It's a hit with the Kitty's!
March 3, 2017
Got the super senses 2.0 quickly. Easy to assemble in a pattern that works for your area. I like that it can be modified to keep the cat's interest because, let's face it, cats bore easily.

I upgraded to the illuminated balls. They really catch the cats attention and keep them playing. The tracks have "waves" that speed up the balls and keep playtime interactive even for one cat.

I often hear them in their room playing with the toy. If one of the other cats hears the track being used, they run into the room to get into the action. So it's a hit!

I've had one of my cats pull off the green covers a couple times. They lock in by sliding into place, but she gets them off. She's a polydactyl (6 toes) so she may be getting her foot stuck in the holes. I find it beneficial that the piece comes free if the kitty gets her foot trapped. It allows them to free themselves without harm. The holes are more than adequate. She may just be pulling them off, or her feet may be exceptionally large.

So cleverly designed. Not only does it entice the kittens but it does me as well. I spend hours playing with the cats using this! The Digger for Cats, the food tree and the illuminated ball make it so much more fun. I have been re-arranging this in many ways so the kitties don't get bored and they don't! What impressed me the most is that all the items come in boxes that we can cut holes in (they have marked it) and the kittens get extra ply things!! Highly recommended.

Absolutely worth every penny!
April 3, 2016
Let me start by saying I've got two cats. Both male. Atticus is a year old (weighing about 14lbs - he's huge), Pekoe is about 8 months (weighing about 8lbs). I got this toy hoping it would entice Atticus, as Pekoe started stealing all the action on the feather tickler that was previously Atticus' favorite toy. Right out of the Amazon box I loved this toy. Their packaging was simple, clean, effective. And it's designed to be a toy too! (More on that later). As I unpacked it and set up the track, both boys were more interested in that track than the unexplored Amazon box on the floor nearby. If you're buying this... and you buy from Amazon... odds are you know how much it means when the cat is more interested in what came out of the box than the box itself. They both had fun with it for nearly a solid hour after it was assembled. It's been a few months now and they both still play with it periodically, I'd say probably at least daily, maybe for about 5-10 minutes at a time. It is without any doubt their most returned to toy (they have tons), and that is only partly due to the fact it can't get lost (like their beloved catnip mice).

About the box. The box the toy came it was designed to have holes cut out to make it a "treat maze" (big hole the cat can put its head in, small holes for paws) and it had a cute pirate chest design on it. The holes were marked a little too small - the smaller of my cats got his head stuck getting a treat out. I re-cut it a little bigger and they both continued to be mildly intrigued, but overall it wasn't great for treats. What it did work great for was toys! I put some pompoms in and they went nuts batting them around trying to get them out. Every day or so I put them back in and they find them all over again. And that's another thing about it... that box still looks about like it did the day it arrived. It was built to last a while.

I will definitely buy more from this company again. They're great, their products are great! I love it and the boys love it!
Cat time waster
January 20, 2016
So far, both cats are completely entranced by this. I would consider this the cat equivalent of binge watching Netflix. They play and play and play. I love it because it keeps them from doing other stuff that gets them in trouble (like jumping on the counter).

It's a great value just the way it is. But I am looking forward to the light up balls that are arriving on Friday.

Both cats love it, both their paws fit, they are both able to easily bat the ball over the hills. The female has tried to dismantle the track to no avail. She chews on it and tries to move it. It appears pretty sturdy. I'll update my review if anything changes.

I'm looking forward to purchasing additional pieces as my budget allows.
Now Max has a Super Seahawk Circuit and it's purrrfect
October 15, 2015
We joined it to 2 sets of the blue play circuit. Now Max has a Super Seahawk Circuit and it's purrrfect!

Max hasn't been able to pop the top off the 2.0 version like he did on the original. In fact, it's tough for those of us with opposable thumbs to remove it. He seems to like the longer track, but isn't a big fan of the waves (we removed them).

We also have the Wellness Center 2.0 and the Grass Planter 2.0. With the expanded track, the Wellness Center fits. Max enjoys lying on the big green pad and has occasionally rubbed his face on the combs, but it hasn't been the hit we thought it would be. Maybe with more time and encouragement.

Update 3/2016: Max really loves all his Catit toys. We added the waves back in and he's figured it out. You Tube video of Max posted by Catit: [...]

