Side by Side Comparison of: Clever Yoga vs Nu-Source

I had some Gaim yoga blocks that worked fine but were staring to come apart after a couple years. The Clever Yoga brand I've been using for a while now and they feel a bit more sturdy and they definitely look more fine than my old plain blues. I actually bought two - (this being the orange and black) and I'm pretty impressed with the customer service as well. I would look into other products from Clever Yoga when the need arises.

This is a well made, durable Yoga block, of far better quality than I have ever seen anywhere else. The colors are permanent and will not transfer to clothing or equipment, as some other brands tend to do. Furthermore, the company I bought it from, Clever Yoga, is without a doubt, the best Amazon seller I have ever encountered. Anyone considering any item they distribute should strive to buy from them, instead of elsewhere. Ellie, the owner, is personable, caring and determined to make certain her clients are satisfied with their purchase. I know I am!

Just a suggestion: I bought this block to use in assisting me in Functional Movement Toe Touch Progressions. Be aware it is an additional inch thicker (4") than many other Yoga Blocks. It is much stronger and much more solid than others, providing excellent support. You will have it for a long time.

Great company, great block. I've used them for the past week and I really like them. My sister likes them, too; she's a yoga instructor, and she kept remarking on how impressed she was with the quality.

I also like the two-tone look; the dark grey side matches my mat, and the orange side is a deep, rich, orange color that you don't often see in yoga props.

Clever Yoga Blocks has made my experience with yoga that much more ideal. I had purchased this block and the strap to ensure that I'm getting my full potential from yoga. I use yoga mainly for the piece of mind and calming effects, but I've also have become more involved into yoga that I am aiming to lose weight. Mainly though, it's just to be better within spirit and throughout the mind and body. Obtaining this block I've really increased what I've been able to accomplish. Yes, I am overweight and my movement is limit because of that - but at least I am making an effort, right? :)
Upon purchasing this, I looked up the benefit of having this and/or the strap in which I saw a lot people state that it's only for beginner, which it is not. Yes, it can be used for beginner, but it can also take your body to other levels to do which is what I'm focusing on. Getting the oxygen and mobility through the body - that this is helping. Not to boar, but I have venous malformation in my right foot which doesn't allow me to roll my foot and it doesn't go straight - it veers out to the right regardless of how much I try to correct that and this block has helped with that so much. Extremely pleased with the purchase. I did receive this at a discounted rate for my unbiased review. My opinion was not influenced by the discount that I received.

I think these are great blocks, and I am especially impressed by this company's personal touch.

The only thing I can think to mention to someone who's considering buying these is that I would call them soft blocks. If you put your weight into then through your hands or feet, they do squish just slightly. So if you are looking for firm, these may not be right for you. Otherwise, they are great and, and personally love the bit of give they have.

Arrived in a timely manner, looked as advertised; perfectly good yoga block for a decent price. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star rating is because I wanted to MAKE NOTE that it is thicker than a typical yoga block. [Hope that made sense. The width and length dimensions are "normal" but it's...er...thicker.] This is not necessarily a bad thing--really helpful with some poses but not so good for others. I would recommend purchasing this but just be aware of the difference if it matters to you.

Good block. Not too squishy. Just wish it was a little firmer - I can't seem to find one with just a tiny amount of give anymore.

The colors weren't as great as I thought they would be. However the colors are really the least of my concerns: if it is a sturdy block, and is able to be used, then I'm good. And it met both of those criteria. The block is very sturdy and I love using it.

Excellent block, works well to enhance my yoga routine. It's sturdy but not "hard" in such a way that it might cause discomfort.

Disappointed with the quality of this. I used to have a firmer dense foam, and was hoping for the same. This one is light, and gives a little...

Seemed too large so sliced it in two. Now, too thin.

Highly disappointed in this purchase. I thought I did my research. Basically you get what you pay for. This yoga block is extremely soft, my hands sink and does not support. I gave it a two star because I do like the colors and I still think Clever Yoga is a good brand. Just not this purchase.

Don't buy this. Mine starting splitting in half after I'd used it lightly about 4 times. Now I get to deal with the hassle of using my own packaging to returning a $7 item. Greeeeeat.

I returned this immediately because the sides of the rectangle were not even. It was not quite a rectangle. Poor quality control. I liked the fact that it had a little flexibility and wasn't as hard as a brick. I will order from another manufacturer.

Poorly built block. Rolls over way too easily. I suggest going with a real wood block so you can lean on it with confidence.
