My 8 year old loved it. Although the feather head piece was not as pictured and did not stay on like the picture.

My daughter is 51", 72# and I ordered a Large. I wanted to make sure she had enough coverage and that it wasn't too tight. It does seem to be too large but since the material is pretty stretchy it still fits nicely. Best part of getting it too large, the skirt is longer! The colors are gorgeous and it is, overall, a really well made costume.

This costume is very brightly colored. The material is ok. For the price, I don't know what people expect. The collar material is very stiff and scratchy, to the point where I see my child taking it off before too long. However, I see why it has to be stiff for it to stand up though. The headpiece is not made of the best quality either, but I can make it work somehow. The costume looks pretty much like the picture and the colors are the same too. I can see my daughter enjoying this a lot.

Great costume

I ordered the size recommended for my 4 year old. I ordered it by the weight ranges. Runs a bit small. The skirt part kept riding up at the waist for her. The neck ruffle didn't line up right. One side rested lower than other side so it looked crocked. 4 year old love it though.

If you expect this for one time use then go for it. Otherwise, spend the money carefully.Costume arrived slightly different from the pic.1) Head piece is completely disappointing, I reordered a much well structured finer feather piece to go with it.2) The neck piece is super uncomfortable if your child has sensitive skin. I had to remove it eventually.3) The wing attached to the lower back looks cheap, which was also removed and replaced with real feather wing purchased separately.For the money I spent, I have no complaint about the costume itself. Make sure to steam iron the costume for better result.

This peacock costume is just as pictured. It is exactly what you should expect from a $20 costume, it is a great inexpensive costume for my daughter for Halloween. She is 7 and loves this costume. She is super excited to wear it for her school Halloween parade! The feathers are actually quite pretty and the dress itself was very cute! I will say however that the hat thing just has a small comb attached to it so it really doesn't stay on her head right, but I will just attach it to a headband or something and it will be fine!

We only tried it on once when I didn't really have much time. My 10-year-old was looking forward to beinga peacock for Halloween, but she just doesn't like it that much. The headpiece looks really odd and I will need to figure out how to keep itup on her head. So maybe I shouldn't be posting a review yet..... But you can't beat the price for this...... The other thing that I missed in the picture is that the tail feathers are attached to the hands, so if you don't have your hands up and out the tail feather are not spread out and you basicallyjust look like you have a cute green and purple dress on, so I am thinking about trying to construct something that will keep them up and out - maybe a longer piece of wood or so.......

Super cute got lots of compliments on her costume. However she complained it was very very itchy. Will be great if she could wear long sleeve under. It fits to size.

It was very cute and was easy to dress into. The headpiece was covered in what I think is glue and was folded. But overall the dress wasn't too short, like other costumes, it came about every inches above the knee. To get rid of wrinkles all you have to do is hang it up for a day or two.

Thought I would order the large for my in-between sized 10 year-old. I went with the size 12, but should have gone down and stuck with the medium. It was way too big. But the quality was expected for the price, and the face that it was only being used for Halloween.

Was a cute costume, but fell apart the first time trying it on. I had to sew the "tail" back onto the velcro first, and then the straps on the arms fell off and I had to sew those back on, and then the hair piece fell apart. Could use some quality control on this product, prior to putting on market.

Not as pretty as it looks in the picture. The hair piece has a cheap plastic and took several Bobby pins to hold in. It's also one-sided so from the back its just a large piece of felt. The collar is just tulle and doesn't stand up at all. My daughter was very disappointed because that was her favorite part of the costume.

My back feathers came broken and she cannot wear them 😣

Costume is cute but head piece looks nothing like the photo and the quality is poor.

I ordered a large and got a medium. Needed it by friday morning so wasn't happy as I don't believe it will fit my daughter.

no one even new what she was. the wing handles broke first wear. it was too big on her. the hair thing did not stay in..she ended up wearing her last years costume an we went as vampires because we were so board with this costume.

Cute in theory but doesn't fit/look like picture. Dress is way longer, so you don't see the ""feathers" below.Headpiece is NOT as shown. Disappointing!

the collar rips very easily even with gentle straightening- the picture is 1000 times better than in person. it's just really ok... wouldn't recommend or buy again

It was nothing like pictured and people didn't know what my daughter was suppose to be, the material was cheap and the headpiece is not what was in the picture.

Did not receive the headpiece in the package. Very cheap looking costume.

The tailpiece to this costume needs to be re-sound onto the Velcro because it's off Also the headpiece looks nothing like the one shown in the picture
