Wow! Seems like Black + Decker did their homework into what consumers wanted in a Juicer. Great power, easy clean up, dishwasher safe, works with small and large sized fruit, reaches total fruit 'meat', large and clear juice container with measurements, no seeds get into the juice, pulp and no pulp settings, doesn't move, nice color, not a lot of pressure required, and easy storage. Good job!

I love this juicer! When I would use my old juicer, and I'd have to push on the orange halves to get all the juice out, the motor would stop and I'd have to leave some of the juice in the orange. With this juicer, if the motor was having to work to hard to juice the orange, and spinning would reverse directions, but never stop. I really liked this feature. It was also very easy to take apart and put together, and it was very easy to clean.

Love this juicer! I love fresh squeezed lemon juice and with the appliance it makes it so easy. Also juices everything. The lemon s are completely empty. Great price and works great!

Works very well. However it sounds like a freight train in the gear department. The cord is 27" long and I find it a bit short. It will not stretch far enough to have the juicer off the counter onto a slide out chopping board. I tried to get it apart to put some lubricant on the gears but it uses a very weird screw head and my bit driver head would not go down the hole under the foot pads. All in all it works fine. For a price under $15 it is good value if it lasts for a while. The strainer works well and the benefit I wanted was that it is able to hold plenty of juice without decanting till you are done juicing. I switched from a hand press unit to this one because I have a bumper crop of all types of citrus.After using this little work horse for some time now, I have to upgrade it to 5 stars. I have juiced a hundred or more oranges and it just keeps on trucking. I just sent one to my brother for his birthday. This thing is a winner.

I searched high and low for a simple, old-style citrus juicer. Living in Florida there is always an abundance of fresh citrus. If you go out and pick your own from one of the groves you will never be able to eat them all, so juicing them is perfect! This works so easily, stores the juice long enough for your family to drink it up. It disassembles for cleaning easily and is ready to go again. And you can't beat the price! Black and Decker quality.

I purchased this so that I could easily squeeze lemon juice while I'm doing the master cleanse/lemonade diet. I had one of these about seven years ago when I believe I gave it away just before moving. Don't know why I did that because here I am now buying another one. I really love how this works! It's a charm for getting all of the juice out of citrus fruit. There is no waist when you use this. I love that it comes with two sized "juice thingys" for very large citrus like grapefruit, regular sized oranges, or for the small lemons or limes. Plus it takes all of the manual and physical labor out of trying to juice citrus. You just put a little bit of pressure and it rotates and does the job for you. I won't give this one away, if I do I'll be ready to buy another one.

Works really well for juicing a few up to maybe one or 2 dozen limes or lemons. The bowl is really nice, easy to pour from and well marked. Two sizes of inserts make it easy to do different sizes of fruit quickly. I don't think this would handle really heavy-duty use. For the typical household doing a few fruits for drinks or food prep it's perfect.

Had a serious craving for some fresh squeezed OJ like my mom used to make me. I have used this about 3 times and it does the job. I think there are probably betters ones out there but I won't be replacing this one any time soon. There is a pulp filter with adjustable settings depending on how much filter you like. It got stuck really bad one day somehow so while I was trying to adjust it, the little dial broke right off. I can still get it to move without it but it was kind of a bummer.

We love our citrus fruits and freshly squeezed grapefruits, oranges and lemon for breakfast and snacks are the best accompaniment to food. I would have given it 5 stars if you didn't have to clean up after using it 3 times in the row since the seeds get trapped in the sides near the central hole and makes this weird annoying noise.

I have juiced on average 6 lemons and limes every day for nearly a year. The most at one time maybe 20. I like the feature of2 separate sizes of cones, one for bigger fruit such as grapefruit, but normally use the smaller one. The only problems I ever ran into werewhen I didn't clean it well enough with hot water after use. If you let the parts get sticky, it can cause problems. But since I learned that lesson,it has given trouble-free use, and that is all I can ask for. It was a good price as well, but all I care about is that it works every time I need it.****UPDATE 8/18/2017*****It started malfunctioning after a few months after my review, sounds like a gear is stripped. It isn't worth the hassle to box it upand send it back since I live far from a post office and it was only $16 in the first place.

