Got my money's worth
October 16, 2017
Lifts my 3000+ SUV with ease. I also like the extender reach feature...for using with a higher to/ from ground vehicle. I've used it, my friends have used it....we like the value and quality of construction of the jack over all. I'd say a very good purchase.
Torin T83006 Service Jack
January 9, 2017
Works as promised, arrived very quickly, and is exactly what I needed.

Use this to lift my 2004 GMC Envoy.
October 19, 2015
Well- it is good jack- used it about 10 times so far to lift nissan xterra- does the job well. Works good and saves a lot of time. It leaks a little bit when use- but I had the same behaviour with craftsman jack from sears- I guess it is Ok. People complained it comes without oil in it- did not happen in my case but the box had a little oil spots. As I said it is leaking a little bit- not really too much, and I can leave with it. I better will add oil than pay extra 100 bucks for another one.
Surprisingly a good little jack
July 15, 2015
Surprisingly a good little jack. Bought it for my trucks mainly but tried it on my motor homes too.. 28 foot and 36 foot. Will pick up both wheels on trucks and one wheel on motor homes. No leaks and a hefty but manageable weight. I will buy a couple more just to keep one in vehicles I use the most. Highly recommend
Excellent Choice for Both Low Ground Clearance Cars and High SUVs
February 16, 2015
It was hard to tell, but the long red "neck" is actually a seperate piece between the black plate on top and the rest of the jack. So this jack actually works for both my 06 Acura TL (with little ground clearance) and my 04 Toyota Highlander SUV. I've used it repeatedly now for oil changes, transmission fluid changes, tire rotations, radiator flushes, etc. and has been incredibly good. I have a smaller 2-ton that I've been using for the last several years, and now wish that I had purchased this years ago. Having both, though, lets me jack up both the front and the back of the car, making tire rotations much easier. Worth every penny and seems solidly built for years of use.

