Good construction and value. Works well!
October 5, 2016
So, I bought this because someone wrote a review saying that the nut used to connect it to your shower arm coming out of the wall was one that could twist/spin, to allow for the extender arm to be positioned exactly as you wish. Well, that review was written in 2013, and the manufacturer has since welded the nut. I was worried, but there was no need to be. The welded nut went on perfectly, and positioned just right.I've not noticed the "this materials used are so thin" reviews that some others complain of. It installed without any bending or twisting. I mean, it has a nut that you use a wrench to tighten (using a cloth over, to prevent scratching). Are these people just twisting it on and using the arm itself to tighten? Of course it will bend and mangle using that method! Install it using proper methids, and you should be fine.Someone else linked a different (preferred, to them) arm in their review that has a larger diameter tubing ... insinuating that this tubing on this is too small for adequate water flow. Nonsense! There is plenty of water flow from this ... and we have just average water pressure. I DID take the diverter out of the shower head we bought to go with it, and it works brilliantly.P.S. the reviewer who posted the above-mentioned link to a larger diameter arm failed to mention that the larger arm was also twice the price of this one! Umm ... duh. Of course you get more when you pay more. The joints on this unit are strong, and the arm stays in place with the rainshower head attached. No weird engineering required, and the joints just tightened by the thumbscrews.I would buy this product again. A good value, and a good price.
Easy Install, Works Like A Charm
July 29, 2016
This is the second time I've purchased this adjustable shower arm and I does everything I need it to do. I initially order this device because the water pipe coming into the bathroom shower (in my rental unit) was way too low for me (I had to crouch to get under the water) - so this gave the needed extension I was looking for. Installation was very simple, including the use of the sealant tape that comes with the product. I've owned and used the first one I purchased for about two years (the second one was a gift), and I've had ZERO issues with leaks or the screw tighteners at the joints. Two years after installation, it's in the same position as I've originally installed it. I will add though that I don't use a heavy shower head (one of those plum-sized screw-in heads with no hose/attachments). So read other reviews if you're using something heavy.PROS:- Easy to install- No leaks / no weak joint screws (with a light shower head)- Easy to adjust positionCONS:- might not be able to handle very heavy shower heads* photo shows the product. I was able to gain 8 additional inches of vertical compared to my original faucet installed unusually low. Now I don't have to crouch.
Awesome!

Put two of them together for a real rain shower experience. I had one of the extenders and the rain head for almost two years but the other day thought to buy another extender to give me more height. Im 6ft and have more than 6 inches of clearance. FYI, the two extenders are the same brand. I went with the same because the first one lasted so long with no issues. Also, I move frequently so it has been installed and uninstalled 6 times in two years. No leaks, no problems.
Does the job
March 27, 2015
At 6'1" and my wife 5'2" our shower needs are quite different. This shower arm solves everything. We have a rain head with a shower handle. The head came off ,attached the new shower arm then reattached the head. Works great. And the separate shower handle was uneffected.
It's a shower arm, you don't need to put that much thought into this purchase, I promise.
March 14, 2015
PROS:-Solid construction-Easy to adjustCONS:-Shorter than you'd think, but nowhere near a deal breakerI got this as an extension for the AKDY 8" rain shower head, it does exactly what it needs to, it's like Inspector Gadget, except only the extendo-arm. I was actually surprised because I was honestly expecting half of it to be plastic, but it was entirely metal, which afirmed my beliefs that I will never have a problem with this thing. The screws tighten nicely, you can put it at whatever position you want easily, not much else to say. Only real downside is that ten inches(probably more likely 9 the way most people have it set up) is really less than you'd think. I'm considering getting a 12"-14" arm to replace this one day. Until then, it does the job well.[04-30-16] EDIT: Still using this same shower arm with the same rain shower head. It still works decent, but if I move the shower head too much, it's pretty much guaranteed to lose its tightened hold. I don't really ever move the shower head though, so it isn't a real problem, just something to take into account when guying this. Still feels solid when I do tighten it though, I don't expect the fasteners to break any time soon.

