I was kinda worried about this powder because of the varying comments about its taste, but this powder taste AMAZING. It's not chalky or graining, and it's super creamy and chocolately if you use coconut milk. Soooo good. I've only drank it a few times so idk about results as far as muscle building, but for the price and organic plant-based ingredients, I would highly recommend

I wanted to keep my consumption of animal protein low and this fit the bill so I tried it.Yes, it's a bit grainy. (It's got 5 g of fiber per serving so I pretend the grittiness is just proof.)Yes, it tastes a little chalky.Yes, the Stevia leaves a bizarre aftertaste.But I don't understand what else anyone expects from a protein powder made from plants. This tastes exactly like I thought it would-- a hippie grocery store bulk section...in powder form.Is it delicious? Lol.Is it smooth and sweet? No and no.Is it the best tasting protein powder I've ever had? Absolutely not.Is it as versatile as whey? Hell no.Is it 20 grams of organic plant protein that goes down relatively easily and makes me feel like I'm not guzzling Brondo or bovine growth hormone? Yes, yes, yes and yes.Call me crazy, but when I'm looking for an organic plant protein powder, I understand it's not going to taste like a milkshake. And I'm okay with that.

Nice flavor. Mixes well with a blender bottle. It is a little grainy but that's expected with Vegan Protein mixes. You also have to use 2 full scoops for 20g of protein (another bummer with Vegan Proteins).All-in-all pretty great for what it is.

Great taste if you use almond milk or milk, water makes it too thin and it has a cheap choc taste. I keep it in the refrigerator/cold until I need it. I also use a blender bottle to mix it. Smooth not chunky just like a milkshake. It is a great meal replacement, it makes me feel full for about 3 hours.

I love this product . It tastes great and fills me up. I need gluten-, lactose- and fructose-free products. This meets my needs perfectly!!

For the price you really can't go wrong. Good, smooth flavor. The reason why it's not perfect FOR ME is the added fat and fiber, I take this following my lifting and cardio training so optimally I want straight protein before any carbs or fat. But for the price? Just get it.

I tried a different protein recently and switched back to Syntha-6. But I did stay on Livigra by Biotek Nutrition – Male Enhancement Pills Testosterone Booster – Increases Size, Libido, Energy, Mood, Performance Stamina after I tried it. The extra sex-drive has helped my confidence.

On the basis of its taste and consistency when mixed with almond milk, I would award six stars! This is the best tasting protein powder I've ever had. Formally, I was adding a banana to my protein shakes, but after reading about how bananas can contribute to belly fat, I substituted one half of an avocado instead. However, I really miss the flavor of the banana.Usually, products that are banana flavored taste nothing like bananas. I can assure you that this tastes like fresh bananas were added to your protein shake. In addition to its wonderful flavor, it's consistency when mixed is better than anything I've tried before. It's silky smooth without the foam or frothiness of most protein powders. It tasted so good the first time I tried it after my morning workout, I had another one for dinner!I also do not feel weighted down or sluggish in some of the other protein powders and made me feel. It is filling without making you feel like you've had too much. When this container runs out, I will buy another one (and probably continue to buy it from now on).

I order some of the Chocolate-Peanut butter and it tastes great! What I also love about this is that it's only 200 calories per serving so for someone like me who works out at night, it's nice that I don't have to worry about packing on the pounds if I want to drink my shake at 10 PM. This also tastes much better than some of the other protein shakes I've had. It's not grainy and is really smooth with a blender bottle.Only this I will say is, make sure you wash your bottle/cup immediately after. Next day protein smells like death.

Since I was fascinated with AMINOx from BSN, it led me to buy their whey protein. I must say this has been the best whey protein powder i've tried overall. The taste in great, having tried strawberry milkshake only. It does not affect my body negatively as in being bloated like other protein powders. My next refill will be from BSN! Next on my list, are their creatine.

