It is a great tool for her so far as she learns to use it to capture her photos. It seems to be a quality introductory camera! very good cameraJanuary 22, 2015 I got this for Christmas from my grandparents and it works very well. There are a few problems though: 1. The lighting must be perfect 2. Zooming in ruins focus 3. Video playback has no sound 4. It just appears cheap. All of these are problems but all in all its a great camera.
