Just get it...The price is perfect!
February 25, 2017
Excellent product...Seems worth more than the price paid. Arrived early in excellent condition. Easy to install and works like a charm. Definitely 4:3 scale but does an amazing job when it comes to clarity of image. So much better than a white wall. Very much worth the electrical up/down. Slow and a tad noisy, but it is hardly worth mentioning. Well done!
Awesome screen!

Awesome product for a great price. Functions just as advertised and looks great.
Just pulled it out the box a year later.
December 10, 2015
We actually just purchased the projector on Black Friday so even though I ordered this a year ago, I hadn't pulled it out the box. It is amazing product for the price. It is 78 inches across and because of the size of our living room, we can't pull it all the way down but we do have it pulled down about 60 inches. My husband loves this, who needs a 70 inch tv when you have this? It's very durable and comes with a remote to make it go up and down. If you lose the remote there is also a remote on the wire. I have absolutely no complaints on this product.
Best 60 bucks ever spent!
September 6, 2015
Best 60.00 we ever spent! It arrived with a small crease in the metal but it's hardly noticeable and doesn't interfere with its rising and dropping.Tip-( If using outdoors) We used 2 15 lb weights tied to twine to keep it from swaying when it's windy.
Works great and highly recommend

As described. Works great and highly recommend ! Built a casing around
This is a fantastic bargain
February 12, 2014
I read all the Amazon reviews for this screen before placing my order, because I could not believe the price. Since most reviews were positive, I bought the product. It was easy to install and works perfectly. The screen itself is brilliant white and reflects the projected images beautifully. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a first class projection screen at a very low price.

Would definitely recommend.

This screen is great. It arrived in perfect condition. It is shipped in a box inside a box with styrofoam dividers to stabilize it. The shipping company appears to have treated it very well en route, which isn't always the case. It was very easy to hang from my ceiling using a couple of 50lb spring hooks. The pull & retract mechanism works very well. It doesn't pull it up too fast and is easy to use. It did have a slight bit of that plastic chemical smell that others have mentioned, but it went away after about a week. At least to the point where it is no longer noticeable. The screen had no creases or curl ups, not even the edges. The picture on it is fantastic with my 3200 lumen projector. We have watched at least 7 or 8 movies on it and are very happy with it.
Well worth the money
March 15, 2017
And Elite Screens come through with another killer screen!I've had a bunch of different screens, including ambient light rejecting ones with very high contrast values that cost a pretty penny to cheapo ones. This is a nice balance. It's gorgeous, looks professional, and is easy to take up and down. I read some people complain about the mechanism, but so far I have not had the problems! I've had it for about a month. I use it with 3d glasses and it's glorious.
Excellent Screen
March 12, 2017
I installed this in front of my 65" plasma and used a hdmi splitter from receiver output to both plasma tv and projector. When a program comes on that warrants viewing on big screen, I turn on the projector, turnoff tv and pull down screen and enjoy the huge screen. Works great. The screen did roll up very slowly for several weeks but now you must hang on to it when retracting. Picture is excellent/super bright and very happy with this screen.
Can't beat it for the money. Solid. No frills.
November 23, 2015
If you have tall ceilings and want to drop the screen lower this has 24 inches of extra black drop at the top. The case is well constructed of steel with plastic ends. The screen mechanism seems quite good, although there is nothing to prevent a "runaway return" so are if you are using this in a public setting like a conference room someone will break it. The screen is not tab tensioned or anything fancy, so the edges of the screen curl a little bit -- really not a big deal at all and not worth spending 5x more for! This is a solid screen. I gave it five stars considering its low cost -- if you don't need motorized, controlled return, or tab tensioning you don't need anything more than this screen. When first used it had a bit of a "new shower curtain" smell which went away after I left it down for a day.
Great Movie Screen!
June 2, 2013
This screen was was easy to install. Note: There is no additional hardware that comes packaged with this screen. There are two easy ways to install this screen:1 - There are small rings permanently attached at the top of each end of the screen case, so you can just use two #6 screw hooks. Using a tape measure, measure across 102" and mark each end; this is the precise measurement where the two rings will hook into. This is what I did.2 - There are two screw or hook holes pre-drilled on the back ends of the case (the kind you would see when attaching a phone to your wall). The measurement across is also 102", so, provided you have some heavy duty screws or small picture frame hooks, it should install just fine.Overall, the screen is great! There are no ripples, or creases, the screen surface was and still is perfectly flat. One of the great features of this screen is the black bordering on all four sides, it just makes for a better movie watching experience. I could have paid $50 or so extra for the electric pull-down screen, but I didn't see the point in using up another outlet. I figured that if I can't figure out how to manually adjust the screen size, than I probably shouldn't be tying my own shoe laces either.I host movie nights and with an LED movie projector, the picture quality looks phenomenal, very clean and crisp on the 120" screen, especially sci-fi/action and horror movies.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing

First, I should say that I did not end up getting this from Amazon. I ordered it from Amazon first, but the screen came damaged and I had to refuse delivery. Because that was the last one in stock at Amazon, I had no choice but to order form Buy.com.So with that said, I got my screen over a week ago and WOW. I am using the Epson 8500UB with a 13' 5" throw. First it comes in a really nice, stlyish case that the wife likes. Second, its just massive, at 135" your in local theater territory. I have the couch at 13' starting at where somones head would be on the couch and its very IMAX like. The gain on the screen is very good, I can watch during the day without an issue and thanks to the epson, I can even enjoy it with all the lights on. Blacks are good but don't expect miracles during the day.Overall, for $259, I got an incredible screen that I really love with only a couple small waves that I cant even see when the movie is playing. One tip is that as a manual screen, you may not be thinking about screen alignment. With an electric, you can program it to stop at a certain distance but with a manual its up to you to bring it down to the same level you had before. Because this screen has a black drop, you could overshoot. My cheap solution, was to take a piece of black tape and rap it around the pull string. When it hits the carpets as I pull it down, I know I'm at the right spot and stop pulling. Works every time and is wife tested.

Great at this price
September 19, 2017
It's a piece of vinyl in place of actual movie screen material. But, you knew that because of the price right? I did and, it works for me. It's in my garage and it's fine for there. I wouldn't put it in my actual family viewing area though. It's vinyl remember? Or PVC or something. You can seen small squares that almost appear to be odd pixels in the video. The housing is strong and the motor works very smoothly with the remote or the picture hanging controller. I'm glad I bought it. It's actually inspired me to set a good quality screen up in my viewing area. The only reason this screen didn't get 5 stars is simply that, it's not projector screen material. But, for what it is and, at the price it's at, it's worth buying. Not for your high quality movies in HD. But, great for old black and white movies, concerts etc.
It is a nice white screen
August 25, 2017
This projector screen works well! It is a nice white screen, and is thick so that it blocks all light when I hang it in front of my window. It came in dented but still functional, which was a bit disappointing. Would give it 5 stars if it was not dented.

