Five Star Reviews: | 41% Great Washer and Dryer August 14, 2017 I've been using this for about a month and so far, it is great! The drums on both the washer and dryer are quite large. There are enough selections on both the washer and dryer to satisfy me. The agitator makes a weird noise but a friend was in and told me hers made the same noise, so nothing to worry about. The noise level overall is nothing to be concerned about and if the doors on the closet are closed, you can hardly hear anything. I would recommend this set to anyone. Very happy so far September 20, 2016 A little bigger than I expected, but the footprint is perfect. Does all the laundry in a single physician medical office quickly and efficiently. Need a 225V hookup, but all of this was known from the specs up front. Couple this with an indoor dryer lint filter and voila! Still working! June 4, 2016 I've been using this product for a while now. No issues so far. Great value! We decided to go with a stacked unit to make ... April 14, 2016 We decided to go with a stacked unit to make space for a sink. This unit works very well for us. It's the right size for a couple with a baby. Perfect for small spaces! We love it! January 25, 2016 This washet/dryer is working very well in our situation! The washer takes a large load as does the dryer though we're careful not to overload. Five Stars August 9, 2015 My wife and I really love this washer/dryer combo and it really saves on space as well. | 90% Good Value March 24, 2017 First, this item is an all plastic or nylon faucet. However it looks great and works like a charm. Installation was easy and there are no leaks. I am pleased with this faucet and would recommend it to others. Perfect for garage tub sink. April 9, 2015 Very nice sink for the price. Even includes an adapter for a garden hose. This is perfect for my garage tub sink. Easy instillation. Only took a few minutes March 26, 2015 Using it outside on a utility tube. Works well. Easy instillation. Only took a few minutes. Holding up great and very sturdy March 4, 2015 Worked perfectly for our garage sink! Holding up great and very sturdy. Inexpensive, but one quirk... May 23, 2014 We ordered this faucet to replace our current leaking one. Installation was very quick, maybe 15 minutes at the most. The only quirky thing about this faucet is the labeling of the water knobs. Cold is on the left, hot is on the right (as you face the faucet). Normally hot is left, cold is right. So, the knobs are labeled wrong for our water set-up.Other than that, it's a fine inexpensive faucet for the laundry tub. No drips, no leaks, and water comes out when I turn a knob! |

I was recently asked if it made large ... June 27, 2016 I have had this since February and so far it is fine. I was recently asked if it made large noises during spin and I had to wait until I could answer this question. I do not notice a large noise during the spin cycle. So far, so good. | 7% |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% NOT COOL, GE June 26, 2016 Warning: This product comes WITHOUT the required GE Universal Power Cord Kit, which costs $40,00USD. NOT COOL, GE! | 3% There are no reviews yet |
Two Star Reviews: | 11% The washer constantly goes off balance and bangs around like crazy and yes I know how to evenly distribute ... July 15, 2017 I've had this unit for three years. I use it about once a week for one load. The washer constantly goes off balance and bangs around like crazy and yes I know how to evenly distribute the clothes and no it isn't too big of a load. It's also pretty loud under normal operation. Sometimes there will be a random small puddle of water in front of the machine as well. The dryer when new put black marks on my clothes and they get stuck between the dryer drum and the case. The dryer is now making a scraping noise while running. When this unit dies which I expect won't take very long I will not be getting another GE. but he doesn't ever recommend doing it February 11, 2017 The washing machine has become VERY LOUD during the spin cycle. The appliance repair man told me that the seal at the bottom of the washer tub starts leaking after two or three years, and the bearing under it becomes rusted. This is a common fault, and he says it will fail completely very soon. He said it costs $650 to fix, but he doesn't ever recommend doing it. A seal in such a critical location shouldn't fail so easily. A very poor design. Now I'm off to the appliance store to buy a different unit.. Deficient Product January 2, 2016 I have the 270 model from GE. Two major problems. First, in the first few months of operation it left indelible grease marks on my sheets. Second, the dryer is underpowered. If you put in even half a load, it will not dry effectively. Overall, a disappointment. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
