Highly recommend. August 21, 2017 Screen is great. It's portable, well-built and relatively easy to put together. The frame is steel which makes it hold up in any condition (kit includes stakes in case of windy day). It also includes a couple of travel bags that hold the poles, screen. It may be a little big for small rooms but if you plan to use it outdoors, this screen is perfect. We used it on July 4th and had a great time. Awesome outdoor screen! July 10, 2017 Perfect camping movie screen! pairs perfectly with the Pyle PDA5BU Amplifier Receiver Stereo system set. I had absolutely no issues putting this together and taking it apart. NO PINCHED FINGERS like the other reviews noted. Maybe the company listened to complaints and fixed the locking spring tabs since mine are round. Just a little thumb pressure easily unlocks the pieces and allows easy sliding. Love this screen!!... took about 5 min to assemble and a minute longer to disassemble due to careful folding/packing. Didn't even look at the instructions, not rocket science! BTW .. this is replacing a bigger blowup screen that requires constant power, is twice as heavy and takes almost half hour to setup! Very easy to set up and take down, and the screen material seems strong enough to last for a very long time. I was expecting something a little flimsy that would get the job done for a few viewings. This feels like it might be the first and last screen I ever have to buy. The only challenge was that due to the humidity, taking it all back apart was a little difficult. Everything fit together so tightly that it was hard to pull the bars apart. That's a sign of good construction, so definitely not the manufacturer's fault. I previous was using a king sized white flat sheet that was clamped to my photography backdrop stands. It didn't look the greatest but it got the job done. My only problems aside from the aesthetics was that they way I set it up, it was not stable at all when the wind started to blow. This portable outdoor movie screen is perfect. I actually get more screen area with this then I did with the bed sheet. I also love that it takes about 10 minutes to set up, even less to take down. Best part is that it can be done alone without any assistance. With my previous set up it took a much longer time to set up and take down. I don't know why I waited so long to buy this. It already paid for itself by saving me from headaches. If you host outdoor movies, this is a must buy. June 27, 2014 I'm writing a review to help people like me who's undecided on every purchase I'm making. So anyway, got the package in 2 days. Very fast shipping, I didn't expect a huge package in front of my doorstep. It is on good packaging box.The screen itself is huge!!! A little wrinkle on the left side but no big deal I already expected that from reviews and it didn't bother me since it got straitened up after 1 movie. Installing is a no brainer. 2 screws and it's already mounted. I would say the quality for me as a new projector owner is a A+++. It's cheap, huge, and good quality. I was ready to purchase a 3 year old screen on craigslist for $50 and here I found a brand spankin new screen for $20 more and I got me a bombiznitz projector screen. Very happy . F.y.i I installed it on my new patio deck. Outdoor. It's summer time and I will practically use this almost everyday until I get tired of it. But on winter I might take it inside to avoid moisture. It's definitely a fun toy, but with such a low resolution and dim light this is most likely just going to collect dust. Amazing value, one fatal flaw April 25, 2016 The main reason I give it four stars is the value. Most projectors that project at higher resolutions get close to $500, so I could not pass up a $64 deal. The viewing angles are great, but you'll have to do some tweaking to get your preference. That being said, the reason it loses a star is the magnification lens. It is definitely not a good one. I tried numerous times to get a clear picture but there were still discrepancies in the image, especially around the edges. It would have lost two stars if I didn't discover a quick-fix by mistake when I was waving my hands through the image. Take a scrap of paper - about one inch in width - and tape it to the projector so that the lens is covered up about halfway. This completely fixed the image for me and if you're having the same issue, I definitely recommend some "home solutions." Also, my remote didn't work. It doesn't matter to me, my futon is right behind the projector so using the built-in buttons is just as easy. Other than that, there is no problem with the projector. Very professionally made This works wonderfully for my children and I January 25, 2016 This works wonderfully for my children and I. We project it onto a white wall in our living room. The image is a little blurry but still acceptable hence the four instead of five stars. For the price, I can't complain too much. We use it for birthday parties and all the kids love it. Worth the Price. January 8, 2016 It is worth every dollar. It is pretty clear and great to just throw a fire hd stick into and use it as a streaming tv. One thing I would mention was I had an issue were it was vibrating and would cause the focus ring to move and lose picture. I restarted it and that has seem to go away.. My only wish is the IR sensor was on the side with all of the buttons because since it is on the back you have to stretch around the projector to use the remote. Just a heads up, if you're using a HD fire stick, turn off 5.1 audio or you will not have any sound. Great product, just