Ice cold water for biking
September 25, 2017
I love these bottles! I have 2 and bought one for my mother. I take them biking and kayaking. When I take long bike rides I'll freeze one with water overnight. The other bottle I fill with ice cubes and water before I go out. The insulation has worked great for me. Sometimes too good on the one that was frozen... as it's still mostly a giant ice cube when I'm ready to drink it! I find the bottles do sweat, but since I'm using them while riding it's not a problem for me. I find it very easy to pull them out of my bottle holders and drink while I am riding. My mom loves her bottle too. It works much better at insulating than whatever old bottle she used before.
Keep Water a Little Cooler
September 17, 2017
This is a quality water bottle and does keep the water a little cooler than previously owned bottles. This bottle does not keep liquid cold. Such a bottle would be heavier and larger. It fits in my bottle cages tightly......however, I do have metal cages that can be slightly bent to accommodate small variations in bottle size. Over all a good product at a good price.
pretty cool, actually
August 31, 2017
I bought two. If you are wondering why the colors are muted, the outer layer is a milky plastic, the image is from a sheet of Mylar in the insulating space... pretty cool, actually.
Good product
August 16, 2017
I am happy as it kept my water very cold, better than any other water bottle I've had before. I thought that the lid was defective, but as it turns out, I was using a lid from another bottle. Now I'm happy.
Works great!

I was suprised when I left this in my hot truck for 1 1/2 hours and it still had a lot of ice in it!
This is easily the best bike water bottle I've ever owned
September 7, 2015
This is easily the best bike water bottle I've ever owned! Wish I had known about these sooner. Wide mouth, 24oz capacity, no plastic taste, tough (removable) loop for more mounting options and insulation keeps my drink cold for a longer amount of time! My only gripe is the the mouthpiece is a bit stiff... not nearly enough to remove a star though. Great product for the price!

A must buy!

I purchased the 12oz size after buying the 17oz ones for my family. I love the compact size, fits perfectly in my cup holder.I received it in the middle of dealing with a cold, and it has kept hot fluids throughout the night. Be cautious: scalding hot tea will stay scalding hot, I recommend tempering the hot fluids by pouring in a little cold water; water will remain the same temperature through the night, easily.Regardless of whether you hold hot or cold liquids inside, the outside temperature will match the room temperature.
and I love them both and use them both every day
December 4, 2015
I have both this Water Vault and the Sports Water Vault, and I love them both and use them both every day. They are both excellent at keeping cold beverages COLD and hot beverages HOT for hours on end, which is fabulous!! I love the matte finish and the cool sleek logo, which I love to show off to everybody. Aside from that, because they do not sweat, I can put my bottles on a wood surface and not worry about a water ring on the furniture, and for that I am grateful. They are also comfortable to the touch. You will not burn or freeze your hands off while holding them. The main difference between the two is the opening. With this water bottle, you have a little more control of the beverage as you sip, but you don't have the smooth lip-shaped design and additional snap shut tab in the lid that you do with the other. I typically use an 8 oz or 16.9 oz plastic water bottle, which I have replaced with these water bottles for safer ingestion as well as the ability to keep the temperature of the beverage the same for as long as the liquid sits. I have made hot tea in them, left and come back hours later and the hot tea is still hot! Ditto with water. I love that feature. You don't even need ice because the water remains as cold as it was when originally filled. I selected the 17 oz bottle to replace the 16.9 oz water bottle and the 20 oz bottle because I liked the design and structure of it. Honestly, both are great and serve their intended purpose. Sometimes I'll put hot tea in one and water in the other and sip from both while I work, and the best part is that they retain their temperature so you don't have to pour out and waste the drink. I can leave them in my car and the beverage will stay hot or cold until I return. Both are great products that I've already recommended to friends who have also since bought. I highly recommend purchasing both products.
I likey!!
November 7, 2015
I have bought 15 of these so far, both for me, my family and as gifts. Here are my favorite things about the product.-Cold things stay cold and hot things stay hot, for a long time. It is crazy opening one the next day and having ice in it.-Copper lined means no metallic taste. Water tastes like water. I use citris/caffeinated powder in mine.-Very well made, durableI have the sizes from 17oz-1 liter. On second and third purchases I got mostly the 26oz. My wife uses a 17oz, I like the liter one but it gets a bit heavy and I feel a bit weird carrying it around. 26oz is my compromise. The mouth is a little small for full size ice cubes. Easy for us because we have one of those ice makers on the counter that makes the nice little hollow cubes every 7 minutes, those slide right in. If we didn't have that I guess I would probably have to use full size ice in a pitcher till it cooled and melted down to a point. Or live with the cold out of the fridge water.I did buy a brush but for how we are using them, it is not necessary. We don't really do sugary beverages. Every few days I put a bit of soap and warm water in it and shake, then tip it upside down and let it air dry. Boom ready for another cycle.
Um...(blink, blink) is this actually happening?
September 10, 2015
Update 2/20/2016This is even more impressive than i originally thought. Keeps hot beverages hot, and some days it will be warm the morning after (when i forget). Cold beverages are ok. I'm so happy with the purchase.I thought this was one of those products that people were only giving good reviews for in return of something, so I was skeptical to purchase it. They were so high! I did anyway, it arrived SUPER fast, 2 days faster than I thought. I actually purchased it to keep my beverages cold, but I started with warm lemon water. I left it in a room temp area and forgot about it at 9am. At 4:09pm I came back and took a sip expecting to have to gulp it, but it was still warm! I mean, there was some heat still to it! I'll try something else and we'll see how it takes to something hotter, but to my surprise this was as warm as it was when I poured it in 7 hours later. I'll update it on cold beverages at another time.
Keeps your drink cold FOREVER!
September 10, 2015
Well, maybe not forever.. But a long time!Got my bottle a couple of weeks ago and am really enjoying it so far.I got the 26 oz variant, which is the perfect size for me.Aesthetically, it looks great!Nice matte black finish with shiny polished aluminium metal on the bottom and cap.Not the biggest fan of the large logo, but it's not a big deal. The build quality is solid, not too light or too heavy. Very sturdy.Cap seals well and is satisfying to open and close. Now, the performance..I filled it up with ice cold water at 10PM, went to sleep a while later, woke up at 10AM, and finished the bottle at around 2PM and the water was still very cold, not even kidding.I haven't tried it with hot liquids yet though.Very impressed with the quality of the vacuum seal.I also got this for health reasons. For the past few years I was refilling plastic water bottles and realized that was very bad. This doesn't have a BPA lining and contains no PET / PETE.Plus you get the added bonus of always having a cold drink at the ready.Love it!

