This stuff is AWESOME!I needed to paint some very small plastic toys that had a lot of nooks and crannies and therefore more sprays at different angles... they were about 4" x 5" with tiny details.Paint in general can be very temperamental in terms of spray flow , dripping, and coat quality. Metallic paint adds a whole other concern of clogging because of the metallic particles...I did do two light coats but only 10 minutes apart and I am so amazed at the results....Absolutely no issues whatsoever! LOVE thiis stuff!!

I purchased this spray paint to update some cheap hardware. I wanted copper handles and knobs but buying the real stuff didn't fit into the budget for the project. Using cheap nickle hardware and this Rust-Oleum Copper Metallic spray paint I got the look I wanted for a fraction of the price! It went on smooth, covered fantastic (seriously, one coat!) and is holding up well. I may go back and spray a clear finish on to add a little protection, but the finish on the metallic paint is so beautiful as is I'm afraid to change it with a clear finish!Absolutely would purchase again (probably soon)!

I ordered the Rust-Oleum Copper for a coffee table make-over. I saw pictures of the result of this specific spray paint, and they looked so pretty, I thought I'd try it. I have to admit, I was a little put off by how bright the color on the cap of this is. The spray paint goes on bright, but then darkens a little to a beautiful copper, just like you'd what (or I wanted).The quantity was just enough to paint the entire coffee table. I will be purchasing another for a little touch up and for other DIYs. I should mention, I have seen the price for the copper change from $10 to $7 quite often. I waited for it to become $7 before I purchased it. That is a little annoying, the price just seems to fluctuate from day to day. I would still buy this at $10, but it's not quite as good a deal (especially when gold and silver are about $4) but I just can't seem to get this shade at the Home Depot near me.The marble on the table in my pictures is DC Fix 346-0306 Adhesive Film, Grey Marble, it goes stunningly with this copper. Overall, if you've overused gold and need a change, this is fantastic. The color is lovely and adds to any room, I'm not sure if this is the best price, but the product is worth it for a great DIY.

I bought this spray paint to coat some small toys just for fun. Works great, no problems. Dries quickly to handle and seems to seal decently after 24 hours (no smudging or rub off). I am pleased with the result color and brightness of the gold, looks good and fun to make some things shine! Definitely recommended.

Glossy Black, so Gorgeous!I ordered this with Krylon 51601 Gloss Black Interior and Exterior Decorator Paint - 12 oz. Aerosol. And some Frog Tape.I did order the New 2DS XL Case, Orzly InvisiCase for NEW Nintendo 2DS XL (2017 Model) - 100% CLEAR Protective Cover Shell for the New (Foldable Screen Version) of Nintendo 2DSXL Handheld Games Console - TRANSPARENT however I modified it.First I quickly washed the Invisicase inside and out with watered down Ajax liquid detergent then dried it with some cloth.I taped the exterior of the InvisiCase with Frog Tape then used an Expired plastic Gift Card as a Squeegee to make sure no gaps are between the tape and the InvisiCAse. Then trimmed off the excess tape with a Utility Knife.Sprayed in brief light layers. Each coat took 15 mins to dry and 1 full hour to cure. I gave it a good 5 hours for the final full-cure.The reason I sprayed the inside (taped outside) was so that if the plastic Invisicase Gets scratched, it will rub off clear plastic and not the Black Krylon Spray. This way it will always retain a glossy deep black polish.Love it!

Beautiful chartreuse color! No drips and now my backyard table and chairs look fabulous and unique. You will need more than you realize so it is not as economical as brush painting but it is worth it!

Krylon is great stuff! Semi-flat black is difficult to find in stores sometimes, unfortunately. It's just perfect for many things - not too glossy / not too flat. In addition, Krylon is great quality spray paint.

Loved it! Can't beat the price anywhere and so convienent!! I used this for upcycling vintage suitcases and it works beautiful. Only takes 2 coats and lasts forever!

