Great Soap, Clean's Everything!
June 22, 2017
So check this out, I noticed this soap was on sale in the grocery store. I picked up the peppermint which does leave a soothing sensation on your skin, and from the first time I used it I loved it. My favorite part of Dr. Bronners is how versatile it is, the bottle lists at least ten different uses for it on your body and your house. You can even wash your dog, your fruit or your floors with it. I love the smell of the tea tree oil.

When I use Dove or Lever it just kills my skin, drys it out, and doesn't feel healthy anymore. I'll probably use this soap for a long time. I'm a very brand loyal person. This soap is a diversion from the mainstream but it used on all the main things you want to clean.
Thank you!!!

Of o could give this treasure 10 stars I would. After spending a LOT of money on ringworm cures I finally found this. I've used Dr Bronners before and loved it, but never even thought to use this to help me rid of the stresses ringworm. Along with cleaning my house top to bottom, this was all I needed. It not only got my skin back, the smell isn't too overbearing and I love that I know it's good for me and keeps the shower clean also. From now on this is what I will stick to because it's purely amazing. I've also used it to clean the bathroom counters and sinks and it works perfectly. Love that it has many uses and I just wish I would've thought of it sooner! Hooray for Dr Bronner!
best soap for everything
January 11, 2016
I've loved this soap since the day I discovered it.
In making alot of homemade toiletries and supplies.. i use this in my dish soap, laundry detergent, all purpose cleaner, face & body wash. you can rub it in your eyes and it won't hurt! I like the antibacterial tea tree thing for most my cleaning, but peppermint is awesome to use as body wash, its tingly :D
This stuff is fantastic and I strongly recommend it.
Amazing!
January 5, 2015
Amazing soap. I have been using this as my body wash and it feels amazing. Not a huge fan of the scents (I own tea tree, almond, and lavender) although the scent fades right after I dry myself off so I don't really mind. Found the "cheat sheet" from Lisa Bronner's website and pasted it below:

CASTILE SOAP DILUTION CHEAT SHEET:

BODY USES:

1. FACE: 2-3 drops on wet hands, applied to wet face.
2. BODY: One small squirt on a wet washcloth, applied to a wet body.
3. HAIR: ½ Tbsp. in your hand, worked into wet hair, or dilute ½ Tbsp. in ½ a cup of water and work that into wet hair.
4. BATH: Completely depends upon water amount, but roughly 2 Tbsp. soap in an average sized tub. (Doesn't bubble, but still cleans.)
5. SHAVING: Face - 10 drops; Underarms - 3 drops; Legs - ½ tsp; Work to a lather in wet hands and then apply to area.
6. TEETH: 1 drop on a toothbrush. (Yes, it tastes like soap.)
7. FOOT BATH: 1½ tsp. in a small tub of hot water.
8. CLEARING CONGESTION: 1 Tbsp. in a bowl of steamy hot water. Breathe in mist with a towel draped over the head.

HOUSEHOLD USES:

9. DISHES (HANDWASHING): Pre-dilute 1:10 with water. Squirt on a scrub brush and scrub dishes.
10. LAUNDRY: 1/3 - 1/2 c. of soap for a large load in a normal washer. Add ½ c. vinegar to the rinse cycle. Use half of these amounts for HE.
11. MOPPING: ½ c. of soap in 3 gallons of hot water.
12. ALL-PURPOSE CLEANING: ¼ c. soap in a quart of water in a spray bottle. Add ¼ tsp. tea tree essential oil if desired.
13. WINDOWS: 1 Tbsp. soap in a quart of water in a spray bottle. Follow up with pure club soda, or half vinegar/half water.
14. TOILET: Predilute 1:4 with water in a squirt bottle. Add ¼ tsp. tea tree oil. Empty toilet, squirt bowl thoroughly, sprinkle baking soda on the brush, scrub bowl, let sit 10 minutes, turn water on, flush.
15. FRUIT & VEGGIE RINSE: 1 dash (approx.. ¼ tsp.) in a bowl of water. Dunk produce and swish. Then rinse in clear water.
16. DOG WASHING: Amount varies widely depending on size, hair type and length, and overall dirtiness. I wet my dog thoroughly, then start to work in castile soap up and down their body until I have a good lather. Really massage it in down to the skin. Your dog will thank you for it.
17. PLANT SPRAY FOR BUGS: 1 Tbsp. in a quart of water. Add ½ tsp. cayenne pepper or cinnamon, if desired.
18. ANT SPRAY (NOT ON PLANTS): ¼ c. tea tree soap in a quart of water. (This concentration will burn plants.)
Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Soap is the BEST for Body Odor
December 2, 2012
I rarely write product reviews but I am compelled to after using Dr. Bronner's Tea Tree Oil Soap. I have dealt with body odor the majority of my adult life. I have tried tons of different soaps that would seem to help only temporarily . I would sometimes take two showers a day and after sweating this 'funk' smell would start to form in my groin. Frankly it was embarrassing! A couple of weeks ago I decided to end this so I did research on different soaps. The all natural aspect of Dr. Bronner's was the original thing that brought me to the product but then doing further research on the benefits of Tea Tree Oil was what really sealed the deal for me. The anti-microbial,anti-fungal & anti-bacterial aspect of the soap is really evident. I have used it daily for a week and that 'funk' in my groin is completely gone. Even after a long day at work I get home and there is no odor. I'm completely impressed with this product, the people at Dr. Bronner's have gained a life-long customer!EDIT: A month later I am still odor free!! I'm just thrilled to have finally found a solution to this years old problem. I also started using Jungleman All-Natural Deodorant which contains Tea Tree Oil and it's excellent as well.EDIT: Two years later and I still have a bottle of this in my shower and love it as much as ever. I now try to rotate it with Bronner's Eucalyptus Soap and Chlorhexidine soap (Hibiclens but buy generic from a pet vendor much cheaper) maybe once a week. I found if you only use the Tea Tree oil the bacteria may develop a resistance and the smell slowly came back so cycling through the different soaps help prevent that!

Practical and useful for home and body
June 1, 2016
This liquid castile soap is amazing. I use it for everything. Hand soap, Shampoo, Body wash, Shaving cream, all purpose cleaner. I have not used it for baby shampoo as it might burn the eyes. This 32 oz bottle lasted me one year. a little goes a long way. Here's a tip for hand soap... fill a foam pump dispenser 3/4 with cold water and 2 Tbsp of castile soap. Voila. Foam soap. For other recipes just google Dr. Bronner's castile soap recipes and you will find a ton.
This stuff is amaze balls!
May 17, 2016
This stuff is amaze balls!!! My acne had gotten so bad (worse than ever) because of a prescription I was taking and I used this for about a month and my skin is much smoother and I'm not breaking out. Also, in conjunction with apple cider vinegar, the acne scars are diminishing.
You'll Love this One!
March 20, 2016
One of the best, if not the best organic liquid soap in the market. It easily foams, with a small amount going a very long way. It readily and easily rinses leaving no soap residue or film on the skin after a bath or shower. It leaves you instead with this thorough and deep feeling of cleanliness, freshness and rejuvenation. Definitely worth its price. Since I discovered it a few years back, in one of my local Health Food Stores, I practically use it exclusively either as a hand soap or to washing the entire body. Keeps skin nicely hydrated and the fragrances it comes in are not offensive like many other bar or liquids soaps out there, but rather soft, unobtrusive aromas. You'll love it, give it a try...
Great Product
March 9, 2016
Great body wash and shampoo as it doesn't contain harsh detergents like most commericial soaps and shampoos. The only drawback is the Peppermint one I purchased at Costco. So, I went back and ordered the almond one and it's terrific. I've been using Dr. Bronner's Castile soap for about two months now. I started with the peppermint, which I don't care for, and switched to the almond. I like the almond a lot better. I use it for a body wash and shampoo. My scalp is sensitive to detergents in regular shampoo's and reacts negatively. With Dr. Bronner's, I've noticed a marked positive improvement in my scalp and beard. If your skin is sensitive or you just want to get away from harsh chemical detergents in soaps and shampoos, then this is the one to try. I highly recommend it.
The one, the only, DR BRONNER'S
September 21, 2014
I am from the generation when every college student had Dr Bronner's in their shower and we all smelled like peppermint soap. The peppermint soap is wonderful in the heat of the summer because it cools you down after a shower. After all these years (36 yrs of peppermint) I decided to try the almond and rose soap. The almond is heaven. The rose is nice and mild. You just can't go wrong with Dr Bronner's. It has never changed and it is the best. You can use it for everything and if you need something to read while on the throne, the label is always entertaining.
The Best Soap Ever!
July 28, 2014
I've been using Dr. Bronner's liquid soaps since the 1980's. I've tried all the scents. Almond is now my favorite. It's the thickest of all the soaps. I also use it for hand-washables, washing fruit and veggies, and sometimes brushing my teeth. Can't live w/out it!

