Very nice compromise for a stairwell too narrow for a complete queen-sized box. Appropriate outer material, solid feeling construction.

Our apartment was down stairs and has lots of walls so a normal queen box bring wasn't an options. These were perfect. Easier to maneuver and fits our standard queen bed

What a great purchase! I didn't have to go to the furniture store and pay $55 to have box springs delivered on a set schedule. These showed up in two separate boxes at my door and were ready to put on the bed frame. They are fairly light weight and I was able to bring them in the house. As easy as it gets.

Fit perfectly up our narrow stair case! Shipping needs to be a little more care as a piece of wood was broken, but we manged to fix it for less shipping hassle.

Box spring is perfect

Never thought I would be excited over a box spring. Purchased twin size box spring for bed. Box spring came in box. When opened box it was also covered in plastic for added protection. Box spring is white/light color on the sides with plastic pieces on each corner to protect them. Very firm box spring that held mattress nicely. Delivery was much much faster than the estimated time. Came almost 2 weeks earlier than estimated time. Wouldn't hesitate to purchase a box spring of any size of this model. High quality. It comes ready to go. Just open the box and use immediately!

All I really could have asked for in a boxspring! Quality construction, looks nice. No one believes I bought it on Amazon!

I love that they're split but honestly they had a weird smell that lasted about a week.

Very cheap construction with flimsy wood but you get what you pay for.... If you want higher quality you can get a much better product at a local mattress store but be prepared to pay about $100 more. For me this does the trick just fine. The other review are correct it comes in horrible packaging just a cardboard but I had no issues with damage.

I ordered the split box spring since my old box spring wouldn't fit up the stairs in my new place. Upon receiving the mattress I could see through the plastic that there was already a hole in the fabric. There wasn't a rip in the plastic, so it wasn't snagged that way, but instead it must have been already damaged before they put it in the plastic. It's too much of a hassle to return it, but buyer beware you may receive damaged goods.

Flimsy but serves the purpose of getting up tight staircase

The price was right and they shipped quickly. However, after a few months of use, the box springs is noisy. I am single and weigh about 180 lbs and I have only had it for maybe 9. It's not too noisy, but disappointing. If anyone has a solution please let me know.

It's just a box frame no springs.

box springs did not match and have no non slip surface so mattress slides off of it all the time

I had to tap in some of the nails that held the cloth in place as they were sticking out. Otherwise, it's fine.

It's an OK box spring. Not the highest quality, but for our guest room where it will be used, it will be sufficient. I would not purchase this if it was going to be slept on every night.

Disappointed that while both halves arrived in identical boxes, they did not look alike. They were not finished in same outside covering.

I received two, unmatched box springs. If my husband hadn't already unboxed them and put them on the bed before I noticed, then I would have returned them. One is even slightly higher than the other, although I'm just hopeful it's slight enough that you can't tell. If you want a matching set of box springs, as I did...then buyer beware.

Product broken after use for only 1 month.

You get what you pay for I suppose but truthfully on a budget and in a pinch when you cannot fit a normal-sized box spring up and around the corner in your house, this will do the trick. Lightweight, fits the bed frame perfectly, partially broke after a few months of use. Of the two pieces, we had one piece break at the support near where my back would most be supported. Have rotated it around so that it is now at my feet but generally speaking, disappointed as I am a grown adult, approximately 180lbs and was not mistreating the bed or box springs. Crawling or rolling into bed shouldn't contribute enough stress to break it, especially when it's the far end of the bed. Would I buy again? Maybe if I couldn't find another brand for a similar price. Just my opinion that you shouldn't "adult wrestle" let alone have a seizure else it may break.

This frame is not very sturdy and it made from a weak wood. Mine came damaged as the packing is literally just a cardboard box with no other protection.

Does the job for little used guest room. Would never fly for an every day bed. Young quite realize how thin it is until you see it. Makes getting in and out of bed difficult for some people especially elderly so keep that in mind. Very low bed loves will rejoice however.

Way shorter than I thought it would be

Received two completely different styles of box springs. The material stapled to the bottom of one box spring was ripped and hanging off and one corner was crushed.

Please do buy this. It is actually not a box spring. There are no springs so it is just a box made of very fragile wood. One of them broke on delivery so we had to wait a week for the new ones. When the new ones came they were fine for a few days and then the one broke just from getting into bed. I was enticed by the price but I would recommend spending a little more on a quality box spring.

When it first arrived it was a huge improvement to the problem we were having. You see, our house's steps are too short to fit a traditional box spring up. This led to us having to cut the box spring down the middle and bracing it once we brought it up. Eventually it began to sag in the middle. When these arrived, it was awesome. Much better support then our original. Within the first few months, there were numerous pops and creaks from the box spring, within 6 months, both began to creak beyond what we could bear. So in a pinch, or in a non primary bed, these may be fine. For us, they were just too cheap to hold up.

Both box springs broke when somebody sat on the end of the bed. Cheap and weak.

Never fit the frame correctly and broke within five months, not happy about it

As others have stated, this does box spring does not hold up well. While it hasn't flat-out broke as others have noted, after a year and change it is almost unusable because of the amount of noise it makes - the creaking is very pronounced, I am sure it is on it's last legs.

Oh my stars. This is the WORST thing I have ever purchased. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it was metal bars that you had to assemble and put a cover over. So when it arrived, I raised an eyebrow.Never one to back down from a challenge. I got to work. I am pretty handy with tools for a stereotypical girlie girl.. But between me, my boyfriend, my dad, and my uncle. We couldn't get the thing assembled.First. Parts were missing. I went to Home Depot and figured out which screws and bolts to purchase.Then. After hours of agony, we realized that all the holes and slots were out of alignment. No amount of finagling got it to settle down.This went promptly back.Oh. And the $&@?! thing managed to pinch my skin and cut me. Never again.

The top of the box springs that the mattress sits on was made out of cardboard. That broke through and then the boards beneath started to break. Cheap quality!! Waste of money

This boxspring was neither full-size nor low-profile. It's too big for a full-sized bed frame and 8.5 inches high. And then I was told that my replacement would be the exact same product, so don't even bother if you're looking for a full-size, low-profile box spring. Very disappointed.

Terrible!! Definitely a get what you pay for. I bought these the end of August and one box spring is broken from a nine year old sleeping on it! Wasted my money...NEVER again!!