Now the Cat Grass Planter, we know he will love. Max loves to chew on cat grass and this big planter is nice and stable. We won't spend as much time picking up the mess after he knocks over the cat grass!

All-in-all, the Catit 2.0 products are Max approved (and he loves the blue and green Seahawk mode. Very kind of the good people at Catit)!

July 3, 2017
Update: I think a lot of your satisfaction with this toy depends on if your cat will like it. After failing to return it and getting an additional kitten I set it back up and he has been addicted to it. It takes up a good bit of room and I'm still nervous about the build quality but he plays with it nearly every day so I will upgrade my rating a star. :)

Original Review: My cat was interested in it for a while but then gave up. I think she found it frustrating she could only touch the ball for a second before it went to another part of the track that wasn't reachable. From an owner's standpoint, it takes up a lot of space. There are other products that aren't as huge, are cheaper, and provide more enjoyment. The biggest detraction was the flimsy clips on the bottom. During assembly I was afraid they would break so I certainly wouldn't want to have to take them apart and reassemble them. Look elsewhere.
my set did not come with a ball like it was supposed to
February 3, 2017
Cat loves it, my set did not come with a ball like it was supposed to, but as it was too much hassle to return this thing for a replacement, I just bought a set of their light up balls to put in it instead. Thinking of getting another set (one without the hills) to make it bigger and connect the thing into an actual loop to keep it moving more. Because while the cat does enjoy playing with it, she gets bored when it gets to the end and she keeps batting it down their. Would be more engaging as a continuous loop I think.
Gert likes this so we are happy :)
November 14, 2016
Gert enjoys playing with the track. She has no problem getting her paw (or her entire front leg) into the holes along the track itself. When she plays with this, it engages her attention for 5-10 minutes at a time. I estimate she plays with this at least twice each day. Also, she prefers the original ball which comes with this unit. We tried the LED light-up ball but she did not respond as well to it. My only "issue" with this is that it is rather difficult to take the segments apart in order to change the configuration of the track.
Great toy, but can only keep a cat entertained for so long.
October 25, 2016
I purchased the Catit Senses 2.0 Play Circuit for my 4 month old cat that I just adopted a few weeks ago. He played with it as soon as I took it out of the box and put it together. I bought this toy for him so he could have something to keep him entertained for I'm gone for work and school. My cat has had this for two weeks now and he really likes it. However, it seems as if this toy can only entertain my cat for so long. He seems to get bored literally after a minute or less of playing with it. I'm not sure if it's just my cat's preference. But overall quality is very impressive.
More improvements are needed but some of my cats enjoy this
November 12, 2015
3.6 stars for how it comes. See below for how to make it 4-5 stars!! Two of my four cats will play with this. The third is not interested at all. The fourth is very interested but can't fit his paws into the holes in the covers to move the ball around the track. I have four American domestic short hair cats. Two are part Siamese and are movers and two that are stationary players and much harder to get moving.

I have the original catit play circuit (no raised hills) and the speed circuit. (Had raised hills) (both from the blue "previous generation") There are very few differences between the two that I have noticed. The track is longer than the previous offerings. (If only buying one set) However, there are many improvements that I wish were already fixed with this "2.0 model". I will list some pros and cons to possibly help guide your purchase.

Pros:
-The green covers lock into place (by sliding ahead) There is an illustration showing which way to slide on the covers on the covers themselves.
-Toy should interest cats who like stationary play and who already like similar ball on track toys like the Bergan Turbo Track or Chaser or the Petstages catnip chase toy.
-The toy is part of the 2.0 line and will be a very nice border for possible play at the outside of the other 2.0 items if you have purchased or are interested in those.
-Stationary ball track toys are very good toys to get cats who are stationary players or that may be overweight moving, because they sit and play with the toy but then when the ball goes out of reach they may be motivated to move to keep it in motion. The toy can also occupy your cats when you are unable to play with them.
-The box is very pretty and has instructions on it for creating a treat puzzle box with a little cutting and bending.

