It came early! We were having a get together last night and it came a week earlier than expected!
My husband used a regular tool set to put to it together! We love it so far. We kept the flames on while company was here because the house was hot, but we love it so far! Hope it lasts for years to come. It took about an hour and a half to put it together with no stress. Very detailed instructions and numbered parts with arrows.
If you screw it tight enough it does get rid of the most obvious seams. Just don't do it too tight. The fan isn't loud on the heater either.

The fireplace looks great in my refurbished condo. I especially like its slim design, which makes the fireplace an attractive design element without overpowering the room. The fireplace was packaged quite well and arrived in two separate boxes; there were no missing parts and no scratches. I took the advice of other reviewers and notched out the baseboard so the fireplace can rest completely against the wall for a built-in look. The fake flame will never be mistaken for a real one, but that's cool. It still looks good. Overall, I'm quite happy with the product.

I am so in love with this fireplace. It was just what I was looking for to create the homey feel in my living room. It is beautiful. Well made, wonderfully packaged, and easy to put together. It keeps my living room warm, and in the month or so I've had it have not noticed a major difference in my electric bill. It's slender profile was very important as it's very close to a door. I searched for months before I finally made the purchase and I don't regret it one bit. THIS FIREPLACE IS WONDERFUL!

Just what I wanted; the look of a real fire in a room that couldn't have a real fireplace, and a heater that's integrated into it. Now I have both, at a great price with easy to install instructions.

Just as an FYI: I added a wood hearth (base) and an additional mantel to supplement what it came with to better suit the dimensions of this room.

I get so many compliments on this fireplace! We bought this slim fireplace and installed it in our new family room. It really adds a beautiful focal point away from the tv. The fire looks great in the evenings and we use the heater portion in the mornings to knock down the chill. I love that it's safe for our children, works well and looks amazing. Well worth the money, in my opinion. *Tip - Install this directly against the wall for a truly built-in look, and use the anti-tipping device to keep it safe. You just need to make sure you have it in front of an outlet, and have a handyman notch out the baseboard and it will look like it came with the house. Love this!

I was a little skeptical of how sturdy this would be, but I was genuinely impressed. The barnwood color is beautiful. Very easy to put together (it took me about two hours to do myself, and I'm not a tool-savvy female by any stretch of the imagination). The fireplace actually puts out quite a bit of heat! Very happy with my purchase, I would buy it again!

Love it!!! The item was shipped promptly. It was well packed and all parts were in the box and unharmed. The box was very heavy. I assembled the item by myself. The instructions were easy to follow. It took me about 3 hours. I was a little scared to put the item together because of some of the previous reviews but to my surprise it was straightforward and easy. I took my time and went step by step. Your patience is needed because there are a lot of pieces however it was easy. I used an electric screwdriver. The fireplace insert itself will require a long screw driver and there are not pre-drilled holes. I only used 2 out of the 6 screws to secure the insert but there is also a back mount that secures the insert so it is very secure. I love the way it looks. It is very sturdy and the heater works very well. I love having the fire on without the heat because it is warm outside now but the ambience is wonderful! It gives my livingroom a cozy feeling. The price is reasonable and I am very pleased!

Really nice. The tv does not get hot when the heat is on. That may be because our tv is mounted on the wall, but then again the things we put on top of the stand do not get hot either. Its is stylish and gives our apartment a cozy feel.

Great price, perfect for us. I was wary of buying this with no other real reviews yet but I'm stoked. It's surprisingly sturdy. The "flames" look really good and it definitely heats up the room. Would absolutely buy again!

Can't beat this for the price! Love the heater and led options. The heater is a bit loud hence the 4 stars but not loud enough that we cannot sleep. Easy to put together and love the richness in color and slimline width. Very space efficient.

When you're desperate for that warm and cozy feel to a room, this purchase definitely satisfies that. The only reason I've given 4 stars is because I feel like it could have been a tad nicer for the price. The pieces fit together a little strangely, leaving large cracks on one side and not the other and also it's pretty loud. The humming sound doesn't bother me to bad, but now something in the blower is rattling a little. Just small annoyances, but couldn't give a perfect review.

