon bags!
October 4, 2015
These are pretty cool! They fit just fine on my Kawi 250 with the older body. I tied them down to the cargo hooks and it stays on just fine.Issues: There is a d-ring on each bag to tie them down. You need to do this if you plan on doing any freeway riding, else the bags flap and flop in the wind. The issue is this. While the d-ring on one bag faces the front of the bike and can be tied off to the lift handle or frame, the second d-ring is not as well positioned. The second ring faces the back of the bike which gives you nothing to tie it off to. I would recommend putting a few grommets in the canvas to help with tying things down.As a final thought, I'd recommend waxing the crap out of the canvas before you attach it to the bike. I've had mine a a month or two now and the canvas has suffered from the constant exposure. Color fades out pretty quick in the southern California sun. Treating the canvas would have helped a lot.

Straps are wider than d-ring, so quickly untying them ...
April 9, 2017
Straps are wider than d-ring, so quickly untying them isnt an option here, fabric is holding up decent after coating with water proofing.
... use them a lot to carry groceries it is amazing how much you can stuff in
February 18, 2017
they have held up really well and i use them a lot to carry groceries it is amazing how much you can stuff in them
if you are looking for something cheap then this is good for the price
October 18, 2016
i am smack dab in the middle when it comes to this bag. if you are looking for something cheap then this is good for the price. that is for sure! I fit a good amount in the bags when i went on my trip. the issue was feeling confident it wasn't going to hit my tires when i was ridding. you're better off buying a bag that sits on the top of your seat and then an attachment on the sides of that bag.
Not a bad product, but you get what you pay for
May 31, 2016
Not a bad product, but you get what you pay for. Got to use these bags once, stopped to get gas and the bottom on the bag moved to barely touch my exhaust and burned a large hole right through the canvas. My advice, buy different bags, or make sure you tie them up extra high
It'll do for now.
May 25, 2016
Overall, for what I paid, its OK. I like the fabric and the colors. You'll have to be creative as to how to tie it on to whatever you'll be using it with. The closures are HORRIBLE to manipulate. I would imagine after a long time, they'll soften up and get better with time but by then, it wont look as good either and the fabric will be worn. I'm going to try and finagle something for the closures. Oh, and they really don't hold much. Each pouch is about 2/3 of a paper grocery back so you won't go camping with just these as storage. Still, for $20ish, it'll do until I get something better with more research.

Disappointing
October 9, 2017
I specifically searched for saddle bags that would fit a Honda dirt bike my husband has. I thought these would be great, but they don't fit. They're way too wide. Now I see that other people reviewed with ways they modified the bags to fit their bike. I'm sending these back, disappointed. I wanted them to work, because I liked them, but they do not work.

so that's nice. But it's shockingly tiny

I mean, it's $20, so that's nice. But it's shockingly tiny, and has no way to stop it from getting tangled in your rear wheel.

Mmm, better to pay a little more for a legit saddle bag on a dirt bike.
October 7, 2014
I had these in mind for my dirt bike and they are kind of cool looking, but they are definitely not made for a dirt bike. I should have figured that, but I might as well put some input for those looking to make the same mistake as me. Plus, they're not really made how I was hoping. Knew it'd be made cheap, but I was hoping for the loop hole at the base of the bag to be opposite of the loop hole on the top, they are on the same side, so I cannot secure the bag at all without making the bag all jumbled up. Not worth buying if you have a plan. It will someday find a use, somewhere, but who knows when.

Crap......do not buy
September 11, 2016
don't
Should have returned it.
February 2, 2016
Should have returned it. The bottom part of the saddle bag only has one metal loop on each bag which means the wind will raise it up like a wing. It would have been better with two loops on each bag. Also, it doesn't appear to be waterproof.

Came with no instructions on how to set it up and all of the pictures online were the same one shown on amazon. Spent an entire bike trip untangling it from my spokes. Fairly certain it is actually meant for dogs.
