Side by Side Comparison of: ARKSEN vs VonHaus

I purchased a projector from amazon a few years ago. Since then, we have devised a drive in type setting and I had made my own screen and had a surround sound system I would pull out and it was ok and used often, but became a chore, my screen was nice but didn't take the winters well and eventually failed. I saw this product and for the price decided to give it a shot. In all fairness, I am a guy that enjoys movies outside, not a super home theater guru that has to have the absolute best of everything. So my standards are pretty basic. I mounted this in various places to get the best results and ended up placing it under an eve with outdoor speakers mounted over it. I am super impressed with the results. The picture is comparable or better than what you get from a large screen tv. Part of that is the quality of the projector of course. there is no shadowing, or light that comes through from the back side. the border is black and for a 16:9 movie there seems to be some wasted space, but it works if you watch something old in 4:3. I'm really happy with it, it has held up great outside for a few months now. It raises up out of the way when you're done. It was shipped without damage, and quickly. Very happy with this purchase, and kinda wished I bought it a few years ago. Only wish they made them bigger.

It didn't come damaged which is a major complaint among buyers. Probably because it was packed well. Works great. Very happy

I purchased this product to use as part of my home entertainment system. So far the product has worked great. It is about 20 pounds in weight. I hung the screen on my wall. I bought metal L brackets and A quick link atlowes for around $8.

There are lots of screens with lots of bad reviews so I took a while to decide what screen to get. I got this one and its just what I needed. Its 120 inches, and the pull down mechanism works great. The screen material is nice and heavy, and being so big it helps to act like a blackout curtain to help darken the room. My only complaint is that I already want a bigger screen.

Good quality, and despite other reviews it does have notches in the back to hang on screws. I used two sheet rock screws to hang mine in just minutes. It also has metal rings for hanging on screws. I really love this in the evening on my sun porch, with a nice sound bar, it is almost like being in the theater, with the comfort of home.

In generally it is fantastic! The material is nice and thick and it works great for my projector. Downside are: 1) the edges are rolled just a bit, it doesn't cause any problems and I don't expect it will but it just sets my OCD off; 2) my cats really like the string... darn cats; and 3) the screen is a really weird size, I have two different projectors and neither one of them fits the screen in the way you'd want.I had to made serious modifications to my mounting system in order to get the picture to fit because where the projector was at it fit the screen perfect vertically but over shot the edges by about 10 inches. After the modifications it worked great and I really enjoy it. Definitely would buy again because the size and material of it was fantastic for the price!

heavy so the process of delivery must've been a pain for usps. It arrived ripped and a light scratch at one tip. Thank God it's nothing noticeable.

This screen is awesome and it is huge. It is around 8' long so shipping it is always going to be a problem. The outside framing was bent (during shipping) but it did not hurt the screen or it mechanics. Overall I am very pleased with the screen.

We have had this screen for about a month. It has worked well and was easy to hang. The only issue I have with it is cosmetic. It came with a dent in it.

My projector screen also had a dent in the middle. It must be something in the manufacturing process, or a defect. BUT, it doesnt take away from the overall value of this projector. Easy to put up, looks good. For the price, it's a good value! We are keeping this outside so I didn't want to spend top dollar necessarily.

Only reason I gave it a 4 star and not a 5 star is that the tube has a dent in it. But it doesn't effect using it. For the price it is very nice

This screen is good quality for the price. The box that it is shipped in doesn't protect it at all. I arrived home and found the 10 foot long box at my door. The first thing I noticed was that the box was damaged and was bent in the center. After removing the box I found a few kinks in the center of the screens metal housing. The housing is slightly bent. Yes I know I should just return the screen. But I bought it for my porch and didn't think it was worth the bother to return because it still works perfectly. I definitely would have given it five stars if not for the poorly made box and damage.

The screen arrived within the estimated time. The box was damaged, but the screen was not because the foam packing blocks seemed to protect it. I haven't set it up yet, but I extended the screen and there were no flaws or waves in it. The only issue I have is that the rivets that attach the pull handle were broken completely off so I cannot use the handle at all. Since I will be using this as an outdoor movie screen, the missing handle is something I can deal with. This is by no means a top-of-the-line screen, but for the cheap price I expected a lesser product so I'm not disappointed with what I received.

Pro: Screen was good and showed very clearly with my projector.Con: since ive had it i have had too take it apart 5 times to rewind the spring to make it retract back up..it keeps breaking every time i bring down the screen and i am very frustrated with it..most likely going to send it back