... prices for many other showerheads and I am very pleased with it
January 11, 2016
We needed a new showerhead in our guest bathroom so I bought this one after comparing reviews & prices for many other showerheads and I am very pleased with it. I also bought an extender arm to go with the showerhead so that taller guests will be able to adjust the height (I recommend this for anyone who has guests taller than 5'10"). The water pressure is great, it looks great and it was much less expensive than many other comparable showerheads. I usually buy name brand products because I feel that they are more reputable, however this showerhead works just as well as the $150 Moen showerheads we installed in our master bathroom a couple years ago. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Worth it.
December 3, 2015
This is a great deal. When I moved, I was sad to leave my $150 shower head behind. That was a quality unit. I saw the good reviews for the WaterBella and thought, "what the heck". Here is my feedback:You really must have an extender, the head really needs to be level, or close to level. I got the 11" extender and that was fine. The head does not provide any additional pressure or massage value. It is just a lot of water pouring out.And when I say a lot of water that is not a bad thing. It is a big area with a lot of water coming out like a very warm downpour (awesome)I saw no problems with quality. The nips are rubber, but they seemed ok. for the price - wow!Installation was super easy. Came with the tape. Only needed a wrench to pull the old head off. Everything else I did by hand. Hand tightening and I had no leaks. How much easier can you get than that?I really have no complaints.
$10? You must be kidding me. Great price for what it is!
November 24, 2015
This price is ridiculous, I don't know why this is going for $10. Production cost is probably more. Very good quality shower head. I ended up with the same one but 4 times larger at $100 but did not bother returning this one due to a very low price.
I was not compensated with money or a shower head for this review. Honestly.
July 14, 2015
OK so first off, I WAS NOT PAID TO WRITE THIS REVIEW NOR DID I GET A FREE SAMPLE!!!!! I bought this with my own money and have had no interaction with the company or amazon in regards to this whatsoever. So many reviewers i see got one for free and posted about it, not that there is something wrong with that, but it does make one wonder.... Anyhow, how does it work? Fantastically, and i'm not kidding. I installed it with the recommended delta arm and its so nice. I did pull out the little black water restriction bit for more flow. This thing pushes like a monsoon! i know that i'm using more water but guess what, hot water comes quicker and my showers are less involved with twists and turns and getting my whole body rinsed off. I am also taking shorter showers because of this. This thing came well packaged and shinyyyyyyy, one of the little nipples is projecting the water stream inwards but who really cares about that, you have to hunt for it to see it (OCD people). It was a breeze to install (just use some plumbers tape when doing so, it did come with some but i didn't trust it and went to Lowes to get some blue hawk stuff). I am a shower guy and always wanted a rain shower head. This does not disappoint, full soakage. All day long. Get u some, seriously, this is well worth the money.
Good product for a good price.
June 20, 2015
fits standard pipe fittings. seals well with plumping tape. I have attached it with an extendor so it provides very nice coverage in the shower without additional splash off.I purchased this product to reduce the cone of water that gets sprayed out the back end of the shower (I have an old style tub with a shower head placed over it) this product works nicely to send the water DOWN. Since I am tall, if I want the water to hit my upper body, I had to point the shower head up, which basically aims it OUT of the tub. Stream is hardy but not harsh; firm but not weak. Very good function. Excellent make doesn't feel cheap.
Modern Looking
May 8, 2015
This is a simple inexpensive renovation for your bathroom. Takes only minutes to install and requires no more knowledge then it takes to screw in a light bulb. Just be sure to wrap the threads with the Teflon tape and tighten. I used pliers it worked fine. If you have any leaks just take the head off and add a little more tape. This is a simple attractive shower head. The rain sensation of the shower head is very soothing and relaxing. I did take the water restrictor out since I wanted full water pressure. No problems rinsing shampoo etc. and I didn't run out of hot water but then I don't linger in the shower, just take care of business and get out. I also purchased the Delta adjustable shower arm that worked fine with this shower head. Very nice purchase! By the way, I paid full price for the product, and wrote the review based on my experience, how do you get one free like most of these reviewers did?? A little annoying to read that, but satisfied with the product.