It was delivered in fine shape. Installation was easy and took but a few minutes. The motorized screen worked flawlessly, as did the remote control. The screen resolution gave excellent images. For the price the screen was most reasonable for the quality.
Worth the money
September 1, 2016
So far I'm very pleased with the look and feel of this product. Not too light to feel cheap but not too heavy that it can't be transported for events such as parties. With me being a sports nut and a DJ I'd like to be able to offer videos as part of my package for parties so having this for as cheap as I got it, I'm very pleased. Also the motorized functions work really well. I'll update my star status when I put the projector I'm gonna purchase to use on it. Great price great buy......so far.
Great screen for the price
July 31, 2015
When I unpacked it, I noticed the bar that is attached across the bottom of the screen had its right end lodged up in the main housing. If I had tried to lower the screen then only the left-hand side would have been free and the right-hand side would have stayed lodged in the housing. Fortunately, I noticed it first and was able to free it with a slight nudge from a flathead screwdriver. Other than that, the screen is incredibly nice for its price. The motor is super quiet albeit a little slow to raise/lower, but its for my "Man Cave" so it's not a big deal to me. The remote and its wall mount are a nice touch. I did notice the infamous "smell" on the screen but it's not that noticeable and it goes away after a couple of hours. All in all, I'm very happy with the purchase.
A few tips
February 7, 2014
I just got mine installed. I thought I would pass along a few thoughts and tips while I remember. It comes with very basic (1 sheet) instructions with lots of misspellings and odd word choices (Google translate from Chinese?). Two issues I had to fix and aren't covered in the instructions. 1) The screen wasn't retracting all the way. To fix, there are two dials (yellow and blue) on the right hand side of the screen up inside the case. These have to be adjusted with an allen wrench or a long flat head screwdriver. Run the screen up all the way and twist the yellow one counter clockwise slowly. The screen will retract as you twist. Obviously you should stop when it is fully retracted. 2) The screen was hanging slightly lower on one side than the other when it was fully retracted (about 1/2" difference between the left and right). I ran the screen all the way down and slipped a business card between the roller and the screen so the screen holds it in place. This actually nearly fixed it, I tried adding another card and it was too much. Ended up adding a single thin sheet of paper (so 1 piece of cardstock, 1 piece of regular paper), and this makes the two sides even. The motor is very quiet. I didn't want the controller hanging down (my screen is in the middle of my livingroom), so I put it up in the attic. The remote works by RF (not IR), so it still works. Also, I called customer service at Sky Enterprise USA to see if they had any thoughts on how to fix the issues mentioned above. They didn't, but it was easy to get a human, and they were willing to exchange the item. Waiting for nightfall to check it out...

