Not at all the nightmare I was expecting from reviews.
November 25, 2015
This tablet has a lot of really negative reviews, but my experience has been 100% positive. I am a college student and use this computer to get my school work done. It does have some quirks but are easy enough to work around. The battery life has been great after the first charge. Computer came in great condition-- no scratches, scuffs or obvious signs of wear. It looked completely new out of package, the only thing that gave away that it was refurbished is that it doesn't come in original packaging or with a user manual. Office isn't offered free with the purchase of a refurbished Transformer T100, so if that is a huge factor in whether or not you buy this product, look elsewhere. I have heard people say that when the tablet goes to sleep, it has trouble waking up. I just turned off the sleep option entirely and when I am not using it, I just shut it down. No big deal because it boots up in mere seconds. Keyboard is a little weird at first, but very sturdy and once you get used to it, you don't even notice how small it is. It does match the 10.1" screen in size, so what can you expect?I love this computer and am so glad I took a chance on it, especially at this price. It is small, light (not too light, it's not flimsy) and other than being a fingerprint magnet, I have no complaints whatsoever. ( :

Great little product for on the go, completely self sufficient, unlike relying on windows that has itunes to support an ipad
I love my ASUS
September 2, 2015
I love my ASUS. This is my second one after I dropped and broke my first one. I would only ever consider getting another of these tablets or one very similar with a real keyboard and fully detachable screen. It's so easy to use in both tablet and laptop mode.
This is a good cross between a small laptop and a tablet
August 31, 2015
This is a good cross between a small laptop and a tablet.I upgraded immediately to Windows 10 as this machine comes with Windows 8.1. The upgrade went smoothly and it didn't take particularly long.It operates perfectly with the new system.the ability to shift back and forth males this avery versatile machine. Most of the hiccups I have experienced have been a function of Windows 10, not the ASUS Transformer. The only downside is (like my other ASUS tablet) the touch screen has some spots that do not react well to touch and have to be tapped a number of times. Otherwise a great machine and well worth themoney.

Perfect & Portable
August 24, 2015
This Asus laptop is perfect for students or as a take along computer. At under $300.00 some reviews posted here expect everything that $750.00+ have. That is way to much to expect for the price. However it accomplishes all the tasks I want from a portable laptop. I have no need for an optical drive. The only negative for this laptop is the touchpad. Not what I am use too. I am more comfortable using a mouse so a wireless works well. Only one each of usb 2.0 and 3.0. I have a portable cooler which has extra usb 2.0 ports so it is not an issue for me. As stated in many other reviews this laptop is designed for affordable portability/student use. If you want a laptop with multi usb's, high quality optical drive, outsanding gaming ability then look to pay for it. After all if you have a home system built for serious gaming and computing power costing thousands...why would you even expect a laptop costing a few hundred to evan come close? My total investment for laptop, cooling pad/stand, wireless mouse, portable back up drive, and carrying case is under $400.00. Should it get lost, stolen, or beat up I'm not out much money. If the touchpad is a prime concern there are plenty more laptops on the market. Do your research and do not buy one because it looks good. Excellent product Asus!
VERY good laptop for everyday work.
June 6, 2015
I have read a lot of negative reviews about this laptop here and all I can say is that either computer illiterate people are buying these or people are not reading the specs before ordering. This laptop is just as I ordered. It is a VERY NICE laptop. Setup took about a half an hour. It was very simple. I ordered this laptop KNOWING that it did NOT come with a optical drive. Seeing as though external drives are cheap enough that did not bother me a bit. My first Windows update took about 2 hours (NO big deal) and went smoothly. I got the Windows 10 update icon on the taskbar and reserved my FREE update. So far (3 days) the laptop is running great. It only took about 2 days to get used to Windows 8.1 (I'm used to Windows 7 and Linux Mint), it's not that bad to figure out and learn. There is not that much bloatware on this machine and it took only a few minutes to uninstall what I didn't want. Go through the settings and configure the machine the way you want, it's very easy. The laptop is very quiet. I installed a Staples 4 port USB hub and added a wireless mouse with no problems at all. Plug & play. I installed Firefox as I HATE I.E. and imported my bookmarks with zero problems. I can recommend this laptop without hesitation. It works great. If you're looking for a high end laptop this is NOT for you. Do your homework and stop complaining because you didn't do any research. READ ALL INFORMATION before you order ANY product so you know what you will get. If you have questions about the NON optical drive version of this laptop just ask me.
Can't complain... except about Windows 8. I can complain about that. Free Windows 10 coming soon. Computer is perfect otherwise.
June 3, 2015
Very happy so far. I am really looking forward to the free windows 10 download at the end of June. For a great travel laptop and/or "throw away laptop" this is perfect. If you are one who surfs the internet, does email, Microsoft office and even photo editing. This is it. It will even run Real Flight without issues. CAN NOT beat it for the price. I am just happy that I can get a laptop that suites me and get it for a respectable price. If you are not editing 5 videos at the same time while running a 3D game and running some other heavy processor using program then you don't need a $1500 iMac Book Air Mini pro or a $4000 Alien ware with retina scanner and DNA processor.

