So far, after two weeks of abuse, this one is still holding its own against me and the constant twisting and curling. I use an htc m8 and the cable has not only held up but has charged quick. Even with the high power demand I put the phone through with videos, emails and business, the phone continues to charge up with this cable. The toughest cable you will ever find. Torture Tests!January 16, 2016 I have been very impressed with this product. My wife and I both love a 10 Ft. Cord, and we had purchased so many of the cheap generic knock off cables for just a few dollars in the past. Never again. This is absolutely the way to go.From the strength of the cord, to the length of the cord, to the quality of the usb port itself, they nailed this product in design. I will give some torture test examples further into the review.If you are worried about the usb cord fitting your phone with a case on, have no fear. This cord is designed with thick cases in mind. It has a small footprint as far as the casing AROUND the micro usb port end, but is long enough to get into the deepest crevice of a charge port. The thickness of the cable leads me to believe that this may be my last purchase as far as cables for a while.The only downfall you might find is if you are one of those that prefers a loosey goosey floppy cord. This is a rigid, thick, "Not gonna break TODAAAAYYYYY" cable. I am very impressed with it and pleased beyond words.Torture Test:I have a new puppy who loves to chew on this thing. I have had the puppy since before Christmas and have caught him chewing this cable multiple times and it still works with no damage visible.Torture Test 2:My wife is not the most graceful and actually tripped over the cable, slinging the cable and a phone flying across the room. The damage done was a bent micro usb end, not broken, just bent. I just bent the end back expecting it to break off like most flimsy cheap metal ends. With this cable I was actually able to bend the usb port back into the correct position and it still works like it did and looks as it did on day one.You can't get a tougher cable, I've tried and I finally found the one.Buy it! My Samsung Galaxy S6 has problems with some charging cables not making a good connection(that includes the one that came with the phone) I assume it's a gimmick to get you to buy the wireless charging stand as it's a frequent issue. This cord, however, fits so well it's a non-issue. The connections would work for awhile then for unknown reasons the connection would be lost. Since my phone briefly turns on every time connection is made or lost, the phone would turn on and off many, many times throughout the night. Instead of being fully charged in the morning, my phone would be completely dead.I came across this cable and decided to give it a try. I've used this the past 2 nights and it hasn't lost connection yet. It works perfectly and my phone gets fully charged.My only complaint is the housing around/between the metal USB and the cable is slick. This means you need to really squeeze the housing tight or pull the cable itself to remove from the phone. Pulling on the cable doesn't seem like a good idea. I am going to score siping cuts into the housing which should help. |

| Phone is OK .....October 3, 2016 I recently bought this and took it to India for use. I had one US SIM in a slot and an Indian SIM on the other. The phone worked just fine. One thing I want to tell about is the camera. The app kept crashing after taking a photo. Even with 60% of memory left on 512MB RAM. Anyway, the phone worked every time I made calls & when I sent SMS'. That was enough for me. It is good for the price $75. I don't do spybook just check email and other simple stuff. Camera is OK if you have bright light if you need to depend on flash forget it. Video tends to blur a lot with movement. Call quality is OK. I did take case off and make mike hole and protective cover hole bigger now most people can hear me. OS is very stable it rarely locks up if so just restart the app. I would buy this again and recommend it to a person who doesn't need a lot of apps and is just a basic phone user. Price is right. Somehow.May 31, 2016 This review describes a 3ft cable.I intended to use this as a charging cable for my phone in my car, but, while connected, my phone would charge for some 20 seconds and then cease to charge (prompting the disconnection beep and light-up) and then immediately resume. That doesn't sound like a big deal until you think about the disconnection beep sound interrupting the music or the turn-by-turn navigation playing from the phone through the car speakers.That said, I cannot be certain what the problem truly is. I don't have this problem with other cables - including a 6ft Shazo just like this one (!) - but it also doesn't happen with this cable except within my car (charging from the wall or connecting to a PC works just fine).These days, I keep the cable as a dedicated PC connection cable. Metal on end bends out of place too easilyMay 8, 2016 I love evverything about this cord except the one major flaw: the part that actually goes into your device is not well-attached to the rest of the cord. The metal part bends or comes out of place very easily. I originally bought a 3 foot version, but after my phone was knocked off the table once, the metal part was bent irreparably and the cord became useless. I figured it was a freak accident (I have never seen a charger break that easily) so I bought the 6 foot version. Although it still works, after one 2-foot fall the metal has already bent slightly out of place. If it weren't for this one flaw, this would be my go-to charger and I'd buy a bunch of them, but I can't afford to keep breaking them. This charger does not let down in quality of the braiding, however, it does not fit snugly into my phone like I would prefer.It fits on there enough to get it to charge, but I can still see part of the silver charging port when it's plugged into my phone and that makes me hesitant to give it any stars above "okay". They claim it fits a Galaxy S6 and I guess technically they aren't lying, but I am not satisfied with my purchase at all. I will not be buying another and I would never recommend anyone to buy this cord. |

Way too big! Even bigger than the iPhone 6s PLUS!!! It's size makes it rather inconvenient as it can't fit in anything. The camera has surprisingly low quality, considering the Polaroid brand is commonly a camera manufacturer. I had the phone for about 4 months before I bumped it on a corner and the whole screen became pixelated. From then on, the screen had all these little lines across it that wouldn't disappear. I had the phone for a total of 7 months before I dropped it on the sidewalk and the phone wouldn't even turn on again. I understand that phones do break - they can't last forever. But this phone is so large that it's hard to keep a hold of it, and the first incident definitely shouldn't have caused permanent internal screen damage. This phone is extremely brittle. | | Failed Working After About Two WeeksOctober 2, 2016 At first I love them. more than long enough, seemed to be made of strong material that could easily be wound up for travel, carrying in a small space. However, after about two weeks the first one would not make a secure contact and it failed entirely. While hope spring eternal, the second cable had the same problems and failed about three weeks later. Net, both failed and ended up in the trash in less than five weeks. I had hoped that the metal braiding would make the more durable than coiled rubber but hope and reality, unfortunately, were not the same. Expensive and poorly made. Both are in the trash now, not worth the hassle oh bothering to send them back. If they sound too good, maybe they are!!! Given the number of positive reviews, it is likely that this was a defective cable, or perhaps damaged, all though I could see no signs of damage. A while ago the micro-usb plug on another of my Samsung Galaxy tablet whent bad. Samsung fixed it on warranty and included a warning to only use their cable since some cables can damage the plug. I certainly don't believe that theirs is the only cable that can be used with their tablet, but it did sensitize me to the fact that micro-usb plugs can be damage (the degradation of the micro-usb plug on the tablet, was progressive over several months.)