Very good quality screen
November 7, 2016
Very good quality screen. It is heavy and takes 2-3 people to install. Make sure to have all the tools, nuts and bolts etc that you need handy in advance. Wish they would send all the necessary brackets to make the installation easy for the ceiling or wall. 4 stars because of the installation overheads and lack of all brackets needed. I had to waste time going to buy the brackets which might have cost them a few dollars to send. Anycase good quality screen and our friends love the movies.
Their design flaw became my pain in the a$$.
July 23, 2016
Editing this review because upon seeing it, EliteScreens contacted me to replace the defective one. I didn't realize there is a 2-year warranty when I wrote the following. But they made good on it. Good screen. No complaints. When I got the screen, it wouldn't retract. I called in and they asked me if the left end cap was broken. It was. The customer service rep explained that this happen and that they'd send me a replacement end cap instead of having me ship the faulty one back. I agreed because he said the fix was pretty simple. Well, it isn't if you have never done it before.I'm pretty handy and have been wrestling with thing and damaging the screen in the process. Aside from Elite Screens allowing a poorly-designed part to continue in production, I'm ticked because the CS rep was not apologetic at all, He just assumed I'd be happy to fix it myself and that it was no big deal. At the time, I thought so, too. But now I'm ticked off.Yes, it's been a while since I purchased this, and it is well outside warranty. I just didn't have time to screw with it since the replacement part arrived. So now I have a screen that doesn't retract and the right side border is damaged from me trying to rewind the spring as instructed. Not happy.
Exactly what I expected
May 19, 2014
It is exactly as advertised. There were no issues shipping and it was tightly and securely wrapped.Pros:-Great material-Easy to pull down and locks easily.-Looks nice (stylish aka not an eyesore)Cons:-Does NOT come with fasteners or anything to connect it to a wall. I went to Lowes and bought an L-Bracket and a J-bolt with some nuts so I could fasten it to my wall. (It is hanging from the wall not ceiling). But it seems to support the weight just fine with only one on a stud (other was impossible to hit a stud).****-The sides of the screen almost immediately began to curl inwards. Sitting ~10' away I don't notice it but when you look at it from the side it is VERY VERY VERY noticeable. To be honest this alone was enough to knock it down a star. I know it would begin to do that but not within a week of hanging. So just to reiterate, it isn't noticeable when you sit to watch a movie but it certainly shouldn't happen.I would have sent it back for the curling if it wasn't so incredibly awkward to package and expensive to ship back. If this were something smaller and easier to ship it would have been packed and RMA'd immediately. It shouldn't curl that extreme that quickly.Conclusion:All-in-all it is a great buy and I would recommend it to a friend since there is scare anything else. It is of quality build and hangs easily enough. The projected picture is SIGNIFICANTLY better than my white wall and I consider it well worth the money paid. The only thing I can recommend to someone before they buy is to measure measure measure and know that this DOES NOT come with materials to hang it other than a few screws but not many people plan to hang it flush with a wall.
Very Happy
January 30, 2014
My screen came damaged (plastic part that mounts to wall was broken off). It was an easy part to replace, but would have required them to replace the entire screen, not just send me the part to fix. I took a credit against the price since I wasn't mounting it there anyhow. Overall i am very happy with the screen, it does have some waviness at the bottom which is only noticeable if you are watching something like espn and the ticker on the bottom has a little movement. I don't think you can beat the experience for the price. Screen is a bit smelly when you first roll it out, had to let it air out for about 48 hours before that went away.
Nice screen with 24" black band at the top.
May 13, 2013
I needed a screen for a home theater setup in our living room. We have 9' ceilings and I didn't have a wall mount location for the screen. As a result, I wanted to have the 24" black band at the top of the screen so we didn't have to look so far up to see the picture. The installation was easy, and fortunately my floor joists were running the right direction. Pulling down the screen is easy and getting it in the right spot just requires a few pulls to get it to catch correctly. It does not have the slow retractor, so you have to be a bit careful when putting it up, but it is just like most other projector screens I have encountered.I am using an 3000 lumen Acer projector and it looks great on the screen, much better than a wall. The aspect ratio seems to be very close. The small black bars on the sides and bottom allow (and large one at the top) for a little overshooting of the screen area.My only complaint is that the slides of the screen seem to curve in just a bit and the screen doesn't always seem to hang perfectly flat. I have only noticed this a couple of times where you get a bit of distortion in the image. However, it isn't much as most of the curl is in the black side borders. This is a large screen. It is just right for our 24x14 room. My projector sits about 18' from the screen.Overall it is a great screen that has made our home theater work well.
Worth every penny..BUT...
April 27, 2012
I was quite pleased once I received this screen. Please note it is my "first" screen. I used an off white wall in the past and must say the projector came to life with this screen. The tube is metal and if you have one of those nice levels with a magnet built in, it makes hanging a breeze. The down side is the tube is a gloss finish and reflection of light from the projector touching it will be highlighted and noted. The end caps are plastic but seem to be made quite well. Note again, if you mount to the wall this screen is right on the wall. Even trim around a door or a painting on the wall will become a problem. I suggest the hangars for up to 6 inch clearance.I purchased the M120UWH2 and the screen worked perfectly for me. The weight of 23 pounds is spread pretty far and seems to be no problem with a few anchor screws, although I would have liked to see an option for a center hangar. The screen has a nice heavy feeling and I have not seen the horizontal lines others have. Once hanging open, it appears smooth as glass. I have no warping on ends with mine at this time. I probably have opened and close the screen 100 times already with no problems and stoping at varied heights. You will not regret getting one of these screens if your coming off the wall. Only fault I find, is the tube gloss color so make sure to mount high enough to avoid contact. A "flat" tube color would have been a better choice along with included hangars(additional 25.00-35.00 cost) which would make it a 5 star winner to "me". Oh, mine also shipped by "truck" and took an appointment to get it.

Great screen, bad shipping.
May 17, 2017
Great screen and love that I can press a button to raise/lower. Would be a dream if I could get this to lower automatically when I turn in my projector.Screen is huge and simple to install. Only reason I'm not giving this a better star review is because it was delivered pretty damaged and the box was beat up pretty good.