I love this laptop. It runs games like league, world of warcraft, and casual MMOs fluently with no lag whatsoever on decent specs. Great laptop, I would definitely buy again.
ASUS support is misleading but the machine is excellent
February 28, 2015
The notebook is absolutely perfect and fast enough for light (student) use however in the question and answer section someone from ASUS was posting a misleading information about this particular laptop, this machine doesn't have CD/DVD player but the representative from ASUS was telling people it comes with one. That is ASUS fault not the sellers since they didn't post it as if it's equipped with one.

Well...if you want a quick Windows two-in-one for typing, web-browsong and the occasional movie...look no further...but you won't get too much lower out of this thing! It runs Windows 10 okay enough, but the OS doesn't auto switch between tablet and laptop mode when changing the device like-so. Other than that...no complaints! It is light, easy to carry and useful for my blogging and update-checking purposes
Think Tablet NOT Computer
November 21, 2015
Had trouble with the first one and exchanged it. Had more trouble with the second one and had to send it for service. The problem was corrected. I like the small size and that I can use it as a laptop or tablet. It meets my needs for graduate school portability and online course access. Buyers should think TABLET not computer. Get an extended warranty, insurance, service to go with it. Overall, I am very happy with what I got for what I spent.

Good for anybody who's traveling a lot and doesn't want a plain old tablet.
June 7, 2015
This is a good 2 in 1 tablet for just about anybody who doesn't plan on doing much other than schoolwork, or for business. It has a processor that works good enough to use most programs, but I wouldn't recommend it at all for gaming. I wanted one for two reasons: 1). I do photography often and I find that a mouse and keyboard don't work well for higher level editing, and a touch screen helps immensely. And 2). I am writing a book and wanted a portable tablet that I could bring wherever I go. It works very well for that; the battery life lets you use it a long time without having to plug it in, and the keyboard is good enough to write (although not ideal). The good:-Long battery life-Very portable-Good enough processor for small-time things-High quality display (although not very bright)The bad:-While the speakers are good, they are also placed on the back of the screen which can be annoying sometimes.-Touch pad is not all that good-No SDXC or SDHC memory card slot. Only accepts micro SD, which will not fit into cameras. You have to buy a converter if you want to directly edit pictures from a camera.-Like I said earlier, the screen isn't very bright. It's very difficult to use on sunny days.-These are manufacturer refurbished models, so they don't actually come with microsoft office free. The ugly:-The hard drive space IS NOT 32GB. It is actually closer to 20, and you have to do some serious space management in order to use this as an actual computer. I highly recommend getting the 64GB option which is also on Amazon for a little more money.Bottom line:This is a very good option for the on-the-go laptop user. It has a long battery life and is very light (2lbs), which makes it easy to work on projects while traveling. It won't be a replacement for your desktop PC, as its processor is sub-par compared to most PCs. You would expect lower quality coming from a $200 tablet, but this thing really does work well as a laptop/netbook. Anybody who doesn't plan on doing any CPU eaters (gaming, graphics processing, etc.) should consider buying this if they really need something small and compact while traveling.