Used two together - worked out great but requires support
June 21, 2017
Used two of these arms - one for extending height and one to center over shower (like an "L"), with Delta RP50841 (lighter square rain head). Worked out great because of adjustability. No leaks. I would have given these 5 stars, but the wing levers really do not hold position. I addressed this by adding a chrome chain from the wall for support. I'm okay with this because it looks "industrial" and is a temporary fix, but probably not preferred by most.
Useful but I wish it was sturdier
May 8, 2017
It is missing a sturdiness that could lend itself to holding up heavier faucets but it is useful for certain. We acquired a rainfall head and we wanted it to be positioned more towards the middle of the shower. Our shower head though does use a switching valve near the base of the main waterfall piece that will switch the water between the hand held and the overhead. due to the somewhat flimsy nature of this faucet extender it often requires adjustment while in the shower.
Easy to adjust height, extendable, what's not to like.
December 14, 2016
as compulsive movers, a hand held shower that I found on a discount years ago is the first thing that goes in the packing box (ikr? weird strokes for weird folks lol). But for washing pets, cleaning the shower stall, etc, I simply cannot go back to a standard wall/ceiling fixture. The one we have is the best for our needs and is one of the easier installs in the world. It also sits at 45 degrees so the added height is a great feature. In short we would never part with it.In our current home, however, the spout from the wall is way too low - even for this more stand-up contraption. Not an issue for my shorter build, but could not imagine how my taller husband managed. Thing is, he usually never complains about anything, so when he did moan about the low-height-and-hence-ducking, I started my hunt. After other unsuccessful attempts at extensions, the Delta extension fit the bill perfectly.Did I mention, that we also have a water filter attached to the whole thing? The whole damn thing looks like some p* mpd out alien fire sprinkler - lol, but hey, the softer hair, increased pressure, and the aah! moment when you step into the shower; is good dividends.Tip: Don't give up on the first attempt at install, my husband did, and I had no issues with installing and making this work with different parts made by different companies. One star knocked off for leaking at the elbow, (fixed that with a new valve I got from the HW store).
I'd opt for something longer. This is actually shorter by two inches than the one it replaces.

Usual high quality Delta plumbing product. Easy to install and extend my shower head further into the tub center. Some info from the seller.Backed by Delta Faucet's Lifetime Limited WarrantyChromeMounts to wallAdaptable with standard showersAdjustable up and down 18 inchesBrass ConstructionThe Delta 12-Inch Adjustable Shower Arm lets you adjust the height and angle of your standard or raincan shower head, extending it up and out. Whether you're looking for a few inches of added headroom or need to mount a raincan shower head without a ceiling-mount shower arm, this product puts control of your shower experience into your handsFrom the ManufacturerThe Delta brand is focused on being more than a maker of great products: we're using water to transform the way people feel every day. Our products are beautifully engineered inside and out with consumer-inspired innovations like Touch2O Technology, which lets you turn your faucet on and off with just a touch, to In2ition Two-in-One Showers that get water where you need it most using an integrated shower head and hand shower. We’re committed to making technology for faucets, showers, toilets and more feel like magic that makes your busy life a little easier, because we believe there’s a better way to experience water. This does work and it's a quality product so my criticism is more about the function. As it turns out, if you're in the shower and you're not that tall, which my wife isn't, then you can't reach the top portion to actually adjust this. And for me, a tall and pretty strong guy, I found that levers / little metal bars that are used to tighten and loosen the adjustment threads need to be pretty tight for the shower head to stay in the desired position. Not a big deal but when you're trying to loosen it to make an adjustment, it's actually pretty hard to do so if you're planning on adjusting your shower head height and angle per use, you might want to consider these thoughts.
As far as mission objective goes, it does the job.
January 2, 2015
Well it doesn't leak, which was the initial concern for this product. The knobs are small and the short handles hurt when you turn it, so I had to use a washcloth to reposition my Thunderhead shower head to the elevated position. It moved around due to the weight of the showerhead and I had to tighten it with serious effort to get it to stay in place. Then when I wanted to reposition it, a lot of effort (accompanied with some pain) was needed to loosen the knob from it's tight fastened position. Other than that, I feel the picture makes it seem longer than it looks in real life; it actually seems kind of short when you are holding it in your hand. I needed this because my wall pipe is located too low and my showerhead hits me in the face when I go to turn the water off, so as far as mission objective goes, it did the job.
Excellent!!!!