Did not meet expectations
September 11, 2017
Finally installed the screen after few weeks. Packaging was ok when I received it.Picture quality is good but there are few wrinkles on screen, which kind of ruins the show, esp when picture background is white. Also, there is some problem with locking mechanism. It locks when fully stretched out but does not lock at other intermediate positions (aspect ratios), as claimed. Last thing is I am not sure if it is a 'Manual' screen or 'Manual B' screen. I ordered 'Manual' but the document came with the screen was for 'Manual B'... confusing.
Decent if you don't have a flat blank wall to use
February 11, 2017
As others have noted, this screen is only so-so if you use a short-throw projector. The screen isn't totally flat at the sides and one part of the bottom where it's attached, so you see a bit of waviness when the picture pans. The chemical smell from the black paint is MUCH worse too if you get the added two-foot drop, which I did. The winding gear is also much noisier than the first one I got from Elite, which was very quiet if you pulled slowly. This one makes noise each time it goes past the two-inch holds, which is a slight bummer as I have it mounted on a shared wall, so my neighbor probably hears it.That said, I'm still satisfied overall, as the price is low.
Delaminated.
November 22, 2016
Purchased November 2013. Performed as it should; almost nightly, in fact. However, the screen has finally delaminated from the roll bar in the last year (out of warranty). The screen surface, which is adhered to the roll bar became brittle in the three years of use and separated from the substrate.
It's seem to be very well-made and was easy to install
September 14, 2016
Read hope that this would work, but with it not being fixed, static, it waived with in a breeze and causes distortion of the picture. It's seem to be very well-made and was easy to install, will return it for a fixed screen
Entry Level Problems: Wrinkles, Waves and Wombats
September 13, 2014
When I was going through the reviews, I came across the problem of wrinkling. I didn't think it would bother me if mine did that, but it does. A lot. When I first got the screen and installed it, it looked great. I thought I would be in the clear for wrinkles. Then, over time, it started to develop wrinkles, which I assumed was the opposite of was supposed to happen, the wrinkles smoothed out with time. But mine got worse. Now any time the camera pans horizontally, the scene "waves" on two sides. It's embarrassing when I'm trying to show it off to people and it pans. Its such a jarring effect. I gave it three stars, because I was aware that this is the entry level and other than the wrinkles, it looks fine. Maybe it's watching a movie on 100 inches at home that makes me euphoric enough to ignore the wrinkles. Just know what you're getting into. I plan on replacing the screen with a better one someday.Oh and as for the wombats, one found it's way into the box.
Damage Item
September 3, 2013
I was very exited about this projector screen at first because it was exactly what I was looking for considering most projector screens are very expensive and all. Well, I got my projector screen with a big dent on the metal part that you pull down the screen, what got me really upset it's that I checked the box after I noticed the dent and I saw no damage on the box so that simply means that it was sent broken. For this types of item Amazon has a policy that you could return the item (by which you have to pay shipping and handling yourself) and then buy the item again as a new purchase. The projector screen works but it sucks that I paid full price for something that was sent broken.

Pretty sure it'll soon lockup in whatever position it is ...
March 19, 2016
Just subtracted a star. Have had the screen since Nov 2013, but I've only lowered and raised it maybe 10 times. Now it's developed an embarrassing clicking sound in the mechanics on one side and visibly stutters on raising and lowering. Pretty sure it'll soon lockup in whatever position it is in when that motor finally goes. Bummer.