One Star Reviews: | 37% GE makes crappy machines! September 18, 2017 if I could give it a negative star I would. GE made out really good on my deal. A brand new unit that is the older model of this identical machine cost me $1200 to purchase. It was in service for a year then $300 repair bill came since it had just ran out of one year warrantee. Less than a year later, my repair guy, with a service call, old me the entire thing is gone and needs new transmissions, motors, bearings, for the entire machine and was going to cost $850. He suggested to scrap it since it'll never be "fixed". He said of all the washer/dryer units he fixed. This one is by far the worst machine since most parts behind the cover are made with plastic. He suggested for me to talk to GE and see if they can do anything. It was in service for less than 2 years! After lengthy discussions and back and forth with GE escalation department (about one months of chasing them). They best they can do is to offer discounted parts or THIS unit which replaced the unit I had. To spend another $850 to repair it or to get equally as expensive replacement. Either way, I'm not happy since I just spent $1650 for a machine that worked for less than 2 years and now will have to buy a new machine again! They should had offered a new I'll review again after my experience with the new one but I'll say I'm not confident that it'll last me that long. Beware! January 29, 2017 This is the LOUDEST washer/dryer I've ever had! It's ridiculous Sounds like a construction zone Horrible Machine and customer relations service January 26, 2017 A NIGHTMARE with GE!! Stackable Model # GUD27ESSJWWThe "one star" was given because a value for overall rating was mandatory. If I had a choice, the overall rating would be -5 stars.DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE EVEN IF GE PAID YOU!! The 1st new unit was installed on 12/17/16 and had increasing problems. First problem: washer spin cycle was so loud it sounded like the rotors of a helicopter on full throttle. Second problem: machine stops mid-cycle during the spin cycle. Third problem: spin cycle would not stop and kept going for another 20 minutes and had to be stopped manually. Called GE about the problems. Was told that we would receive a call from their service person to schedule service. Never received a call back from anyone. When service was finally scheduled, it was at least a week later and after multiple requests by the dealer. Serviceman diagnosed it as a transmission problem. Since it was a new machine, we requested GE exchange the broken machine for a new one. Request was denied. Reason? They said the machine was under warranty. But who in their right mind would want to keep a new machine that comes broken?!! Spoke to Terry at GE Customer Relations Dept. who said there is no way we could proof that the machine came off the delivery truck broken. What is she insinuating...that we broke the machine on purpose because we want to sit on the phone waiting for over half an hour to speak with someone? After weeks, the dealer was finally able to exchange the broken machine for a new one. The second new machine came today and was installed. Guess what! It is still broken. This time it is the dryer. During the dry cycle, when the drum is rotating, a rhythmic loud noise comes out of the side of the machine, like a hammer banging. We will be contacting GE AGAIN! What happened to quality control? GE should compensate us for time spent waiting on the phone to speak to a GE rep, time away from work waiting for their service person, and frustration and angst from this entire experience. NOT happy with GE September 24, 2016 I would caution anyone buying this machine. I had purchased it 2013 and it RUINED all my white sheets with black tar marks. I stupidly believed they updated and corrected the problem and purchased a new one September 2015. I have since had 4 service calls to correct black marks. I own a vacation rental busioness and people were concerned if the sheets were clean. They finally replaced my machine with one less expensive and smaller. NOT happy with GE, I want my money back so I can buy a machine that works for me. I am attaching pictures, would you want to sleep on sheets that look like this? I have spent hundred's of dollars replacing sheets and pillow cases. The model we bought was a few years older (discontinued) but these GE all in one units are terrible: a repair person explained t May 22, 2016 Do NOT buy this product from GE. The model we bought was a few years older (discontinued) but these GE all in one units are terrible: a repair person explained to me that these used to be maid by Frigidaire for GE and they were fine, but when GE took over the manufacturing they are lemons. Our experience: 13 months after purchasing the product, every time we tried to wash clothes with warm or hot water, washer would freeze mid cycle and shut down and wouldn't reboot for a day. A repairman came and said the motherboard needed to be replaced (after 13 months?! Nice product GE), and they tried FOR SIX MONTHS to order it but couldn't get the part. We went on for another year just using cold water, and now you can't run water without a massive leak. Our repair person said while it could be a hose, it's likely a bearing issue which is so unfixable on these units he does't fix them any more, and it could also be the transmission which would be a 600 to 800 dollar part, plus labor.I would expect a GE washer dryer to go at least 3 years without any issues, but ours lasted 13 months. Stay away from GE, and from these all in one units especially. | 0% There are no reviews yet |
