I was skeptical but SO glad I gave these a shot
March 24, 2017
Basically worth their weight in gold. I was skeptical but SO glad I gave these a shot!They're comfortable to wear and didn't leave either my head OR the insides of my ear canals aching/uncomfortable (like every other earplug I've ever tried has.) Just make sure they're in your ears properly and you should be able to last the whole night with them. I fell asleep with them and woke with them still there, still working, still comfortable. They are my new friends. I sob and hug them with feels. Thank you, these earplugs. Thank you. ;3;

I don't think I'll ever finish it. Maybe sharing with someone else. I don't like to dispose and one pair is definitely good for at least a week.I do get better sleep quality since where I live I can hear the buses and trucks on the nearby road until 2am.One time after using it the first time after month, I get slight side headache the second day. But I'm not sure if it's from the ear plugsAlso nice they tend to slid out before the morning and I can hear my alarm better or wake up naturally with the birds chirping. But then I spend time looking for them on the same color white bed sheet....

June 23, 2016
If you read the instructions and roll them up like a little burrito and put them in your ears and let them expand back, then they work pretty well. I have small ear canals so I wasn't too sure about these but they did help me block out noise to study and to sleep. I reuse them a couple of times before I throw them away but this tub will last a long time. How to solve a problem like Mr Meowington
April 25, 2016
Take 2 sleep deprived adults with their own snoring issues..add in one very spoiled, very vocal 5 month old cat and you have a problem. Mr Meowington likes his breakfast served immediately at break of dawn. Oh I was warned do not feed the cat early in the morning..you will create a monster. However when you are woken up by a new baby kitten meowing ever so softly in your face because he is hungry..you oblige (right?)...months later the kitten grew..the meow got louder and now its like a fog horn of cat breath right to the face. Lesson learned. Now i search google and answer after answer says two sleep deprived adults MUST ignore the cat calls to retrain him to eat at a normal hour. Thank goodness for these earplugs! They have done their job! I passed them out to other family members too just in case the meows were loud enough to penetrate walls (oh yes they were!..should have shared them with the neighbors)..King of the castle was not happy about a delayed breakfast and he let the world know it. The earplugs muffled the sound enough that it was not irritating, and let me tell ya this cat is persistent! I also used a white noise sound machine. Two days later Cat breakfast is now served at 9am...side benefits..blocked out the husbands snoring, sleep talking and occasional screams from falling off a cliff (sleep issues) AND I did not hear the garbage truck at 6am in the morning. They don't block out noise completely, you can still hear an alarm but they muffle noise enough that it is not annoying. They are soft and spongey so when you put them in they will expand slightly to fit your ear. Hope this helps!
Magical Silence! Sound Sensitivities no longer overwhelming w/ Flents
April 13, 2016
I have strong sensitivities to sound. The tv on 2 rooms away with all the doors closed used to leave me in tears. I have ordered all different types of earplugs, and by far these are the best. I immediately threw out all my other earplugs i'd been experimenting with in my quest to find the best ones. I keep these in a mini ziploc in my purse for when i wait in line or am in a waiting room and cannot physically remove myself from the sound polution. Even in the "quiet" of my home, i still hear the lights buzzing, the computer's fan, the tv buzzing, the cats cleaning their fur, and the dog breathing. But with these Flents in my ears, it all goes quiet, and i can only hear my own breathing. #heavenly. When someone is talking to me and i have them in = i can still hear them, but their sound level is no longer overwhelming; and far enough away and i can't hear them at all haha. It makes being in public and noise pollution bearable when it normally is nails on a chalkboard to me. I no longer care if the person next to me in line is on their phone droning on and on in a vapid conversation, or the person in the waiting room is picking at their nails. Magical silence.Best way to use is to roll/squish it, use opposite hand to pull your ear up, and (using hand from same side of body as ear) shove it in. Have to be quick and get it in before it unrolls, or try again. Now it'll fit for optimal sound blockage. If your hands are dirty when you roll/squish them, they can start to look gross--so how long that takes is up to you really. I can wear the same ones for weeks, or use a new one every day. That's what's nice about them not being expensive. After a few uses, they roll and unroll quicker, but are still magical. The search is over!
Everyone should use these
September 26, 2014
I've been using Flents plugs for decades. The best. Most often I cut them in half and use the short plug right in my ear hole. Still good noise reduction and a lot more comfortable and convenient and less obvious. For concerts or loud music, you can still hear enough to enjoy it while not risking hearing damage. It's even possible to sleep with them in, where the full-length plug would get painful after a while. I'm sensitive to loud noises anyway (or maybe loud noises just bug me a lot) so I always carry a pair with me. It's a good way to protect your hearing down the road if you use them all the time.