Product exactly as described. Dries very fast (about 10ish minutes + a few hours air out time for setting and smell to go away). I was able to use outside on a project during cool weather and didn't have issues with the paint drying. Nice solid black color. The spray cap (small cap that you press to make the paint come out) was smaller than I expected but it was very easy to use. The paint was easy to direct - very glad the spray area was not extremely wide like some spray paints I've used in the past. I painted a door mat with custom decorations. My cover cap (the black cap that goes on top when finished with product) was broken when it arrived, most likely due to a not so gentle UPS delivery. The cap still fit on so there wasn't an issue there. If I had small children around I might have been concerned since it didn't really allow the lid to lock on properly to secure the paint when not being used. I will buy again if I need more!

Worked amazing on plastic shutters. I washed to shutters with soap and water and allowed them to dry before painting. I was a little annoyed at the amount of paint that went airborne. However, I painted four shutters per can and when I did the math the coverage area was EXACTLY as advertised. So I'm guessing that is accounted for. LOOKS BETTER THAN NEW!!!! Cant tell you how it will hold up to UV light outdoors, but so far so good.Update: I moved some time ago, and was back in the old neighborhood last week. Two years and eight months later the shutters look the same as the day I painted them. Good stuff!

I've purchased this product a few times on here. The first time worked great, the second time I got a couple of defective cans, so I re-ordered and got another can that worked perfectly again. Had to write a review to point out that the newest can I got has an improved design!! The tip is better - more secure, more comfortable - and the paint applied so easily. Finished painting a ton of frames today and used the whole can the same evening I got it because I was able to get the job done so swiftly!

I love spray painting old things and repurposing them. $10 a can at big box home improvement store vs $4 on Amazon is a no brainer. I bought extra! The finish isn't mirror-like but it's not matte either. It also depends on the texture of what you are spraying but it's never going to look like chrome. Still, there's nothing like spray paint to repurpose something old and funky into something new.

Dries extremely fast and sprays nice and evenly. I find it a bit too reflecting that it takes away from the gold when placed next to a different object of a different color. I painted a vase gold and places it on a white dresser and the vase ended up looking white at the bottom because of the reflection. But like all rustoleum, the quality can't be beat.

From an all-purpose spray, it works nicely. Sticks well to plastics, but not to metal. Tried to spray paint aluminium, rubbed right off even after 24 hours of drying. But for plastics/wood/etc it seems to work nicely. Use primer for a better stick, or try sanding the surface.

It's not as shiny or mirror-like as the cap. It's more of a matte finish. I was hoping that it was just as shiny as the cap since I was spray painting these jar lids to match some Ball mason jar lids. It did the trick, but it wasn't as shiny as the Ball mason jar lids.

I bought the Copper version, observations:Every single time you want to spray the product you have to shake the can, even after setting it down for under 15 seconds you must shake it again, the copper particles are heavy and settle out really fast (then again this might be common to most spray paints, I've just never noticed how fast it separates before this can (spray, check, spray, only propelent < 15 seconds))The copper seems to be made with actual flecks of copper, when I started out it comes out in a pinkish copper shade, then turns to goldish copper, deep yellow, orange, and finally turns brown just like any actual coat of copper: this coat doesn't seem to have enough protectant in it to prevent oxidation, maybe use a clear coat over top of it to keep the air away from it?The coat is more than shiny enough for what I needed it for, but I found the texture was never mirror finish and it varied from dusty to runny (like the flecks of wet fools gold in a river silt stream) to bubbled or peppery texture in appearance. I find myself wishing instead for an ordinary paint can instead of a spray can so I can paint it on smoother, but that isn't the fault of the product.

Product is not what was shown/advertised. This product has build in primer not stated on item listed. Assuming now that KRYLON no longer offers that original product. So matching colors will not be option as replacement product is different formulation. Just hoping it is close enough in shade that distance between furniture will not be noticeable.

Wednesday Greetings. Project looks good so far. Used the entire can. Not so sure this is Non-Toxic. Not harmful to humans, animals, plants, or the environment? This was just a Test Run that for now has been successful!.

It seems to be thinner and run easier than some other brands and takes several coats to cover. Nice versatility on surface types that can be painted. The color and durability are great once done.

