I bought this due to the price and high reviews. I am so glad that I did not go spend a lot of money on a different strobe light! This is perfect for my outdoor halloween cemetery. It works well with a fog machine and seems to be pretty durable. Keep in mind that it is very small, which, for me works well for hiding it. However, the small compact design might not be what some people are looking for. I highly recommend this strobe light for anyone who need a small compact strobe light.

Bought this for my nine year old bit, it works perfect for his bedroom, he and his friends love it!

I purchased this to use as a Halloween decoration. I however thought for $10 how good could it be so I purchased another one from a local Halloween store while I was waiting for this to be delivered.when this was received I was very happy with the performance and the brightness. The more expensive one from the Halloween store does not even compare.

Loving it! Good in combination with "Supertech 12 Color Changes RGB Sound Actived 10W 2 IN 1 Mini Rotating Magic Ball Stage Lights For KTV Xmas Party Wedding Show Club Pub Disco DJ" and water speakers with dubstep. Decent cord length with adjustable fluctuation knob. Came at a decent time with dual packaging.

I bought this light about a month ago to add a little fun effect for when I have parties. Even thought the light is small, which is the reason I bought it, it packs a punch! The light is a bright blue and the adjusting knob is nice in order to allow the user to have more control. The size is nice and it lights up a decent sized bedroom pretty well. I have to say I am very pleased with this light and would purchase it again, especially at the cheap price for its quality!

Love this mini disco ball. My kids had a blast when I turned it on. We'll use this during holiday parties with family & friends.

I ordered this little gem for my porch. I thought it would add some fun and color to the area while friends were over. The funny thing is I actually took it to work and put it on during a boring meeting and people loved it! It is little things in life that people can appreciate. If you want something that is fun and easy to set up and use I would suggest this product to anyone.

Great product for the price! I use it as a Mice and Bird Repellent to annoy them away. One in basement at night for mice and one on window facing out in early morning for woodpecker along with mini strob light, plugged on timer. I am planning to order more.

I use this light as a back-up accent to our normal stage lighting. Perfect for adding a little color and movement to the show. Looks great when paired with a smoke machine as well. Pretty solid construction though the "lens" is a bit flimsy....that being said, if stored securely and treated with care it should last a while. They screw that holds the lens does need to be checked periodical to make sure it stays tight. If your looking for a cheap way to add some moving color to your DJ, band, or Karaoke party, this little unit is totally worth it.

This light is amazing it's pretty small but it's able to light up a whole room and it looks great. When the package arrived it was smaller than I had expected but it is still able to light up the whole room. I've used it outdoors and it works tremendously well. I'm really happy with this I'm thinking about ordering more.

I really did not know what to expect when I bought this item, but I figured I would try it anyway. I did a party last night with two of these and a couple of strobe lights. I must say I was very well pleased with the results. They covered the area as if they were high dollar lights and worked all night without compromise. I have bought over 500 dollars worth of lights for a club and worrying about duty cycles and mounting them was a pain. I would recommend these to any DJ on a tight budget

Works well

I love this product because unlike the battery operated models it plugs in with the rest of my light so I can set the timer and forget about it until the season is over. Also has variable speeds. Must have for Halloween in my opinion.

This is such a great addition to my other stage lights that I had for my parties. The price was right while packaging and delivery were good and timely. I thought it would be bright as other reviews said but it was not the case, it's just ok. I wish that it can give stronger light.

The strobe light worked great, but was a blue light... In their defence, it did say that on the description, it was just far enough down to where I didn't see it. Overall, it's good for the price but the blue light was a bit of a bust.

Works for what I'm using it for. Light is very cool if you're using it for film. Not very strong though.

Worked pretty good.. I would agree its not overly bright, but in a small area it will do the job for what you need. Dont expect it to be a club, but in a 10x10 area it works fine.

This was the hit of the new years party. This small, lightweight light is very bright. Getting the right angle to optimize was the challenge. Need another one to cover the whole area. Will definitely get another one.

The center screw keeps loosening and causing the front cover to fall off when in use. I have tightened them and they still loosen up. Very frustrating but the lights are bright and have bought 4 all.together.

I love this disco ball. It projects lights and colors vividly in a room, I use it for my group fitness class and they love it. I wish I came with a better stand-it broke shortly after I bought it but we rigged our own easily that worked better, and you do have to make sure to keep the top pin screwed in or it will not spin. For the money it is a great investment! I plan on buying another one

Did everything it was supposed to do it and more. Completely fills our college apartment here at UCSB and we were able to have a really fun party with it. the only drawback is how short the cord is (need an extension cord most likely) and the tripod stand isn't too flexible. But the light and coverage it offers is awesome for the price!

Good, fun light for kids night light or use for a party. The lights cover a large area. Product craftsmanship is poor quality easily broken. The price is totally worth the product.

This product was purchased to be a part of my 2016 Halloween display. I feel it will suit its purpose. It is a small unit but very bright. The knob on the back of the unit works well to increase or decrease the speed of the flashes. If you play with the setting a bit you can get it to where it gives you a bit of the "stop motion" effect, but it's not perfect. I plan on buying another and placing them inside of the dark house, flashing onto the windows to give it a creepy effect.Fair price for a decent light. It could be used for stage lighting (think lightning effect), parties, Halloween, etc. You could even plug this unit into a motion sensor and use it to scare away critters.