Perfect for my needs
May 9, 2017
These don't block out ALL noise, but that's exactly why I bought them! I need help drowning out some snoring and cat shenanigans throughout the night, but I still need to wake up to my alarm in the morning. These do the trick for me!
Can finally sleep!
February 21, 2017
I have tried every brand and type of earplug and this is hands-down the best. My husband uses a CPAP machine which sounds like Darth Vadar, and this blocks out the sound enough so I can sleep (does not block it out completely, maybe 85%, but at least I can fall and stay asleep comfortably). Soft and expands well. Sometimes I have to move it around a bit to get the best seal but it works. Other brands sometimes exert too much pressure on my ear canal and I wake up with some pain, but this molds well. Mack's is the best brand in my opinion. Sometimes the phone will ring and I won't even hear it (which suits me just fine as I value my sleep!)
The only ear plug that doesn't hurt my ears.
December 9, 2016
I have worn many ear plugs in my life but these are the only ear plugs (& I've tried many brands) that do not hurt my ears. Definitely would recommend. I have to use a sleep aid though and Lunexa – All Natural Daily Sleep Formula for Deep Relaxing Sleep and Stress Relief works for me. I drift off to sleep easily and don’t have any nightmares as with other products. WIll continue to use these.
Effective and Economical
September 17, 2016
I've always liked earplugs for flying on planes. It takes that whiny edge off the engine noise. But since purchasing this product, I've also started using them for doing yard work with the weed whacker, lawn mower, and snowblower. I was surprised at how much it increases my comfort during these activities. It totally takes off the shrill and uncomfortable loudness. Ordering them from amazon makes it economical enough that I can use them more often. They fit great and I can usually wash them off and use them two times before I throw them out.
Foam earplugs
March 23, 2016
These seem great for what they are. They're soft and I haven't run out in the few weeks I've been using them for sleep, even though I've lost a few pairs. I've used a few other similar earplugs in the past, I don't remember what brand, and these seem comparable.I use these for sleeping at home in a house that's already fairly quiet. Foam earplugs of this type don't block out everything, but they do help with a lot of things. I can still hear the family dogs bark through them, but it's not as loud. I can't hear people talking as much, I don't think. (It's a bit hard to say what they do block out since I only notice when they don't block things out :) ) I can't hear the family TV which I used to be able to.If I use them a lot my ear canal starts to feel a bit too pushed open all the time or something, it's not comfortable. That's something that happens with all earplugs of this type I've used in the past, too, though, so not a reflection on this product in particular. It's never been more than slight discomfort for me after using all night for a few nights in a row. Thanks for a useful product! I sleep and work better in my somewhat noisy home now.
Comfortable for 3-4 hours
March 13, 2016
As a graduate student with two kids under age 3 I was in desperate need of a cheap way to block out all their noises so I could get some studying done. These have done it, and they do it tremendously well. You simply roll them between your fingers and insert into ear canal and let them expand. I have medium sized ear canals and these provide a great seal without much discomfort. My wife hates when I wear them though because I can't hear her when she's yelling at me (take that as you will). All in all, a great purchase if you're looking for some serious noise reduction.