My favorite protein to date. Easily mixes in water or milk. I like preparing my protein shake with frozen strawberries, a couple ice cubes, 5g of creatine, and some low fat milk. I've been taking some form of protein powder for over a 20 year period. Recently, I've looked for an all in one powder that I can readily make and shake after workouts as well as before bed or during the day if I need a quick meal replacement. This would replace whey after a workout, and casein before bed I am just tired of buying multiple bottles of protein powder. I look for 4 things when picking out a protein powder (not in any particular order) :1) Nutrient profile: This has 22 grams of protein, and includes a mix of whey and casein, which is what I was taking before in two separate products. It also has 15 grams of carbs, which is pretty low (I'll buy anything below 20g of carbs, but the lower the better).2) Flavor: Taste is pretty good. I usually get protein in either chocolate or vanilla, and I got the Vanilla Syntha-6. It doesn't have any sweetener aftertaste or gritty flavor, which is a problem. I usually mix it with water, it tastes as good in water as it can taste. I'll occasionally mix it with milk, which makes it almost creamy tasting but beware Dairy can make you hold water so I only do that when I am bulking or not worried about overall calorie intake.3) Mixability: Syntha-6 mixes extremely well in water or milk in my shaker bottle, with no clumps. I've been using this protein for a few years now, as I've wanted something with cleaner ingredients. My only complaint is that the container is filled approximately 60%, either make the container smaller and charge the same amount or fill it all the way.My post workout shake consists of:-12 oz water- 3 scoops of this protein- spoonful of chia seeds- spoonful of flaxseeds- 1 banana- 3 - 4 pitted dates- ice

Anyone that's ever had a protein powder knows that especially the plant-based ones don't always have the best flavor but this one is probably the best we've ever tasted. It tastes very strong like vanilla And gives you a nice full feeling afterwards which is great for an afternoon pick-me-up instead of a large meal. Don't expect to fall in love with it or anything but it is definitely doable, Is about as good as it gets when talking plant-based protein powder.

Good taste and smell. This was my first time trying protein powder. The serving size on the bottle recommends 2 scoops. I used one scoop in a shake to start. It really irritated my stomach for several hours. I gave it a break for a few days and tried one spoonful in a shake. That was much better. I'm slowly working up tolerance to one full scoop.

I like this stuff, 3rd time re-purchasing. I'm not sure if some of the negative reviews have to do with the taste due to drinking by itself, because if that's the case, I wouldn't recommend doing that. I however drink it with fruit and other things as I have always done with protein smoothies, so I don't notice a taste at all, a just a good way to get in extra protein.

I ordered this because I read on a fitness blog that it was a good comparison to Shakeology. I love Shakeology but I don't love the price so I wanted to give this a try. I ordered the chocolate. At first, I thought it tasted a little "planty" but I got used to the taste rather quickly. If I'm in a hurry I drink it plain and like it just fine. Sometimes I will add a banana (or half of one). The only downside is that when I tried Shakeology I felt like it gave me energy and this doesn't have the same effect. I wish it did! However, the chocolate tastes good and it makes me feel full. It makes a great healthy snack.

I have tried numerous protein powders on the market and I think the chocolate cake batter flavor on this product is one of my favorites. I appreciate that the calories are only 200 per serving while still providing a lot of protein. I mix one scoop of the chocolate cake batter protein powder, a frozen banana, and a cup and a half of unsweetened almond milk. It really keeps me full for a few hours which is good because I am trying to eat it for lunch. My only complaint is that this powder, like many others, causes some issues gas. Overall, though, I am happy.

I've been looking for a new protein powder now that things are getting more and more expensive. After reading reviews on BSN, it seemed like this would be the new powder for me but I'm just not completely sold on it. The taste isn't bad but it just doesn't mix well unless you are using a blender. Sometimes i just need to toss my powder in a glass to mix and go and I feel like I couldn't do that with this powder. Otherwise, it has been a good product but I'll keep looking for something that suits me better.

It was recommended that I try the Chocolate Peanut butter flavor from a friend. Initially I purchased the smaller container, not expecting to actually enjoy this protein as much as I did. The taste is great and it is very similar to Reeses, although not quite there yet. Just use cold water, however, room temp water is fine too. Only negative for me is the nutrition content as compared to other competitors. The fat content is relatively high at 6g compared to ON with a measely 1.5g. I advise that if you are looking for a Macro friendly protein, take that in to consideration.

This is good stuff. It has a bit of sugar in it, but I can live with that for such a great taste. It works great on its own or mixed into a smoothie with other ingredients. It's delicious to drink, so there's no forcing it down. Great price also.

I'm overall happy with the product. I've been using BSN Syntha6 and TrueMass for a few years now and have never reviewed it. The protein tastes very good! A little bit sweet. It mixes great in both water and milk with no clumps. This was the first time I ordered the large bag option and I have to warn others of the seal. The plastic zipper isn't very trustworthy... the black slider falls off ALL the time. I haven't figured out how to keep it on. So this makes it difficult to seal the bag. And by "difficult" I mean that it's a real pain in the ass. I have almost spilled it a few times already. So just keep that in mind!