This jack is amazing and lifts suvs right up with little handle effort needed. It is built so great It just is a lol inconvenient to have to jack it up to let the safety catch free to let it down other than that no worries about anything falling on you
the best jack i have ever used
April 25, 2016
the best jack i have ever used. i used it to lift my 2009 Cadillac ext. So I could change the brake, The jack worked great. it was hard to find a jack that would fit to lift my truck but this one did the job. It is a jack and a jack stand all in one.
April 19, 2016
So far So good. I read the reviews and was a little worried but bought anyway. I have not had any of the issues that i read about. i think that must have been a batch issue. It works really well. I like the idea. I have two 1 TON vehicles. So i like the added security of the jack stand.
Great bottle jack
December 5, 2015
If you have ever used a bottle jack they have a place but this unit is terrific for tractors or trucks as an example. I don't care for the standard small round cap that you must balance the vehicle on with most bottle jacks. This one has more of a channel that the vehicle can fit into and it feels safer while jacking. Love the wide base too.
Great for lifted or leveled 4x4s
September 7, 2013
Works as described and is very sturdy. Its tough built and hasn't failed me yet on any of my projects or repairs.**UPDATE**02/26/15I now have two of these. These are the best for leveled or lifted F150s they work great and with the Locking catch. You cant beat the reliability with that safety feature. I recently redid my entire suspension joints and struts, etc. Truck was lifted by two and they held perfectly even when torquing down 250# on bolts. The newer version of these don't have the 'double peg' design for the lowering lever. Instead the new ones have a flat bar and use a crimped end for tightening and loosening. Does not effect the jacks abilities.
I buy a used, but work very well. I like this so much.
April 5, 2013
The product I got was used, still working great, not a problem yet. It's great to see a company think outside the box and put great ideals all in one. It's saved me a lot of time.I don't know if the new one have the "little problem" that you need to push a little hard (you need to put your foot and then push the cylinder) to get this down. Nothing special, but a little problem if you wish to down speedly. With this, you almost need to have a little bottle jack, just if your vehicle is not to tall, because its minimum height it's a little big almost for a chevrolet blazer '95.
Four Star Reviews:
The jack appears to be built well.
October 5, 2017
I have not used it yet but it arrived in a real beat up box that was heavily taped and extra nylon straps so the box would not fall apart or possibly it was opened once before but lots of extra tape and nylon straps keeping the box together. The right rear caster was not attached it was laying in the box with a poorly designed wheel bearing and the nut on the caster as if someone did not feel like attaching it to the frame and just threw it into the box the only thing I did not find was the washer, it did not come apart because the nut and bearing was attached to the caster. The neck that comes with the jack looked used it had lots of minor scratches and tiny dings but nothing that will affect the performance. It does look solid, hopefully it will lift my van if I need to change a tire while I'm on the road, if not I have Triple A towing that can change my tire. I have a four ton floor jack at my house which I use so this jack is only for possible flat tires I might get on the road.
The extension is really useful. It lifts my Nissan frontier with no problems
September 6, 2017
The extension is really useful. It lifts my Nissan frontier with no problems. The only down side is the bar you pump with is kinda short and it's a little hard to push. But it works.
Does the job well
June 17, 2017
Does the job well. Seems a tad weak jacking up, but it lifted my Yukon XL Denali and it held it up well. It is a tad heavy, but not too bad. What I don't like is that it doesn't have a place to stow the handle bar. But if that's the only flaw, it's easy to live with.
but it still works fine (just makes it harder to move)
October 22, 2015
The little nub on the handle broke, but it still works fine (just makes it harder to move). I used this (almost exclusively at times) to put a 3.5-inch lift kit on my Jeep and it worked great for that.
Great for the price, very heavy.
October 21, 2014
This jack is probably the highest lifting jack I have seen. It drops well to ground and when not using the extension on the jack plate it will fit under the 2005 Scion xB which is very low, much lower than the average car. I use this jack to get my vehicles raised onto the highest setting of my jack stands which other jacks don't do. It is very heavy and will probably last a lifetime i hope. This jack is NOT a racing type jack that is lightweight, it is NOT a "quick" pump jack but it will lift 6000 lbs and the racing jacks usually won't for this price point. I would recommend.
First one was a dud, but the second one as great!
June 26, 2014
Upon first arrival, the inside of the package was dripping with oil and the main bar hole was all bent out of shape. It looked like someone banged it with a hammer. I was very disappointed. But I put in an exchange request with amazon and they had the UPS guy come pick it up and they delivered another one.The second jack that arrived was great! Nothing was broken, the package was solid, and everything worked great right from the start! The instructions do not give good pictures, but once I figured out what the leak valve was, I let some air out and then tightened it up and it was good to go. The lift works like a charm.Basically, I agree with all the other reviews that the quality department must be pretty awful at Torin. It seems hit or miss. Luckily my second one was a hit and the quality is great.

October 17, 2017
I will say, I was a bit dumb. I bought it to use for a car and the car is too low to the ground so I had to jack the car up a bit with the jack the car came with and then use these. I bought two. The reason I said "like" instead of "love" is because the instructions are a bit sparse. I figured out that you have to tighten the release on the first use and then it will allow you to pump. I also figured out that you have to pump the jack up a bit yo get enough to release the safety latch to release pressure.

April 10, 2017
This Jack combination amazing, however I could not use it since the minimum height of the bottle with the jack stand exceeds the minimum height of the chassis of my SUV (Mazda CX-9). It is excellent in safety and combines in an ideal way the jack with the jack stand.

It works for me just fine and does a decent job. It is kinda cheap but it serves the purpose for the price
Economical and safe hoist and stand
October 3, 2016
Very economical and safe way to hoist and hold my car while working on it. Now it may take a few extra minutes using two to evenly jack and secure but overall they work very well.

