Side by Side Comparison of: Robeez vs Luvable Friends

We discovered Robeez with my son and now I don't even look at other shoes for my pre-walking daughter. They are great quality, indoor/outdoor shoes with soles that are sturdy enough to let your kiddo practice walking on blacktop but still soft enough that they can feel what's under their feet. When he was first walking, my little guy had trouble keeping balanced on grass and other uneven terrain. These shoes made a world of difference because his feet actually feel the shape of the ground underneath him. We have several pairs of Robeez, and I have never been disappointed by the quality. They hold up great through multiple kids and wash well. And this design, I must say, is my favorite. The little superhero animals are adorable!

It's hard to gauge baby feet sizes, but if I'd ordered according to my baby's age these would have been WAY too big. She's 12m and I ordered the 0-6mo size, they fit just right for right now. I ordered another style in the next size up for this summer.

Love, love, love these shoes! I have been buying Robeez soft shoes for babies since my kids were little & they are almost teens. Now I buy them for kids that I watch. They are impossible for baby to get off, they fit nice & snug, so baby stops trying to take their socks off. And they can also be worn without socks in warmer weather. As soon as they outgrow them, I am looking for the next size up to replace them. And Amazon always has a nice selection at cheaper prices than in stores- most stores have these with a retail price of $25- $30, so if I can find a pair for $15 or less I feel like I got a great bargain. There are lots of other brands that are similar and cheaper, but I think the Robeez ones are usually better quality. They seem to hold up better over time- esp if your kids wear them everywhere, like mine did! I will definitely buy again.

I love the shoes. But she'll only be able to wear them for about a month or less.

Love Robeez for babies! They are a little big in the toe for my 12mo, so they should fit great through 18m. Just as expected. Socks fit under comfortably. The great thing is the way they designed the elastic, so that the baby can't pull them off. These are cute. Just like the picture. I wish I wouldn't have gotten white since she still crawls and got the tops dirty. Oh well. Still love them. I used Robeez for my son and daughter, and they are perfect for first steps as the babies are learning to walk.
Note: the 12M under Little Kids should actually be 12-18 months in the toddler size category. Once you go through checkout it shows up as 12-18 months.

Pretty baby girl blue sneakers. Crisp & clean looking with outfits/dresses.Not for daily wear but for great color for wide range of blues.ONLY for pre-walkers; no grip.

Love them, got them in pink but I ordered them in the smaller size as she is only 7 months, now going to order a different color in the next size up.

These sneakers are super cute and I love how there's no laces so I don't have to spend time trying to tie the sneaker as my baby's legs are moving like crazy. Only thing is the size runs a bit weird, 6-12 months, now that's a big difference from 6 to 12 months so of course they were a little big on my son when we got them for he was only 6 months. He's eight months now and is growing into them perfectly so I guess the age range is a plus in the fact it'll last your baby for all that time. The price for these sneaker are also great! Pretty cheap but differently not cheap quality. All in all I would recommend these sneakers to all moms.

I read the reviews and saw that it ran large. I got the 6-12 month size and it fits my 11 month old great. Easy to put on, she hasn't tried to take them off yet. The words on the sole are helpful to confirm you put the shoe on the right foot. Well made, only have used it a few times.

Robeez fit ridiculously large for my kid. At first I thought it was just my kid, but my other mom friends have said the same thing. My daughter is 12-18 months and they are nowhere near fitting right now. That being said, these shoes are well made and cute so I would buy them again just keeping in mind they run really large.

I read other reviews which stated that these shoes run large so I ordered accordingly. My daughter starting wearing the 6-12 month size when she was probably 14 months old. She is now 20 months old and is still wearing them, although they won't fit for much longer. They are easy to put on, stay on well, and provide just enough traction on the bottom to keep her from slipping all over our wooden floors. I love these shoes. I only gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because of the sizing issue. I will be purchasing more Robeez soon, as these shoes hold up really well. My daughter wears these shoes everyday and I only just had to superglue one of the seams together which doesn't bother me considering the wear we have gotten out of these shoes.

These are super cute, a little big but leave room for growth on my 13 month old. Robeez in general are great shoes. I like these a lot because of the giraffe, my only qualm is the the giraffe on the right foot is designed poorly-and I know I am being very picky here but by itself (which you obviously would never do) the right foot just has the body of the giraffe. I would do something like mamma on one foot, baby on the other.