For the money, this product does a great job. There are tons of alternatives, however the flavor, dilution, absorption and overall effectiveness are great. There are quite a few products I've had over the years and some taste bad, don't offer the muscle absorption, make you bloated/gassy or just flat don't work. I use this most every morning after my workouts. I miss it with fruit in a blender and almond milk some days and just us e a shaker cup and water if I'm traveling for work. Either way, great results and consistent taste and flavor. The chocolate milkshake is pretty damn tasty!

Cannot stand the artificial sweetener flavor. The less sweet for me, the better. SHould have gotten unsweetened ;/ For those looking for Green tea milkshake flavor, should be good. Not sure how I feel about the "creamer" base and artificial flavors? Who needs that in the protein powder??? People, do your research

The fake chocolate sugar aftertaste is strong. My whole point of getting this was to stay pure and only use water/ice and fruit for smoothies, but now I have to consider adding almond milk and other stronger flavors just to not throw this powder away. The point of the shake should be to look forward to it, instead I am only still going to try and power through it, because it is good ingredients for my diet plan. I love the idea of this drink, but my other whey chocolate powder blows this out of the water when it comes to taste. If they fix the flavor I will try it again in a sample some day.

The taste is Okay compared to other protein powders I used.But if any protein powder has green peas, after taste is not so good. So this is not an exception.but 2 scoops for just 8 ounces is too much. for 18 to 20 ounces of liquid it is Okay.I bought the vanilla one, which is too sweet , that's why I gave only 3 stars.

wow, may be ok with unsweetened almond milk, taste is overwhelmingly stevia sweet and difficult to drink when you add to fruit and juices verses other proteins without stevia.

This protein is not for me-- the flavor is too sweet. At times it reminds me of a vanilla shake from McDonalds. Too overpowering for a morning smoothie that is supposed to be fresh! But the consistency is great, and it mixes well. I will not be re-purchasing this flavor

Good for the use of adding way to your diet, personally, I'm not crazy about the vanilla flavoring. I've had better. However, my husband does seem to like it.

The taste is ok but I mix it in with water and it is still really thick. It would be much easier to drink if it wasn't thicker than a milkshake.It is cheap however for the same amount of protein, other products charge far more.

A lot of fillers for the protein source (22 grams of protein/ 47.2 grams per serving) Taste great with water and almond milk. Other better proteins out there but this works so far

I'd like to start by saying Syntha-6 is a great brand of protein. I've made the most gains with this brand specifically than other brands so this is the protein that works for me. However, strawberry is not the best Syntha-6 flavor. I have been a long time user of the Syntha-6 Cookies and Cream flavor and decided to change it up for once. I'd describe this flavor as an artificial strawberry a little like Nesquick but less tasty. However, when you mix it with water it is fairly light and goes down smooth. I will go back to Cookies and Cream though because of the taste.

I have been using bsn syntha 6 for 4 years now. The taste is the best, any flavor you pick wont go wrong. However, this was my first time purchasing the 10 lbs bag and i am disappointed due to difficulty of zipping it up. It doesnt zip well and this causes protein to be exposed with air, which I dont want it. I think bsn could have done a better job with this issue. I dont know if my product is defected or not but i am not satisfied wit this 10 lbs bag.

I love the ingredients that are in BSN's Syntha-6 protein, however this flavor doesn't really do it for me. I have had the vanilla ice cream flavor in the past and there is no comparison to me. This is such high quality protein that I would still recommend any of the flavors, but the vanilla ice cream just tastes better and goes down easier. If you're debating which type of protein you want, you definitely can't go wrong with Syntha-6.

I ordered the chocolate flavor, with the expectation that it would taste similar if not identical to BSN's "Chocolate Milkshake" flavor of Syntha-6 in a tub. Unfortunately, the taste isn't close. I would say it has a peppermint flavor to it, which after a hard workout is not what I want to be guzzling down. The protein is there, the blend of BCAA's is there, but the flavor is a huge miss. This RTD protein product is tolerable, but it's cheaper and tastes better to have a shaker cup and some normal Syntha-6 on hand. If you want to give this product a try, I would recommend going to a nutrition store and trying one first before committing to buy a 12 pack.

For being a best seller, I DO NOT like the taste. I was really excited to try this, I am not a muscle head, just an average guy that drinks a protein shake after a workout. This is plant based, and it definitely tastes like a plant. And it has a gritty/chalky aftertaste, you can feel it on your teeth after a sip.

I was buying the protein shakes that come in the little carton and those were delicious. I figured the protein mix wouldn't have been much different but boy was I wrong. I can't drink this at all. I've tried almond milk with fruit in it still tastes pretty bad. I can't imagine screwing up a protein drink so I'm not going to blame myself for the bad taste. I don't know why it tastes drastically different from the protein drink, but it does.