Cons:
- The toy didn't come with any instructions or layout samples to help put the toy together. The only "instructions" are hard to understand pictures in a small corner of the box.
-The holes in the green covers and in between the covers that are supposed to send the ball around the track with a paw swipe may be too small for your cat's paw to fit in especially if you have large males or large breed cats. The manufacturer should have two size options on the covers for small and large cats.
- The hills on the super circuit and wave circuits are a little steep (especially for such a heavy ball) for the average cat to get the ball going on. The ball will crest the hill but then roll back down most times and your cat may walk away frustrated.
-The ball is heavy and requires a lot of force to get moving around the track.
-The pieces slide together and if not completely aligned there will be a ridge in between the pieces that the ball can get stuck on.

I might try replacing the ball that it comes with with a more lightweight ball such as a ping pong ball to see if my cats can get it to move a little more and therefore be more interested and less frustrated. I would still recommend this toy if you have multiple cats or a cat who likes to "sit and play" with similar toys but probably the regular play circuit and not the one with the hills unless some improvements are made.

UPDATE: 5 stars if you add two ping pong balls to the track instead of the ball it comes with! All 4 of my cats now play with it and for a long time! The ping pong balls are a lot more lightweight and easier for the cats to get over the hills and will even go around the track with a "halfway hit" if you have the problem of your cat not being able to get their paws in the openings. Also be sure all the pieces are aligned by pushing down on the edges of the white track in the openings between the covers. Also be sure you locked your covers or they'll come off.

Okay cat toy.
June 21, 2017
Holds my cat's interest 2-3 minutes a couple times a day--MAYBE. Her favorite thing to do is to flip off the top segments. They do not fit securely. I have arthritis in my hands and had a little difficulty putting it together. The ball flows through the segments pretty easily. It would be nice if two balls were provided -- one like the one that comes with it and one that makes some sort of noise. If I had seen this toy at a store I probably would not have bought it, but I'll keep it.
The product is good - it's my cats that are the issue
May 13, 2017
Well built and easy to put together. My cats just looked at me playing with it - trying to teach them - for a month and wouldn't give it a try. I gave it to a friend and her cat
started to play with it but got her paw stuck so she just took the ball out for her cat to play with. I think the paw openings need to be a bit larger for full grown fat cats.
4 stars for quality, 3 for kitty entertainment, 3 for design
January 18, 2017
Too many bank turn pieces. My cat would have loved this if it had a few more flat turns and straightaway pieces to make the track extra long so he can really get the ball going. Instead he gets frustrated because he can't get up much momentum to push the ball over the back turns. I've assembled the track with just the flat turns and straightaway pieces that are included, but it's so short; it's just not the same.
The interlocking pieces seem to stay together pretty well, but two of the connectors have already cracked after just a couple of design reassemblies.
I do like the track cap feature though - it entices my cat to reach in and get the ball wherever it's "hiding."
Green pieces don't stay on
July 15, 2016
This play circuit is great, and my cat loves playing with it all day. You have to make sure to give your pet some time to adjust and figure things out --on the first day, my cat barely played with the circuit, but by the 3rd day, she had figured out the chase and started playing with it and lounging near it all day! I took two stars off for mechanical reasons: the top green half-tube pieces don't stay on the white underside pieces. There's just no way to keep them on tight - they "snap" in at first, but one light nudge upwards and they pop right out. My cat's already figured this out and keeps tearing the top tubes off, which sort of defeats the purpose. The design needs to be updated for more stability.

EDIT: 7/31/16

So parts of two of the top green half-tubes have chipped away and won't stay on the white track anymore. Would the seller please let me know how I can get replacement parts just for the two green pieces?? PLEASE
Just Okay if you don't mind always having to play the game with the Cats
May 11, 2016
I bought this for my indoor cats. They played with it only a few days. I tried changing the moving pieces. Still little interest. I move it to the outdoor feral cats. Of the 4, only 1 has little interest and that is when I push the ball around for him. The problem for my indoor and outdoor cats is the tunnel like structure. They much prefer the Bergan Turbo Round track with scratcher in the middle and I think it is because there isn't a cover over the ball so it makes it easier for them to push the ball around and around.

I like it but my cat couldn't care less
September 4, 2017
I like it but my cat couldn't care less. She'll watch me play with it but isn't interested in it herself. I tried putting the "fireball" In but she still didn't care to actually play with it. I received a damaged packaging box so I couldn't review the other part of the toy. Shame because my cat loves digging in cardboard holes, which is why I thought she would like this toy track.