These are good ear plugs
August 2, 2016
These are good ear plugs, easy to insert and very effective in protecting hearing if inserted properly. The flesh color blends in with the ear, unlike red or green plugs. I've used them for years and will continue to use them. Although intended for one time use, I've used them repeatedly for light duty use, and have sometimes washed them for reuse, but

March 17, 2016
They block out almost all sound, which is great but unfortunately that means they block out the sound of my alarm as well. Also, they're a little big for me and so I have to cut them down or else they hurt my ears. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and I can sleep in them just fine!
Tried and true ear plugs!
January 1, 2016
I'm on my 3rd box of these things and I love them! I use 1 pair for 3-4 days before throwing them away and getting a new pair. You can tell when you need a new pair, because they don't expand fully after a few uses.I use them mainly to block out my boyfriends snoring, which being a light sleeper, will keep me awake. I've found that if I do not put these until he starts snoring, I can still hear him, but not loud enough that I can't fall back asleep. However, if I remember to put them in when I go to sleep, his snoring does not wake me at all during the night.I have small ear canals, so I was very leery about trying these as they seem rather big compared the cone shaped alternatives. Thankfully, I am able to roll them down small enough to prevent having any pain or discomfort during the night or after long term use.Overall, these are the best ear plugs I've tried and they do what I bought them for! I highly recommend to anyone who needs to block out their lover's snore. ;)
Asleep at last..
December 11, 2015
Best ear plugs I've ever used. I have misophonia and it can be incredibly hard to get to sleep when my roommates are talking or watching movies downstairs (the sound of murmurs/bass through the floor absolutely drives me crazy) With these in, I can forget that I even live with other people and sleep soundly. The only thing that bothers me is that they can be kind of uncomfortable. I'm a side sleeper so my ear on my pillow can get a little sore after wearing these. Trying to get them in my ears at the proper angle can take some time but once I get them adjusted properly, I sometimes forget I'm wearing them.
Excellent product that can be difficult to get at the store
October 7, 2014
I would make this 5-stars if the manufacturer would make sure I always got them when they hadn't started the drying out process. There's degrees of dry-ness and eventually these are too dry to use. Sometimes I get a box that feels like it's just off the assembly line; other times they're not so new. These are the best ear plugs I've tried. I have tiny canals and these can be squeezed into a thin line for insertion. When they expand, they stay put. I live in a condo and it successfully blocks out the overhead walking and floor squeaking, the next door neighbor's music and the sound of traffic. The sound of my alarm still gets through.
I use them everynight.
February 16, 2012
I love these earplugs. I use them when I sleep. They are easy to insert and work very well. They are not pointed (or rather slightly rounded) on one end, but flat on both, which makes them highly desirable for me because they are easier to insert. The container is quite a bit smaller than it looks. It is maybe 2-3 inches high. But 50 pairs of earplugs fit fine in there. They didn't come exploding out or anything. The two complaints I have are:-They do not last long. You can insert them two or three times before they loose their noise reduction. This is a problem if I wear them while studying, and take them out during a study break or two.-The plastic coating on one side hurts my ears. I have to feel which side has the plastic coating, and insert the opposite side into my ear, or else it hurts. It's not unusual to find with these style earplugs, but these are the worse than the yellow colored competition. For the price, these are great. I can deal with the negatives without much hassle. With 50 pairs, I've had them for 5 months and haven't even started thinking about running out. And since the earplugs which are flat on both ends are pretty hard to find, especially in bulk, I am pretty sure I will be happily reordering when I do eventually run out.

Allows me to sleep with snoring spouse!
September 27, 2017
These are a staple item for me. My husband snores and if I don't have my ear plugs, we have to sleep in separate rooms. I've tried many different types/brands of ear plugs over the years and these seems to work best.I just wish they had just a LITTLE bit more noise reduction - but I find that with every single type of ear plug. I guess you have to be able to hear SOMETHING, but in my ideal world I'd have ear plugs that shut sound out completely.
Run Small But Work Fine
May 5, 2017
These work fairly well, but I have to wear them backwards because they're smaller than expected. I wear them in bed, while doing lawn work, and while riding my motorcycle. If I insert them "properly" they don't form a good seal at all. Thus, I insert them blunt-end-first. Otherwise, no complaints. They do what I ask, and they came at a good price in a convenient container.