My review is only on the chocolate fudge , I have tried several other brands and was excited to try this as a healthier option. Unfortunately it's not for me, it has a terrible aftertaste I struggle to get it down. Best option is to mix in blender with coconut milk and fruit to mask the taste. Will continue to try other brands

I bought chocolate, and to me it tastes like artificial sweetener with that gross after taste. I use stevia in my coffee and tea rather than any artificial sweeteners, so maybe If you're used to the taste it won't be as overwhelming.I intended to repurchase Elite protein plant based, which tastes just right, but a lot of others must agree; because it's out of stock.

This is by far the most disgusting protein powder I've had... ever. It tasted like chalk, not really like chocolate at all. I would definitely not recommend this to anyone expecting something yummy and chocolaty. I've had plant based protein powder from other brands that tasted much better. The shipping was quick so... that was a good thing.

There are hundreds of protein powers on the market and its really hard for an average person to compare the benefits. I have used three 5 pound containers of BSN Syntha-6. I have been using different brands of protein for over 15 years. I am a very healthy middle aged male and work out moderately 6 days a week. I am not trying to bulk up, I only want to stay lean and healthy. I have a physical every year and confirm my blood pressure and other reading are where they should be. I started using BSN Syntha-6 shortly after my last physical. A couple of weeks later I had a dental cleaning and check up. My dental office for what ever reason checks blood pressure at the beginning of the appointment. The nurse informed me that my blood pressure was high and even took a second reading to confirm. I told her that I started a new protein supplement recently and felt this could be the reason. She confirmed my concern was legit and went into the reasons why. I continued to use BSN Syntha-6 and confirmed with my physician that my blood pressure is on the higher end of average. As I started out saying at the beginning of this review, its hard to really compare the benefits or disadvantages of the different products but I believe BSN Syntha-6 is the cause of my increase in blood pressure. One thing I know for sure, I didn't have high blood pressure two weeks before using this product and I've been using other brands of protein for 15 years prior to using this product. I also haven't seen any benefits from this product that I haven't seen from the others I've used. In conclusion, I love the taste and feel its a good value but It's not worth the risk to my health to continue using. BSN Syntha-6 may be a great product but its just not the right product for me.

Great protein but avoid banana flavor like the plague! The first impression was that it tasted just like banana laffy taffy but the after taste is so artificial and bitter.

Previously I was using "IsoBurn" with no problems at all, but just recently switched to this stuff. I thought that these symptoms might be associated with something else, so I actually tried it 3 times with a few days in between, I had the same problems each time. Possibly my own physiology or a bad batch, but I tossed this stuff in the trash, I wont be trying it a fourth time.

Arrived quickly, but the product wasn't nearly as full once I finally opened it. Compared to other Syntha 6 containers, it was missing a quite a bit.Flavor is good.

It will definitely work as a whey protein and give you the benefits of making you feel full to avoid over-eating or snacking. However, I noticed no substantial muscle growth. I've taken other powders and seen immediate results, and this was just lack-luster. Again, if you need a meal replacement powder it will work...but don't expect much else.

Doesn't mix very well. I didn't like the very sweet and milky/creamy chocolate flavor. Was kind of like an artificial vanilla chocolate flavor.

Fake product. The printed ingredients are mixed up and monkfruit extract is missing... It also tastes different. See pictures to believe it.

Vanilla flavored in strawberry packaging - disappointing

I have ordered this product before and absolutely loved it. With the one I just ordered, I kept getting a strange taste and it seemed like there were little clusters at the bottom that were really sweet. I wondered if I had gotten a counterfeit product, and checked the label against the online pictures. I discovered I had been sent chocolate peanut butter rather than the chocolate milkshake I had ordered. Good thing I'm not allergic to peanuts!

I usually love this product. I had it awhile ago and it was great.Unfortunately, I can't say I'm having a good experience with my order. The taste is god awful and there's little black circles floating around even after shaking it profusely (I'm not sure if this is suppose to be there, they weren't last time I got this flavor.)It seems like I lost $50 because I have a very hard time getting myself to take down this disgusting flavor. If you are a gym rat, you will understand how devastating not having readily available protein is. And since I'm a college student, I don't have the funds to just go out and buy a new one.I will be contacting them for a refund or possibly a better flavor and then updating my review.

The cookies and cream flavor is terrible. Total waste of $30.

Product is extremely terrible on the stomach. Gave me diarrhea virtually every time I took it no matter what time of the day it was.
