It even surprisingly comes with a bag of soybeans for you to try out.Don't forget to add sugar of course, unless you like the plain taste of soy.The machine itself looks nice and clean, with a wonderful design so you don't mind showing it off in the kitchen.The only problem might be having to clean it up after you make a batch of soy milk, because it can get messy quick. And you better clean it right after because it'll only get more troublesome after it dries.

i'm a Joyoung fan and i brought one soy maker from china but voltage didn't match. So I bought this one. It's easy to use and clean, all you need to do is put the beans(or other stuff) in it and then press the bottom. 20minutes after, your soy milk is ready. Except the soy milk, I also use it to make lotus—nut white fungus sweet soup with crystal sugar. that was tasty and took only 20 minutes and good for my skin

This is an amazing one. Joyoung is a reliable brand for soy milk maker. It is just as good as described by the seller. Although it's a little noisy when it works, the noisy doesn't stay long. There is no need to reheat the soy milk, which is really convenient for me. One small drawback is that the user brochure is not specific enough to learn how to choose a pattern and what do the alarms mean.

My wife likes this product very much. However, barely over one year, it stopped working. We contacted JOYOUNG service in America. The staff were very friendly, answered all our questions. They sent us a replacement part for the machine; we tried it, but failed. Then they agreed to take the malfunctioning product by mail, and quickly repaired it. We now have a fully functioning JOYOUNG again. It turned out that the reason for our JOYOUNG's breakdown is that my wife didn't have a good common sense using it; she had some water/moisture entered into the machine. So it's our fault, or maybe users should have been better advised about using it by the producer?

This Joyoung Soy Maker is very convenient for me to make all kinds of grain milk or porridge and it's really very easy to clean. But I think it's better to clean it as soon as you finish making soy milk or rice porridge. It's very easy to clean it while it is warm. I've tried making milk with mung bean, soy bean, black bean and red beans, and they taste very good! To be honest, I'm very satisfied with this buy.

The soy drink made by this machine tastes much better than store bought. The noise created when it is at work is acceptable.I ordered this machine this January and it has been working well since then. One time it did not work was when I did not fill up the water to the upper level line. The water is supposed to be filled up between the two lines. In fact, you should always fill it up closer to the top line, otherwise the machine won't process the beans properly and you won't hear the beeping sound at the end.I tried red beans one time. There was an overflow problem because I overfilled the measuring cup provided by the package. It is important to follow the instructions.It takes a little bit time to clean it. Wish the manufacturer could add an auto clean feature. However, it is not that bad if you clean the machine right away after usage. A bottle cleaning brush will help clean the food residue from the hard-to-rich corners and grooves besides a sponge you would normally use.Highly recommend this machine to any heavy soy drink users.

It arrived on time. And it is very easy to display. To make a fresh soymilk just few minutes. But in my advice, you need to clean everything right away after use, to avoid leaving taste.

this product is great. i kind of regret not getting it sooner. i've heard a lot of positive feedback about this product and to my amazement, it did not disappoint. we been making fresh soy milk and deliciously hot sweet corn drinks. its so healthy that i don't feel bad eating steak afterwards. going to also try the congee function and see how it works out.

Generally we like this machine. We use it to make fresh soy milk daily for our 4-person family. It works well and is easily operated. The only concern is we feel the size is a little smaller than what we expected. The machine can only make four small cups of soy milk in each single operation. If your family needs more than four cups in a day, you have to run it two times a day. It takes about half an hour to make once. It will be perfect if the size of the machine is bigger.

Overall this is an excellent machine which has higher constructionquality than other models, better insulation than other modelsand operates very quiet and efficient. However, one thing that dissopointsme is that it cannot make cold drinks like modle GTS-1078 does. This machinehas a very good grinding ability and I am sure it could make excellentcold drinks out of veggies and fruits as well.