Great product, it allows me to get the water in the best position for me and all the users with out having to turn the actual shower head, I love it and I am now outfitting the other shower with the same product.

Great product for the price.
July 21, 2016
I purchased this product in June 15' for a bathroom remodel. So far I am pretty satisfied with this purchase. It has a great flow and water pressure. The size is great. Larger of a water spray than i was use too so it was nice to be able to have my whole body being sprayed all at the same time. We get compliments on it whenever company uses the shower. It adds a nice look to our modern industrial bathroom. It compliments the rest of the hardware very well. I also purchased an extender arm so that it would come down straight like rain and also a diverter b/c I wanted the option of a hand held as well. The only thing I have noticed is that the holes get clogged easy and will start spraying in all directions or even stop spraying at all. I have found that I just have to reach up there and pinch it and it clears it out. You can feel a slight crunch when you do this which I guess is some sort of buildup from stuff in the water. Another issue is that it is impossible to keep clean. You can expect for it to always have water spots and build up on it. I have tried cleaning it with CLR and then also with vinegar. It just never seems to get as clean as when you first get it. Besides those couple of complaints, I still enjoy the shower head and it looks sleek.
Very high flow, watch out for running out of hot water sooner
March 3, 2016
Works pretty well, but our shower runs out of hot water much faster now. Keep that in mind when buying these types of shower heads. We use to be able to take up to a 20min shower (or two 10 minute showers back to back). That time dropped by about 5 minutes when we switched to this head because of the higher flow.
Fantastic, but High water consumption
January 2, 2016
This makes for a great shower. The only downfall is that if you do not have a tankless hot water tank then you will absolutely empty your hot water tank.My hot water tank is 40 gallons and is emptied in 10 minutes - obviously many variables here such as age and condition of tank - but I would never previously run out of hot water.I plan on buying an inline water consumption reducer to help with this, it would be nice if it was sold with the shower head.
Good value for purchase.
July 12, 2015
Good size, the water pressure could be a bit better but definitely does provide you with a rain fall sensation. It was easy to install with the extendable arm and is easy to adjust up and down. I would advice purchasing the expandable arm that is recommended for this shower head as the shower head may be a bit to big to put directly on the shower connection.
Some hits and misses
June 3, 2015
The rain showerhead is had some hits and misses in my experience using it for the past couple of weeks. I was expecting that this showerhead will be water conserving one, but the flow is very strong (hit), giving me an impression that this definitely is not water conservative (miss). Being in CA, I cannot have a showerhead that is not water conservative. For those reasons, I am taking away 1 star. Also, may return it for the same reason. Wonder if WaterBella has any other versions that are water conservative.Being said that, I also had to mention that my 6 yr old enjoys it more than I do.
Sleek, easy installation
April 27, 2015
Bought this showerhead to replace another showerhead that was mostly plastic and was always getting clogged by lime/calcium deposits. The ability to reduce these deposit after each shower by massaging the rubber nipples was attractive. My wife required a solid metal unit. Only have had it for a couple of weeks so its too early to evaluate this featue. The unit arrived on time, as expected, and was easy to install and is attractive.

Poor job of holding position if shower head is very large or heavy. Despite continued tightening, comes loose at any adjustment. Way over priced for what it does.
Better if had an adjustable connection at supply connection
April 29, 2017
I installed this today and no matter how many times I tried, the arm would always be at a horizontal position for being able to be adjusted. In order to get it in the right position, I had to use a smaller rubber gasket connecting to the main supply pipe. It would have worked much better had the connection had a adjustable connection there as well. I would have given it 5 stars if that would have been the case. I do not know how the thinner gasket will work over time period I am worried that it will leak.
Better then plastic...