April 2, 2017
These ear plugs are pretty good, they aren't the most comfortable in the world, which is why they didn't get five stars, but they do the job all right. I use ear plugs nightly. They still allow for some ambient noise, but cancel out about 85% of noise. My cat loves to play with them when I leave them out, so they often go missing - glad there are 50!
comfortable
March 28, 2017
comfortable and effective at reducing some noise. i wouldn't rely on these on a job site or concert, but they are ok at reducing some noise on an airplane. for example, a nearby crying baby becomes a little bit more bearable. sometimes they would come out though.
I sleep next to a freight train! AND I have an actual train with tracks 50' from my pillow.
January 19, 2017
This could seriously have ended in divorce, but I thought I'd try ear plugs first. I have had to sleep with a fan on at night for decades, and it was an adjustment to not have that white noise in the background, but you do still hear it muffled with earplugs.I have terrible ear tubes, scarring for infections as a kid, and I knew earplugs would be uncomfortable.Flents were my first try... OWWIE! They are too square, the edges aren't rounded, and they just hurt. But they DID keep the noise out enough to sleep better in between waking up to the pain. Two weeks later, the pain wasn't worth it.Next I tried Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs, the tan ones. Great fit on the right side, SOOOO much softer than Flents. But my left ear was in pain, so I tried Mack's purple SafeSound Slim fit earplugs.... aaahhhhhh, much better. Then I saw Mack's PINK Dreamgirl soft foam earplugs.... I've never been a girly girl, pink just isn't my color. I heard everything! They didn't work at all.So ideally, I have purple on the left, tan on the right and I don't hear either freight train (for the most part)! And I don't use the fan at night anymore!
While these don't drown out the universe like I hoped
November 11, 2016
While these don't drown out the universe like I hoped, they do work well. I went from not being able to sleep to actually sleeping, every night, so that's a job-well-done, in my opinion! I live in an insanely-noisy apartment (the "king kong lives upstairs" kind), where falling and staying asleep can feel like painting the Mona Lisa blindfolded. They also last MUCH longer than 1 pair/night. I'm sure they wouldn't like me writing that but, given you have good personal hygiene, one bottle can last you awhile.

Not too happy
June 26, 2017
I live in College and these were OK i guess, I mean noise from my awful suitmates was hushed but It wasn't enough to help me get the silence I needed. Probably good for someone who snores or any light sounds like cars, airplanes and casual situations that would bother you but not that great for Screaming and other Loud Noises. Also I have small ears and shift in my sleep and these give me problems with staying in.
I found that these ear plugs fit nice and snug
April 28, 2017
I wanted these ear plugs to block out the noise I was hearing each morning. I found that these ear plugs fit nice and snug, but they don't block out that much noise in general. If you were to wear these to a concert they'd be perfect. But when I wear them for noise cancellation, I find that I have to put a pillow over my ear to block out everything

May 28, 2016
I use these not only for range use, but also when I get migraines. I prefer these for migraines sometimes when around people because it attracts less attention then the colored ear plugs. They don't quite do as good a job of blocking sound as a lot of other offerings out there, so be prepared for a little more sound getting in than usual. But for recreational use, they're fine. Recommended for most folks.
Uncomfortable for long use
September 6, 2014
I bought these ear plugs to help me sleep through the night after bringing home our first baby. I was a little disappointed in the fact they aren't comfortable enough to wear for the duration of a 6-8 sleeping session. I would wake up with aching and itching ear canals after just 2-3 hours and have to remove them. I read, unfortunately AFTER purchase, that these expanding foam type ear plugs can put pressure on your very sensitive ear canals and cause discomfort with prolonged use. From what I hear, the screw type ones are much better suited for long use.
Excellent for noise reduction - not comfortable for sleeping
June 6, 2014
It will cut off the sound, but you will hear your own breathing and any scratches as your head rubs on a pillow. This product is great if you want to use it to reduce sound in a concert or outside noise, but not good if you want something to sleep in. Not great for people with small ears also. If your ear is sensitive to pain, then this is not the product since the pressure of the item once inserted does create some minor discomforts if you try to lay on it.
Foam Ear Plugs
November 10, 2011
They're not quite as great as the other reviewers made this product seem. I mean, they block out most noise. The world will get quieter if you put these in. But they weren't enough to block out the muted bass of my neighbor's speakers, which is what I had bought them for. Perhaps they're just not good at blocking low noises, I don't know. I only intended to use them at night, since I can't sleep with, well, almost any noise present. In the end, I've only used a handful of pairs since purchasing, and they're more of a tacky ornament at my bedside now.For day use, they're probably much better. If you're not super sensitive, they're probably much better. They just didn't work for me.Oh, and definitely wet your ear canal down before attempting to insert these. The plugs are big and the sides are very rough, so going without water is just asking to hurt yourself.