Ok, ok. I know I paid next to nada for this thing. With that in mind I'll tell you what you won't get with this strobe light. You won't get a room filled with bright light, the LEDs are quite cheap and don't throw a whole lot of light at really any distance. I thought there would be a difference between this unit that plugs in and the battery operated ones. Not really. You will not get the stop motion action that strobe lights are known for. The light never really goes off to create that effect, this is more like an adjustable flashing light rather than a strobe. LEDs are great replacements for many types of lighting. This is not one of them. Other than that it does flash and would be great for a small Halloween effect. It shipped quick had came decently packaged.

Not as bright as expected

The description of the strobe light mentioned that it has two modes of operations i.e. Sound and Auto. However, it has only one which is Auto. Also noticed some slight scratches on the front glass. The shipping was real fast I must say. Overall, am ok with this product.

Smaller than I expected.

It's okay but I expected a little more. My last one just died but for the price, I couldn't beat it, so I got another. A spindle inside rotates the dome which throws RGB LED lights around a small space. It's perfect for my small studio when I'm on the air, DJing. Since people can log on and watch, I have a disco ball and the lights look nice.This one works better than the last, so perhaps I got a dud. The first one I got is still going, so two out of three isn't bad...

The plastic clear cover came off, I was able to get it back on, but keeps falling off. Only had it for a few months.

Its a nice light, However it does stop spinin if turned on its side, (I did fix this issue by turning the middle peace tight.)

Lights are cool, but the cord is too short.

Good for a an average sized room. Has its own stand which makes it easier to place it anywhere. Makes the party more fun. Worth the investment.

When it works, it can fill up a room beautifully. The colorful lights are also vibrant. The only problem that I have is after about 15 minutes of operation, the screw in the middle, (which attaches the plastic dome to the housing), works itself loose and the screw falls off along with the dome.

I don't like them calling these strobes. Strobes mimic a camera flash and this product does not do that. This is equivalent to a small flashlight blinking and not truly a stobe. Does works well when multiple units are used, but by all means this is not a strobe. This does not cover a lot of area so you'll need multiples of this product to really make any lighting impact. I specifically used this in a haunted house environment where I was able to light specific object, but nothing more.

It looks like it would be a light that goes over the whole room but it acts more like a blinking flash light

It is so tiny. It it so ridiculous that it's amusing. The light is dim and doesn't work right because it's so small. I got it for my daughter but really, all she can use it for is her dolls.

There isn't anything wrong with the light, is is just not as strong at all as what I thought I was buying based on other reviews. It was not strong enough to illuminate a dark room enough for the effect to be any fun for my kids to play in on Halloween. I'll probably just throw it out since I don't know what I can use it for if it can't be used for that.

Loved it at first... after 8 hours of run time in first week it simply died !Very Poor Quality internals...:(

Almost exactly like the rotating RGB bulbs for sale on amazon. The difference is that this uses a plug instead of a socket and also it has to be perfectly vertical to rotate.

i ask for two and one of them was not working

Worked perfectly the first 4-5 times and casted a pretty good light show, but now the past few times we used it, the plastic dome keeps unscrewing off and the plastic tripod threading stripped since it's made of plastic threads. The bonus would be if it lasted for multiple uses otherwise might expect it to fall apart with minimal use.

It wasn't what I expected! Very small and intermediate! Doesn't have sensor to change the speed of rotation based on sound or music, but then for the price I paid I should have not expected anything better than this! Over all it's good for kids parties.

It did entertain me for a week or so and then stopped working. I wouldn't recommend this at all.

Ordered green and received blue... Cheap and not a strobe.. Closer to a cheap small pumpkin light so may use it for that...have been trying to find a real stop action strobe light like they had in the 1980s.. At any price.. No luck..

This item only seems to work is pointed strait up. Cheaply made it doesn't spin if at all angled. Would have gave it no stars but it wasn't a option. Total garbage.

Plugged into a standard 110v home outlet. It worked great for maybe 2 minutes... Something inside popped and flashed. Checked it out to see if it was something that could be fixed. Not much circuitry inside these, but I figure it was the coil or the capacitor that burned out. They are very very cheap and cheaply made. Manually turning the motor spindle with your hand while unplugged is enough to power the LEDs. Also didn't get the tripod, just the "L" bracket and screw which was loose in the box.Couldn't fix it so sending it back. Pretty much garbage even for the price. DO NOT BUY.

I really enjoyed the light show for my grooming shop, so did others. But after just 2 weeks of running. It started making a grinding sound, sounds as if the revolving motor is going out.. So for safety of the shop I unplugged the light.. Guess it is not made for continuous use.. Just for parties..

Bought them for a graduation party. They last only 1 Hour and stopped working. Bad bad quality.

Dead on arrival. Took the dome off to look in there and the wiring seems wrong. Oh well, waste of time and money!

This device center screw didn't stay in place during rotation, kept coming off. Didn't do well during a party!