Otherwise, great build, love the material, love making my own shapes, easy to use, easy to clean. I bet a toddler would get a big kick out of it with the fireball in it. I'm still a little tempted to get more parts just because I have so much fun messing with the track myself, but since I was trying to get my cat more active that'd just be a waste of another $20. I'm hoping if I play with it enough in front of her she'll eventually get the picture and play with it herself. I'll update my review if she ever does.
Nice quality, poor design - kittens got frustrated.
August 10, 2017
Sadly, this did not work out for my kitties. The construction is good and the way it fits together is nice and it stays secure. In that aspect it is a good product, I liked the quality of it. The problem lies in the design for the fact that the track is nearly 80% covered and my cats get frustrated that they can't get to the ball. I removed many of the green covers so they could actually touch/push/paw at it, but then the ball falls right out of the track. The holes in the covers either need to be much larger or the covers themselves need to be much shorter in length to allow larger spaces between the covers. I'm not sure how a full-grown cat with large paws would be able to play with this (thinking Maine Coon or Ragdoll). My cats are 6-month-old kittens, so they don't have large paws, but they got frustrated very quickly because the really couldn't access the ball. I even tried the separate "Fireball" that CatIt makes that flashes. They really liked that, but again, couldn't get to the ball so they just walked away and played with their Bergan Catnip Hurricane Cat Toy instead. That one is much more open and they can get to the ball from any position/direction, and the balls do not fall out of the track. I would consider this product again if they did a major redesign on the covers to allow better access to the ball or made a version that was more open with a tapered track to prevent the ball from just falling off the track.
Not worth it
May 3, 2017
My cat loves chasing balls. I thought it would be a fun toy for him and he wouldn't lose the ball. He doesn't lose the ball, but the ball is a little difficult for him to move and he loses interest in the toy if I'm not helping him. There are definitely better toys out there. Probably wouldn't have bought this item if I had known more about it.
Maybe for kittens, but not for cats.
August 19, 2016
The ball it comes with doesn't light up, so my cats showed no interest in it initially. I had to purchase a light up ball separately. But the track is very easy for my cats to take apart, so the ball doesn't stay on the track long anyway.

Catit Senses Kittens and Cats don't play with this toy.
September 29, 2017
Kittens and Cats don't play with this. I foster kittens/cats and own 4 cats and 1 kitten. When I first put this out for the kittens to play with it, they had trouble putting their little paws in the holes to push the balls along, other kittens since have ignored this toy. The adult cats don't even look at it. All the cats and kittens don't want anything to do with this. I ordered the Catit Senses 2.0 Fireball and Illuminated Ball - 2-Pack to go with it and they still won't play with it. Now I have another cat toy kittens and cats don't want anything to do with wasting space in my house not to mention the money I spent on this. Very irritated about it.
BIGGEST FLOP CAT TOY EVER
July 28, 2017
I have 4 cats ages 1 to 9. Two of my cats totally ignored it, one just looked at it and the fourth cat played with it no more than 6 or 7 minutes, even though I sprinkled catnip inside/outside the tracks and even though I kept pushing the ball. Considering the hefty $30 price (it's only plastic, after all) it's not even worth the encumbrance. I'm returning it ASAP.
my cats have a few different ones that they love so much
April 25, 2017
so excited when it arrived, my cats have a few different ones that they love so much, so when I saw this I knew they would love it, but they did not like it, they tried to play with it, but the ball kept getting stuck in between the holes and I kept getting up to push it thru, they gave up any interest in it and went back to playing with the older ones. USELESS
Complete Kitty Fail.
April 14, 2017
One Star. I don't hate it. My CATS HATE IT! Even bought the red flashing ball. This darn thing seemed to get such rave reviews, but it was a total fail with all three of our cats. They much prefer the the simple CHEAP track ball with the corregated scratch pad in the middle. Two of them are older, so we thought maybe age in their case, but our 18 month old kitten wasn't impressed either. Blah.... Now I have to find something else and hope they'll like it.
Not for old cats.
March 11, 2017
My senior cats didnt love it. I had big hopes but they are the critics. I guess kittens and young cats have fun with it. But my 3 cats ignored the toy, got scared or didn't care for it.
Cats tire of it quickly
