built well, solid construction.
Satisfied Customer

I received my chair yesterday and I am very pleased. All the parts fix perfectly and it was easy to put together. My husband, who is over 230 pounds tested it out and it was very sturdy and stable. I also invited a female friend, who is more than 200 pounds, over this morning to test it out and again it was sturdy and stable. I will report back in 30 days to let you know how my new equipment is holding up.
High quality roman chair

Really nice Roman chair, which does something for you that more than likely you're missing out on the rest of the day. The design of this Roman chair is very nice. It feels solid and does not move around or tilt while in use. It's also very adjustable to accommodate your body type. The design of the pads are well thought-out, since there is a little gap between them in the middle to avoid any discomfort you may get from pressure in this area. It is a little large, so be prepared for it to occupy space wherever you may put it.
Good value

Sturdy and well made. I am a male and it does not "hurt" because there is a split in the middle. I am also using this for situps. Highly recommended.
The assembly instructions were easy to follow and didn't take long to put together

Just as advertised. I use it for sit-ups, lower back, and side crunches. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and didn't take long to put together.
THE PERFECT ROMAN CHAIR
September 19, 2015
I was a bit worried about the sliding center being too weak or wobbly but it is quite sturdy. There is the slightest wobble which tends to cause the whole unit to creep across the floor but that is no problem. There ARE holes provided so you could screw it down into the floor, if you wanted.WHAT I LIKE is that I can make the unit fit me instead of me fitting the machine. On some machines, the round pads will be halfway up your shins or halfway up your calves. With this unite, I can place those pads wherever is most comfortable for me - usually around the Achilles tendon area of the ankles. It's nice to be able to do the exercises while relaxed and comfortable. The base is wide enough that you won't have to worry about tipping it over, either. But, again, there are holes in the floor bars that you could screw it down into the floor which would REALLY give you a tip-free machine.

Good product.
September 28, 2017
Good product...would recommend to anyone. Only thing that could bother some people is I haven't been able to tighten the bolts completely...so it twists a little while working out. But...for the money...it does the job well.

Worth buying. Was a little worried falling back or forward but haven't yet. 5'11-210 pounds

Nice piece of equipment for the $$. I feel safe and secure on it with 240 lbs of weight. Plenty stable and adjustable. Seems like it will last a long time.
Solid, but could use wheels.

Solid. Wish it had wheels to move it around. But solid.

works well, was cumbersome to assemble but the finished product works as advertised
I'm very happy with the purchase overall
November 10, 2015
This is a very light piece of equipment. I haven't had any issues with it rocking. The pads in which your thighs/butt will rest on depending on what you are doing felt a little stiff at first, but after using it on three different occasions now, I feel no discomfort at all. I'm very happy with the purchase overall. I would have given it 5 stars if it was a heavier material and came with a wrench. For the price it is worth it and I Feel confident it will last for years to come.

It's ok. I've had it for a few weeks now. Not sure about durability yet.
Okay for the price.

The product is so so. Nothing to write home about and okay for the price.
So-so
March 7, 2016
I have been using this for about 2 months and thought it was time to review. First off, I am 6 foot 1 inch tall and weigh 200. The machine easily extends to fit me for both abs and back extensions, I use the same extension setting, different foot position. In fact I barely have to extend it at all, so it is almost too big for my 5 foot, 5 inch tall wife. The padding is sturdy, and not what I would call soft. I assume this will extend the life of the padding, but does not help in the comfort when using. I am not saying it is horrible, just that it could be a bit softer for my taste. The metal frame is strong enough to easily support me, but once again, not the best. Once you adjust the machine by pulling out the plunger, you can hand tighten the knob to make it more sturdy. The bad part is you can bend the crap out of the metal if you tighten it too much, learned that the hard way. ...The two sets of foot pads are once again fuctional, but seem to be too far apart. It took me a while to figure out exactly where my feet were comfortable, and still haven't found the sweet spot. So, as with the rest of this review, these too are mediocre.Over all it works for its intended purpose and seems like it will be worth the relatively low cost. In hindsight, I should have paid a bit more for a little better quality unit.
Ahhhh

Mediocre. Moves while you use. In 2 pieces that constantly shift no matter how tight the screws are.

It's great if you want to do sit-ups in it or maybe if you're a small frame person. I tried to do leg curls and that didn't go well. I had to weigh one end down or else it tipped over. I will say it's pretty low cost for what you're getting, so points on value.

Works but some issues.-padding isn't thick enough, had to add folded towel on top of pads.-legs where meet floor need padding. It started to cut into my floors.-area where you put feet wobles.
hip pads not lined up correctly
November 14, 2016
Very sturdy, easy to assemble, very nice addition to work out routine for core exercises. Unfortunately, the pads at the handle bars (part you lay on) are not lined up properly with the predrilled holes /metal threaded inserts. The right pad sticks out forward about an inch and a half further the left. So, when you lay on it and lower your upper body to do the back extension, the right side pad "stabs" you and makes you feel off balance. VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. I looked for a method to contact amazon to see if another pad could be sent out and could not find one. If this was corrected, I would give it 5 stars. Trying to see if I can "fix" it, but due to the particle board, it may just disintegrate.

Came as described but as others have mentioned it's mediocre. The foot rest that you would normal press on to keep stable is weak and wooblys. The foot padding is too far apart for me (5'6" - 140lb - female), I don't feel secure for sit ups or glute/back developer. I feel secure that it can hold me up but the foot securement needs to be redeveloped. For the price, I guess you get what you pay for. Hopefully I can find someone to weld the foot rest in place and possibly larger pads for the foot area.

I broke the pads already when I added weight. The wood or whatever snapped under the pad.

Unsafe at any speed

Total Garbage! Looks like it was welded by a baby on Meth. The base is uneven by 2 inches. Would be fine if I had ordered a Teeter-Totter. Don't waste your money or risk your life getting on one of these
Very unsturdy and then terrible customer service from CAP

Very unsturdy and then terrible customer service from CAP. None of the metal pieces made contact and the whole thing was wobbly. It would've needed to be welded together to be safe. Piece of junk. Don't waste your money or your time.
UNSTABLE
February 25, 2016
The two major pieces are secured by a flimsy hand-tightened screw. No matter how you do it, the individual bases move toward each other and then apart when exercising. There are holes in the bases so you can bolt it to the floor. Who does that?? The manufacturer was either too cheap or too dumb to create a more stable apparatus. Either way, as a consumer, I recommend you avoid this product.

I purchased this a few months back as a gift. Only got around to opening the box this month with the person for the gift was intended. The chair itself is sturdy, yet the metal pieces arrived without predrilled holes for the hardware. So now, we're forced to drill all of the holes ourselves to make the equipment functional.

I was so excited to purchase this for my home gym, but once I have put it together, nothing but a headache! The screws are to long for the lock bolts and leaves everything super loose, I had to purchase extra washers just to make them fit securely. On top of that, the pieces do not fit tight enough, even with extra washers and all bolts as tight as can be, the equipment is super wobbly. Also a note before you buy- this has to be screwed into the floor, or put extra heavy weights on top so you don't fall over. So disappointed

It's too wobbly even after tightening everything. The front height is not adjustable, and is too high for my comfort.