Seems to be good. This is 12 ounces. My fiancé got me one from the store..it was only 8 ounces. Maybe that's the difference in the price talked about in allot of the reviews? Haven't used it yet.. Saving for Christmas crafts, but it is Krylon. It's a good name, though.** I finally used it. It sprayed from the can good. I thought it was a true burgandy. Would recommend.

This color is beautiful, BUT it leaves a residue which is almost impossible to remove without stripping the item of the color.

This is the only true metallic spray paint that I use for my outdoor projects bc it lasts and it's truly metallic.

the paint is ok. i used it to paint some glass bottles. sad to say the pant did come off from hands touching t (we used the bottle for water later), so the paint is not good for items that will be touched a lot or be in contact with heat.The color was not super great either.

I thought it would be shinier, like the lid. Oh well.

The color was more grey silver than metallic looking

Was hoping for more of a brass-y finish, but this was definitely a gold and much more matte than I expected. It was fine, but was going to refinish the doorknobs in my apartment and have decided against it because it isn't the right look. Luckily this was cheap.

Nowhere in the description or details about this product did it say it was a gloss finish. The only way for you to know is to zoom up on the picture to see what it says. I was not expecting it to be gloss and am very disappointed.

Very disappointed. I paint all the time, but this paint ran and looked terrible. Luckily, painted the metal of a lamp and just sanded it for the distressed look and now I love the finished product.

i love the color (coral isle), but it is extremely watery and runny. i last used a spray paint a few years ago, so it may be that they changed their formula like someone mentioned, and i don't remember it being like this at all. i'll try to make this work, but i'm pretty disappointed. wouldn't recommend or buy again.

I purchased this paint for a small project, but I should have been more careful when I noticed that there was no information about the level of gloss anywhere on the page. I specifically ordered the Emerald Green color, but unlike most of the other colors, the image on the product page doesn't specify its glossiness. It's not in the description or anywhere else on the page. I needed this paint to be flat. I know it sounds like a nit pick, and perhaps I shouldn't have made the assumption, but regardless of that gamble, I highly recommend that Krylon updates their product page to specify the gloss level. Some of the titles on the other colors are specific, but the majority of them are not, and in this case, the image is of an old can design that says nothing about gloss on the label.I was considering only knocking off one point for the confusing product page, but then I discovered a few problems with the spray nozzle itself. I might have gotten a dud though because only one of the three cans is having trouble.Regardless I've learned my lesson and will stick with buying paint in person, from a store.

A fast, affordable and convenient way to paint anything! Very easy to use and dries up in 10 minutes. I used it outside the house and the blonde in me left the door open so the whole house smelled of aerosol or gas paint (or whatever you call it......I told you I was blonde :0 ) and it took a long time before it cleared off.Tips when spraying:1. close the door2. wear a mask3. do not smoke while doing this4. do not spray beside a black dog :)5. use in a large box to contain the sprayed paint6. do not attempt on a windy day....learned this the hard way :)7. pregnant women should NOT use this3 stars because the spray does give a wide coverage, BUT I am painting a small item- so most of the paint was kinda wasted. I also need to spray 2x (or even 3x) as the color is not that solid on the first spray. I do hate the smell of aerosol but it's convenient than using a paint brush.The ballet slipper is a light baby pink color. Very bright and very dainty- almost white though.The coral isle is a coral pink- great shade and a great match for the ballet slipper color.

Ever since Rustoleum changed the nozzle, it just hasn't been the same! This used to be my go to gold spray paint and used it weekly. I've had to switch to another brand.

I have used Rustoleum Metallic Gold spray paint for over a year and have really been pleased with it. This batch, produced in 2016, is shinier and does not dry and stays sticky. I'm very disappointed.

I used to to spray paint and stool and allowed 48 hours to dry. Unfortunately it started to chip within the first few days. Disappointed

The cap shows a bright, shiny silver color. That's what I wanted; something like silver leaf. The results are darker than expected, and very dull. On a medium sized surface (12"x12") it ends up looking very flat and boring. There's no bright shine to it and just looks like a lump of medium grey plastic. The coat itself is nice, seems strong. But it looks nothing like the cap, and I wouldn't call it silver.