Remote has issues

Buy the more expensive screens. These don't work.
September 9, 2016
These screens are very cheap. They do not lock when you pull them down and when they do, they get stuck and you have to take the screen down and manipulated the gravity lock to retract the screen. Very disappointed. I bought three of these of my classrooms. Every one of them has the same defect. They do not lock when you pull the screen down. Don't waste your money.
Bending on the edges, get a tab tensioned screen instead
March 20, 2016
All of the research I read indicated that I should purchase a tab tensioned screen but I ignored that research because this was a well reviewed product for maybe a third of the price of the best tab tensioned screen I would find. There is a reason this is a third of the price of a tab tensioned screen. After a few months of use the left and right edges of the screen have begun curving in rather substantially. If I project onto the edges of the projection area the images warp inwards with the curve. At first it was slight but over time it has become more and more pronounced. My choices are to just deal with the warping at the edge of the screen or reduce the projection area by about 6 inches on each side. This is not an unsubstantial reduction in diagonal viewing area. Before this warping problem I thoroughly enjoyed the screen. It was a fantastic value. But I didn't even get 6 months of use out of this before I've moved on to looking for an alternative. I didn't expect this product to perform as well as a tab tensioned screen but I didn't expect so much bending so early in the life of the product. My advice is to skip this screen and save up for a proper tab tensioned screen where this sort of thing won't happen.
Wrinkles Galore
April 4, 2015
I read the reviews on this screen, noted that some have problems with wrinkling, decided to take a chance. I lost out to the wrinkle. Now when movies pan horizontally, its wavy. If the movie is letterbox, the bars on the bottom are wavy. Any straight horizontal lines on the movie look wavy. I don't retract it when I'm not using it, it stays down, but the wrinkles just don't come out. I'm not saying don't get this screen, because it's hard to say not to the price (that's why I got it), but just know you're taking your chances of getting wrinkles. Next screen I get will be fixed.
Maybe you get what you pay for....
January 1, 2015
Arrived in good condition with no visible damage to the box or the screen case. When the screen is pulled down, there are faint but very noticeable horizontal double lines running the length of the screen, about 8 inches apart. It's very noticeable on a blank screen or when a single color is projected on the screen. The lines are not noticeable when there is a mixed image on the screen. Looks like a flaw in the manufacturing process where some rollers may have left an imprint. Or there could have been some compression while on the roll, although the lines are evenly spaced, so probably not caused while on any small roll. Returning for a replacement to see if this is normal. If it's normal, it's poor quality or bad quality control. Also, after three "pull downs" there is a noticeable set of diagonal v-shaped tension ripples running from the center bottom, where the pull down handle is, to the upper left and right corners. This might be unavoidable and seems to be resulting from insufficient rigidity on the bottom bar. Maybe a square or rectangular cross section bottom bar would not flex as much. On the plus side, the screen material is high quality and the trim is well done. The image is nice and bright and the curling on the sides is minimal and doesn't affect the picture.
An "OKAY" screen but it depends on what you plan on using if for!
August 16, 2013
This screen is a fairly decent screen, build wise! It was well packaged, and was shipped within 2 days (Prime) with out an issue! But where to start this actual review... I guess if your ultimate goal is you wanting a MOBILE screen that you plan to move around a lot or want to roll up when not in use. Then this screen is actually really good for that. It goes up and down just fine! It does have a smell/odor to it but I am sure it will go away with time. Even so it is not that bad, and you don't notice it a couple feet away. If that's your plan, to have a mobile screen! Then I would rate it 3.5 of 5 stars! For the mobility function of this screen.BUT, and I really mean BUT!!! If you want to have an actual "HOME THEATER" screen? Then I would honestly stay far away from this screen or even a roll up screen to begin with!!!This screen does have quite a few (vertical) waves in it! And the left and right edges curl in quite a bit near the black border as well. Probably about a 1" (inch) curl at the left and right edges. It also developed horizontal wrinkles in the middle of the screen that takes up about 3 feet of the center of the screen. The wrinkles are straight across horizontally and spaced apart about 2-3 inches. Totally distracting while watching anything on this screen. The horizontal wrinkles were NOT there when I first rolled open the screen. But have developed during the time I kept it unrolled for about 5 days!Overall I would honestly send it back and go a different route if the option of sending it back wouldn't be so difficult and costly!!!So all in all, if you plan on using this for a home theater room. PLEASE stay away! BUT if you need a portable screen then well I guess the screen quality will not be as big of a factor!!The ripples, waves, and wrinkles just kill the overall rating of this screen! Not a happy customer overall! I will try to submit photos and show you what I am talking about.
(Was) a good screen with a catch.

Pros:No wrinkles (yet)Good QualityPull Down Mechanism worksPriceIncluded free giftsCons:Wider than what diagram showsNo Hardware for mountingSEE UPDATESOther:The Free gifts are actually mail in rebates for free items, but none-the-less very much worth it. In my package was info to get a free projector mount and an extra cable for an electric screen (to connect to wall switch, elimating remote)With the screen being wider than what appears in the diagram, it messed up my whole configuration. It is almost two inches wider than planned, I now have to hang it from the ceiling. It still works and does it well, so I am not too upset. The hardware isn't a big deal because the hooks only cost 68 cents. The rest of the hardware to hang it from the ceiling cost a lot more though. Good buy overall.*Update*After opening the screen and projecting the image, there appear to be some waves. It isn't too bad in the center, it is near the edges. This causes a problem because it distorts the border of the image itself. I am hoping that it will flatten out after a few days. The screen was also missing a cap on the bottom rod of the screen. Elite Screens has great support though and had me fill out a form and is sending the me the cap though. Overall the screen is still worth it. Waves will happen at some point with a pull down screen, so the item still gets 4 stars.*Update 2 11March13*After using the screen for about a month now, I have realized what a waste of money this screen was. There are more waves than what I first noticed, which is highly annoying when I use it for my computer and gaming screen. The screen still retracts perfectly fine. Elite Screens did send me a replacement cap with no hassle and did it quickly. I tried to do the hair drier method to flatten it out, but it did not work. My last hope is to take it down, lay it flat to show the back and iron it with the a thick towel on low setting. If this does not work, I do not know what else I can do. I would recommend buying a fixed screen or making yourself one from Carl's Place.