My wife's cousin told us about this brand when we were shopping for a soy milk maker. Initially we were dubious since this is a Chinese brand. However, after reading some good reviews on several forums on Internet, we decide to give it a try.The package arrived quickly and in a good shape. The operation is simple. Rinse and wash the soybeans first. Then soak them in water for 5-8 hours. Put the beans in the stainless steel holder/body of the machine. Pour drinking water up to the mark on the wall of the holder/body. Put the top (with the stainless shell locked in place) on top of the holder/body. Select the operational mode. Then it starts.The whole procedure takes about 20 minutes. I think it heats up the water and boils the soybeans first. After some minutes, it grinds for about 5 second and continue to broil. After repeating this procedure twice, it makes the final grinding for about 1-2 minutes and boil till it's done.Here are some points you have to look out, though:1. You need to pour the soy milk out and rinse the holder/body and the top quickly. Don't let it stay in the holder because it would get thicken with the remaining heat of the stainless steel holder. It would make the cleaning more difficult later.2. The filter is good for filtering most of the soybean bits out. There is only this bit of taste of "powder" remaining. If you want to completely take out that taste, do a 2nd filtering with a paper coffee filter.3. Watch out about how you place the top. In my opinion, the design could use some improvements. The long shaft of the blades could be a problematic area. The top is heavy. If you put it side-way, it is very likely to tilt and put the unwanted weight on the long shaft. It might bend the shaft eventually.4. It would be a better design if the long shaft (along with the blades) can be easily detached. If so, it would cause the problem above. It would also make the repair or replacement of the blade easier. It would even make the cleaning easier. Believe me, it is not all that easy to clean the shaft and blades while holding the heavy top.5. Manual and measurement: The machine comes with a very simple English manual. Fortunately, the operation is simple enough that the simplicity of the manual does not pose a problem. However, the recipes in the manual are based on the measuring cup coming with the machine. And the cup is not a standard one. How would the users use the machine if the cup is misplaced or lost?So here is the tip: 4/5 cup of soybeans equals to 70g.Other than the above minor issues, I have no other complaint. With 70g of soybeans, we could make about 1.2 liter (5 8oz cups) of hot and fresh soy milk. We will put the machine to very frequent uses.

The machine works well to make soy milk and I love using it but after 2 years of use, the electronics are broken. I'm pretty disappointed because 2 years is not a long time for a $140 appliance. My family is very careful when washing the container and the top piece to not damage the electronics but it is impossible to not get any water on it. We also let it dry thoroughly before using it again. I don't know if it's from the water or it's not made to last for a long time. We use it a couple times a week.

Used one was delivered last year so I was not happy but it was packaging process mistake so I will try again to buy one this year if they still get high reviews keep watching since I need this!!!

It does its job. but after a while I don't use it often. To be honest this is a pricey product.

Overall I think it's a great product and it does its job.But it could be more user friendly as I don't know whether the soy milk is ready or not. There is no indicator light or anything.

just got one and not so satified, when i just open the box, dont look like a brand new one. i pay for full price and it is expensive. it is frustrated. i check the instruction book and cant find the warranty form.about the product, i tried 2 cups of soybean, it works well as advertise.

I returned it. The flavor of the soymilk is not the same as the homemade one.

I received this machine three days ago. Dre bean key and mung bean key do not work and those two lights are not on too when I try to use them. I write a question yesterday, but nobody answer it. Bad quality and bad service.

I have tried a few times to make paste with small amount of rice, and it always gave me uncooked rice in the paste at the bottom of the maker. Not working well. The receipe in the instruction book is not very helpful and not many choices. I bought this to make sesame paste but obviously it is not a good appliance to make it. Do not recommend it to others.The product has a long way to go to improve its performance. Not satisfied with it.

Bought one for myself and another one for my sister. Both of them are dead recently. It lasted only for a year. So sad since I use it quite often. Now totally they become totally waste of money!!!

We bought this soy milk maker 6 months ago. Have been really careful in handling. However, it still decided to quit this morning. Completely dead! It was on and off for a few days this week. But this morning, it could not be turned on any more. Very disappointing.This has been one of our beloved appliances in the kitchen. Our family do need it. So now, I am in the dilemma, should I buy another one? Or different brand?

I bought this in Mar and used it for few times (less than 5), and now it is broken. Can you fix it?

I purchased only three months and use only several times. It is already broken. the quality is low. Don't recommend.

The product works great when it is new. But only last for a year. Not reliable.