Pros: great quality materials. The look is sleek and not overdone. There is just enough detail to the mantel. There was No damage to my pieces which after reading the reviews I was afraid would be just my luck. Everything was very carefully packaged and wrapped to
Prevent chips or dings. It did take some time to unwrap every piece though. It was Easy to assemble, all holes were drilled with accuracy. Finally, it looks amazing. I was worried the pieces wouldn't fit together nicely but after assembly it looks like it came as one piece. Love how it transformed my living room into a more cozy space. Happy with the white, although it did contrast with the more linen colors of my curtains and lampshades.. However, it does make the white trim work stand out more in my space which I like. (Especially if you have crown molding). Always wanted a fireplace and now I have one that was much less of a hassle then having one installed and looks just as great with the slimness of it. Cons: the box with the wood pieces is very heavy so if you have steps, you will need assistance. Three washers were missing but luckily it's just washers and easy to find replacements. The bolts have an oily residue that does smudge on the white pieces while your assembling but a Clorox wipe did remove the smudges. Note: Any shoe molding on your flooring will create a small gap between the wall and fireplace, but keep in mind also need that room for the chord.. Make sure you pick wall space close to an outlet because chord is very noticeable. But if you have the perfect spot, very easy to tuck the chord behind it so it looks like a built in.

I love this fireplace! I bought it for my small, drafty bedroom and its slim profile works perfectly! Quick to ship, arrived in excellent condition, and took about an hour to set up. The only thing that's a bummer is that there isn't an internal thermostat/auto shut off. I was hoping I could keep this on during the night when I sleep and it would maintain a constant heat. Not a huge deal since there's a timer but still, kind of a bummer.

Installation tip: When you're putting the mantel together don't tighten the screws until the very end. Pieces won't fit together if you tighten as you go along.

Love it! It was a little difficult for me to assemble because two pieces didn't seem to match up correctly but I made it work! It's very pretty and makes my living room look really nice.

This TV stand looks great and the fireplace definitely warms up the room nicely. It wasn't difficult to put this thing together, but it took me a few hours, which was more than I wanted to spend on putting this thing together. The material itself is a bit cheap, but I think at this price point, it is pretty reasonable. The fireplace itself looks pretty realistic from a distance, but the closer you get, the less realistic it looks, which is okay, but we are usually on the couch enjoying the warmth it gives off. It's a really nice tv stand ar a great price and the fireplace heater is great. Assembly was easy too. The only thing I'm kinda disappointed in is the fact the that shelves are too small to hold my dish network dvr box or my dvd player. Other than that, I really like this entertainment center and the wood is laminated over mdf, but it looks good and there is even a wood grain feel. For the price I'd recommend it. Thanks

I've been wanting this for a while. I researched as much as I could in a lot of different ones. I love the color it's a grey wood not too much of a pale grey. It arrived ahead of schedule. I'll recommend buying some better wood glue for dowels though. Also beware when putting it together one piece was not right. It was supost to be opposite of the other and it wasnt. I didn't feel like waiting in the right piece so hubby and I fixed it. There are many places to keep it tighten up. Assembly was about 2+hours. Could have been much less of we had the right part. Manual I'm guessing is out dated. The fireplace insert was not like the manual. It didnt take a genius to know what to do to screw it in place. Once assembled if you need to move it pick it up with help. If you scoot it the piece under it to give a little more security comes loose and could break if you're not careful. I do wish the fireplace had a remote but I don't mind getting up to turn it in. Also there's only an in for heat no heat level. There is an only flame no heat feature. I'll update if anything happens to the one we bought.Updated nov 2016 it has since bowed in from a 48in tv weight. The tv is average size for a new aged flat screen and the stand shouldn't have bowed in. I'm disappointed in it and looking for a new stand. The fireplace itself was used sparingly and still works amazingly.

Pros: This TV stand and fireplace looks great in our family room which is about 300 sq feet and it warms the room very well. I can feel the difference when I walk out of the room into the attached kitchen and can feel the difference, so that works great! We bought with our amazon log on but bought through the manufacturers site as it was 10 dollars cheaper then, but not today as I just saw. It came so fast! I ordered it on Friday evening and received it on Wed afternoon by fedex, just in time for thanksgiving!Construction is solid if the 22 step process for building it is followed well. It took about 2 hours for my husband and I put it together, I am mechanically inclined but hubby not so much, we also had a 4 year old "trying to help."Cons: All the cam locks worked well, except for one, so I do have my upper left posterior corner a little loose but the tv helps stablize. The very annoying ones were the screws that needed to have the allen wrench used on them, they were a pain in the butt to screw in, thankfully there are only 4 of those. The other issue was the screws to screw in the fireplace insert. The instructions stated there were 8 screws. Three on two sides of the fireplace insert and two on top. We only had 6 for the sides, the issue is that the insert pushes all the way up to the front of the unit so you have to put your hand, screwdriver and screw into the darkness of the sides of the insert and wish the screw doesnt fall. My screwdriver was not magnetized and wish it was as this would have made it muchs easier, this took almost 30 minutes with multple drops of screws and us cussing up a storm, but got them in finally.Overall, a good piece of furniture for those who don't have a lot of money to spend on furniture but want something stylish with good utility. One or two reviews states the top warmed up when fireplace is on. I have not experienced this and my tv sits right on top and there is no problem, the top stays cool.I would given it 5 stars if we didnt have a few cons

Excellent Item, heater works great. Could of been a bit easier to screw in the screw; hard to reach. But all and all a great unit and added heat into the TV room without adding or running any gas lines. Just plug it in and it works great and immediately...