May 26, 2016
The jack is larger than depicted in the photos which surprised me as I was looking to place it into the cab of a pickup but to large. The jack appears well made however I have not had to use it yet and the base plate is large enough that a vehicle will not topple off.
August 9, 2014
Overall good product. I have had zero issues that some may have had with the earlier models (oil leaking from the cylinder, etc.) The only thing that I don't like is that it wasn't designed to actually hold or place the handles anywhere on the jack, and the center piece itself rattles like crazy when you're driving down the road (I keep this in the back of my FJ Cruiser now due to a new lift). Still very satisfied with this product though

April 18, 2016
Upsides - price, it works, pretty sturdy. Down sides - it didn't come filled with oil so you'll need to buy that ($4), and the release mechanism is separate from the pump mechanism - which might get annoying having to go back and forth. But it was sturdy built and good for the money. I think I would personally pay more for a better one. I returned it and got a Torin bottle jack.
I will be looking to replace the handle with a more sturdy version. The jack itself seems to work well
January 28, 2016
Mediocre quality. The jack handle flexes rather a lot when working the hydraulic pump. I will be looking to replace the handle with a more sturdy version. The jack itself seems to work well, but does not extend fully when lifting my truck.
You get what you pay for
August 30, 2014
This jack is cheap and it shows. It takes forever to jack a vehicle and is often too high to fit under cars. I don't trust the jack at all and it slipped off the frame of my car last week and the scissor jack I had under the frame kept the car from falling. I bought a Sears floor jack to replace this one because i don't want to die under a car
Good jack, but not the sturdiest ever
June 25, 2014
I will start out by saying that this jack has no problem lifting my Chevrolet Trailblazer high enough to put jack stands under it at their tallest setting. The mechanism is smooth and the release/lowering is easy to control. There isn't a lot to say about the performance of the jack, other than that it works exactly as it should. The problem I have with this jack is the wheels. One of the bolts holding the turning wheels bent over when lowering the car, so it appears that the bolts they use are not rated for the load that they will experience. I am going to grind the top off of the bolt and replace it with a new one, but I shouldn't have this problem.
SUV JACK? REALLY? IT STRUGGLES WITH MY ACCORD!
May 23, 2014
It can lift my accord, but I need a wrench to tighten the pressure knob. Without the wrench the lift only goes up about 4 inches before it is overcome by the weight of the car. It works, but it's annoying.
Decent jack for the money
June 14, 2010
No fault of the manufacturer, but when I received the box all four steel wheels on the jack had worn through the bottom until they were literally poking out! Unfortunately I think during all that rough handling the rubber nipple that fits into the oil reservoir fill hole was lost which caused my jack not to work at all when I received it. I wasn't able to determine why it didn't work so I called Torin customer service... after about 45 minutes (!) on the phone with them they identified the rubber nipple was missing and shipped me a replacement.Unfortunately, as was stated before, oil levels in the jack were low which necessitated a trip to the auto parts store for hydraulic jack fluid before installing the replacement nipple. After filling oil and replacing the fill reservoir nipple it works as advertised, although it's very slow to raise. It takes about 20 pumps to reach full height, although it's very sturdy during the lifting/lowering process.Other mentioned the lack of aesthetics and that's no lie. Granted, it's a floor jack and not designed for beauty. Having said that, it's definitely not a "looker" with sloppy (but strong) welds, chips in the paint, etc. I didn't buy it for looks, I bought it because it's among the tallest jacks available for <$100US.

August 19, 2016
This jack is strudy and well built. I would have rated it higher but the maximum lift height needs to be increased to make it more versatile with different pieces of equipment. A lift height of 30 inches would make this an excellent leveling/stabilizing jack for a 5th wheel trailer or a straight tow camping trailer.
Insulting Customer Service Experience
August 15, 2016
A solid, seemingly well-built bottle jack with integrated safety stand. Heavy unit at >20 lbs.I had a couple of questions about the jack, and found the owner's manual to be woefully inadequate - no pictures, no diagram/description of the parts, just a few lines of text that assume a high level of knowledge/proficiency on the part of the user.(Not everyone is a mechanic or works in a machine shop - the safe/correct operation of the unit, oiling/maintenance procedures, and changing the hydraulic fluid...are not "text only" undertakings for a lot of people.)I spoke with a representative on the phone who came across as articulate and "learned" - which made it all the more aggravating when he cut me off before I could even ask my first question. After questioning my general level of "handiness" and experience with bottle jacks, the fellow launched into a lengthy and smug-sounding analogy about the operation of step ladders and the process of letting the air out of a balloon. When I tried to steer the conversation back on track and in a more productive/relevant direction, he again cut me off and scolded me for "interjecting".My last experience/purchase with this company...an honest question about the SAFE operation of a product should never lead to the type of "wisenheimer" treatment that I received on the phone.
great idea, pump is probably a cheap one
September 30, 2015
works, but will not retract by itself, great idea, pump is probably a cheap one, but works and solves the problem of carrying a jack and a jack stand. would I buy again???????? if theres not a better one for around the same price yes.