It leaks a bit out of one of the joints but its not too bad. Its better then the plastic one that came with my new head came with...
com/dp/B00WO3SRAG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_39) which is pretty heavy for a metal shower head
January 29, 2017
I purchased this to extend my rainfall shower head (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WO3SRAG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_39) which is pretty heavy for a metal shower head. I've had problems with it slipping in the beginning especially when first starting up the shower, so I've tightened both handles several times since I first set it up. So far, it hasn't slipped the past week but we will see how long it holds up. Will update and increase rating if it holds better as time passes.
Works but not great with heavier rain shower heads...
January 6, 2015
This faucet extender looks great and it might be just fine for a smaller shower head... however... it does not support much weight.I put a plastic rain shower head on the end of this extender and it drooped down with both hinges tightened after a few seconds. I then readjusted and tightened the hinges a bit more tighter than I was comfortable with. It holds now, but I am a bit worried about the long term viability of this extender.
This is not a 12 inch extension and restricts flow...
July 4, 2013
I gave it 3 stars because technically it works and it's cheap. You should know that this is not a 12" extension. It is a 9" extension, which is the same length as the Danze D481150 9-Inch Adjustable Shower Arm with High Flow, Chrome which has a larger diameter feed tube (for higher flow) with adjusters that are more sturdy and will work better with heavier shower heads such as the Moen S6320 Velocity Two-Function 8-Inch Diameter Rainshower Showerhead, Chrome which we also purchased here on Amazon. To sum up, the diameter of the tubing used in this product does not match the diameter of the Shower Arm coming out of the wall. It's much narrower and could restrict water flow, which is not something you want if you are using a Rain Shower type shower head. It's also very thin wall construction and flexed quite a bit during installation. It felt to me as though any really hard cranking on it with a wrench would probably bend it. The Danze I linked to above has the same diameter Tubing as our shower arm, so it matches better and in my opinion, is a higher quality product.