a little loud. October 20, 2017 I bought this as it was recommended by an outdoor theatre guy as his choice of portable screens, to go with an Epson projector. It is gigantic, much bigger than I was expecting, and while one person can assemble it and take it apart, it takes two to move it. Its very solidly made, and popping the frame apart to pack away is much easier if you use a flat knife or some other such poking tool to push down the connecting pins, they are serious business and pushing them in with a finger does not do the trick. The clips that attached the screen material are also tough, and need care to avoid getting your finger flesh trapped (I learned the hard way). I would not say that the screen is something you would want to put up and take down after each movie - unless maybe you were camping - because it is a bit of a hassle -and I have yet to see how it will handle the elements - it got wet, and I noticed some rust water inside the frame when taking it down for the first time. On the whole I am very satisfied with the purchase and think it will work wonderfully for my location and outdoor movie watching needs. The anchor system is great and the storage bag is perfect August 21, 2017 I used this with a projector from behind that was inverted to show the picture correctly from the other side and it did very well. I set it up by myself in about 8 minutes but I'm also pretty tall. This would be tricky to do by yourself if you're shorter but I'm sure it would be possible once you're familiar with it. Screen arrived with no dents or any issues. I'm not sure if there was supposed to be any mounting hardware but FYI there was none. no chain, no brackets, no hooks nothing. The screen looks great though and hangs nicely. So far the retraction mechanism has worked perfectly. It stops right where we want it when pulled down. And when we put it up, it rolls up all the way and stays there. It does have a bit of "waviness" to it and when footage pans left and right you can notice a waiving of the picture but its not too bad. The black edges of the screen do curl in a bit as well but this doesnt really affect the picture at all. We're using it with a 16x9 Optoma HD28DSE projector. I am a pretty handy gal and have put together most of my own furniture and all sorts of large appliances, even with terrible or no instructions, but this was too much. I spent 30 minutes just trying to get the poles together and gave up after I realized this product wouldn't be suited for my idea of the occasional impromptu outdoor movie night because of all the work required to assemble it. I didn't even make it to the part about attaching the screen. Then I spent another 30 minutes just on pulling the few poles apart. I have a white pvc fence to project on and that works ok, but I tested the difference between screen and no screen and it does make a nice difference projecting on the more uniform surface of course but need a more convenient option. Easy assembly- Pain to take apart August 1, 2016 Started off great. The frame snaps together easy and clips make hanging screen quick.Unfortunately 2 issues arose......Screen had a horizontal crease that was very pronounced. Some Ironing helped some but it was still present.The HUGE issue is disassembly. The small metal nubs that hold the pieces of the screen frame together are very hard to depress hard enough to get the frame apart. I had to Mcgyver a tool to help. It was a huge pain and I did return the screen. Item arrived and the holes didn't match up. Returned ... July 28, 2016 Item arrived and the holes didn't match up. Returned item and received another. Second item had one of the pop out buttons wayyyyy down into the tube and was unusable. Returned for the second time. The picture on the screen is great. Unfortunately March 25, 2016 I did my research before purchasing this item. I looked for convince with setting it up, with taking it down, and of course the clarity of the picture. Out of those three things I got only one. The picture on the screen is great. Unfortunately, the set up and break down is horrible!!! The snaps are miserable to push on and pull off. They hurt your fingers and one of the snaps has already broke, due to trying to pull it off without pinching your fingers. The frame is a push button snap thing. I usually have to get my dad or brother to take it apart. They have had to use a tool to push the button in and turn the pole to pull it out. All this to say it's not convenient or easy to set up or break down. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! | 4% Usable after some repairs September 11, 2017 This is a decent projector screen but the one I received was damaged. The roll was completely dislocated from the housing so when it was pulled open for the first time there was no way to retract it. Due to its size it would have been cumbersome to attempt a return I so opened the end caps for the housing. One of the "bearings" was pushed about 3" into the rod center. I was able to pull it back out and secure it with a screw, had to retention the rod and put everything back together. The shipping box had no signs of damage on the ends so this was a manufacturing fault. Be prepared for it to stay down September 3, 2017 2nd time I tried using it, it no longer rolls up!! Very frustrating! Just the screen, nothing else December 24, 2016 Did not come with any nails or hanging tools. Fell and broke within 3 weeks of using it. Worth the read, accurate reporting here December 8, 2015 Sorry to do this but a poor review is in order. The screen arrived and within the package