Love the fireplace....it looks so nice in my living room and really adds a sense of style to my home! I did not like putting it together because it took longer than the previous reviews stated.

We are in love with this fireplace!! My only frustration is that the DAY after I purchased, the fireplace was being sold for $75 less :( Be careful and price watch before you buy!

This fireplace is well constructed and attractive. It puts off plenty of heat and I run it all night to heat my bedroom. Unfortunately the heaters settings are disappointing. You cannot set the heat to whatever temperature. It goes up in 2 degree Celsius increments or about 4 degrees Fahrenheit. The lowest heat setting is 71 degrees Fahrenheit. The fireplace light cannot be completely shut off either. The fan only blows at one speed. The cheapest of space heaters have more features than this heater. Having said all this I would probably buy again.

This doesn't heat like the description or the reviews say. We bought this for our finished basement to give a nice look, a mantel, and help heat the area. The heater is at the top of the fireplace and points upwards instead of out or down. Yes, it does heat up the room... eventually, but so would a $30 space heater. The flames are decent and look real though it looks as if they insert an odd jagged piece in the center coming from the top to add to the real flame look but it actually makes it look fake. Should have left that out.

The look is very high quality. UNFORTUNATELY it makes an ANNOYING NOISE when the flame is on (heater not on). Would probably be ok if you are hard of hearing, however I am not. Took 2 of us 2 hours to assemble.This would be 5 stars without the noise!

It would have gotten a higher rating if not for the broken fireplace, which lights up but does not heat the room. In fact, the first few times I turned it on - it smelled like something was burning. I could hear it *attempting* to work, but the unit shuts off after a few mins without actually heating up.

I really love it, though it was a pain to assemble. However, the fake logs in the fire place were chipped. We didn't feel like going through the trouble of trying to get a new one so we ignore it. You can't see the chip when the fireplace is on so oh well. Works great. Very sturdy.

I I don't know why people are saying this is an easy set up. Both my parents and I have been at it for the last 2 hours and are about half way done. Half the parts don't have labels on them so you have to guess and hope it's correct. I'll let you know how it works when we finally get it out together..

The price is pertty high for cheap particle board, DIY furniture, but that's mainly because of the electric firelplace. The metal housing of that fireplace buzzes if the volume of the TV sitting on it is too loud. Having separate switches for the fireplace heat and light is a little weird. Still, it warms my small living room nicely, and has saved us some money on the gas bill this winter (without dramatically increasing the electric bill.)

The unit itself was fairly easy to assemble and is quite attractive for not being solid wood. However, I have now owned this for less than 2 months and the fireplace switch has broken. Seller policy only covers defects for 7 days, so I have to defer to the manufacturer to attempt at receiving a replacement. Will update when available.

I ended up just using the bridge in the back and forgo the screws.Overall I not dissatisfied but not completely happy with the product. The only reason I kept it was because of the fireplace and my significant other convinced me we could decorate the darn thing well enough to hide the cheapness. I won't buy furniture from amazon online again,nothing against Amazon but they have to do a better job with describing the product. "Wood" is not the same as "Veneer" or "Wood Product". In addition products have to be inspected to make sure consumers get a fair price. I will stick to going into the store.

Like a Disneyland fire, super fake. Though the mantle was beautiful and looks just like a built in fireplace, my husband and I couldn't get over the chessiness of the flames. Also the heater sound is pretty loud and takes away from the effect even more. In addition, a couple pieces of the mantle were bowed and some pieces didn't fit together well so it left small gaps. I'm shocked that some reviewers said the flames look real. Maybe in Disneyland. Returned.

The heating unit is fine; the "cabinetry" is junk!