Too big for my ears
August 2, 2017
Keeps a good amount of sound out. Previously I purchased the purple ones this brand sells and I don't noticed much of a noise reducing difference to be honest. My main reason for 3 stars is because they are just okay. They're too big for my ears and will usually fall out by the time I wake up which is fine because I only need them when I'm falling asleep. I think if they were less thick and bulky then the noise reduction would be better.
Great for blending in, not great for sleep
March 13, 2017
These small tan earplugs are great for wearing in public (concerts, etc), as they're hard to spot if they match your skin tone. Unfortunately I wear them mostly for sleeping, and I've found that, while they fit in my ear fine, they come out easily with even a little bit of twisting and turning. I'll keep them as a backup, but I'll continue to use Hearos for daily use.
Works great but not the right product for me
March 6, 2017
They do well for blocking out sound. I used to use the snore blockers but was running out. I wanted to get something cheaper and had more in it. These ones don't fit me as good as the snore blockers and they actually hurt to put in my ears. I've tried many ways to fit them. Even though they hurt a little to wear they still helped a great bit. I live next to a police station and when the sirens go off it gets extremely loud. Having to be up at 2am and 4am for work most days these definitely helped me get some much needed sleep..
New Formula Is Not For Me
November 29, 2016
I have been buying these earplugs for a couple of years now and they "WERE" the absolute best, UNTIL the last order. Now they are soft and spongy and will not collapse down like they used to. Compare the old ones which were like "memory foam" to the new ones which are like "foam rubber". My other jars of these were completely different. They were a little smaller and had a pinkish tint and were easily rolled thin for insertion. They had the words "Extreme Comfort" printed in the upper right hand corner. The new ones are larger, they will not roll down thin, and they are porous like foam rubber. In the top right hand corner are the words "Comfy Cush". The new ones by comparison are bad. This brand was my favorite, but now, anything but these, are better. If I have somehow made a mistake in ordering, I will gladly trade these in and amend this review accordingly.
Average. Do not block 100% of the noise and it is hard to use.
September 15, 2016
Bought it to use at work to stop all the noise and concentrate more at my work since I work with translations a lot and it requires a lot of concentration. It is definitely a good quantity to have considering that you dont use them many time for hygiene reason. Overall I like it the only thing is that I dont like the fact that I have to squeeze it to fit it perfectly in my ears and if someone comes to talk to me and I have to take them off then I have to do everything again, squeeze it, make it fit in the right position. I got to the point where I do not really use it anymore because it is a lot of work to try to fit it back in every time I have to take them out to talk to someone. I wish it was more practical but I guess if you are using it at a place where people do not really bother you you should be okay. It blocks most of the noise when used properly, you have to squeeze it into a skinny long line and then pull your ear out and fit it just right but it does not block 100% of the noise. I can still hear the music playing at my work, a lot lower but I can.
Falls out easily and doesn't drown out all noise
December 31, 2015
Merely okay. I usually purchase a different brand but thought i would try to save a few bucks by trying these. Pretty disappointed - first, they don't stay in your ears very well and constantly fall out, despite following the directions. I use these at night to drown out my husband's snoring, and I can still hear him - not quite as loud as it would be without earplugs, but still, I hear him pretty clearlyIf you're looking for something that will really drown out the noise, these probably won't work for you.