The silver is not chrome, like the lid suggests, but instead a kind of matte metallic silver.

Don't buy this. Can't keep the spray tip clear. I hold the can upside down and spray until the mist is clear, but when I go to use it again it is always plugged and I haven't found a way to clear it. I don't have this problem with other brands.

With first couple of uses spit out chunks which ruined work...tried turning the can upside down and spray to clear it but it would not work at all...This was the same with both cans I bought...Black & White of the same product worked well....I can only guess that product was old and had coagulated to the point that it could not clear the spray cap even with extended shaking...

Terrible for painting steel plate pistol/rifle targets. Runs extremely easily, almost like water. Coverage is terrible. Requires light spraying, waiting , repeat.

This was a complete bust. I was painting a wicker chest, and the paint immediately beaded up and dripped away, offering very little coverage, even over primer, even after many coats. I had to buy another brand that's still not great, but is better. I had great success with Krylon gold spray paint for some plastic dinosaurs, but this was pretty useless.

This used to be Great paint with a lot of the body shops using it for small touch ups where it wouldn't be noticed but I got a can of their flat and their shiny and while the FLAT worked very good to the last the SHINY Krylon paint plugged about half way through and even changing tips wouldn't help it to spray so I bought HALF a can ! IF it had been a store around here I would have at least been able to take it back and get some satisfactions but not on line. I am pretty sure that this will be the end of my using Krylon paint. They also have a new spray tip that plugs and might have something to do with their paint cheating you out of at least half a can. I talked to a lady at ACE hardware and she said that this problem isn't just an Isolated incident either? Sorry but I won't use their paint again.

Finger prints everywhere. Make sure you get a top coat but even then it was not ideal. I used on wine bottles for my wedding. First used white primer then this for 2 coats then glossy top coat. Bubbles, prints, etc luckily I didn't care that much.

The spraycan broke after 1 use!!! It still has a ton of paint in there, it's just not possible to spray it, making it entirely useless. The color is amazing, it's just not useful!!

I was not able to return this product as I was told that it did not qualify for return. The can looked old and the spray nozzle did not work.

Very disappointed in this paint. Made sure to shake the can extra long before use, it still dropped off the item I was painting. Thought maybe it was the item and not the paint. Tried on a different item...did the same thing. Not happy.

Purchased these because they were supposed to have the white bigger spray tip on them but it's the tiny one that kills your finger.

I do not recommend this if you want even coverage on metal. I have prepped the piece well and used a base coat primer even, and this still went on unevenly and wasn't dry even two days later. Total crap.

I followed the directions for the avocado-colored spray paint. It dried very camo-like, dark green and grey spots, after an even application. I would definitely not buy this again.

I ordered this spray paint to paint a cardboard box for my son's Halloween costume. This can only covered 4 sides of the box. When spraying, it was splattering everywhere, the spray was uneven, and above all, the paint did not really take to the surface, it was runny, did not dry evenly. The odor is very strong too. I would not recommend it. I went and got a sample can of paint from the store and a small roller, it worked wonderfully and did not produce odors.

paint comes out bubbly :\ and does not spray evenly - no problem with other colors just this blue. Thought it was just a bad can but I got another and still awful :(

When I received my box of spray paint it smelled awful, I thought well it is spraypaint, when I started to open the box I got paint ALL over my hands and arms because the paint can had leaked everywhere. The lids were both broken and the cans were wrapped in a plastic bag... The shattered plastic fell from the box and I saw the mess. Gold and pink paint everywhere. It was disgusting. I want to return this because it's not even usable.

This was the worst spray paint I've ever used. I usually use Rustoleum, but I loved the color of this spray paint. I bought it on a whim and it was a thin liquidy, drippy mess! Seemed very cheap. I'm glad I used it on something I got for free and didn't care about or else I would be devastated. It ruined the thing I was painting.