Tea Tree Castile liquid soap
August 23, 2017
Generally speaking, it's a good product. I recommend this product. Actually I would like to try their lavender Castile liquid soap as well.Pro:1. Your hands feel clean and smell clean2. You don't feel dryness.Con: too watery
smells a little like petroleum
August 3, 2017
I like Dr. Bronner's but next one I buy will probably be peppermint. The tea tree oil smells a little like petroleum.
Doesnt work with our well water.
July 18, 2017
Great soap when I used it in Colorado, but in our Texas home with 2000ppm hard well water, it's horrid..
Love tht it's organic
March 19, 2017
Received the product on date stated. I have been using it now for 3 weeks a bit too early to give a glowing report however it makes my skin feel soft and very clean. It's a little bit drying so moisterize well post use. It definitely helps with body odour. I have days when i don't have to use deodorant so that's a plus. Not really a fan of the smell tho. I guess it grows on you after a while? I love the fact that it is truly organic. I will definitely be buying different ones to try them out.
Pretty darn good.
May 1, 2016
I bought this in attempts to clear up some acne issues, though I do not suffer from a lot I do get blemishes in unpleasant areas. After reading the product description I decided to invest in a bottle of this. I've used it for about two weeks now and have noticed a difference in the blemishes. I think thus far it has worked wonderfully. What could be better is the smell. I was hoping for a more coconut smell since they use coconut in the product! Instead, it smells like the lumber section at Home Depot! I don't do a full body cleanse using this product, just areas of where acne is concerned. I did, however, but a bottle for my stinky friend, and it works great for stinky people! I have him wash with this and then he uses a different soap for fragrance. That's what you will have to do if you want to avoid smelling like the lumber section at Home Depot.Overall, it's a fantastic product for acne and/or those who suffer from body odor issues. I'd recommend it, the only thing I would say is to wash with this first and then use a fragrance soap.
Relaxing reading, and good for jock itch!
April 11, 2015
Does work well. Seemed to clear the ringworm on my thigh well enough. Not great for smell (acquired I suppose) or if you like to lather (lathering soap is apparently due to a "chemical romance" of not-so-eco-friendly ingredients). However, my favorite thing about this product is reading the bottle while I relax in the bath. Despite the obvious presence of mental illness, there is something kind of relaxing nonetheless about a guy wanting the world to be at peace and using a literal soapbox (or bottle) as a means to get it.

OK

I find that when washing dishes it needs to be rinsed off longer than other liquid soaps, even when diluted. It smells of almond in the bottle but leaves a strong smell of castille on the skin, which I don't like.
So so household do it all cleaner
May 16, 2017
I really wanted to be one of those people who loved Castile soap and used it for everything under the sun. I'm not there yet... I've used it for a few things and it's done an okay job. But it isn't so amazing that I would replace my other cleaners w it. I do like that it's not harsh on my skin while I used it (but I use organic cleaners now so I don't have that issue). I'd likely keep a bottle on hand, but don't swear by it... yet. I still have hope!
Works great with a foaming dispenser
November 8, 2016
Bought it to go in a foaming dispenser, and it works great - it is the right consistency. I'm not crazy about the aroma, but it is o.k.

July 1, 2016
I've used this for a decade for everything -- washing hands, clothes, body. However I stopped using it for body about a year ago because it severely dries out my significant other's skin, and I've recently found it very astringent on mine. Not sure if the formula slightly changed, or maybe our own skin did (haha), but we've switched to a more lubricating body wash instead.
A Little goes a Long way
January 11, 2016
I'm new to Castile soap. I'm not sure it lives up to the hype but I'll keep trying. I'm a little tired of the Almond smell. I use almond oil for moisturizer so that surprises me. I also bought the unscented, so when and if this bottle EVER runs out, I'll probably add essential oil to that and love it.
Hippie Soap
July 8, 2015
My mom uses this soap for almost everything from household cleaning to body soap. I use it because I try to stay away from all the chemicals found in other cleansing products. Currently, I mix this with some tea tree essential oil in a bottle for a very cleansing body wash that helps clear up slight acne and gives a very refreshing scent. I have also used this in the wash machine for some of my more delicate cycles (like expensive jeans) because it is very gentle on fabric and does not fade the color as much. If you read other reviews, you'll see that people use it for a whole hosts of things. The only reason I took a star off is because the almond scent is a little weak, although pleasant.