I just received this juicer and have used it once. I really like that fact that it's electric and that I don't have to squeeze the lemons by hand - that is a big improvement. I do like the way the head turns first in one direction and then in the other. However, I can already see ways that the manufacturer could greatly improve this citrus juicer.1) Paint the measurements on the bottom container instead of having them clear like the container. They are almost unreadable now unless you have very sharp eyes. Why not paint on the measurements in red or white so that anyone can easily read them? Also, in addition to the ounces, also put the measurement in CUPS and 1/2 CUPS. Why make the consumer have to figure out how many cups of juice they have by dividing the ounces?? That's crazy. IF the manufacturer really cared about their customers, they would make it very easy for them to read the measurement.2) Quiet the motor a little. It is very loud and grinding and needs to be muffled a little.3) The pulp regulator button/slide should click in place. I find that as I'm holding a half lemon on the top squeezer, that even if I've opened the pulp regulator all the way, it slides itself closed, and vice versa. It should stay where you put it, so that you can depend on it supplying the amount of pulp you want. THESE ARE NOT DIFFICULT THINGS FOR THE MANUFACTURER TO IMPROVE. I realize that the citrus juicer is inexpensive, but I'd rather have a better citrus juicer and pay a couple dollars more, than have a cheaply made one that isn't reliable.

I was driving back from Orlando and picked up 8-lbs of oranges after drinking some OJ at a stand by a gas station, like you naturally do. I needed a juicing device and after going to target and comparing there selection to Amazon's option - this was a #1 seller and was only $5 than a manual juicer, so I ordered it in Target. This thing works just like it's supposed to - gets as much juice as you can out of each orange, and the screen can be adjusted to allow more or less pulp through. It's all plastic and dishwasher safe, and the best feature is that the cord wraps up neatly underneath so storing is easy.The reason for 4-star vs 5-stars? The container for your juice is a pitcher, with a nice handle, and you would think it would great for storage in your fridge. But you'll need a separate container if you don't want it spilling - just so close to being perfect and cheap!

Not the best juicer. It is ok if you don't make juice very often, but it gets easily stuck and make a grind noise when pushing down to juice. I just wanted a simple juicer after getting rid of my really upscale juicer, but this is very BASIC. Much easier and less mess to just use a hand juicer

This juicer lasted two months, but in all fairness, the seller (Spectrum Sales), REPLACED it under warranty with one which works well.They sent us a "Juiceman" brand, which is quieter, and we're very pleased with it.

I already own and Oster which I have had for probably 20 years. The Oster is still great but we needed to make the juice faster and for $15 it seemed like a no brainer to buy a second one. However this one is so noisy I would not have bought it if I had known. Otherwise it works fine.

Inexpensive citrus juicer, does its job (have only used it once). It is a bit noisy and would stop a few times when juicing. You get what you pay for.

it's very loud. I can't use it everyday because it will wake up my wife. I wish I would take more time to do my researches.

The cap to hold down the 1/2-cut citrus doesn't work, and the pulp-restrictor is really just eh -- keeps sliding open or shut, BUT, if you have a LOT of citrus to squeeze & don't mind holding the fruit, get it.I like the easy-pour container -- comes off the motor-base, and it all goes in the (top shelf) dishwasher. Another feature: when you stop pressing, and then press again, the motor reversed twist -- gets more out. There are two different sizes of caps to do small and large citrus.

Made enough noise to wake the dead. Stopped working before I finished the second half of the first orange. Sent it back and bought the Cuisinart, which is quiet and works great.

6/28/17 Update to my review. Sadly, After approximately 6 months of using the juicer. The juicer stopped working. I can hear something rattling in the motor area. I guess it isn't build well. I believe it was made in china. I did love this Citrus Juicer! I used it all the time to make fresh OJ, Grapefruit, Lemon & Lime Juice. And it was easy to use and clean. I don't think it can be returned or replaced.