what the heck is in my ear?.......
October 19, 2017
Material is really strange? Hoping the stiffness of plug is correlated to some environmental benefit other than reduction of noise pollution;) Made the mistake of purchasing because of the 5 star reviews but without a doubt, these are the most uncomfortable ear plugs on the planet. I prefer Hearos, avoid the dyed plugs will leave color residue behind, but super soft:) Gave two stars because they do actual work the Flents, even if it feels like your stuffing your ears with s strange synthetic styrofoam?
Irritating
September 1, 2016
I had an apartment in the center of a busy city street and needed something to block or the beeping. These ear plugs block out some fraction of the noise but definitely not enough. They also fall out in middle of using them, especially if you use them at night while you sleep. They are kind of uncomfortable to wear, they are scratchy and irritating. I wouldn't recommend them
Loses original shape quickly, requiring frequent replacing
January 14, 2016
The quality of these ear plugs has disappointed me. I can only wear these ear plugs once or twice before they lose their shape and I have to replace them with a new pair. This has led me to using a new pair almost everyday, whereas I've previously been able to wear pairs of ear plugs for a few days at a time. I will finish this box, then return to using the grocery store-brand ear plugs that worked for me previously.
Do not hold their shape
January 6, 2016
I like the shape of these ear plugs more than others—they don't stick out and rub against the pillow—and I've been buying them for many years. They used to be reusable for several wearings with no change in effectiveness. In the last couple years, I've noticed that they lose their shape after the first use. I use ear plugs in loud stores and often leave them in for a short time. Even if I use them for only 10 minutes, the next time I put them in, they no longer fit as snugly as the first time. It is so wasteful to toss a pair after only a few minutes. I will stop purchasing these as soon as I find a satisfactory replacement.
uncomfy
September 11, 2015
ear plugs are really short, very hard. Need to really work them to get them soft enough and small enough to useand then they are very uncomfortable - maybe they are made for people who have larger ear canal openings, it seemsthey areUnfortunately, I could not return them as it was past the 30 days when I used up the last of the different onesI had, which I have gone back to.Cannot recommend
... the quality of these plugs is nowhere near as good as they were several years ago
November 15, 2014
I agree with some of the other reviews noting that the quality of these plugs is nowhere near as good as they were several years ago. Those Flents were ones that I could re-use each pair for over a week (hey, I like to save money!) as they kept their shape very well. This batch can barely hold the shape well enough to stay in my ear during the course of the night, so I've learned to keep a spare set on the bedside table, that way I don't have to go searching under the sheets for the lost pair at 3am.But for the value, you're still much better off buying this large box than fewer pairs at the grocery store more often.

They are not the greatest. They do drown out noise but not nearly as good as others I have had. I can still hear my ceiling fan if that helps any. They also fall out pretty easily.
Meh.
June 17, 2017
Definitely not 32 decibels worth of sound blocking. They get one star for comfort, and one star because they do block a little sound. Minus two stars for being so thin that it blocks such little sound it doesnt make much difference, and minus another because now I paid for and have this huge jar of earplugs I almost never use.Good I guess if you need to block out a very soft background noise, and dont need to concentrate. They are also very comfortable to sleep in, however I only fell asleep in them since everything still sounded normal, and I forgot they were in...
Ineffective
March 20, 2017
Despite following the instructions, these did very little to block noise while I slept. I suffer from insomnia and am a light sleeper. The ear plugs are too large once they expand inside the ear canal, and I feel like they leave a gap or aren't sealing correctly so noise gets through. I'm a petite woman with small ears. I used these for a few nights to block any household noises or the dog's snoring, but they weren't helpful. I could still hear almost everything. If these are rated for 32 decibels, then they should prevent some noise. This was not my experience. Into the trash they go.
Only Blocks light Noises
August 18, 2016
These are pretty comfortable. However, the strength of them is not good at all. I can still hear the TV from the living room when I'm in my room trying to sleep. They only block out very subtle sounds.

