Five Star Reviews: | 58% There are no reviews yet | 64% Cook Pro 561 4-Piece All-in-1 Lasagna and... May 14, 2017 what can I say ? they are stainless cooking pans with handles, well made but not as heavy as restaurant quality Great value May 13, 2017 So far have just used the small pan for a turkey breast. Worked out great...doesn't take up much oven space and washed up nicely. Great stainless steel product April 15, 2017 So I was thinking that for the price it was going to be a cheap product. Product is actually really nice and not cheaply made. I recommend these if you are looking for a product that is made well and looks nice. Great pans! June 29, 2016 These pans are fantastic. I used them recently when I brought them to my sister's house and made two pans of lasagna for a large party. They bake very well, even though they are not super thick stainless steel and they were a breeze to clean! A great addition to your kitchen if you like to cook as much as I do. The large pan feeds a crowd; the smaller one could be just for the family. They also came with two stainless steel inserts for using as a roaster--I'll probably use them to cool my cookies when I bake them. So versatile. If this isn't a good deal to you I'm betting you're one of those who must have the popular big name brand of everything you buy. January 23, 2016 Great deal. Large one was plenty sturdy being held packed to the top with lasagna and I am a picky (want more than I should expect for my money) type. Anyone who says they actually tried these and they are flimsy is one of those people that have to have the most expensive household status implying name in all products in their lives not real cooks. The racks are no good for holding any weight so that I will say if you think they're going to keep a heavy roast or fowl up above the bottom of the pan forget it but I use them as cookie cooling racks. I don't roast things in this sort of pan but if you're looking for a proper lasagna pan or one to hold a big panfull of eggplant parmasean this is great for the money & you get too really good sizes at a great price. |
Four Star Reviews: | 11% There are no reviews yet | 18% Good price for very usable cookware September 26, 2017 Very usable items for roasting, cooking fish and chicken, etc. I use the small a lot and it works fine. I do always line the pan with aluminum foil to make clean-up easier and reduce staining of the metal. For the price, I love them. Pretty Good Pan Set January 15, 2017 Nice pans, but could be a little heavier gauge and the handles a bit more comfortable, but not bad for the price. They are not overly large and can the smaller one is suitable for a countertop oven. The stainless steel seems to be of pretty good quality. The racks are not stainless steel - they are chromed steel, but are ok. For Indoor Or Outdoor Use - November 7, 2015 I wanted a large pan to use outdoors in my covered grill. The large one looked like it would fit so I bought the set. My experiment worked. For the first round of appetizers, the large one "baked" honey glazed ribs, the smaller one "baked" frozen pre-breaded beer batter shrimp, all on the deck watching a couple of Sunday NFL games. I liked them enough to buy two more set for Christmas presents. Live the pans-racks, not so much September 24, 2015 I love the pans...racks not so much. Have used 5 or 6 times. The plating has come off of the rack. All in all a good value if just for the two pans themselves. Stir without slopping. March 11, 2015 Great for roasting vegetables in the oven. I had been using a cookie sheet with a narrow edge, and had to be careful that I didn't move the veggies off of the pan when I stirred. This pan is perfect. I always line my pans with either foil or parchment, so I don't know how it would hold up without being lined. I would give it 5 stars, except it feels a little flimsy. It works great, though. |
Three Star Reviews: | 12% There are no reviews yet | 8% Poor choice of stainless for food aplications. January 25, 2017 Do not use aluminum foil to cover anything in these pans. The type of stainless used reacts to it leaving dissolved foil in your food, and holes in the foil. If this happens. Do NOT eat the food toss it out. My New Years lasagna went in the trash this year. As a result my son is now using them in his garage to clean car parts. Not too bad. June 15, 2016 I've used the small pan a few times and the roasting rack is already showing some rust. Other than that, they're pretty good. The metal isn't what you'd call 'thick' but strong enough to support anything you toss in them without showing fatigue. Good Value for the Price. November 23, 2015 These are thin, but for the price they serve their purpose. I prefer a thin pan for lasagna because I cook mine low and slow. Because it's thin, the outside will lightly crisp and the lasagna will hold it's shape. Don't know if I'd use it for other casserole time dishes though. Cheap quality but ok if you win the casserole-pan lottery October 17, 2015 I usually cook casseroles in glass pans but wanted the stainless steel for when I want to turn on the broiler and melt/brown cheese. These are good for that. The only problem I had was that, on the first set I got, one of the spot-welded clips that hold the handles was missing so I had to return the first set. The preplacement set arrived in 2 days and the clips seem well-attached. Pitting occured first use..... March 30, 2015 These pans are a nice weight, look nice. The pans clean up very easily. They are not for commercial use but will serve the home cook very well. Our only issue is that they both pitted after baking coffee cakes in them. We have a very inexpensive set of stainless pans made in India that we purchased ten years ago that are used on the grill, for lasagna, brownies, etc. that are much flimsier and they have never pitted. If we want to bake anything else in the pans we will do what another reviewer does and line with parchment paper. |
Two Star Reviews: | 10% There are no reviews yet | 4% Nice looking when they are new November 15, 2016 Nice looking when they are new, however, after soaking it turned bluish purple like the pan got super hot and burned. Sharp, not rolled edges. August 6, 2016 They are pretty light weight which I expected for the price, but the edges are not rolled over and they are quite sharp, particularly the corners. Be prepared to spend some time sanding/grinding down the sharp edges. i would like what i paid for please. May 23, 2015 When I received the Cook Pro Pans I was missing a Cooking Rack for the small pan. It was Evident that the original box had been opened. |
One Star Reviews: | 9% There are no reviews yet | 6% One Star February 14, 2017 I should've bought a non-stick surface. It spots a lot and gets sticky after roasting. Difficult to clean. Pretty poor quality December 16, 2016 Extremely low quality. If you will use them infrequently, or don't really cook much, you might find them useful. They are very thin, and my larger one had a pronounced bulging bottom that caused the pan to rock. They appear to be pressed from stainless sheet metal. The handles are constructed from an open loop of wire with a thinner piece of sheet steel formed into a rudimentary spot welded clamp holding them to the pans. I never cooked with them, so can't speak to performance. Absolute garbage. I cooked one casserole in the small pan ... October 28, 2015 Absolute garbage. I cooked one casserole in the small pan and it pitted severely. It appears not to be solid stainless but plated. I'm printing a return label as I write this. |