Just don't get the Tea Tree Oil
July 5, 2017
I love Dr. Bronner's soaps, have been using them for years. Typically, they'd receive a 5/5. But the tea tree oil scent is overwhelming and unpleasant. It smells funky and definitely not like I'm smelling better, and unfortunately I don't think I'll be able to use the bottle b/c it's just too strong of a scent.

I was somewhat disappointed w the smell of the soap. I still am using it though!
was expecting this to replace my black soap and lavender ...
October 15, 2015
was expecting this to replace my black soap and lavender version of DB soap. Even after diluting this product, it was too harsh for my face. I never had to dilute the lavender kind. This product works wonders for armpits & lady parts.
Didn't like the smell, didn't work as well as I hoped.
July 5, 2015
I bought this soap because I read that it's the best at getting cooked on gunk off your pots and pans. I don't think so. Barkeeper's Friend has it beat for that. I also don't like the smell of it. It smells like dandruff shampoo, which I understand is a great use for this product, but since I don't need dandruff shampoo, I'll probably use what's left of this to wash the cars and then not buy it again.I highly recommend Dr. Bronner's Lavender Castile Soap. It's wonderful. I use it for all my cleaning. It makes the house smell so fresh!
Nice natural sudsy soap
August 26, 2014
I bought this because I wanted tea tree oil for my feet because I read tea tree oil soap can help with toe fungus. Tea Tree smells awful, but that's not the soaps fault, I just don't like the smell of tea tree oil. The soap however I don't really like the glycerin soap, it leaves a yukky scum in the tub and feels weird on my hands. Some people may like that feeling because they think it gives the skin moisture, but I just don't like the glycerin soap feel. That's not the soaps fault either, I knew it was a glycerin soap when I bought it. I like the fact that the soap really suds up great and I feel like it does a great job on my feet, and I like that it is a natural soap because I am sensitive to chemicals. So in conclusion, I love the sudsy safeness of the soap, but the smell and texture are not something that I would use on my hands or body because I worry that someone would smell it on me!
Good and natural cleaning properties....if you can get past the smell!
July 18, 2014
This product arrived on time as promised and in good condition. I was curious about this because of so many great reviews. I am not quite sure about my final opinion since I have only been using it for a few days. The maker of the soap claims many uses for their soaps (including brushing teeth??) and I guess ANY soap could be used 18 ways or more but as a practical matter I'm not so sure.First, I bought the Tea Tree type expecting to get a tingly feeling, similar to Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree shampoo....which I LOVE.I primarily was interested in using it as a body wash since the price places it in the Neutrogena price range. I liked the claims that it was a natural anti-bacterial.I used it full strength but can't say it tingled. I used it un-diluted as a shaving cream. It did OK and did not break me out. I used as a body wash. It felt a little odd, made some lather but didn't feel smooth or jellied like regular body wash. It did make me feel clean.I used it as a shampoo. It really cleans hair down to a squeaky clean and removed all oils and buildup. Some people may think it cleans TOO well on hair and may strip it of too much oil, but a conditioner was recommended and probably a good idea.Now....the bad.To me and to several of my friends.. in the bottle.....the Tea Tree soap smells STRONG and almost like Kerosene! One described it as a mix of Diesel Fuel and pine oil! I kind of agree. I'm not sure if that smell stays with me when I wash with it but if it does, that will be a drawback. Maybe with some watering down or a follow up with another product will help, but that will defeat my purpose of using all natural product. At $16 a quart, I would not want to use this cleaner to scrub a toilet, wash dishes, mop my floors or do anything like laundry with it. I may test it as a degreaser or use it at different dilutions just to see how that goes.Overall, not quite what I was looking for.