September 24, 2014
Works OK but-----the tripper that allows the device to lower is chincy and the hydraulic jack appears to have some internal reason it extends in an uneven fashion.
It's okay for the price
August 26, 2014
Be careful when raising this jack/stand to its highest position as it sometimes gets stuck on the last notch. Other than that, it's a quality product and does what it's advertised to do. Great price!

Garbage, and quite likely unsafe
August 23, 2017
Thge small casters are designed to be loose and wobble. There's a gap due to the bolt size. I wouldn't trust this not to shift under the weight of a vehicle when lifting it. I also have no faith the casters can hold anywhere near the weight of a vehicle as the "bearings" sandwiched between the caster and plate are steel balls in a plastic washer.

Does the job but it doesn't have any handle or anything to pick it up by so its a bit awkward to transport.
and does not like to stay up when under pressure
April 23, 2016
The first one I got was defective, the second one only raises my car a foot and a half, and does not like to stay up when under pressure. This is suppose to be a 3 ton jack, and I am simply just trying to lift a Hyundai Accent.
Wanted to like it but it started to leak oil after about 6 months
April 9, 2016
I wanted to like this jack and while it worked it was great but after a few months of occasional use it has started to leak oil and won't lift more than about a quarter of the way up. Like I said I wanted to like it but now it is worthless after less than a dozen uses, so I am off to try and find a better one.
Came broken right out of the box.
June 20, 2015
Could be good, but came broken right out of the box. Perhaps it's a fluke, but it's pretty annoying to have to return something this heavy and massive back to Amazon. The brackets that hold the wheels up were broken. See pics. Either a bad welding job or a bad idea to have it be welded in the first place. Should be one solid piece.
November 12, 2013
Seems to be working ok, but the scary thing is that the casters stop pivotting now, so the Jack can't compensate for it's movement, the entire caster is stuck in place and it just grinds out the concrete underneath as the car is being lowered. Feels like if this keeps up, it the jack will fail soon.
1 worked, 1 was defective. 50% failure rate!
October 7, 2017
So I ordered 2 of these. One worked just fine and the other one didn't. Here was the problem with the 2nd one. Between the stand section and the hydraulic jack bottle is a space where the latch needs to be able to move freely. On the jack that works that space is probably about 1/4 inch, and on the non-working one that space is between 1/16-1/8 inch. So clearly their manufacturing and quality assurance process isn't great if you've got that much variation on a critical component/area.The problem is that as you lift a vehicle higher and higher, that space becomes small and smaller. I guess the jack and stand start leaning into each other a bit. At a certain point the space becomes so small that the latch that locks the stand in place can't travel freely, which makes the stand useless at the higher settings! If this was a toy or some other less important thing, I could probably just jam something in there to keep that space open so everything worked fine. However, this is a tool I'm trusting my life to in a lot of ways, and I'd rather it work perfectly than risk some terrible accident if my jury-rig fix doesn't work.I think this is a neat product and is very useful when it works. I really hope the manufacturer reads this review and fixes their manufacturing process to prevent this on future models. I've returned the defective one and ordered a replacement...we'll see if this next one works, I hope it does. Perhaps then I'll update my review.
Quality control problem
May 3, 2017
I purchased this for emergency flat tire replacement. In practicing how to use this device, it didn't seem to lock in place as advertised. I called customer support but could not get to speak to anyone so I used the option for an agent to call me back. I never got a call back. Very sad. However, I did figure out that the main set screw was loose which caused the locking problem. It seems to be working correctly now. I am extremely dissatisfied with Alltrades quality control.