No Optical Drive
February 8, 2016
Bought this as a gift for my cousin. From the pictures, I thought that it had an optical drive (CD drive) but I realized too late that it didn't. I am okay with it but I don't know if my cousin will be. It is very deceiving when there is a plastic shaped cutout where the drive should be.It is lightweight, which is a definite plus, and it is Windows 10 compatible (which I did the upgrade as soon as I could).Another con is that it doesn't come with all the other updates that Windows says is important. I had to spend a day or so updating before upgrading to Windows 10.
Great for basic computing! :)
January 1, 2016
I bought two of these for my older kids, as Christmas gifts. The 4GB of RAM is the bare minimum for Minecraft. For those whom are used to 8GB or 16GB of RAM, there is an obvious difference in speed. However... it's for children. I don't care if it takes a little longer. They are primarily on youtube or playing games, doing homework, blah blah. The laptops are very large, and very light. I love this feature. It makes it easy to put in the backpack so they can take it anywhere. It has an amazing battery life. The keyboard is sleek and easy to use. I hate the trackpad, however I hate all trackpads. The kids don't mind it one bit.overall, it's a great laptop for basic computing. Homework, web browsing, some gaming. I would not purchase this laptop if you intend on doing heavy processing work like sql work, visual studio, or require a lot of memory for excel. This would break. :)
Decent laptop for the price.
November 14, 2015
Pros:+Runs a surprising number of games, though it struggles. (Tested with Skyrim, Guild Wars 2, Life is Strange, BioShock Infinite, and Fallout: New Vegas)+Decent screen: 1366*768+HDMI and 15-pin connectors+Great for dual booting Linux+1 USB 3.0 portCons:-No discrete graphics card. The integrated GPU is terrible, with no upgradeability-Only 4GB of shared RAM-touchpad is terrible. Buy a USB mouse.-my unit's keyboard is warped.I recommend this computer for school, work, and light gaming.
Great choice for the $200-$300 price range.
August 26, 2015
Nice upgrade from my previous good-for-nothing Toshiba Satellite C55. It's decently priced, and is pretty much everything the previous laptop should have been. It handles multi-tasking acceptably, has decent speakers, charges pretty quickly (and has a well-designed charger), and stays cool. If it were a little faster and the battery lasted a little longer, it would have gotten 5 stars. It lacks some "creature comforts" - could use another USB port, a better design for the charge port, a touchpad with more defined click buttons, and some indicator lights for Num Lock and Caps Lock. The keyboard is good for typing, but the laptop surfaces will take fingerprints. An interesting feature of this laptop is that it will go to sleep at a greater screen angle than others I've used (screen goes black sooner when you start closing the laptop).
In the End the Value Trumps the Negatives
August 20, 2015
For starters, this review is being made with 1 weeks worth of ownership time. This laptop was purchased purely with value in mind. I have a desktop already, but I was in the market for something mobile with a Windows OS that would get me through classes. Overall I can honestly say, for a brand new laptop, its pretty good bang for you buck. This does not mean it is not without any flaws, but rather you must accept the shortcuts taken when in this low-end market. While not blazing fast, and in no way truly comparable to an i series chip...this little guy is still an Intel and can handle all your general processes just fine. Yes it can handle some light multitasking without any real hiccups. Yes it can handle Photoshop and light Illustrator just fine. NO you will not be rendering and editing resource intensive videos on this. Yes you can even do some light gaming (minecraft and anything else it meets the requirements for), but you really shouldn't be having extended sessions of it. Its simply not made for it (in terms of cooling and the longevity of the processor). All in all, it gets the job done as long as you understand what your getting, and if you can somehow add a SSD you should get a pretty nice little boost in performance.- ValueThis really is probably the best only thing worth truly noting about this laptop. I bought it for $240, and for that price It boasts so pretty decent specs that are going to handle you day-to-day tasks without a problem.CONS- Hard DriveIn its defense half a TB is a solid amount of storage, and its boot time out the box really isn't unbearable by any means. That said, the 5400 RPM rate was still just far too slow for me. It's probably because I'm so used to my desktop solid states. Regardless, I had to swap it out and put in a SSD.- Lack of portsDoes offer HDMI and a single USB3.0 port. Still only 2 USB ports total and only a 10/100 Lan connection.- No optical driveReally, this wasn't a big deal for me as I have an external drive if I absolutely need it. But, how often do the majority of us really use discs these days anyway.- Nothing is removableI mean absolutely nothing. If you want to replace something, which would likely be the HDD or battery, you have to completely unscrew the bottom and pry the top cover/keyboard off, which is actually fairly difficult. (see photo)- No keyboard lightsMore of a nuance, but other than actually seeing what is being typed, there is no visible indication light for Caps/Num Lock.Somehow all these cons are bearable when you keep the value in mind!
Great machine for the price, buy it for what it not what it's not.
May 27, 2015
Bought this machine for what it is, an economy machine I can afford to loose or give away if needed. It has a super bright quality 15 inch display and does a satisfactory job, it has an older traditional 5400 rpm drive and that can make it slower. No Bluetooth, no DVD and only one of the three USB ports is 3.0. But it has HDMI out and a card reader. It is heavy and the case is cheap plastic. But for the price this is a great starter machine for school or a great gift. The price out weighs all the negatives.