Pretty good
August 7, 2017
The insulation seems to take up a fair amount of volume, decide for yourself whether you'd have colder water for a brief time period or more water overall. We take it on bike rides and stop infrequently for water so the temperature is the same as our non-insulated bottle. The insulation also makes it hard to squeeze to get water out (minor complaint). Also it has a pull cap that has opened or been left opened and leaked in my car and places. That being said its a good bottle, we just prefer the camelback non-insulated one we have with the jet valve opening, I mostly got this one to try and it was cheaper.
Good size, fits bike holder
June 23, 2017
Good size, fits bike holder, better insulation than average sports bottle. Would rate it higher if it insulated better, but since it's not rigid it can't have a vacuum sealed insulation. I am pleased with it.

Cheap-ish but cute and easy to clean. Great for biking or when unscrewing a lid is inconvenient.
Works but there are better!
June 28, 2016
Does as is should but there are better in the same price range but being that this works I give it 4 and knock a star for others being better go for a thermos insulated bottle I bought one on Amazon $1 more and it keeps drinks cooler longer but holds less!
Solid
March 22, 2016
Holds a good amount, has an indentation that allows it to clip in and feel secure in the bottle cage and looks nice. Keeps drinks cold for longer than an uninsulated bottle, but I can't say I was wowed by how long it stayed cold/semi frozen when I filled it with half ice and half water on my hour and a half ride around noon on an 80 degree sunny day. Better than the alternative but nothing too surprising. Still a good product and good price.
This is a nice bicycling bottle
August 14, 2015
This is a nice bicycling bottle. Bottle top is the same style that all of us grew up with. No fancy valve or twist knob. Pull and go. The polar lining I was skeptical about that it would stay cooler longer. So I put it up against a camel back podium which I love and is another sleek bottle. I froze both bottles the night before close to full. The next day I took them in my hot car to do errands around town. It took about 6 hours for the camel back podium to completely melt. The polar bottle had about 1/4-1/5 of ice still in the bottle. After about 7 hours it was fully melted. So it does keep things cooler than other bottles. The handle loop on the polar is nice to hook it to a backpack or bike. I like that the polar has 24 oz over the podium at 22 I believe. A few extra ounces is nice to have on a hot day.