Great product, horrible price
July 27, 2014
Great product, horrible price. Found it a week later at Tractor supply for $20 less, which hurts even more since I bought two of them. Thanks again Amazon.

Worked great.... until the jack wheel FELL OFF!
September 28, 2017
The jack initially worked fine, but after 4 or so uses, one of the pivoting wheels fell completely off. Thank God no one was hurt! It looks as if it was due to a bad welding job - see the attached pictures. There is another review I saw here on Amazon that looked like the same manufacturing defect. Before it broke, I liked the way it operated. The removable extra long neck was very handy for my Minivan and the removable handle was nice for storage.
August 25, 2017
Absolutely garbage. The spot you put the handle in was mangled and bent beyond repair. DONOT BUY!

Horrible. I haven't even had this jack for a year and it already fails to hold up one corner of a car. Spend the extra money and get a better jack.
Leaks and slowly loses pressure
September 5, 2016
I bought this jack to replace my old one that was 20 years old as it was rusting and failing when ever you tried to put weight on it This jack leaks ... I primed it when I first got it ( as the directions say to get out any air that maybe trapped ) and I went to use it yesterday on my 2002 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited as I was going to change my engine mounts ... I jacked my Jeep up and went into the house to get a socket I forgot to grab and came back out less than 10 minutes later and my jack lowered down about 2 inches .... Now I needed to get the mounts put in and I did but this jack was a pain.. I had to stop what I was doing every few minutes and pump the jack back up because it would slowly start losing pressure .. Your better off spending an extra $20-$30 and getting a jack that works , this will be considered my junk jack for tires and nothing else as I now have to go out and spend money on another jack so save yourself the headache and money and just get a better one
AVOID. Spend more money on a more high quality jack.
August 27, 2016
Please avoid this jack. It has failed on me twice during one attempted use. The jack isn't as sturdy as you would think. The metal seems kind of soft and when it failed on me my car fell on the jack and scratched and dented it all up so I doubt I could even return it if I somehow managed to lug it to the mailing store... The portion of the jack that makes contact with the vehicle isn't kind to the vehicle either... Spend more on a higher quality jack that will be much safer than this one. You don't want it falling on you like it did on me...EDIT: Also the first glance at the product I noticed the jack does not sit level. The four wheels all do not touch the ground... Not a good sign of quality.
October 22, 2013
Had for about 1.3 years. Used it about maybe 10 - 12 times. Cylinder started leaking. Got worse. Unless they change the design, have better quality control, I would not advise buying one of these. Lifted F150 4x4 fine. Good for trucks or vehicles high off the ground. But it is junk cause it leaks. You wonder if the people who make products use or test them? They ever hear of reliability engineering?

September 28, 2017
I opened the box, I noticed a wet spot on the floor; it was the jack leaking oil everywhere. Not safe to use it leaking. Returned. Tks.

Junk!! Don't Buy!!! First time use...Hydraulic oil leaked out!!
Beware: unit broken and already used
April 7, 2017
The unit showed up on time, but it was clear from the carton box that it was used and/or already opened once.Once out the box the jack was filthy dirty, like the hydraulic fluid leaked everywhere and had time to sit. The lifting mechanism wasn't working of course and itself it was very wabbly representing poor structural quality.Unit was returned same day.
October 2, 2016
Leaked fluid the first time I used it. Don't buy it.
poor quality, difficult to use
March 26, 2016
Poorly made, poor quality, difficult to use. Handle much too short and falls apart. The range listed is not actually the lifting range since you have to set the height with a pin (which fits badly). Would return.
Good idea, poorly made
April 17, 2013
I used this jack once on a 08 regular cab toyota tacoma. It didn't last long enough to finish the job. The primary piston sprayed fluid with every pump. The tolerances between the locking sleeve and the center stand were too tight. You have to push down for the jack to retract. It scraped off paint on retraction. If this jack were properly made, I would buy another. Instead, I'm returning it.
