The size of these make it really easy to store in any nook and cranny in your freezer. The box and stones both look high-quality and really do the job they are designed to do. | Fell Short of my ExpectationsMay 26, 2017 These were given to me as a gift for Xmas 2016.The stones are one of those things I thought I wanted, but have been disappointed with since I received them. First, they do work. The drink is colder with them than without. But, that's the only positive for me. My negatives:1) The cold is short lived. It seems like they warm up much faster than ice.2) They don't stir. If you are drinking whiskey, not an issue. But you can't easily mix a rum and Coke using them. A big issue for me.3) They don't float. OK, my fault, I should have know this as they are stones.4) Less attractive than ice in a drink. The look of the drink is part of it. Even in a glass of whiskey, the look is wrong.The package looks nice, another plus, but for me, just not that useful. Sadly, 3 stones will not chill my expensive scotch and I do not like looking at these little grey things sitting at the bottom of my glass. The stones do not chill well at all. Husband very disappointed, tried them 2 times after adequate time in freezer. Will be returning. Completely uselessJuly 9, 2016 Awful. They don't chill liquid at all, at least nothing more than barely over a shot. I suppose if I kept a glass and the whiskey or any other liquid in the fridge then that would help but that defeats the entire purpose of these things. That being said they heat up quite well though I'm not sure what good that will do me. I'd return them but tossed the packaging. | |