September 9, 2016
Keeps my water/ice cold for almost 24 hours. I prefer cold/ice water. Ice lasts all day and I can keep refilling it with cold water from the cooler at work. Only issue is that it's kind of a pain to carry around when I take it when I run errands. All of the above still applies, but when I put hot coffee in it for a few hours, it made the cover smell like coffee (permanently). I asked the company to take pity on me and send a new one. They did, but it was for the wrong bottle and it doesn't fit. I know I sent them the link to what bottle I bought. I'm pretty sure they sent me the wrong one intentionally since I wasn't paying for it. Good customer service hidden in Wolves Clothing. Not happy at all.
Go for it
August 28, 2016
almost perfect...and love it. a normal user generally fill the water first and then fit the cap, but should be careful not to fill beyond the neck of the bottle as the cap has interior insulating extension (not sure what exactly to call it) that spills water out if the bottle is full.otherwise, i love the product, has good material and sexy in its looks and light weight. stands firmly. i drink moderately cold water and retain the coldness. I am happy that it has a layer of copper inside which was the reason for buying this and I wouldnt mind if the inner layer is copper than steel too for the benefits copper provides ([...]). would buy again.update: 2 days into it and my wife asks for one more; so does my friend. May be i need some discount coupons now.
Great bottle, great design
February 23, 2016
Love the bottle and get asked where I purchased all the time. Its sleek and the black is a nice professional color to have on my desk. Gave up plastic and went with the WaterVault. Holds a lot of liquid and keeps items cold a VERY long time. Morning ice water is still freezing in the afternoon/evening. I soaked with hot soapy water when I first purchased and it never had the metal taste after that. Great bottle.
Good Bottle (Please Lose the Logo)
December 20, 2015
I wish an insulated bottle didn't cost so much (what's the reason for that, anyway?) but this one is good quality, the black finish is pleasant to the touch and makes it easy to hold. It keeps stuff cold, and should be easy to clean - once I buy an especially skinny bottle brush for it; my regular one won't fit into the neck, another thing that adds to the cost - but otherwise, it's a bottle. With a large logo on it. (Sigh.)
My wife likes it
November 5, 2015
I purchased the water bottle for my wife about 2 months ago. She uses it daily at work, and takes it hiking on the weekends. Some things we have noticed: Pros: It does keep the water cold for a long time. It is a pretty, stylish looking bottle (not that that really matters for a water bottle), with the matte black finish and stainless top and bottom. Cons: It is kind of hard to carry if you are hiking a few miles without a backpack. The great insulating quality makes it a little fat to carry in your hand for a long time; A mesh or drawstring bag would alleviate that problem. Also, the matte black finish will get scratches in it if you are not careful with it. My wife really likes this water bottle, and we would buy it again if we lost this one.
... for my teenage daughter and she has been very pleased with the WaterVault bottle
July 27, 2015
Bought for my teenage daughter and she has been very pleased with the WaterVault bottle. She has taken hot tea top work and even after 4 plus hours she was able to enjoy a hot drink. She has also enjoyed the bottle's ability to keep cold drinks cold also for hours. Top is wide enough to add ice cubes but unfortunately you need a bottle brush to clean since the top is too narrow for a good cleaning with just dishwasher

Meh
October 27, 2017
I thought this thing was supposed to keep your water "ice cold" for hours and it really doesn't. I filled it with cold water and ice, and left for an expedition. After about 2 hours of being in the sun my water was slightly chilled at best, and room temperature by the time I got home. Also it really doesn't fit that much water, especially once you put ice in there.
OK
September 21, 2017
Doesn't keep liquid cold for as long as I would like. It would seem that if you fill it with 50% ice and 50% cold water, you should still have a bit of ice left after a couple of hours, but not so. I don't live in the desert either, Long Beach CA so it is not that hot. Still, it is better than a non-insulated bottle, and it does hold 24 ounces.
... because in comparison to the Podium nozzles they are terrible. Secondly your water
July 25, 2017
First thing I did was throw the caps these came with in the trash because in comparison to the Podium nozzles they are terrible. Secondly your water, even if you froze the bottles overnight and put ice cubes in at the same time, are room temperature within 20 minutes. It's actually impressive how the insulation seems to have a warming effect while I'm out on rides.Get a lot of compliments on those American flags though.