One big problem out the box.
June 1, 2017
This is my second Transformer Book. Has had a problem with the start button or it could have been the "start" process but could not get the ASUS Transformer Book to turn on. My first one started to have this problem after I down loaded all my information. So I did not want to return it but found if I drained the battery (not easy) then plugged it in, I got it up and running. It has done well afterward.Thinking that was a one time thing, I got one for my mother. Same thing happened - out the box. Never got it up and just retuned it.
Not many functions work.

Not a bad 2 in 1 tablet although, since it is refurbished it didn't come with a charger, I cannot adjust most main setting such as; screen brightness, connectivity control, Bluetooth, cannot access the store app. Note pad is useable and internet works fine.

Great Gadget vs. Technical Troubles
January 19, 2016
Broke down on me twice. While customer service has been very kind and the warranty covered both issues, I would prefer to not have to contantly send my PC's in for maintenance. Technical issues aside, it is a very interesting laptop/tablet (Tabtop? Laplet?) It is extraordinarily easy to connect to WiFi with this thing. I've even connected to my wireless printer without any setup as well. The tablet feature is very impressive and it was nice to have the option of reading books in bed through the Kindle app on Chrome with this. I would recommend it even though it didn't work out for me. Just be aware you may need to send it in for repairs. I ended up giving it to my cousin for Christmas and getting a desktop PC for myself.

Not a great product, but nice to have handy on travel
December 30, 2016
It IS SLOOOOWW. I'm not sure what all the problem is, it could be the 1GB RAM may not be enough. I have to check if I can double that.. Anyway, this is a waste of money. My cell phone browses the web faster..I started writing this review about a month go. As I used it, I found out several features that are bizarre; Example: As I type, the touch pad interferes and the cursor jumps out of control. Usually, there is a simple "Disable touch pad while typing"feature, but this one does not have that. There is however a FUNCTION key that can disable/enable the touchpad, ,but that's crazy. You will be toggling this key hundreds of times as you write something. Also, without any basic Office products installed, this notebook is actually pretty useless. Its good for browsing, photos, music/video, but not for work. I used to use free office tools on Google, but you have to be connected to the internet for that.And,.., here's the BIG one: its now dead: WON"T POWER UP. I had to call the tech support and they suggested that I hold down the Power button for upto 1 minute; It powered up about 15 seconds later. So, the unit is up and running fine now.I don't know why the unit would not power up. but, its good to know it has a simple recovery feature.Just hold the power switch down for upto 1 minute.Better get a nice Laptop that is all solid state, about 16032GB Solid state Hard drive, 2-4 G RAM and Office 365 Pre-Installed for 1 Year. Best Buy has those deals. If you really need a huge hard drive, and just a conventional laptop, there are several on the stores now for under $300.If you need a 2 in 1, touch pad, Laptop, price gets up to the $1500 pretty quick.Overall, I would not buy this ASUS Transformer book. .WASTE OF MONEY and TIME
Black screen wtf
September 2, 2016
Worked well for the first 2 months or so, however it soon would only turn on if the charger was connected. After a few weeks, when I turned on the laptop, the screen would power on showing the ASUS logo then a black screen! It was never dropped and is used primarily for blogging and Skype, so I don't understand how this laptop would defect in this manor.