I have problems trying to sleep because I can hear EVERYTHING. Bought this after trying a couple of foam earplugs from another company on a trip. But unfortunately, these earplugs do not fit my ears properly, and they do not stay on place not even for 30 seconds. Waste of money.
Didn't work for me!
December 29, 2014
I had high expectations of these earplugs, based on the multiple positive reviews. My hopes were dashed however, starting when I first opened them and took them out. They seemed much squishier than others I've used, like the CVS brand which look identical except that they're greenish. The earplugs were too soft, and most importantly, did not block nearly as much sound as just about any other brand I used. The CVS brand and other brands I've used are firmer, while still remaining comfortable, and did a better job muffling background sound. I wish I could send them back, but the cost I would incur doing so would pretty much equal the price I paid for them. Wah.

Didn't really stay in my ears or block out the sound.
Anyone giving these earplugs a good review have clearly never tried the Macks ear plug ...

Anyone giving these earplugs a good review have clearly never tried the Macks ear plug brands. These are awful. The material is weird and cheap. You can't use them more than one night in a row, and mine have fallen out in the middle of the night multiple times. They're also a weird shape when you roll them up to put them in your ear. That being said, they block out the noise a decent amount but they're just cheaply made and bad. I can't wait to use them all up so I can go back to the Macks brand I was using.
Hard to insert and inefficient
April 5, 2016
I don't get it why most rate this highly. Not only that they aren't doing a good job at keeping noise out but can only use a set once or twice before they become soft like a wet paper towel and can't insert them in your ear canals. Instead of getting aggravated each time I use them, I simply discarded the entire container.
I don't understand where all these great reviews are coming from

I don't understand where all these great reviews are coming from, because this ear plug doesn't work at all. I can still hear everything, and I even made sure to put the ear plug in correctly. Will be returning this item ASAP.
a waste of $$

I was influenced by all the great reviews to order these and boy was I disappointed! I dont know, maybe they are just too big for my ears, but they didnt block out much sound at all! I've used better ones in the past. Shipping was super fast, but the product itself was a waste of $$ I had to order different ones, again :(
Stiff and Course Ear Plugs
June 6, 2014
These used to be good before Flents changed their formula. I had read recent Amazon reviews saying they had reverted to the older more comfortable formula, apparently not - these ear plugs are stiff with a course texture. Until recently, one could find the smooth and relatively soft barrel shape ear plug that Flents used to make under the CVS brand. Unfortunately, CVS no longer offer these either.

They fall out of your ear, so who knows if they work!
Buyer beware: the design has changed (for the worse)
November 30, 2016
I ordered these a year ago in October 2015 and they were the best earplugs I've ever used. I ran out October 2016 and placed an order for more and the newer earplugs are some of the worst I have used. The good ones (pictured left) are noticeably shorter and fatter and appear to have a smooth glossy finish. The bad ones (pictured right) are taller and thinner. They are skinny and do not do a good job of creating a seal. The noise they block out is significantly less than the old design likely due to the bad seal and more porous foam used.Buyer Beware, many of the 5-star reviews are for the old design. If anyone finds earplugs that are similar to the old design, please let me know!
Useless
September 14, 2016
These used to be great earplugs. Not too long ago, they were short and stout. Now, however, they are long and thin, thus blocking out practically no noise when inserted in the year. I can even hear the noise from the friction between my fingers when I rub them together a foot away from my ear. Completely useless. The same thing happened to another product which was my original favorite. This is very disappointing and I can't understand why they would do this. Amazon, however, issued me a full refund immediately which I am very grateful for.
Different than before!

UPDATE: I was able to exchange these and got the smaller ones (as shown in the picture from my earlier review), which was great. Just reordered and got the bigger ones again. They have definitely changed their product without saying anything. These are not better. They don't stay in my ears at all, or block any sound. On to new earplugs due to product change...AGAIN.I just requested an exchange because either the package I received is defective or Macks has changed this product. The new container I received has ear plugs that are a slightly different color and that are bigger than the last 2 containers. Concerned because these had been working perfectly and the new ones don't stay in my ears at all and don't block any sound whatsoever. If the new package is the same as what I got most recently, I'll be shopping for new ear plugs again.
They do not stay in your ear

I use these to sleep. They constantly pop out of my ear while I'm sleeping. I prefer the Hearos Ultimate Softness much better.