A sufficient product for a time.
August 25, 2016
I like it and it has served its purpose but I would have to buy a more expensive product in the future. After several months it's not holding up that well for me.
This thing dumps water.
December 1, 2015
This shower head works great.Lots of water pressure, really poors water over you. So much so that my tub can not drain fast enough.I bought an extension lever and flow control gauge with it, but leaking as become and issue.I only mention that because this shower head doesn't have a head that is hexagonal -- it's round.Because of that it makes getting rid of the leaks to be a major undertaking, that took more than a few attempts.Overall I would buy this again, and when I go to other showers I miss the buckets of water this thing throws on you.
Many Annoyance, Got What I Paid For!
October 3, 2015
I just got mine, I ordered 2 and both were delayed in shipping and took about a week to arrive even though I have Amazon Prime. Anyway, I opened the package with much excitement as I have been looking forward to getting these based on the pictures and the reviews.First impressions, the packaging was top notch, both in individual boxes, protected and covered with a cloth. The end or the part that screws onto the shower arm had a plastic cap screwed into it. I suppose to keep it safe during shipping, great. To remove it, unscrew it. It took me a minute to figure it out as I kept pulling on it but found it unscrewed instead. The second thing I noticed was the arm bar attachment, it swivels which is great and what I wanted.Third, I picked it up and it is super light, I thought it was stainless steel, but it was so light I inspected it closer and appears to be a very shiney plastic. If it is stainless steel, I can't find it. Bummer.Fourth, the female end that screws into the arm was slightly pitted with small black markings like it hadn't been coated enough and it too is plastic.Fifth, the entire unit is very shiny and plastic and light-weight as can be.Sixth it has a screen in the top of the female end to stop debris from entering the until from the spout. That's nice.Overall I like the look, but am so disappointed, as it is all plastic looking and I really can't see it holding up to long. With my disappointments, I am going to give it a fair shot and try it out. I'm hoping for the best, but I did only pay $15.00 each on a lighting deal.I just wish it were really stainless steel. Anyway, I will update my review after my shower and give a full report on how well it does or doesn't work, I'm hoping to be very pleased.Stay tuned, Until Then,Cheers and Vidimo Se!ZaviI installed both of them, both leaked from the threads, it took 5 attempts to get it to fit with plumbers tape so it wouldn't leak. Persistence was key. The unit itself looks great and feels great but some of the nozzles are crooked and shoot the water out the sides instead of straight down. Since it's only a few on two fixtures, it's not really noticeable. It also scratched easily when installing even when using a cloth on the priers. The slightest pressure caused the paint to chip off the threaded end and leave scratch marks. They are visible, but only if you get up and look right at it.Overall I'm not impressed, but for $15 each, I don't expect much. It's not worth sending them back, they are useful even with the many annoyances.I hope this helps others, I also have the ADKY Shower Head from Amazon and at about $35 each, it does't have these issues.Good Luck, Cheers and Vidimo Se!Zavi
Great showerhead
May 28, 2015
Update: i purchased this item in May of 2015 and today is July 2017. The seam at the edge of the head split open and water sprays out making the shower head un-usable. I FEEL like it should last longer than two years. Dropped down to three stars due to it breaking but still retaining three stars because it was a great showerhead for two years. Not sure if i will buy it again and just anticipate buying a new one every two years.Great showerhead puts out a lot of water. We have a curved pipe coming out of the wall in our shower so we got a Delta 10in adjustable shower arm to position this showerhead straight down. The one downside (if you can call it that) is that it puts out so much water. Living in the SW US with drought conditions makes it tough to be ok with so much water flow. I ended up getting an on/off switch that I put on so I can save some water. I also really like that there are little rubber nozzles so when calcium deposits build up from our extremely hard water we can smoosh the rubber nozzles to clear the calcium. The wife and I were looking for a larger than average showerhead but started getting discouraged with prices in stores. This one fits the bill nicely at a very reasonable pricepoint. Also very elegant looking with the mirrored finish stainless steel construction.
Good, not Great
April 7, 2015
Really liked the look of this online and hoped it would be as nice as the reviews claim. Either I got a dud or the quality is not there. You can see in my photos. One of the nozzles squirts sideways. The edge to the shower head is not smooth. There is an indent on the shower head in the metal where the nozzles are. And lastly the corners of the shower head leak out water. Check the photos. I tried to get the photos as best I could, but the chrome finish makes it glare in the photos. I'm going to order another one to see if it's better and if I got a dud. Hopefully, because the shower head puts the water out nicely and it's a full metal body. Will update.
Great Looks, pouring rain... but uses a TON of water
April 3, 2015
Pros: Stylish, Rain effect, even water throughoutCons: Uses A LOT of water.I have a 30 gallon hot water heater, after 10 min I find myself starting to turn up the hot water every few seconds. This shower head uses a lot of water. It's a very stylish and beautiful unit. Works well if you have an unlimited hot water source. The rain effect is there and feels amazing... think pouring rain. If you take showers longer than 10 mins, this unit isn't for you. For that reason, I knocked a few stars down and I am considering going with something else. I like to take long showers occasionally, but it simply uses too much water. My choice of water temperature isn't hot either. Unlike my wife, I don't like it hot and steamy. It just flushes out too much water. Too bad, because this unit is gorgeous!

The tightened constantly comes loose
August 3, 2017
Awful arm, the knob to tighten it constantly comes loose and causes the arm to fall so the shower head faces the wall.im constantly reangling this thing and can't wait to find a better one.
Meh, no. Would not buy again.

Got this with the Rainfall High Pressure 6 shower head. Not sure where the problem is but water pressure was greatly diminished and I removed the "whatever" from the shower head.
Does not work properly
May 29, 2017
Did not fit properly on our shower spout. When properly tightened it was off kilter by about 25 degrees. Making it unusable. Being 6'4" I was really looking forward to raising our shower head. Now I am searching for a new solution.
I would not recommend this shower arm.
March 3, 2016
I have been using this shower arm for about a week and am indifferent. The aesthetics are great and the material is quality including the joints which do not leak. The product falls short in function as the adjustable joints cannot be tightened reliably by hand.If you intend to use this shower arm with a heavy shower head such as a rainfall design, I would suggest that you look elsewhere. As others have pointed out the design of the wing nut tighteners is far from ergonomic. I have pretty incredible finger strength, and I struggle to tighten the joints enough to keep the shower head in place. Additionally, the handles are not comfortable to grasp, which exacerbates the issue. As such, I was required to use a wrench to tighten the base joint more permanently, which renders the adjustability function useless.I am considering returning this item and replacing it with something more satisfactory.
Cheaply Made Thin Pipe That Bends