Love Bronner's Overall
June 10, 2015
Less fragrant than I had hoped and it seems thinner than this brand's tea tree soap. I love the brand, love they are a family business, and love that they keep other brands accountable to the organic label. I hate that California threatened to sue them for "prescribing" just because the Bronners had printed proven benefits on a product label. Only licensed pharmaceutical companies are allowed that freedom of speech.
I really like almond scents
January 4, 2015
I've been using Dr. Bronners soaps for years now. I really like almond scents, so I figured this would be perfect. Unfortunately, not so. The smell doesn't really seem all that natural... and it's extremely strong. Moreso than any other Dr Bronners soap I've tried before.
Don't believe the hype!
October 1, 2014
Wish I was as thrilled with these products as everyone else, I had lots of hope, but just not impressed. Will continue to use my essential oil DIY mixtures. There is something in these soaps that leaves a horrid residue. Even when mixed as directed for hand soap at my work place (I work in a clinic), the stainless steel sink where all the nurses and providers uses this has residue stains all over the sink and surrounding area!!! My skin feels waxy and not clean at all after use. Will not purchase again. Smells good, but other than that..... yuck!
Overall good but not great.
May 3, 2014
Great smell. Still trying to figure out the best method for using this particular scent/product. Was not very effective as a cleaning agent on my wood floors nor kitchen and bathroom tiles. Left streaks and a haze on all floor textures. This caused me to do a follow up buffering...not what I want to have to do--a third round following sweeping then mopping. As far as in the bath: great smell even though I can't figure out the right formulation for using with my children who also love the smell. Tried to dilute with water for their bath soap, but found a 2 to 1 soap-water mix more effective. Does not create bubble bath effect so I find it wasteful to simply add into their bath water.
Nice soap
May 2, 2014
I bought this because it is free from all of the nasty chemicals found in most soaps. However, as other users mentioned, putting it in a regular soap dispenser leads to frequent clogging. If you're not prepared for it, like a can of hairspray that crusts up after a few sprays and hits everywhere except where you're aming, this soap clogs and does the same thing. That's one point. The other thing I don't appreciate it how runny it is. It's as bad as when people add water to the container of soap to use up what's left but when you go to depress the nozzle to squirt it in your hands, it runs right off the palm of your hand.I also tried using it for dish soap. I'm accustomed to suds so that was an issue I already knew I was going to have. But I quickly had to revert back to using Dawn dish soap as I did not feel it was getting my dishes clean. I hand wash everything and have since I was 7 years old. I know when soap is working and this didn't do it for me.On the positive side, the smell is wonderfully intoxicating. I haven't tried it as a clothing detergent but that's next. Wish I could be more positive about it but for now, this is it.
OK as soap but not shampoo
April 2, 2014
I took this backcountry camping where I needed something all-purpose and bio-degradable. It worked well as dish soap, and bath soap but awful as shampoo. I hadn't brought any conditioner and I was unable to comb out my hair. Until I got back to civilization, and was able to rewash with conditioner, my hair just had to look like Medusa's snakes. I went 5 days without combing my hair. The smell starts out nice but it has a bad after-smell. I wouldn't order the almond again. And if I take it camping again I'm bringing conditioner - even if it has to be leave-in conditioner if I can't find something biodegradable.

Pungent scent

We love Dr. Bronners soaps but this Tea Tree scent is pungent and obnoxious. When diluted for a foamer it's more tolerable but not nearly as nice as their other scents.
What's that smell?
June 27, 2016
I'm a huge fan and long time user of Dr. Bronner's products but the smell of this soap is not very nice. To me it smells so much like diesel fuel that I'm gonna pour the rest in my truck and see if it works in there. I'll continue to use the products just not the tea tree/hemp scent.
Really Dried Me Out
February 17, 2016
Checked out the reviews before buying, but I definitely feel like I was mislead. I didn't care for the scent, and the little bit I used made my skin feel like dry rubber while I was still in the shower. I had to use a lot of lotion once I hopped out. I may find an alternative use for this.
Too strong an odor for hands..
May 13, 2015
Purchased for my bathroom sink as a hand cleaner. Just can't get past the strong pine-sol like odor.Maybe I will try it out on the floors.
Smells Weird, Feels Weird
December 29, 2014
It smells weird, which I could get past if it worked well. All it did is make my skin feel like rubber by time I got out of the shower. No amount of lotion could get me away from the dried out feeling and almost ticky demeanor of my skin.It was bizarre! No matter how long I waited it was a chore just to get clothes on after being dried off. I ended up going with "everyone" body wash. It's a great alternative if you're looking for low toxicity ratings. Cheers!
The cleaning power of pine, now in bodywash form!
August 20, 2014
I really wanted to like this soap. It does a decent job of making me feel clean, with no off-putting residue or film after use. The smell, however, is atrocious. It is so strong and overwhelming, that I feel somewhat light headed if I take a direct whiff from the container. I have had tea tree shampoo in the past which was tingly, pleasant smelling, and relaxing... this smells like I am squeezing Pine-sol directly on my loofah. I have purchased the almond soap in the past, which was pretty nice, but I will not purchase this scent again.