Mouse button design wrecks an otherwise good laptop
May 1, 2017
I have owned two previous ASUS computers that I have loved. My previous ASUS laptop was an excellent machine; I have it still.I purchased the Asus X551MAV-EB01-B(S)... and it has a HUGE design defect. The left and right mouse buttons on are poorly engineered to the point that they render the laptop frustrating and slow to use. It was like this from the get go, out of the box. The mouse buttons are joined in one long button. In pushing one side you can inadvertantly engage the other. I HATE this design. Please ASUS go back to the previous mouse button design. An otherwise good laptop is wrecked by this handicaping fault. Think of how much you use your mouse.I will no longer buy an ASUS laptop sight unseen because of this design defect. I will look at a new ASUS laptop in a physical store first to determine if the defect is fixed.
based on these early hardware issues I didn't feel comfortable the laptop would last for a decent life cycle ...
January 19, 2016
After reading the reviews on this product, I thought it would be a solid choice for it's intended use, really light office use (By really light, I mean on for less than an hour a day, mainly for presentations via Chrome Cast and light internet use.). My purchase was made on Cyber Monday, 2015.After unboxing this laptop, I noticed that it's construction seemed flimsy, but that's to be expected with a lower tier laptop. Performance on the laptop when in use was a bit slower than what I'm typically used to, but again, a lower tier laptop, that's expected. What wasn't expected, however, was the troubles we started to receive the next day powering the laptop on. It appears that the way the power button is constructed, you have to mash it until it eventually turns on. This wasn't an isolated incident, and came back as a complaint from myself and my staff frequently over it's course of use these past two weeks. Another issue was the display, which appears to be reiterated by a couple of other reviewers. It would flicker on and off , colors would change, and sometimes, it would shut off completely for 30+ seconds.Ultimately, based on these early hardware issues I didn't feel comfortable the laptop would last for a decent life cycle (At this rate, 6 months felt like a stretch).I'm giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because it could have been an isolated incident with my model, and the speed / build quality were expected to be lack luster due to it's price point.
Terrific, cool, quiet, effective computer but beware a bundled software pack!!!! Here's what to do....
December 13, 2015
The computer is both a workhorse and fun to use. ASUS laptops are all reasonably priced, serviceable, and this one has a good sturdy case, ease of use, crisp screen. You cannot do better for the price I'm however giving this computer two stars, to send up a flare. ASUS is dangerously unwise in its choice of software partners. I want to warn you about that bundled software, and explain what to do with it.Freed of it, this is one great computer.First, any ASUS computer comes bundled with McAfee, yet always works far faster and cleaner if McAfee is removed and Malwarebytes plus your favorite anti-virus software is substituted. Because of new bundled software, ByteFence, this one arrived almost as a coaster. I eventually spotted it and figured out the fix. My notes....First day: Rugged little laptop, good screen. Something's wrong, the bundled software a usual. Laggy as heck. The laptop will not allow downloads, whether I use IE or Chrome. I cannot switch to Firefox or use Malwarebytes or Advanced Uninstaller because I cannot download. ASUS advertises free Windows 10 update on this version. Cannot download Windows 10 either.Purportedly the computer needs 175 software updates! A new "anti-malware" program, BytesFence, is moreover acting strangely. Suspect strongly that ByteFence software is the source of all the problems.I'll dig it out and see...UPDATE: I removed ByteFence. (Decided not to simply uninstall Bytefence from the computer's own Control Panel, since pieces can be left, but that would have worked. Came in from a thumb drive with Advanced Uninstaller.) Advanced Uninstaller got it. Installed Malwarebytes which found 13 PUPS. Where did they come from? With ByteFence out, the computer is suddenly running fast and smooth. I can download. Great little laptop, really like it.Cannot however download Windows 10!Removed McAfee, substituting AVG....Windows 10 now downloading smooth as glass. [Did a custom not express install on Windows 10. Otherwise Windows will collect all personal information and use it for ads, broadcast it to everybody. Good upgrade though]IN SHORT: Terrific computer for the money. Beware though the software bundle!!!! Remove McAfee and ByteFence either through the control panel [Uninstall Program] or with Advanced Uninstaller, which is freeware, Substitute Malwarebytes free trial and AVG freeware. Computer now really cooks.
Basic and Cheap but SLOW, Keyboard Sucks, No CD Drive, and too much Microsoft login crap
September 11, 2015
For the price, you get a laptop that will get you connected to the internet. It comes with Windows 8, which basically makes it the worst computer out there to deal with. If you buy this, immediately upgrade to Windows 10.Pros:Not expensive, good sized HD, big screen, does basic comp work.Cons:To work, you must set up a microsoft account for basic functions. Don't expect Word on here...only a trial of the cloud based OFFICE, which once again, you have to make a microsoft account for. Want to search online? Too bad, the Explorer web browser is horrible. Get anything else downloaded asap. Next is the keyboard. If you type well, or quickly, you will find yourself yelling at this laptop. It cannot keep up with your typing speed, and many times, the key does not register the letter you are typing. You will find yourself having to backspace a ton. Lastly, it's so slow. I can't figure out how a brand new computer can already be as slow as a computer that is bogged down with years of saved crap. Opening up programs (which are already on the computer new) or files from a flash drive (since you DONT GET a cd drive) takes a crazy long time. So, in conclusion, if you are on a budget, or if you need a burner laptop for general use, I guess you can get this. But if you need a laptop for actual work, or school, I would NOT buy this. I almost feel like this is something you would find at Toys R Us.