Delta usually has good quality products. I've installed 2 of their shower heads before with no issues in the past 10+ years. This extension is cheaply made. The pipe flat out bent when I was turning it by hand. Additionally I don't consider myself to be a rather strong guy. I'm not exactly going out and winning any arm wrestling contests. My advice is skip on this product go to your local hardware store, and buy a more sturdy pipe and two connectors.
If your Rain Head is over a pound there is a good chance this will not hold it upright
August 17, 2014
For Smaller shower heads. If your Rain Head is over a pound there is a good chance this will not hold it upright. I have the Culligan C115 RainDIsk Showerhead. It's over a pound and it won't stay up. No matter how hard you tighten it, you have to watch it slowly droop down to vertical. This extension is really 9", but does look nice. It's design, not so much. Poorly implemented wing nut tighteners. If it just had knurled ends to keep from slipping it would work great. So far, I have tried filing the thin edges of the rotating parts to make them rougher and hold better. It worked right up until I ran warm water through it. That was enough to let it begin to fall again. Mostly I tightened it very tightly, with pliers and a bar through the handle for more pressure. Tried a wrench. Tighten it after every movement for best results. I tightened it many times right up to that point where it's about to break. It would still slip if the bar was 45 degrees or more from vertical. That's how you know it's a poor design rather than just not tightening it enough. Pretty disappointing, considering it's just a friction problem. I'm a tinkerer and I will find a solution, but you shouldn't have to go through all this. I'll probably insert some rough edged washers so it will grip. It's hard to believe more people aren't complaining about this. They must have lighter shower heads or not going past 45 degrees.

Rusted within a year
May 2, 2017
Rusted within a year. Here it is 2 years later and I'm buying something else. I live 1/2 mile from the ocean and some things rust, but this is ridiculous. I have some Grohe fixtures in my other bathroom and no rust after 9 years. Otherwise it works pretty well. If you're not near the ocean it may be just fine.

I bought this a couple months ago and not only did i have to buy a new arm and water resister for it (because it doesn't have a water resister), but its already rusting... I really wish this was better quality, but the water seems to kill the metal on this... that shouldn't happen for something that lets water flow through it...Not Worth
I had very high expectations!

So disappointed! I really wanted this to work. It leaks! I even returned it and purchased another, and yep you guessed, it leaked as well. I gave it 2 stars because it is beautiful, and I love water flow. But what a shame. I will return it I guess, and buy a more expensive one. Maybe it won't leak. I mean if it was a small drip I wouldn't care really, but it is a huge leak.
Leaked and Returned
December 2, 2015
I returned my unit because it leaked at the connection joint. I tried with tape and without, but same result. I left the flow resctrictor in, but don't think that should've made a difference. The overall construction was excellent, so I feel like I could've gotten a dud, but this was my 3rd shower head that I'd tried and had to return, that I just gave up and stuck with my old one.FWIW, I had mounted this on a traditional shower arm, not a horizontal one, like pictured. I didn't see how this would make a difference, but if someone wants to explain to me otherwise as a reply here, I will gladly change my rating.
I would pass on this one. In fact, I did.

I returned this item since it has very poor lateral movement. There is a ball and socket and so it rotates a little, but not enough to spray both ends of a bathtub (for example), or to reach the corners of my rectangular shower stall.Instead I bought this: Thunderhead TH2.5 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000PUHVMU?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00). It has a great range of movement and while it's white plastic, it works. (function>form)Since I am tall, I also bought the Pegasus S-Style Extension (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JN9G6KM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00). The two together area great for tall people, but it can be adjusted no matter who is in the shower.See the photo for the final product. PS. If you get the Thunderhead, pull the flow restrictor out before you first install it. After you use it like that, if you later want to conserve water, pull the flow regulator back in.
Looks 10, works 3.

Looks beautiful, but poorly made. Came with two nozzles spraying at an angle (as opposed to straight down) which I was willing to live with. Now, within a couple of weeks of use, at least 10 nozzles are spraying wildly and one doesn't spray at all.

I've screwed these on over 15 times and no matter where I start the threads once tight it's not in the position I need it to be. Since the "nut" doesn't move independently of the arms there's no way to get it straight and tight. See pics.
a waste.

