This is the worst washer drier I have ever ownedJune 1, 2017
This is the worst washer drier I have ever owned. There is no cone in the middle of the washer so the clothes dont get washed properly. They just get wet. The most simple stains are still left on there after a wash. Then the drier isnt able to collect the lint so as soon as you open the door lint flies everywhere. The sound notifications dont work. There is no way to know how much time is left. Its just the WORST.
Giant waste of money and timeApril 3, 2017
This machine is great if you are looking for a washer that locks your clothing in and holds it hostage indefinitely. It's even better if you aren't expecting clean clothes once the machine finally releases them from captivity. That best thing I can say about this machine is that it did a fantastic job of returning my clothing to me unharmed, though still unclean, once the hostage situation was resolved.I was also excited to learn that I only need to pay twice to wash, not dry, my clothes as the dryer works(ish) and eventually dries a load in 90+ minutes.Overall, I would highly recommend this machine if you are looking to spend:$1000+ on a brand new machine that only half works (purchase date 2/15/17)+ Your hourly rate for the 2 hour repair window (plus travel time) for each service visit (going on 4!!)+ $2.50 a small load at the laundromat to wash cloths despite having just paid for a brand new machineThankfully as a single mom on a tight budget who works full time, leads a scout troop, and volunteers on the PTO I have loads of spare time and money to just throw away willy-nilly.Bonus: Frigidaire's customer service and technical support are just as amazing as the washer. Their "no machine left behind" philosophy is truly something to be admired...especially whilst spending hours at the laundromat with two young children.Steph
Broke after first wash and then the dryer broke after ...October 7, 2016
Broke after first wash and then the dryer broke after warranty had just ended. I was told by the repair person that the computer inside needed to be reset, but no guarantee it would work for very long. His recommendation was to buy additional warranty so when it did break again that it would be covered! I have a feeling that is what happened when the washer broke, but they didn't want to replace the computer so just reset and now when the warranty is over - we are stuck! Cheap, cheap, cheap - do not buy!
