Five Star Reviews: | 56% Excellent choice August 19, 2017 Price was good and I occasionally need a selection, so it seemed like a good bet. It turned out to be even more than that. These really do the job. They hold up very well. I am impressed - and that isn't easy to do! great price for a starter set March 21, 2017 great price for a starter set. Broke a couple of bits, but drilled a lot of holes. The chisels and reamer also came in handy. I would buy individual replacement bits but can't find the same ones sold individually. | 67% Great Drill June 13, 2017 A little lighter than the older one but more torque and good strong power being more amperage than it's predecessor Delivery sucked. Post office left box wide open in view ... March 25, 2017 Delivery sucked. Post office left box wide open in view of street. USPS has the worst delivery system. And they wonder why they are going brokeMachine is great |
Four Star Reviews: | 18% Worth it September 3, 2017 They worked as described. They're holding up better than I expected. I am very pleased Ok for the price February 1, 2017 inexpensive, nice case, broke the tip off of the pointed chisel the 2nd time I used it, But still usable! ... project it completed the project and the bits still like new good set of bits to have in your November 7, 2016 bought these for a small project it completed the project and the bits still like new good set of bits to have in your collection There's a nice variety to cover a lot of jobs June 22, 2016 This kit has a lot of bits for the money. There's a nice variety to cover a lot of jobs. The bits aren't made of the hardest metal, but overall the kit is an excellent deal for the cost. Decent March 11, 2016 Defiantly metric but all I needed was something to chip up concrete and drill holes to make it easier and it did the job to 4 stars for being decent, good price, and having a little case lol and minus 1 star for being advertised as standard and being metric | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Three Star Reviews: | 10% False description October 7, 2016 The product is falsely represented in the description. First, they are a "Stark" named brand from China. Second, they are Not SAE sized as described and are in Metric size. The point is why do they not just tell the truth about what the product is ??Lastly, the grade or quality of the drills are Not that of a Bosch drill bit at the Carbide tip. So far, one drill tip has chipped on my first 1/2" or 12mm hole on a concrete floor. Bits are well designed and does the rough non-precision work ... June 23, 2015 Bits are well designed and does the rough non-precision work which I required it for, however they are not well coated and after usage immediately started rusting. Warning pls grease or oil bits after use prior to storage. Make sure you measure! Imprecise sizes and slightly smaller than advertised. February 21, 2015 High quality but I knock of one start because of poor labelling and/or description. I knock of a another start because these don't seem terribly precise to any size conventions. But I can live with those defects. If the supplier puts in a better description to explain I would bump up to 4 starts because the bits work great. These are oddly sized without any meaningful labels. To figure out size I waisted a lot of time measuring with my caliper and doing fraction math! Actual sizes are very different than what is advertised. Or may there were just made very imprecisely. They do not match conventional metric bits either. In contrast, my Dewalt drill bits are exactly as advertised. Precision might not matter as much for masonry holes, but still you don't want to make your drill holes too big.In comparison to what was stated this what I actually got: one 3/16" x 60 mm, one 3/16" x 110 mm, four 7/32" x 110 mm (was that supposed to 3/8"?), one 37/128" x 60 mm (supposed to be 1/4"?), one 11/32 x 110 mm (supposed to be 5/16"?), one 11/32 x 206 mm (supposed to be 5/16"?), one 25/64" x 206 mm (supposed to be 3/8"?), one 59/128" x 160 mm (supposed to be 1/2"?) and one 65/128" x 210 mm (supposed to be 9/16"?). I'm using the convention the length is how deep drill bit can drill, which matches the smaller ones. There was supposed to be a 9/16" x 260 mm. That only works if you measure from end to end. So they are changing conventions. The case could not fit a 260 mm bit if following just the drill depth. On positive side Quality seems high and for the $32.95 I paid, including all those bits that's a great deal. But I notice the prices is much higher, more than double, after just a week. I tried the 1/4 inch on brick with a Makita HR2475 (which I got for a steal at Ebay), and it was like going through butter! | 0% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 6% Metric, not SAE sizes February 24, 2015 These drill bits are metric, not SAE, as described. The smallest is 5.5mm and the largest is 16mm, as stamped on the bits. The price has mysteriously doubled since I placed my order. Perhaps the seller had some metric drill bits that needed to be priced right to move them out because nobody wanted them? They're well-made and I'm sure they'll drill fine, if you need a metric hole in your concrete. Now if I can just find some metric anchor bolts I'll be all set.Ed | 33% Two Stars March 26, 2017 Used to for three hours, core drilling holes, drill stopped spinning.Sent back for repairs. I have an old demolition Bosch and it has worked great for about 25 years but has gotten weak July 7, 2016 Used it only three times to drive rebar pins into the ground and already stopped hammering. I have an old demolition Bosch and it has worked great for about 25 years but has gotten weak. |
One Star Reviews: | 10% Deceiving March 2, 2017 The bits are incorrectly listed as standard, no mention of metric however that is what is unfortunately sent! They're ok if you just want to drill random holes. I needed them to be the same exact as standard, since they are metric it is hard to set wedge anchors, anchor bolts etc... This bits have problem I have added photos they jam ... December 19, 2016 This bits have problemI have added photos they jam on Bosch drill because sds part isn't make correctly Horrible October 6, 2016 This item is false advertisement, it clearly says in the description and on the case thatit is standard sizes such as 1/4, 1/2 ect. But instead when you open the case you will find metric sizes all marked in metric such as 16, 12 , 5.5 ect. It was a horriblebuy, the only good thing is the chilping bits. Metric NOT SAE August 3, 2016 Bits are metric, not SAE and thus do not work for tapcons or other SAE anchors. metric! March 14, 2016 These bits are METRIC!,useless to me as i need to set SAE fastners into concrete | 0% There are no reviews yet |
