I've used this product for years. Whenever my wife or daughters gold/precious stone jewelry gets a bit dirty or needs to be brightened up... dip it in using the tray, swish it around a little, use the little brush that comes with it to remove any remaining debris and voila - jewelry looks good as new! (Note: read the directions/disclaimer so you don't damage certain things such as pearls)

My wife has used this kit to clean a lot of jewelry, including lots of very tarnished jewelry she received from her grandmother. It has not harmed any of the jewelry (it says not to use it on pearls, however) and it has cleaned everything up quite nicely. The solution is just now starting to look a tiny bit dingy after cleaning all of the old tarnished jewelry, but I believe it will still last for quite a while.

Product arrived well packaged and on time. It works well and I'm not afraid of accidentally leaving a jewelry piece in the solution too long if I forget it. It is gentle and works well also.

I got this to make my jewelry nice and clean. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well of a job it did. A very noticable difference from before aND after. Made my diamond do very sparkly. Highly recommend.

Works really good on shinning up silver and white gold. I have also used it to clean up some costume jewelry and it worked good.

I use this product weekly. My wedding rings were given to me by decreased mother-in-law. I would not trust these rings to just any jewelry cleaneer!

Easy to use and I like it comes with the little brush to clean the crevices of my ring. Also handy that it has the small tray inside the jar to dunk jewelry in. My only worry is that the cleaner itself will become gross with use as time goes on, since the tray remains in the same container as the liquid.

Does a good job cleaning diamonds, but I think i prefer the gel a little more on more porous stones.

Works wonders on my gold and precious stones making them look brand spanking new. Doesn't work on any of my jewelry that has silver though. For that, you really need a separate silver cleaner. I think this product works great but the cover does not fit well like other reviews indicated, thus leaking.

Works well and does what it's supposed to while also being gentle

Works great, nice price. My only complaint is it is really hard to get the plastic film off the top edges so it can be closed tightly.

Sorry to report that I have found their Gold version of the product less than satisfactory. It will do a fair job on gold but without much sheen. I use it when the gold has precious stones or pearls. Sometimes, I've been so disappointed and aggrivated with the amount of time it takes for mediocre results I've taken the risk and "popped" the gold piece into the silver solution for just a few seconds- the difference is amazing. Can't do it with anything painted, however. I tried it today with silver earrings and bobbles of blue and red painted "pearls" which were white - but beautifully shiny silver, when removed from the silver solution. when in the gold solution, nothing happened to clean the silver tarnish away but the bobbles were still the right colors. I had an opposite thing happen. I found a very old silve (or black) long chain from my Mother's second husband. I had no idea what color it was and assumed it was gold. Put it into the gold solution. It came out not so black, some color of silverish gold. I took a chance.....dropped it into the silver (afraid) for 4 seconds and that chain came out of there the most beautiful, shining gold chain I have ever seen. I gasped, it was so fantastic. I've never seen a design quite like it (he was Welsh) but the gold sheen was amazing. In the silver solution it was irridicent. In the gold it was undecernable. I've had the same thing happen with a beautiful gold, diamond and saphire ring my mother gave me. Three dip and dryings later, even gold wipes, still no sheen. I did he unthinkable and dipped in the silver for 3 seconds. that ring was gleaming like the day she gave it to me in 1972. I'm not sure why the gold solution is not gettting the job done properly, this is my 3rd purchase and my last. Moving forward I'll return to using polishing clothes for gold and stones as I'd done before.

It surely makes a dull ring better but nothing compares to giving the ring to the jeweler to make it shine for you.

Did the job, but took along time.

It cleansed my diamonds really well but the band didn't really get much of a lift. Not bad product but I want to say I have used better.

This is a cleaner not for tarnish. Did not take the tarnish off my silver jewelry.

Poor packaging. Jar comes in bubble pack envelope and was cracked in the bottom which caused it to start leaking. If it was sealed in plastic coating/bag like the Brilliant brands, then the leak would be contained. I glued the bottom crack so I can still use the product.

This didn't do anything for my tarnished silver. Throwing it away.

This is ok jewelry cleaner but the cup and basket stinks. The slots in the basket are so wide I've even had rings fall through. The brush just floats around and it can fall through the basket as well. I will be looking for something else because I make a mess everytime I use this. I does clean the jewelry though.

the slots are too big and jewelry falls to the bottom and you have to stick your whole hand in to fish it out.

Its alright. Excellent at cleaning gold and diamonds but thats about it....dont buy if you are planning to use on silver you're better off doing the boiling water with baking soda and tin foil way. It works much better than this product. I left silverware in it for 30 minutes and it did nothing did it the other way and it removed it almost instantly.

Terribly packaged, about 1/3 had leaked into the casing bag. It worked alright, I did see a difference on my ring but it didn't garner a WOW response. I'll try a different brand next time.

This jewelry cleaner unfortunately did not do a darn thing. I gave it two stars only because it didn't break or damage my jewelry.I cleaned sterling silver and some turquoise with this cleaner. I followed the instructions very carefully. None of the tarnish was removed, nor did my stones look any different in any way. I suppose you get what you pay for.

I guess it cleans a little. The jar is hard to get closed and the solution leaks out. Probably something I won't really use.

This did little in cleaning my jewelry. I was very disappointed.

I have a thin gold chain, that must not be 14K because it has darkened with age. I soaked it for a considerable time--over 2 hrs--and then brushed and rubbed and it's still the same. So, it hasn't worked up to my expectations.

Glad that I have a simple cleaner but if you are looking for something to REALLY sparkle up your diamond ring I highly recommend getting the Diamond Pen Cleaner by Connoisseurs, it works so much better than this.

Doesn't clean at all. Instead leaves a white film on jewelry. Disappointed.

I'm sorry to report that this did nothing for my costume or fine jewelry. I followed the directions, gave the pieces time to soak and used the wee brush included. I will update my review if I have any success but initial efforts yielded no improvement in the appearance or cleanliness of my pieces.

hate it- do not put your jewelry in that solution- it turns your jewelry yellowish- I was so disappointed- I didn't use my expensive jewelry but I threw it out a few days after using it twice- don't buy this product-

I bought this based on the number of good reviews. I do not know what happened to what I got because I might as well dip my silver in water. It would be the same.

Doesn't really clean thoroughly. Soaked my silver jewelry in there per the instructions, scrubbed with the brush inside some of the dirt came off. Jewelry looks worse than before I actually cleaned it. Going to have to take it to a professional and I hope my jewelry isn't ruined

Came with a crack in the container and was leaking everywhere. Had to throw it away.

I was quite disappointed with this product. I had to trash several of my pieces as they turned almost black after I soaked them. I ensured that I followed the instructions carefully before use. I will definitely not reorder.

Tried cleaning my silver jewelry twice and did not work at all. I wish I could return this.

Didn't clean my silver jewelry......and that's all I own. I thought it would, given the picture on the label.

First of all, the solution is blue. Second of all the lid doesn't screw on very. As you might imagine this ended with blue solution everywhere. In the end I just threw it away.