Looks bad
March 8, 2017
The picture does not do this item justice. The insulation for the bottle is super winkled and it just looks junky. If it's more important to you that you have a cold drink for a long time, this is for you. If it's more important to you to have a nice looking bottle, stay away.
Cheap and works reasonably well
November 2, 2016
This is a pretty good, insulated water bottle; not perfect but again, pretty good.Positives: cheap, nice thumb/hand grip to pull it out of the cage, and acceptable insulation keeping liquids cold.It is very easy to clean, unlike the complex Camel Back model.Negatives: when full, it is hard to get a good draw of liquid. When full of iced liquid the bottle is very stiff.Looking for another one. Any ideas out there?

Not as nicely colored as photo shows, but work well.

Works fine but not nearly so pretty in color as the listing shows. I purchased all three metallic colors and they all look almost exactly the same. Not much variance between them, like in the photos on listing.

November 6, 2016
I just bought the Water Vault. It is true that it does keep the water cold but it feels a bit unstable. I don't know how long it will last. Also the opening is a bit too small. It takes a long time to put in ice cubes. I've used other water bottles, i.e. Under Armour, I was able to fill it with ice cubes in a minute vs about 5-7 minutes with the Water Vault. Also it was advertised that this water bottle will fit most car's cup holder - I find that is impossible especially with the shape.
Doesn't last long
March 7, 2016
Bought this for its no spill and non sweating qualities. It worked great for awhile. We didn't have a problem with the paint or denting but it started leaking after a year. I guess that's pretty good for the price but my daughter just spent money at red bubble for stickers she put on rge and now it's really not useable.
Paint chipped on Day 1
February 9, 2016
I got the neon blue bottle; beautiful shiny color. On my first day of use, the blue paint has already chipped near the mouth of the bottle. I put ice cold water and a couple of ice cubes in it last night, left it in the refrigerator, and then drank from it this afternoon - about 18 hours later. The ice had melted and the water was cold, but not icy cold. It's okay for the use I planned for it; just enough cold water for a one-hour meeting where I did most of the talking and needed to soothe my throat afterwards.
Like that it keeps my water cold throughout the day
December 14, 2015
Like that it keeps my water cold throughout the day; however, it's an odd shape and very slippery. I've already dropped it a couple times so it's dented and scratched. Can't seem to find a holder/case to fit the 1L size either.
Need some improvements.
December 4, 2015
For the most part WaterVault Soda Classic worked as intended. However, it did not meet the expectation with keeping the liquid hot or cold for a long period of time. Moreover, the paint comes off really easily. It would be nice to offer the option without any paint.