Disappointing. Husband went to install this and the arm bent so it's unusable. He wasn't exerting an unusually large amount of force or otherwise abusing the way it should be used so maybe there was a flaw or a weakness in it? Either way, a waste.

This extension arm will not hold the weight of my 12" rain shower head. There was an old extension arm, similar in look and function, that had been left by the previous owner and it also was not holding up a lighter shower head in there. The old extension arm sprung a leak and sprayed water all over the bathroom. Now that I see this one is basically the same, I'm going to return it.

Have you ever bought something and just scratched ur head? This is one of those products. The end that screws on to your existing shower head nipple is fixed. That means there is no way to easily index this extension in to the proper orientation for your shower head. My scratch your head comment is aimed at whomever designed and manufactured this not once tried to install it.
didn't work for me
May 28, 2014
I am not sure who designed this~you have to turn the whole 'arm' or 'unit' to attach it to your existing pipe. For me, once tight, it ended up sideways. Why wouldn't there be something at the end of it like there is at the end of a hose, where you just turn that onto the pipe?very disappointed.
Pass this one over.

It does what it says mostly. It fits your shower pipe. It swivels and when tightened it will stay in place. The build quality feels cheap since it is mostly plastic. The problem is at the swivel joints the pipe size is cut in half and this limits the amount of water flow to the shower head. It would not wot with a big rainfall head. It could not supply enough water to the shower head to let it function. We bought a much smaller shower head and it had very little pressure also. Ending up just removing this thing. If you are only using a small very basic shower head it may work. Otherwise find a different one.

I absolutely loved it and I would have given it 5 stars
May 12, 2016
I originally purchased the shower head in December 2015 for $9.80. I absolutely loved it and I would have given it 5 stars. However last week (beginning of May 2016) when I turned the shower on I heard a loud pop and water was going everywhere. The seem on the side of the shower had popped open. When I took the shower head off I noticed the screen had rusted and was falling apart, as well as the inside of the shower head.I have contacted the seller to see if they will honor the warranty. **I'll update when... if I hear back from them.**

Worked fine for two months and then split open like a piece of junk...seller offers only a 30 day warranty . Very disappointed
Worked great for 1.5 months and then popped a weld and shot water all over the bathroom.
December 22, 2015
It's a shame. It's an elegant, well-functioning piece of hardware, but after less than 2 months, it suddenly split and the seams and started shooting water out of the sides. My water pressure is good, but it's not THAT strong. We have standard town water, with no salt or other agents beyond chlorine (not even fluoride), but upon closer inspection there were what looked like rust spots on the edges of the shower head. I don't know if that's the sealant/glue coming loose or what, but I can say that it was a really nice showering experience right up until it popped the seam. Buy nice or buy twice. Axiom: Confirmed.UPDATE: I read some of the other one-star reviews, and it seems that the rust issue is pretty common. Some of the reviewers think it's from something inside the shower head. Once I remove it, I'll pop it open and take a look.
Please don't waste your money on this shower head. It is a VERY poor quality piece of hardware.

Please, do not spend your money on this. I bought it in September, and by December it is unusable. Water sprays out the side, where the two halves are joined. Not a little, but a LOT. Most of the water comes out the side. Since I usually shower UNDER the shower head, this is a problem for us. On the plus side, the rubbery water outlets are indeed easily cleaned. The screen filter is completely useless, it collapsed into the shower head.Once again, do not waste your $8.50 on this. You get what you paid for here. If you need a shower head to sell a house and you are going far far away and will never hear from the new owners again, this looks nice for an open house. If you want to turn it on and expect water to come out the bottom, you will be disappointed. You might also get soaked immediately, if it comes out of the side facing you, and remember it's coming out under pressure. It might also get the opposite wall, cabinets, mirrors, clothing, family members, pets, children, the neighbor's house, passing cars and low flying aircraft. On that note, it might make a good practical joke.
Good coverage but poor quality

Cheap plastic version of the 10-inch square rainfall showerhead. Is has a stainless steel finish but is not truly stainless. Also the spray pattern has inconsistency. Some of the nozzles spray water sideways!