I'm becoming very frustrated first it was missing screws and washers for assembly. I contacted the vendor but the responded wanting the model and some other info so rather than wait I just spent the 5 bucks at the local hardware store. Looks decent a few flakes of paint but not to bad but now when I turn it on it runs for like 15 min then the temp light flashes and it stops heating until I unplug it. The directions on the heater portion are limited at best and no info on line. I sent the vendor a message hope thus is an easy fix going to be a big pain to return if not. Will post an update soon....
Update:well I had to send all the model info (guess my order doesn't track to what I bought ) then I had to send pictures and videos of the problem. They sent a new heater piece but when I put it in the wood piece you put the screws into on the left split and the one on the right doesn't seem so great. It looks ok from a distance but more flaking of the paint and I feel like it's not very sturdy. I really wanted to love this was super excited to set it up but now it's just disappointing doubt it will last very long. Overall rating is low since the vendor was slow in responding missing parts and not holding up very well in a very short period of time. :(

So this thing was a hassle and you get what you pay for. I got it in the mail, packaging was fine but opened it up and one piece was completely split in half and another was cracked all down the front. I went and tried to get my money back and I was entered into a ten day lengthy process of sending pictures of the damage etc. They finally said they would send me replacement parts after this long hassle with no compensation and it took several days to get to me. When putting it together, the top was bowed so it wouldn't fit right, and there were several things that were just stupid like having to hand screw two of the screws with a tiny wrench. Not effective when they could have it least made it a screw top so you could use a screw driver like all the other screws we had. And there were a few steps that were just impossible to do and unnecessary so I just didn't do them. It was a lot of difficulty for this one piece with all the waiting etc wish it would have just come not broken so I could have just got what I paid for in the first place and avoided all this mess!

I was so excited to receive this and put it together but that excitement was short lived. It was packaged great but the wood is so cheap, the pieces don't align and during me trying to screw in one of the pieces the whole thing shifted and the whole piece cracked and is completely damaged. My stand arrived defective and the holes were not drilled in deep enough so I had someone come over and drill them deeper so the cam screws could go in. It looks really nice aside from the huge split I'm just upset that for the price I paid I got something defective, cracked and not sturdy at all.

Cheap wood material but very heavy. It's not easy to assemble at all. I followed the book and at final step I realized it was reversed so had to take it apart and redo and followed my instinct. I'm single female and took me 6 hours to finish. I think the instructions are missing some details because I have a lot of extra screws left. Also the wood easy scratched and broke while screwing it. I didn't return because I of the time I spent putting it together.

It is nice but absolute ridiculous to put together, some of the "pre-drilled" holes did not exist and it took absolutely TOO LONG! Be prepared to spend half a night putting this together

Received this fireplace today and much sooner than expected. Husband put it together by himself. No heat setting, it's either on or off. We noticed the fire place LED lights when they rotate to make the flame effect there is a loud click every 3 seconds. Super annoying. Not sure what we are going to do about this.

out of all the reviews i read, no one mentioned the fact that there's NO THERMOSTAT for the heat not even a low switch, so if you forget to turn it off ur room will be 100 degrees, or with on u constantly have to get up and shut it off because it gets too warm in the Room doesn't even come with a remote , even the cheapest $25 portable heaters have a thermostat they could've charge me an extra $5.-$10 dollars and added the thermostat it would've made the product much much better .. Very disappointing I bought mainly for the heater..

It came to me broken so when I reported to the manufacturer they said if I kept it they would send $$$ back to me, that was last year never got a response so I should have sent it back!!

Fan motor rattles when turned on. Great looking fireplace, but once heater and fan motor turn on, the rattling of motor kinda ruins the whole outcome of the product. Not impressed with firebox.

The unit looks pretty good; however, shortly after purchase, it began to bow downward in the middle, apparently from the weight of my tv (which is not particularly heavy). The center support piece underneath the unit also cracked off. The fireplace works well but it makes a loud clicking noise, which could be annoying for some people.

Came broken. Not the quality we expected. Returned and only got half our money back.

Bought for my daughter for Christmas, she loves it! I thought it was a bit small, I expected more but she loves it. It is definitely for a smaller space but very cute! An update...System was up only one week and the center stabilizing bar under the fireplace insert BROKE!!! So very disappointed and NEED HELP from Amazon to for an exchange. I would rather return but my daughter will exchange, since it was her gift, it's her choice! We definitely received a DEFECTIVE system!

Well packaged and arrived ahead of schedule. I am not happy with the quality. Some pieces do not fit together correctly and it looks shabbily assembled. (holes for cam locks inconsistent in depth and location to pins) When in fact it was assembled very carefully. Colors are nice. But the appliqué/finish is too easily damaged.I would not purchase again.

Bought this and got in good time. After putting it together the cam locks came loose and unit started to weaken. After a few weeks the console was starting to bow. Only Used 4 weeks. Wasted money. Disappointed

I purchased this item around January 11th 2016. March 3rd 2016 the fireplace no longer works. I received an email from the seller regarding their "strict return policy". I would not recommend this product to anyone looking for a good working product. Money not well spent. I have AA batteries that lasted longer than this fireplace. Very sad.