Though I love the size of this bottle

Though I love the size of this bottle, it did not keep the water cold as I expected it to.
So So . . .
September 11, 2017
I found that it is hard to get the water out of the bottle as compared to other generic type of water bottles. The other issue I found was that the water had a 'plastic' taste to it. Not sure whether this was because it was new or not.
Not as described by reviewers
August 17, 2017
After reading the many reviews, I order this Polar Insulated Bottle. The reviews stated "the liquid stays cold and the container does not sweat". Well, the liquid didn't stay cold even a few hours with ice in it and the bottle did sweat. I will be returning this item.
Not satisfied
August 16, 2017
Comfortable easy grip bottle, firm no leak cap, but not happy with the ability to keep drink cold. Insulated is a joke, non insulated is as good.
I suggest finding a different bottle
January 27, 2016
Unfortunately I’m not thrilled about his bottle. I was hoping this would work great for keeping my water cool on hot summer bike rides in the Utah desert, especially after reading so many positive reviews. To be fair, the insulation is decent. Don’t expect anything INCREDIBLE, but it is noticeably better than a simple plastic water bottle. Unfortunately that’s the extent of my notable positives with this bottle. Here are my two main gripes:1. The screw-on top worked great for the first month or so, but after that it started to leak. At first I thought the drips were just from excess water that had found its way around the rim and inside the top when I was filling it up, but after carefully drying the top and the rim, a test proved that the bottle does, indeed leak. I have only hand washed it, so it’s not from the bottle warping in the hot dishwasher.2. My experience differs from others as this bottle doesn’t fit in my standard bicycle water bottle holder. Here’s the one I use: Planet Bike 6.2 mm Welded Aluminum Bicycle Water Bottle Cage. Even using this on my road bike and going over very few bumps I’m constantly having to reach down and readjust it so it doesn’t fall.I’ve heard the Camelbak insulated water bottle works great, although I’ve never used one myself. If I were interested in spending more money, I would probably test that one out. At any rate, I don’t recommend this one.
Can't hold up to Arizona heat
October 2, 2013
I needed an insulated water bottle that could keep water cold in the most extreme of conditions: over-100-degree-F Saturdays in Phoenix, Arizona. This bottle wasn't up to snuff. Water that came directly out of the refrigerator at the time I filled the bottle is, after just one hour, so warm that you can't tell it was ever cooled in the first place. I even put two ice cubes in with the water once just to see if that would slow down the rise in temperature. No such luck: after an hour in the desert heat, the water was as warm as it always is--in fact, as warm as it used to be when I was using a plastic water bottle with NO insulation at all. Isn't insulation supposed to make SOME difference? The stuff in this bottle doesn't. The funny thing is that when I fill my Camelbak backpack with *uncooled* room-temperature water from the tap, and then I fill my Polar bottle with *refrigerated* water (I always take both the Camelbak and the Polar bottle together on my two-hour bike rides), after an hour or two of riding in the sun, the water in the Camelbak tastes much cooler than the water in the Polar bottle...even though the latter was originally refrigerated and the former was not! So a backpack that is *not* expressly designed to keep water cool actually keeps it cooler than an insulated bottle that *is* designed to keep it cool. I think I'd better keep looking for a better bottle. This one failed the test.

February 7, 2016
Keeps liquids cool for a moderate period of time, but dents very, very easily. After five months of handwashing only, the plastic threads inside the cap have split, making it unusable. I expected better for the price.
Not that great, no better than a standard single walled container.
September 28, 2015
This is a nice looking bottle however it barely keeps water cold for 3 hours, even when I put ice in the container. I would recommend a different container.I have tried a few different approaches, put the bottle in the fridge over night, put it in over night with ice in it, put it over night with ice in it and more ice when I take it out. Same thing each time, after 3ish hours liquid is room temp.

Horrible
October 3, 2017
This is actually the worst insulated bottle I have ever had. I filled it with ice and refrigerated tea and set out on some errands. It's a cool day, only in the low 60s, and ALL of the ice had completely melted in less than 2 hours. By hour 3 my drink was no longer even cool. I did not leave it sitting in the sun either. I will stick with Hydro Flask, more expensive but totally worth it.
Another inferior water bottle
October 3, 2017
This bottle has been leaking where the cover meets the bottle. Thought it just needed the cover to be readjusted and sometimes it seemed ok but other times it would leak and sometimes a lot. Very disappointed especially since the return window is closed and it took me this long to realize it's the bottle and not the way I'm putting the cover on. I will add it to my graveyard of water bottles. ☹️
Former fan of these
September 26, 2017
I've used these for years and have loved them. Eventually after years, the water began to taste strange, and I would order another. I recently bought another and in only a couple of months, with not very heavy use, the water is undrinkable. I won't buy another.
Don't waste your money
September 14, 2017
The red color looks like an aluminum foil wrap over a plastic bottle.... and the wrapping is not smooth or attractive. A bad wrap job and it makes the bottle look cheap. As far as cooling... doesn't keep a drink cold, even with ice cubes for more than an hour. Don't waste your money if you really want an insulated drink bottle that will keep your drink cold for longer than an hour. Disappointed.

Plastic film between two layers of plastic tumbler. Pic looks better than in person. Does not insulate.
Not worth the hype
June 12, 2017
It doesn't keep your liquid contents cold for more than an hour and if you put ice in it I guarantee you it will sweat rivers. The bottle is difficult to drink from as well unless you want to stand there letting it drip the contents into your mouth a half teaspoon at a time you have to suck it out or squeeze the bottle hoping it regains its shape after. Also unless you screw down the lid with all you might it will leak under the lid.

This is a great product, to be honest. But it has one fatal flaw- it makes the water taste DISGUSTING. I'm not sure why, and I've washed it in different ways dozens of times, but water just always tastes too bad to even consider drinking within an hour or two.
