Side by Side Comparison of: Dr. Price's Vitamins vs Celtic Sea Salt

My family is always on the run and being in the Florida heat sweating up a storm, electrolytes are a NEED. I hate Gatorade and the idea of giving my kiddos all that sugar. We keep these and Emergen-C lemon lime packets on hand for variety ..the kiddos love it and mom can feel good about giving them a better alternative to Gatorade sugar water. Being sweetened with stevia instead of sucralose is what sold me the most on these.

I bought this flavor and the lime. This is way better in my opinion. Tastes great, really sweet, so I used about 32 oz of water or more per packet. Felt really good while sweating out in the sun for a few days and loosing lots of electrolytes. I recommend this for replenishment. Healthy ingredients too.

I really like this flavor. It's very refreshing and I could really tell a difference when I started taking them. I feel more hydrated in general. When I take these on hot days I'm not affected by the heat with headaches and exhaustion. I keep these handy all the time and take at least one a day!

Had been a product my husband uses for work that requires alot of water intake so he needs high electrolyte replacement without sugar. And this fits that requirement. The electrolytes in this small pack are more than adequate and the flavors offered are tastey per my husband.

I work out in the hot, humid climate of hawaii 8 hours a day and I sweat like crazy. I hate to drink sports drinks because they are full of sugar and possess lil minerals but that's the only way I could replace my electrolytes. I've tried many many different electrolyte replacements over the years but they either made the water taste bad, had creepy ingredients in them like maltodextrin and contained little to no potassium in them. Which help balance sodium levels. This product is full of good flavor, packed with electrolyte mineral and throughout my 15 years of carpentery I appreciate a product that prevents my muscles from cramping while walking on trusses.

It's a perfect amount of sweet, and yummy for my whole family. My son is outside a lot and gets overheated easily. He loves these electrolytes and my husband and I do as well. Also added bonus I ordered the night before and they arrived next afternoon free with my Prime membership.

I like the electrolyte mix. However, I can taste the stevia. It would be nice if the product could just be made without any sweeteners and just real (not msg or GMO of course) natural flavoring or none at all. But I guess the sweet taste is what most people like.

So these were ok. I had been using Sustain (another hydration powder) for quite some time so I am comparing the two. I like both but I give the edge on taste to Sustain. I did seem to have good endurance with this formula though and that is really important! Wish they had a sampler box so I could try other favors without having to buy a large supply. I will, of course, use up the box - if the flavor grows on me more, I will amend my review!

Less calories than a sports drink and only tastes a little worse

I have not noticed much of a difference in my hydration whenever I use these packets. The flavor is not terrible but you could definitely tell that it has fake sugar in it to create the zero calories.

I ordered this for my Dad who tends to get dehydrated. It seems do do the job of keeping him hydrated but he doesn't like the taste.

Good flavor-not salty tasting like others.

I think the product is good but sadly the first packet I pulled from the box was a ghost packet and was completely empty. I hope it was an anomaly.

When I opened each package, the powder was so moist I could not get it out without using my finger. Bits then went on the floor. It was a sticky mess.

The contents of the packets wasn't little sand-like granules as expected but more stuck together as though it had been sitting around quite a while. I will likely buy directly from Dr. Price in the future so I know the product is fresh.

The product was great, but the condition of the packets we received were clumpy as if water entered into the individual packets. The stuff works, just need to make sure it's not some old batch that got wet.

The product in the package clumped and you have to smash it before opening to get crystals. Taste is not as good as other products I've tried.

Doesn't taste very good; has a very saline/salt type of taste to it.

I purchased this drink mix to help with dehydration when I work out or play golf. While I think it works, the powder is congealed in the packet and it does not fizz. I plan to finish the box but probably won't buy again.

I like this product as it tastes good and is the only option I can find on the market that is compatible with my keto diet after Emergen-C changed their Electro Mix product to have 3g carbs per packet.However, after ordering it regularly at $15.99, imagine my shock when I go to reorder it last week to find the price has jumped by more than 30% to $21. No change in the product formulation, and no increase in the amount you get in a box. That changes the per packet price from an already high 53 cents a packet to 70 cents. As much as I would like to continue using the product, I can't afford to do so because I can't justify spending 70 cents per packet when I can buy an 11oz container of lite salt for less than $3 at my local grocery store that lasts for weeks. And yes, they are functionally identical with the lite salt having slightly more sodium compared to this, which you need more of anyways on a low carb, high fat diet.

The flavor is terrible. Did the inventor taste other powdered sports drinks and think that awful taste would differentiate their offering?

Sorry but I just had surgery and purchased this for that reason. I could hardly stomach it. Maybe it was a personal taste but for me it was nasty. I kept trying it, thinking I would soon get used to it and when I had the last bottle sitting on my counter and I kept walking by it, knowing I should take a drink - I couldn't and finally tossed it.