Sent this back even before I got a recommendation for another brand. For me, Windows 8 is a nightmare, a nightmare I could have lived with, however, the unit was slower than expected, the battery life short, the number of ports, fighting with it to have it pickup my in home WIFI all had it back in the box waiting for pickup (thank goodness for Amazon returns). One reviewer mentioned the impracticality of the AC plug being attached to the transformer. Agreed. On a typical power strip it takes up 3 sockets worth of space. The 2nd star is simply for benefit of the doubt, as I do not believe my experience matches the dissatisfaction level of the other 1 star reviews, neither did I have the unit long enough to have experienced many of the issues there.See my review on the Dell (yes, I said Dell)I got after consulting someone I should have consulted in the first place.

The laptop turned on and worked fine the day I got it. Put it back in box and a few days later when I tried to use it would not turn on. Have not been able to get it to turn on since. Didn't realize that it only had a 30 day return policy. Had a few people look at it and they all didn't have any idea how to get it working. By then it was too late to return it. Very disappointeddid not think I would get a defective product from using this site to purchase a laptop. Will just have to do without until I can save for a new one from a reputable local store.
Would not recommend..

After just a few weeks it started to refuse to turn on after being charged and pressing the power button. Sometimes it wouldn't register being charged and would take a day to fully charge. This tablet has many issues. Even with facebook games it would see complete slow downs. No wonder why they aren't offering this product anymore. The camera wouldn't be recognized by skype and could not send video from it during a call. Would not recommend....
Wont turn on

I purchased this for my daughter for Christmas. She used it until the battery ran down, tried to recharge it and the screen will not come back on. Now I can't return it because it's been in a box under the Christmas tree for more than 30 days. I want make this mistake again!!!! I'll go to Best Buy next time!

This is the ABSOLUTE WORST computer I have ever had the misfortune of buying. I got it for my wife and I have never been more ashamed. It's slow and came with a ton of bloatware, takes forever to boot, the casing is made of flimsy plastic that bends when you hold it, and the keyboard clacks and rattles when typed on. The whole laptop just screams of poor quality. After contacting ASUS' terrible troubleshooting customer service-they literally told me to turn it off and on again, and then accidentally sent me solutions to some other poor person's problem- I did a factory reset. It got rid of all the bloatware, but it's still excruciatingly slow for a modern day computer and now for some reason it is the only device in the entire household that can't connect to the internet.Save yourself some time and money and DO NOT GET THIS AWFUL COMPUTER.
Don't purchase!

I've had the laptop for 1 month and it has stopped working. Screen is frozen and can't get it to turn on properly or get past the start up screen.
Feeling cheated

my laptop has stopped working after one month and 20 days of purchasing it. It seems to be out of the return policy at about 20 days behind. There seems to be nothing i can do to return my product and this to me is unfair. Its hard to pay for a product and you can't seem to get it to work after such a short life span. Anyone has any ideas????
Stopped working at four months
November 22, 2015
I purchased this item in August as I had an immediate need for a laptop. I since gave it to my son to use for his schoolwork at home. All seemed fine until one day it just stopped working. It won't power on, nothing. I have tried to figure out how to access ASUS support by going to their website but that seems impossible. I guess I bought a crappy notebook. It was too good to be true but I expected it would last at least a year or two and not just four months. Based on my experience this item is not worth it.

I would always recommend this laptop, however I bought this about 5 months ago, and it officially broke. I never move my laptop, it's always in the same place and I take good care of it. After 5 months, it had issues staying on, and eventually died. Motherboard was fried, couldn't even power on. Had to spend $500 on a desktop. If you're going to buy a laptop, do NOT get this one. Regardless of the reviews, it's not as good as they say. It's a slow computer in general, watching videos will lag (don't say because of internet speed or browser speed, it still lags regardless)Try To avoid laptops in general, but if you are getting one, do NOT get this one.