the metal housing had a dent in it, I do not believe this happened in transit and that it was packed this way. The unit is very lightweight and of marginal quality. The screen pulls-out fine but will not spring-retract all the way, it hangs about 20-inches out and you need to hand push it back into the housing if you want it fully retracted. Also, the screen material tends to curl-in around the edges. The seller responded by telling me they'd send me a replacement but it's been weeks and it's never arrived. The price is cheap but you get what you pay for; it gets the job done but all the materials, quality and workmanship is very marginal. BUYER BEWARE October 18, 2015 I rarely, if ever rate something this low. I manage my expectations well in kost cases. However, this listing is Seemingly misrepresented as 119"LIt's 84 x 84 so using an HD projector this yields an 97" diagonal picture in 16x9 format.That is, quite short of a 120 inch diagonal.This item title needs to be fixed, it's falsely represented as 119" L, and there is nothing 119"L about it.The seller also refused to cancel the order even through they didn't ship for another full week. And then stopped responding to emails altogether. One Star Reviews: | 17% A no projector Christmas December 5, 2016 Black Friday buy. The projector will not power on. I'm glad I tried it out before Christmas morning. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT November 30, 2016 Do not!!! I repeat do not buy this item!!!!! I took it out of the package plugged it into my MacBook Air and there was a pop sound and smoke started coming from the projector... to make matters worse my laptop will not turn on now and I have to take it to the Genius Bar. Do not purchase April 10, 2016 Purchased as a Christmas gift and 3 months later it stopped working in the middle of a movie. We are now beyond our return policy and have a very disappointed child since their Christmas gift stopped working. Did not like at all March 31, 2016 Thought the product was incredibly cheep prompts very confusing set up horrible | 3% Complete and total waste of money April 12, 2016 Save your sanity. Do not buy this screen. I bought it in January but haven't put it together because the weather wasn't propitious until now. Today, I tried. The frame consists of shock cord poles that snap together. But more than just snapping together, they have those little buttons on springs on the inside pole section that are supposed to snap into holes on the outside pole section. And snap they do. The springs are very strong and the tops are more squared off than they ought to be. Since they don't slope hardly at all, they have to be pushed absolutely flat. If you do buy this screen, take my advice. Don't snap them all completely in place before the last one. It won't fit together properly. You need to leave two of them partially pushed in and then snap the last two in place. I found out, when I tried to pull one out partially, that taking them apart with your bare hands is an impossibility. At least it was for me. I ended up never getting that last piece in place and never attempted to fasten the screen to the frame. It took me an hour to get the poles apart and I had to used channel lock pliers to hold the buttons in part way while pushing them the rest of the way with a screwdriver and simultaneously pulling them apart. You should have seen that trick! And now the poles are so scratched up from they way I had to take them apart that I can't very well send it back. There's a bunch of money down the drain! I read the reviews on this screen before purchasing it and I never read where anyone else had this problem. Perhaps my fingers are just not strong enough, but if that's the case, I would just warn you that if you don't have strong fingers, don't get this screen. As opposed to the description ('Screen Dimensions (Within White Lines): 92.5“(L) x 74.5“(H); Diagonal Screen Dimensions: 119”'), the total width of the fabric (including black material on the edge) is 87", with just over 1.25" of black material on either side. This means the diagonal viewing area can be no more than 97" at 16:9. I hope this saves someone the trouble of returning I am about to embark on. SOL August 19, 2017 The screen is fine, but it is not the advertized size and BCP is not responding to my emails. I tried calling and couldnt get a human on the other end. The screen is listed as 92.5" x 74.5" The one I have received is 84" x 84". Check its retract mechanic before drilling your screen mount... March 11, 2017 Item arrived defective due to the inner roll wasn't fully attached to the both edge (square shape) to function properly for rolling down and retract. After numerous of attempts to put it together where I finalized the square nut on the right is short by an inch to make this projection screen works. It's a shame to see such good rating screen fail. I saw 119"L in the description, which makes you think 119 inches long, right? Then in the brief description a the top of the page, it says 116" diagonal viewing, so I think, OK, not 119" long, which is STILL in the part name, but 116" diagonal - still should be pretty good. THEN look at all 3 pictures at the top that show the full screen of the product - NONE of them show a square screen. 2 of them look like a 4:3 ratio and one looks like it might be widescreen, but none of them look remotely square. While, yes, I can just pull the screen down part way to get a 4:3 ratio or even a 16:9, that makes the overall screen SMALLER than the part name and initial description lead you to believe. Very misleading!