Broke after 2 uses. The first use it kept stopping and reversing. The second use it just stoped 5 minutes into it. While it lasted it was great. But stopped working to fast. Through out out the box so I can't even return it :(

I think this is one of those "get what you pay for" things. It was cheap, yes. And it's not great. The pressure sensor that causes the juicer to spin when you press on it is very finicky and sticks and stops a lot. The first time we used it, it worked only intermittently. Pushing down on it does cause the motor to turn on, but it won't spin frequently. It takes a lot of tapping and repeated motions to get it to go sometimes.That being said, the rough texture of the cones gets a ton of juice out of the fruit.It's also hard to clean the base, which inevitably gets filthy because any juice or pulp that spills over gets into cracks on parts that cannot be submerged or washed easily.

I juice lemons every day, and this unit does that. It is very loud. The auto-reversing is hit-and-miss. The plastic is fairly cheap. The bowl is starting to cloud from exposure to the lemon juice. Easy to clean.Update 2/19: unit is failing to work. Sounds and feels as if gears are slipping. Manufacturer is offering a replacement.Update 6/2017: The replacement was much quieter for a few months, then became progressively noisy. Now I almost feel like I need to wear ear protection. I wish I could find a juicer that would last!

I was very happy when I found this product for such a great price. We used a similar one (different brand, different country) for years.But I guess you get what you paid for... it broke just after 2 weeks of normal usage! The holder cracked by the handler - It's a simple mechanism: you have to click it in its place for safe juicing, than you turn it to get the holder out... That's when it broke...I suggest you spend a little more money and get a sturdier modell. -- We had Phillips before. Same mechanism, no problems.Or if you can only afford this one, be super-careful with it. Don't turn it only by the handler, but use both hands.I gave two stars because other than breaking, it works well... : )

Absolute piece of CRAP! My last B&D juicer lasted over 10 years, juicing out hundreds of oranges and lemons each year. It processed at least 5,000 fruits. This new one would only juice in one direction, as the gears came stripped in the CW direction. After about 30 lemons, the CCW gears stripped too. What they make now is MUCH WORSE than what they used to make. The new one says, “Made in China”. Says it all.

It's probably one of the worst kitchen products I have ever boughten. It worked great the first three times I used it to squeeze ten pounds of oranges and some grapefruit. After the third use it stopped working just as great. It still works somewhat but it does not squeeze all of the juice that it used to the first few times. Maybe 20% of the juice of an orange it squeezes, I had to go back to using my manual squeezer. I barely set the orange to be squeezed and it makes this horrific noise as if it's about to break. Never again, I'd say stick to manual squeezing it will save you money.

It's too bad! this juicer has some great features and design but it is very flimsy. It became annoying to use it because of frequent stops and constantly click noise. I decided to get another citrus juicer that costs more the $ 150.00 but it's worth it! What a world of difference. Don't waste your money on cheap products, and look for more reliable and durable products. AND, unfortunately, that applies to most products made in China!

I would give this 0 stars if I could. I was on vacation and the house we rented had one of these. I was making homemade margaritas and thought it was the greatest invention ever, so I was excited to order my own. Well, the one in the vacation house must have been an original because it was way sturdier than what I received. The juicer I received didn't work if you actually put pressure on it. Which is key to juicing a lime successfully. I had to resort to unplugging it and manuallly juicing them, since I didn't have a backup plan to juice three bags of limes. Took forever and was incredibly frustrating. I threw it out after since it wasn't even worth shipping back.

Black and Decker used to be synonymous of quality and durability thats the reason why I bought this "Juicer". What a disappointment when I used this thing.. I called a thing because it is not a juicer it seems to be made as a toy for kids!! failed in the 1st day

I bought this on July 2016, since I love to make myself some 'orange juice' every morning. A month or so later, I hear this 'rattling/loud noice' coming from the machine ~ but ignored it, since it was still working. But, today, February 2017, as I was making my usual fresh squeezed orange juice, it finally stopped ~ the machine finally stopped and does not even work anymore. This is really a disappointment, to buy a product, that only last for barely 6 months. I suggest not to buy this ~ better to buy a better quality with the price. The reason I bought this, was because it was on sale. Now, this is really disappointing, since I have to go shopping and buy a new one.