Perfect for my 10 month old baby to practice 'walking' at home. I will have to say that the bottom of the sole and the front tip of the shoe are already stained after only 4 days of wear. The kind of stains that you get on your purse when it rubs up against your blue jeans. We have only worn these inside the house so that seems a little premature. Overall it doesn't bother me so much because its only aesthetic and the utility of the actual shoe is still intact. Next time I would purchase a darker color leather so you don't see the staining as much.

These are very wide, when we first got them, we used pretty ribbon to keep them on our daughter's feet. At 8 months, she can wear them without the "laces" and they stay on (until she rips them off that is). They are very cute and we get lots of compliments! They are very slippery on the bottom though, so be careful. We take them off when she is moving around on the floor.

The area of the shoe under the tongue from the top of the foot to the bottom is secured with elastic since there are no laces. My baby does not have a skinny foot anf they are a little big so They fall off easy. I always make sure to use socks with them. Not disappointed though since I didn't pay much, but I probably don't use them quite as often as I might would because of it.

My LO wore this just a few times as an newborn. They were a little big on him at first, which seemed like the only and best time they looked good when he wore them. But the again, my LO has really big feet!

Cute little shoes for your non-walker. We got the beige (tan) pair which coordinated with most outfits. Since there are no laces, they don't stay on great if your little one is kicking her feet. Just keep an eye on for loose shoes when you are out! We had to go on a wild goose chase to hunt down a stray shoe!

Although the best way a baby can learn to walk is barefooted, when is winter or you have to take them out somewhere you need shoes!Pros:- Great for a baby that is beggining to stand up, cruise and walk. The sole are soft and not sliperry so the baby doesn't loose the natural grip of walking barefooted that he needs at the beggining.- Very easy to put on and offCons:- The color is a little more yellow than shown in the picture.- It comes off to easily. Note: at this age almost any shoe comes off easily so it is not a big deal- It gets ruined after a couple of weeks of use. Note: That is actually all the time that a baby needs this kind of shoes because they outgrow it very fast! this is why not spending much ir a great thing!!!

I wasn't expecting gaps on the side of the shoe where the pink ribbon is. I expected this to be stitched thoroughly. The 6-12 month size is also about 1" too large in length for my 8 1/2 month old, and very wide. At least we will be able to get our time out of these!

This is a super cute shoe! The only problem is it's really wide. I've ordered other Robeez shoes and they're great. This is the only pair that's really off and my daughter struggles to walk in them.

My granddaughter is 18 months old so I ordered the 12-18 months. They are very large and will fit her long into the future. They stay in her foot now but in no way shape or form do they fit. It only the elastic that helps them hang on. Other than that they are sweet and well made.

These are the cutest shoes! My only problem with them is that after only 4 months of average wear the fronts have terrible wear marks on them, making them not so cute. It seems some sort of protection on the perimeter is what they need. I love the leather bottom for babies. Even though my 9 month old has fairly large feet, I ordered a 0-6 month size and they fit perfectly! Adorable design, but not durable.

I read the reviews of previous customers regarding the size not being accurate. My daughter will be 1 in a few weeks and wears a size 3.5 and pushing into a 4 very soon. I ordered 6-12 months and the shoes I got looked like they were sized for a 3 year old. Again, I took the advice from previous reviews and ordered smaller (so I thought), but the size was outrageously too big. So as most other customers, I will be sending them back. I have no clue what size to order. But the design is adorable. I couldn't get a good view of how they will look on her feet because of the size difference, but I look forward to the correct size.

Does not fit well, would not stay on my sons feet at all. Constantly fell off when he was trying to walk.

This shoe is very cute! However, I found that they fell off every few steps, perhaps because they have a wide openining and no laces to keep them snug. Probably works great with kids with wider feet. Compared to Robeez or the Luvable friends high tops (both of which I love), I believe this product is just "okay"

The Good:- Fit was fine- Color was as advertisedThe Bad:- Toes scuffed within minutes of kid crawling in them.- Zero grip on hard surfaces for walkersIf you have a crawler these shoes are just fine as decoration. However, if you have a walker or a kiddo attempting to walk they can be hazardous on concrete, tile, or other hard surfaces because the little plastic dots offer zero grip. My kid did the splits so many times I was afraid he was going to try out for cheerleading.