Customer Service is NON EXISTENT
December 4, 2015
Received the screen, set it up and plugged it in. The LED light came on and I hit the button to make the screen drop down. It made a loud click noise, the LED shut off and nothing happened. The thing seems to be fried as it does not respond to anything, I cant even lower the screen manually because the motor is engaged. It literally broke the first time I pressed the button. Called the company three times, sent two emails and have still not heard back. Customer Service is non existent. GARBAGE!

TOTAL JUNK and a WASTE OF MONEY
September 26, 2017
Absolutely DISSAPOINTED. read dozens of reviews with people criticizing "budget" screens so we went for the higher end screen from Elite. Packaging was fine, no issues, opened it, hung it up and instantly realized we had been totally ripped off. The screen does not hang straight, there are ripples in the left and right of center like someone wearing clothes a size too small. there were black blotches all over the screen that I was mostly able to clean off, but it is very difficult to lock in the down position and even more difficult to retract. I'm an IDIOT for paying more than double for a screen that is probably no better than anyone's economy screen, it doesn't look any better than our beige wall. We COMPLETELY regret the purchase it was absolutely a reach and a mistake believing the hype. Wish we'd bought a $49 - $59 screen, I assume it could not be any worse than this piece of junk..... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. We are real people just like you and hope this is a useful warning to save your money!!!
so when there is action on the screen like the camera panning from left to right
January 2, 2017
I was unable to retract the screen. I had to take it off the wall and take it apart and manually roll it back up, then I had to wind the tension back up and ended up hurting my hand when it snapped back around. I finally got the screen back to where I want, but I have to leave it where it is, I can't get it to retract. The screen is also wavy, so when there is action on the screen like the camera panning from left to right, the image looks very distorted. I would HIGHLY recommend not purchasing this screen. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I thought the problem might get better over time as I always leave the screen in ...

Has permanent vertical waves on screen. Almost get seasick on side to side panning. I thought the problem might get better over time as I always leave the screen in the down position. Nope.... Has very few locking positions. Total waste of money.
I've had the screen for just over a year now ...
September 10, 2016
I've had the screen for just over a year now. I'm the only one who ever pulled it down, and I always made sure to be gentle. Last night, two days before my annual NFL kickoff party, the adhesive holding the screen to the rolling mechanism gave out and the screen came completely off. I've spent all day trying to reach their warranty department, seeing that it's still under the 2 year mark, but I've gotten no answer.
Screen starts to come out from the bottom rod once we pull few times!
May 15, 2016
The Screen Quality is fine, but the build is not good. After few times of use, the screen starts to come out from the Horizontal bottom rod, as the Pull force directly only applied on the center of the screen, the bonding seems very weak and it starts to come out. Eventually if I continue to use the whole screen will come out. I have no choice other than manually add some grommet and tie that to the the bottom rod. Elite screen should have done a better design to spread the whole pull force evenly and also should have made a strong bonding of the screen to the bottom rod. The price of the screen is very affordable, but we cant afford to keep replacing screen frequently..
Returned it.... twice
March 30, 2012
When the package arrived I opened it and the caps on the end of the screen were broken. So I returned the defective merchandise and Amazon promptly sent me a new one. When the second one came there was a defect in that the reflective material only covered about half the screen. The other half was black. So I returned it again for a refund. To Amazon's credit doing the return was hassle free, I just wish they didn't stock this junk product. Clearly the manufacturer has some quality control problems and the packaging was insufficient.