weird smell when used for laundry
February 24, 2014
When I used the soap with baking soda and vinegar for laundry, as recommended by the Dr. Bronner's people themselves, and the smell that came from that combo left my clothes smelling like old baby spit-up or dirty diapers. It was surprisingly foul. And it wasn't something that could be aired out of them--I had to rewash the clothes in another detergent. Disappointing.
I don't like it.
December 12, 2013
I've tried to work with this soap for a year and am finally ready to donate it out. It was a gift and is almost full. It has a nice scent.I really tried to like this product. It boasts having multiple uses, but it just isn't plausible for me personally. It feels really weird on skin. I don't like the feeling (diluted or full strength), and I honestly can't tell if it cleans or not. I feel like I have to scrub very hard. Diluted seems to not lather at all or feel clean as I'm using it, and full strength lathers well. It's too drying for AA coily 3/4 hair (diluted).I don't think it cleans well enough as a all purpose cleaner for the bathroom (diluted or full strength).I am no way putting soap in my mouth to use as a toothpaste. There's probably a hundred more uses I could try, but those are the only ones I wanted to consider using it for. It's useless to me and I'm glad it was a gift. I would not purchase and honestly feel this product is a bit over-hyped. There are better natural options out there if you need a beauty soap.
You have to be kidding!

This is nothing more than a big bottle of liquid soap. You are better off at the dollar store. I tried as a shampoo and it left my hair dull and dry...even though I diluted it a lot. I tried cleaning with it but it didn't do an adequate job. I tried it as a body wash but again it left my skin dry. I have now resorted to using it for dog shampoo! would not recommend

Totally clogged my pores!! Do not use on face!!
February 25, 2016
Bought this to use on my face, as there were so many good reviews about how this with the tree tree oil would be good for acne. What a hoax!! Yes, my face felt super squeaky clean afterwards, but because it stripped all oils, my face overcompensated by massively overproducing oil. Also, the ingredients lists coconut oil and vit E, which are known to clog pores. Used it the first night and went to bed. The next morning my pores were so clogged they looked like grotesque brown dots all over my T-zone. Maybe my skin just doesn't do well with those ingredients, as I have heard some other people use coconut oil and vit E with no issues. Either way, this product is not for me and it will be relegated to dish washing duty from now on.

Smells terrible. Love other scents I have used all others for years. Never tried the Rose. Gave it a shot. Almost a smell of rotting fruit or even vomit. Can't understand how ANYONE finds these smell even "ok". Maybe I received a bad batch? I don't know but this was my first experience with the rose scent and I am not willing to try again.
not for me
November 23, 2015
I really didn't like this product. I like the idea behind the company, but the turpentine smell of the tea tree oil version is really unpleasant to me. It is extremely drying on my hair and skin yet, when used for other things such as dishwashing, it leaves an unpleasant oily residue. I have yet to find anything useful for me and I will probably end up throwing the rest away.

Honestly, I prefer Mrs. Meyers... Basil scent

The initial almond aroma smells great. I'm very particular about scents, I don't love the post cleaning smell. I purchased specifically for house cleaning. I dislike the water changing to cloudy when I dilute. I feel it's takes a lot of rinsing, leaves residue on surfaces. After cleaning my house it smells like I need to clean my house again. Honestly, I prefer Mrs. Meyers in Basil scent.

Super strong and nasty scent.

Love the soap, HATE the scent. It REEKS like fake almond extract. I've never smelled an almond that smelled like this. Super gross. It's like 1980's old lady bathroom soap reminiscent, just the worst. Kinda makes me sick. Oh, and all of the incoherent and disconnected religious (yes, I know the history) writing covering literally every inch of the label is pretty creepy too.
... would work for our gray water system and everyone recommended Dr. Bronners

I was looking for soap that would work for our gray water system and everyone recommended Dr. Bronners. All the reviews said that this is the most amazing soap ever. This stuff is terrible! Tried using in foam (mixed with water) dispenser for hand washing and also used it to wash dishes. It leaves this weird film on everything. Felt like hands were sticky after washing. Dishes didn't feel like they rinsed clean. Left a horrible film on my stainless sink. I don't know how people use this as their miracle cleaning product. Definitely a big mistake. Prefer the Better Life products .

Horrible! I have very sensitive skin and this is organic and all natural, so I thought I would try it. Big mistake! It burns and I now have large red welts from irritation. I did my homework prior to using also as far as how much to use. Don't make my mistake. I returned it and will have to buy something else! It did smell good though so that's a positive. I'm sticking to G.U.D. or Giovanni I guess.