Some wear and tear within a month. However I still like these pre-walker shoes. My son is an active boy and always likes to kick off his shoes so the little elastic part that gives the fit the stitching was frayed and came apart. I repaired it with needle and thread and is good as new.

I ordered these little shoes for my 1month old daughter. The sizing is accurate. The 0-6 is considered size SMALL. There is deffinitely growing room, they have a bulky shape. They are more like slippers than sneakers so if you are looking for something that is firm, dont buy these. They are soft on the inside and very soft and flexible on the outside. The packaging wasnt very good and the shoes came smashed and I am still trying to shape them back out. My daughter won't be able to fit into them well for awhile, but otherwise I am pleased.

Not sure what happened, but these are literally falling apart at the seams. We've had Robeez for our sons, and tried these pink elephant style for our daughter. Falling apart after only a month or so of wear. So disappointed!
I'd check the stitching prior to use. We had a spot that was pointed, but I didn't think anything of it. That's where they began to unravel...

The sizing is crazy. I recently purchased a different pair in the same style in 12 to 18 month size, but discovered they are WAY too large. So, I am saving them until she grows into them. Then, I just purchased a pair in the 6 to 12 month size hoping they would work, and they are just as big, if not bigger than the 12 to 18 month shoe! This makes no sense. They will have to go back.

These were great at the start - fit well and good quality with good traction. But my daughter is an avid walker and within ONE WEEK the traction wore thin and she began sliding all over the place. I can no longer use them.

Geez, these are so huge that my 1.5 yr old isn't fitting into them yet and she's way beyond the soft slippery sole phase because she's toddling. What's the point of huge soft soled shoes?!

I tried all different shoes for my 1 year old. Maybe she has wide or round feet because these were hard to get on her and she seemed uncomfortable in them around the ankle. The only ones that have worked for us are pediped.

Shoes look good and fit well but they didn't last more than a day before coming part. They might hold up better for babies just learning to walk rather than ones that are already running around.

My son never actually wore these because the bottoms were incredibly slippery on our hard wood floors. There are plastic dots on the bottom but they only seem to make them more slippery. I also didn't like the way the fit/looked. I thought no laces would be good but because there were no laces the toped stretched apart and looked weird. It might be because my son has very round feet but I didn't like it.

I ordered these in the tan version for a preg announcement photo we are doing. One of the sneakers is great, but on the other the elastic piece is an inch longer than it is supposed to be, and it looked very loose and floppy and awkward. I cut it down and resew it so we could use it for the photo, but I doubt we'll really use them when we have our babe. There is also some poor stitching in general on these. I would not recommend these for use to friends or family.

Had a size 0-6mo of these that were incredible and my daughter wore for about 8 months. But just got the larger size 3 weeks ago and already one of them is completely worn away on the top. It is very strange.

These shoes are huge. Look like they would fit a 4 year old.

Used it for a few minutes with baby walker: suede tore open and the stitching opened up! It is very poorly made. Durability is non-existent.

These shoes seemed to run a little larger than expected for my son. Now that he's grown into them (@ 10 mos), we've tried to have him wear them several times... he pulls them off immediately with no effort. The shoes are cute and inexpensive, but useless for us as we need something that will stay on his feet.

I bought them because of the beige color and it wasn't as I expected.It was more a light yellow and the line in the shoe sole was green.Not as shown in the image of the product.Definitely want to return this item, that's a pity.

I ordered these shoes. The seller sent me a different pair of shoes (the ones with laces) and noted on the packing slip that the ones I ordered were out of stock so they took the 'liberty' of a substitute. And yet they continue to sell the same color/size (gray, 6-12 month). I purposefully did not order the pair with laces due to complaints about how annoying they are to tie. I think they are assuming that no one will bother to return a $4 pair of shoes. It seems like a scam to me, or at least very poor customer service. Can I have my shoes, please???

I don't think someone should be charged a restocking fee if it is the company's fault, no matter how many days (within reason, a year no!) it takes to return the item. I currently live overseas. It takes longer for packages to arrive and also to be returned for me. I was not very impressed with this company when they sent me the shoe with the inside lining coming out. I returned the item the week I picked it up from the post office. I was refunded only a portion of my money, not including the shipping. I was charged a restock fee. I wouldn't have returned the product if it wasn't so poorly made. Are they even inspected before being shipped out? Very Disappointed with the service. I could have glued the shoe lining back in the shoe, but why would I want to do that to a brand new product that should have been sent to me intact?
